Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (I'm pleased) 『I'm really pleased to purchase this ion tape2pc.I will recommend this item to anyone interested.Good choice』
(tape2pc) 『works good but has a problem with a conflict when I have my usb turntable attached also to my computer』
(Quite Impressed) 『I am quite impressed by the tape to mp3 converter. It is very easy to use. The software is simple and works well. Overall- this was an excellent purchase.』
(Playing speed is slow) 『When recording the tape player plays at a slow speed distorting the sound. One of the decks works somewhat better than the other, but, neither is as accurate as my cassette deck. The other features; tracking , titling and transferring worked great.』
(Hit or miss. This is a big miss.) 『After seeing mixed reviews, I purchased the Ion Tape 2pc hoping it would produce like the five star ratings I read, not the many one star ratings. Unfortunately, it is a very cheap tape deck. I tried eight different tapes, and they were all playing too fast. I adjusted the gain correctly, set my pc for stereo input and did everything in the instructions. I then tried all tapes on two different cassette decks I have at home, and they worked great. Maybe some Ion units that ship work fine, but why play roulette. I had to fish the packaging out of the trash and send it back to Amazon. What a piece of junk! Buyer beware.』 『ARCHIVE YOUR CASSETTES TO MP3...PLAY ON ANY DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYER! ION has created a revolutionary USB dual cassette deck allowing you to convert your cassette collection to CD or MP3 with included recording software. (NO SPECIAL DRIVERS NEEDED). Tape2PC comes bundled with EZ Tape Converter by MixMeister, which converts your audio cassette recordings directly into iTunes¿. In just a few mouse clicks, you'll be up and running with digital versions of your tapes. Upgrading your favorite recordings has never been easier.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Easy Transition) 『The Pioneer replaced a Sharp that finally died. Everything worked right out of the box. So, it was just a matter of learning the new control positions. I am very happy with the unit.』
(Dual cassette deck Pioneer CTW208R) 『I am quite satisfied with this item. Wish its outer casing was more attractive, with some part having wood looking panelling. received in good time, good packing.』
(Great value and good quality) 『With cassette decks becoming more and more a rare commodity, and myself in need of one, thought I'd give this one a shot. Found a customer return on clearance for $97 (from Vanns), and looks to have been a good decision. The buttons are responsive, the mechanisms smooth and quiet, and my tapes sound darn good through it. Teac has a low budget one for around $90, but other reviews made it sound cheap and cheezy, plus there was no push-button tape eject mechanism on it. A review of a comparable Sony (around $150) said the unit could easily be damaged, simply by an incorrect button push while the unit was playing. No thanks. This Pioneer unit is solid, quality, nice looking, easy to hook-up and use. Considering the dated technology, it's ashame none of these deck units sell for lower cost. Makes me think the RIAA is somehow involved. But, if you want a quality unit for around $150, you can't go wrong on this one.』
(cassette recorder ctw208R) 『this unit works great, it was needed to copy a collection of cassette recordings that were getting some age on them. it is good to find a quality unit still available at a reasonable price.』 『Tried and true, the Compact Cassette remains the most popular recording medium ever. For making exceptional recordings simply and quickly, the CTW208R is an excellent choice. With Dolby B&C noise Reduction, double auto-reverse transport, and full logic IC controls, and Music Search, this deck has the most requested features. Both cassette decks have auto reverse mechanisms, allowing for long-term listening and recording capabilities. Continuous Play with Auto Reverse select from several modes of playback-choose to play back all of tape A, then all of tape B or play the front side of tape A then the front side of tape B, then play the back side of each tape. Or, just use standard continuous play-load two cassettes into the unit, and select PLAY on each deck. When tape A finishes and shuts off, tape B will begin to play, allowing for uninterrupted listening. Dolby B&C Noise Reduction greatly reduces irritating tape hiss while increasing dynamic range on Dolby B or Dolby C encoded cassettes. Dolby B reduces noise by approximately 10 dB, while Dolby C reduces hiss by a whopping 20 dB. Full-Logic Tape Transport provides electronic, rather than mechanical, control of the drive system of the cassette deck. It delivers more reliability, smoother operation, and quicker one-touch control. To fast forward a cassette that is playing, simply touch the fast forward button then touch the play button when you desire. On mechanical transports, you would have to stop the tape, press fast-forward, press stop, then press play. Metal Tape Capability provides optimum playback calibration with both normal bias tapes as well as high-bias and metal-position cassettes.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great Tape Deck) 『I bought this to transfer old cassettes to disc. It has been a wonder to work with. I have found nothing that doesn't work beyond expectations. With the auto-reverse I just start it up and copy the whole tape to pc in no time at all. Playback on the cassette deck is great.』
(A very good find for the price) 『I purchased this deck for my Dad to play his old cassettes. I was not looking for anything hi-tech and expensive. I got this one for $98.00, much less than what similar products were selling for at Fry's Electronics. It is easy to hook up, easy to use, and the sound quality is great for our needs. The unit is quite large, so if your shelf space is limited, you might want to check the height measurements before you order.』
(Ace of tape deck) 『Actually I needed a tape deck to complete my project and this one came in very handy.』
(Defective out of the box) 『Item was received in factory sealed undamaged box but when opened it was discovered to have a defective cassette door, Item returned for refund. Refund postage was disallowed even though I was assured that it would be refunded. P. Gray

(Don't waste your money!) 『Don't waste your money on this! It's junk!
Specifically: no low frequency response (better sound from a walkman) tape counter was so slow it was of no use no headphone jack no eject buttons (had to push on the door to open)
We returned the Teac and bought Sony TCWE475 Dual Cassette Player / Recorder. We're very happy with it.』 『Around the world, the Teac name is synonymous with high-quality, high performance consumer gear - not surprising when you consider that Teac has been a leader in the industry since its earliest reel-to-reel recorders. Today, Teac manufactures an entire spectrum of components for both high-fidelity audio systems and digitally enhanced home theaters. For many audiophiles, the Teac label is a symbol of pride, one that shows they are serious about audio quality. Industry experts share this enthusiasm for Teac products, giving them consistently high marks for performance. The W600R Dual Cassette Deck with Auto-Reverse features twin IC logic control mechanisms, electronic tape counters, auto-reverse playback (Deck 2), double-deck continuous playback, normal&high-speed dubbing, high-speed dubbing LED indicator, auto tape selector, 2-Color LED peak program level meters, Dolby B Noise Reduction and one-touch recording. This deck is also Teac "UR" (Unified Remote) compatible.』 『Teac's W-600R offers convenience and affordability in a format no longer cutting-edge but still widely used in cars as well as portable and home stereos. The unit's dual-well convenience includes auto-reverse playback in deck 2, normal and high-speed tape-to-tape copying, continuous playback between decks, and auto tape selector (normal, chrome, metal).
Electronic tape counters mark mileage in both wells, while the program level meters sport two colors to highlight peak signals. Dolby B noise reduction cuts tape hiss during playback of Dolby-encoded cassettes, one-touch recording minimizes copying hassles, and the unit is compatible with Teac "UR" (Unified Remote) control devices. The W-600R weighs 8.5 pounds.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Malfunction: does not record) 『This is a decent looking unit for the price, but tape-to-tape record function did not work at all. I will NOT be replacing it with another of the same (fool me twice, shame on me).
Also, the Operating Instructions are incredibly vague / amateurishly composed.
Thank goodness for Amazon, who offered free return shipping and a full refund. 』
(not suggested) 『need amplifier or whatever other devices in order to have sound come out so tired of this kind of equipment.
copy function is also bad
this 100$ product is even worse than a 20$ product like sony TCM-150
I am sorry I have to say this.
However the seller's service is the best, 5 star.』
(Saved the day!) 『My Mom Luzetta is 85 years old. She has many favorite cassettes saved over many years. Her cassette player died several years ago. The rest of her component system was just perfect and she had mastered running it. So buying an entire new system was not an option. A very kind Radio Shack associate had nothing for us either. However, he jumped on his store computer, went to Amazon and bingo there was your player. With further help from the Radio Shack clerk, we hooked it up and she is back in business. The player is great!!! Solved all the problems for Mom. A happy story also of retailer helping retailer that benefited the customer. Thank you Amazon and Radio Shack.』
(Great value) 『This cassette player is great for the price. You can hardly find cassette players anymore. This plays my store bought cassettes and my recorded cassettes I did myself very well. I haven't tried all functions yet but I like what I hear.』
(Review v2.0) 『Prior reviewed under 04Wrangler blah blah.
Still running, recording strong. Is completely compatible with IR remote control! Any programmable will do but the Sony remotes require no code. FYI and cheers!-Mike』 『Sony's TC-WE475 Cassette Player/ Recorder is packed with features that enable a great listening and recording experience. Utilize our Dual auto reverse feature as you listen, and hear the difference that Dolby B and C noise reduction makes as it suppresses high frequency noise. Also featuring Dolby HX Pro circuitry, Auto Record Level, Multi-AMS track search, Relay Play, and Full-logic feather-touch transport controls, the TC-WE475 is a treasure.』 『Sony's TC-WE475 dual-well cassette player/recorder offers high quality and plenty of great features, including dual auto-reverse playback. When coupled with the deck's relay play feature, dual auto-reverse means you can enjoy up to three hours of continuous music from two 90-minute cassettes. One tape well plays, the other records. You can set the recording input level using a dedicated control or rely on Sony's auto level-setting feature to choose the most appropriate level for your tape (this works best on dynamically limited material such as pop music). Choose from normal- and high-speed dubbing: normal speed for higher fidelity, high speed for greater convenience.
Sony has built the deck with high-density Permalloy tape heads for long life. For noise reduction, the TC-WE475 is outfitted with both Dolby B, the encoding standard used on most prerecorded cassettes, and Dolby C, which buys you another 10 to 20 dB or so of noise reduction beyond that offered by Dolby B (around 10 dB). Use Dolby when recording and, if a tape has been recorded using Dolby, when listening.
Two other technologies specifically heighten the quality of your recordings. During loud level peaks, Dolby HX Pro dynamically adjusts the bias signal (a supersonic and basically sacrificial tone your deck uses to push distortion out of the audible range), effectively letting you record "hotter"--that is, louder on tape--without compressing the high-frequencies of your program material. Secondly, an onboard MPX filter blocks the 19 kHz multiplex pilot tone of FM stereo broadcasts for proper Dolby noise-reduction tracking when you record off the air.
Other features include full-logic, feather-touch transport controls and twin electronic tape counters (one for each deck), which come in handy when you're making a compilation from a variety of source tapes. If you have a Sony audio/video receiver, you can operate the deck from your receiver's remote control.

Onkyo
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Records Nicely, but , it's noisey!) 『I had a Teac recorder once that never made a sound when I pushed the record button. I have to say this one (Onkyo TARW255)is nothing like that one! This thing sounds like something is going to break inside. It clicks, jumps, and bumps like it's slipping or something. Other than that it records very nicely. It takes a while to get used to the eject button being on top of the cassette window. I'm used to all the buttons being on the bottom. It's hard to read the buttons too because they are not backlit or painted brightly. The unit also has a "standby" red light when you turn the unit off. It uses about 7W when it's in this mode. So if you don't want to use extra electricity or be bothered by a red light then you'll have to unplug it. No headphone or earphone jack. No remote but has a connector to connect a Onkyo stereo amp for use with that remote. It's made in Malaysia not Japan. Don't know how long it will last. Get an extended warranty when you buy it. Vann's has it online for less and a warranty for like $20 for 3 years.』
(DeckA doesn't work after a few monthes) 『I bought it, haven't used often. Yesterday, I found that the Deck "A" doesn't work, keep stopping. Now, it's over return period, don't want to spend shipping cost, just using the Deck "B" only. But, not sure when this deck is also going wrong. Very Bad player! don't buy.』
(review by MS) 『The tape counter seems to count in seconds and this is not very standard for these systems. The unit is nice for the price but I would have liked to see an ONKYO " INTEGRA" line quality.』
(Onkyo deck purchased for school music room) 『This deck was purchased for a general music classroom. It did not work out of the box but unfortunately was past the 30 day period when it was tested out. One would not expect a basic tape deck to not be able to play or record cassettes, but it appears to be a fairly common problem with a sensor in the unit. We are now trying to deal with a service center in another state and are out money for shipping on a brand new unit. Poor experience with Onkyo.』
(Deck player Onkyo TARW255) 『I love that thing. A bit noisy when the tape stops or gets to the end and going backwards but that sound! Combined with Onkyo TX-SR606... I love tapes! Would recommend? O YES !!』 『Onkyo Dual well Tape Deck TARW255』 『Dual autoreverse lets you copy both sides of a tape with the press of a button, or relay-play both sides of two tapes without interruption. The deck also includes Dolby B and C noise reduction to effectively eliminate tape hiss, auto-spacing to insert blank spaces between songs, high-speed dubbing, rec-level control, CD synchro recording, 8-segment peak level meters, an auto tape-bias selector, and a 4-digit electronic tape counter.
Key Technology Feature: RI (Remote Interactive):With Onkyo’s exclusive RI (Remote Interactive) system capability, you can integrate and operate all compatible components through a single remote control. What’s more, RI capability enables you to simply connect the iPod® to your receiver through Onkyo’s RI Dock for the iPod (DS-A1). Your iPod effectively becomes another Onkyo component from which you can relish a fuller sound that just can’t be experienced through headphones. RI capability will also give you remote operability of your iPod for hands-off control over your digital music.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (For tape to mp3) 『Bought this for tape to mp3 which it does an excellent job i think. I say this because i havent done comparisons. Its pretty so i think i'm keeping it with my other av for art and time to time listening. Fast shipping no cons for me so far. I'd give five stars but where do you go after that?』
(This Is the Best Deck Out There Today.) 『Its 2007 and this deck is still here. That in its self is amazing after a 5 or 6 year run.
This deck sounds excellent and today nothing else comes close in the tape world. The only deck I like better is the Pioneer's Elite CT-07D which has all the family looks. The Elite is no longer in production (cry'n shame) and used the same 20bit analogue/digital converter along with FLEX and BLE features and makes wonderful sounding tapes also.
The 606DR is sound, built well (never had a problem or issue) and even more important is available. New ones can be had for as little as $215+ shipping. If you are a tape hound...update you're old vintage deck and get the newest features and never look back.』
(Pioneer CT-W606DR) 『This cassette deck from Pioneer has very good sound quality when playing back professionally recorded tapes. The digital noise reduction circuit really cleans up the tape hiss and other sonic imperfections common to cassettes. Although, on some non-professional recordings or recordings that are severely detoriated it tends to add an edge to the hiss that it cannot fully remove. The unit that I used also had some reliability problems with the transport mecahanism. Pioneer was evidently unable to repair this altogether after a couple of trips to the repair shop. All in all, it is a very well performing product plagued by some annoying reliability concerns. It is the best sounding tape deck that I have used so far. Although, I am confident there are better ones out there.』
(Pioneer Tape Decks are UNRELIABLE) 『It took TWO dead ones, including CTW60RS - upscale from this, to realize Pioneer can't make a reliable tape deck. I would never buy anything made by Pioneer that has moving parts again. YMMV, but you've been warned.』
(The best cassette deck I've ever heard.) 『The sound quality on this cassette deck was far better than I expected. The digital noise reduction completely eliminates all the tape hiss without affecting the sound quality. Of all the tapes I've tried on it, all sound as good, if not better than they did on my old deck. There also is little difference in the sound quality when playing in forward or reverse mode, or from well to well. I use it to transfer my cassette collection to my computer to record on a CD-R, and the results are fantastic. And you can use it with a Pioneer remote control if you have a Pioneer receiver with the SR feature. About the only complaint I have is that it is kind of noisy when you first start to play, try to reverse, or wind the tape. The tape head goes up and down by a motor (I think) and makes a noise whenever it goes up or down. Otherwise great sound quality above what you'd expect from a cassette deck.』 『Pioneer's CT-W606DR Double Auto-Reverse Cassette Deck is for true audio aficionados. It easily performs normal or high-speed dubbing, 15-song music searches, even blank skips to save you time. The automatic tape selection feature picks the tape for you. You get Dolby digital noise reduction for faithful sound reproduction without interference, plus dual logic tape transports driven by two independent motors to cut noise even more. Pioneer's exclusive DPS (Digital Processing System) ensures you get crisp, clean sounds. Includes headphone output and Pioneer's SR in/out connection for easy system integration.』 『The Pioneer CT-W606DR dual auto-reverse cassette deck comes with Dolby B and C noise reduction and 20-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. Convenience features include CD deck synchro recording, +/- 15-song music search, and high-speed dubbing.
The CT-W606DR's honeycomb chassis includes a Dolby SR in/out connection, headphone output, twin motors, and multifunction display. This cassette deck is covered by a one-year parts and labor warranty.』
『Transfer Your Entire Music Collection to MP3s! TAPE2PC makes enjoying your old cassette collection easier than ever. This high quality dual well cassette deck has everything you'd want - tape to tape dubbing, noise reduction, adjustable record level and more. But what really sets TAPE2PC apart is its computer connectivity. TAPE2PC connects directly to your computer's USB jack and lets you digitize your music quickly and painlessly. Transfer your old cassette collection into your Mac or PC, then load your songs onto your iPod or other MP3 player or burn a CD. Comes with PC software that recognizes the tracks on most cassettes and automatically names your songs for you.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (rereview) 『The cassette deck is excellent, works exactly the way it should. Both the record and playback,it is used for our church services and is doing an excellent job. Thanks』
(Mixed Reaction) 『Product (Pyle Pro cassette deck) received in timely manner and in good condition.
Had a small problem re operation and contacted seller. NO RESPONSE FROM SELLER.
Subsequently I personally resolved the operating problem.』
(inexpensive and average) 『affordable. I don't understand the noise reduction. It's not documented very well. The B deck is not good for playing tapes because it hums. Seems to record fine. The "A" deck plays good. Good deck for typical use』
(I liked the dual deck video recorder) 『It was easy to install and to operate. I have already used it quite a few hours and am well pleased with the product. 』
(Not a good deal) 『Ordered this deck as a gift. Never heard of Pyle before. Now I know why. This deck looks cheap with its tacky blue graphics. Right out of the box, the power switch didn't work. It has a one-year limited warranty, BUT you have to send it to the manufacturer at your expense, and send $20 for return shipping. Why would anyone spend $30+ on shipping for an item that arrived defective? It's going back to Amazon, and I'll buy a brand I recognize and trust.』 『Pyle Audio offers a versatile collection of high-end audio systems. It started its legendary history long before anyone ever heard of sound-offs and competitions, long before anyone ever felt the thunder of a subwoofer on wheels. When it comes to car audio, Pyle is the name you can trust.PRODUCT FEATURES:Automatic Stop System;Normal and High Speed Dubbing;Dynamic Noise Reduction;Metal and CrO2 Tape Selector;3 Digit Tape Counter;LED Level Meters;Record Volume Level Control;S/N Ratio: 58dB;Dimensions: 16.53"W x 5.11"H x 8.66"D;Rack Mounting Hardware Included;110V/220V Switchable.』
『The TCWE475 dual cassette deck takes advantage of proven filters and noise reduction technology to help provide you with quality recordings from a variety of sources. For example, if you want to record from an FM stereo broadcast, you probably want to take advantage of the switchable MPX filter that blocks the multiplex pilot tone contained in an FM broadcast. This enables proper Dolby NR (noise reduction) tracking when you record off the air. For all other recording situations, switch the filter out for maximum high frequency response. Dolby B and C noise reduction suppresses high frequency noise to help optimize recording and playback. Create professional sounding fade-in and fade-out transitions with the Fader switch. Wide range pitch control allows you to adjust the pitch by controlling tape speed and automatic record level calibration simplifies operation and helps guarantee consistent quality. +PLUS+ SONY HEADPHONES』
