I originally wanted to install a multi-speaker theater system, but after researching the systems and determining my needs, the soundbar was the best way to go. (Excellent for my application.) 『I have four of these speakers being driven from a PC. I have two additional units used for temporary installations. While my principal application is not for music, I have utilized the two spare units for background music on special occations. The units have all performed superbly well, absolutely noise-free; no clicks, pops or beeps (and I am also using a wireless router, wireless phone and wireless cameras). The transmitter is centrally located on the first floor; two of the speakers are on the second floor, one on the first floor, and one in the basement. I have been using these units for almost a year, the only issue experienced was due to a lightning strike that took out 3 of the 4 adapters; the speaker units were undamaged, and I have since installed a whole house surge suppressor. For those who have complained about the transmitter cutting-out, I would suggest you need to check the input signal level to the transmitter. The transmitter is designed to shutdown four minutes after the input signal level drops below a set threshold. It will automatically restart after the input signal exceeds the threshold for two seconds. User recorded MP3 music files are notorious for inconsistant signal levels, which can result in some music selections producing an inadequate input signal level to the transmitter. Music selections with a low signal level can easily be improved by downloading one of the free audio editors and normalizing the offending music file. 』

(Worth the Money) 『I looked around for a long time looking at speakers until finally purchasing these speakers. My computer's speakers are really old ones that came bundled with a computer so they are pretty crappy. my original plan was to buy a less expensive 2.1 speaker system but these were not very much more money for some nice extras. After receiving them and hooking them up to my computer I was very pleased. I have a sound card capable of utilizing the surround sound and everything worked great. After a couple days I decided to use the included converter to hook up the speakers to my Playstation 3. These speakers are compatible with anything that has a red/white audio output so hooking them up to my playstation was no problem. After hooking them up I was extremely pleased and have them still hooked up that way right now. I play a small amount of games on my computer and music but I play a lot of games on my PS3 and can even play music through it also(everything is in the same room too) so I enjoy having these hooked up to my PS3 more since they are an improvement over my speakers built into my TV.
Now hooking it up this way with the red and white cables is only two channels, that means that there won't be true surround sound. Actually sound will only come out of the front speakers and sub woofer unless you turn on matrix mode when you are only receiving audio through the green cord. So my games aren't in true surround sound though I do hear the sound coming from all angles, which is nice.
Also these are no high end system or going to replace a true TV/home theater set up. But for a teenagers room, a college dorm, or just something cheap these are great speakers to have.
Also I have had no problems with the speakers malfunctioning, no humming or crackling and they are plenty loud.
Overall great speakers for this price range and are definitely speakers to consider if you're on a budget.』

I was pleasantly surprised when I had these Polk RC60i speakers installed and hooked up to my AVR. Now, although they are rated for 20-100 watts per channel per the Polk Audio website, my AVR pushes 140 WPC @ 8 ohms and the RC60i's handled the extra power flawlessly. Before I had the entire 7.1 system installed, I ran a pair of these as the fronts and was able to turn the volume up quite loudly without any audible distortion.
Installation was easy (I bought a drywall "circle cutting" tool from Lowes that made things a LOT easier). The most important steps occur BEFORE you cut the drywall. Plan and mark your speaker locations using the templates as guides. Then, drill a small pilot hole in the middle of your circle and then use a stiff wire bent at a 90 degree angle (an old wire hanger works well), make sure the arms are slightly longer than the radius of the speaker, insert one arm into the hole and "sweep" around in a circle to make sure you clear any unseen obstructions behind the drywall. The only other difficult part is pulling the speaker wire. Thankfully, the cutout gives you more than enough room to stick your arm into the wall to help you fish.
All in all, great Polk sound at a good price. What's not to like?』

(good speakers, cheap price) 『These speakers are a great value at around 100 dollars. They work great and sound amazing for small speakers. The sub is has its own volume control and I have yet to turn it past a quarter of the way up because the thumping, clear base shakes the house fairly well. The only issues with this system are minor. First the speaker wire is only about a 24 gauge, which for small rooms is perfectly fine. On a positive note there is 100ft of this wire included. The only other minor problem is they are 6 ohm speakers. Most receivers will have an option for running this so it's a fairly simple fix. So this is a perfect set for people on a budget but in want of great surround sound for a small to medium sized room. These would even work well in a large room as long as you aren't trying to blast the speaker volume loud enough to wake the neighbors.』
