(Very Happy with Mac Mini)
『I have lots of Mac computers, both the ones I am in charge of at work, and my own at home.

This 2.53ghz Mac Mini is my desktop at work, pushing to the side a MacBook Pro 15" 2.2 ghz

Why?

I was using the MacBook Pro mostly as a desktop, driving a 24" monitor, and using the 15" MBP as the secondary monitor.

I do a lot of spreadsheet work, and decided the Mac Mini's ability to drive two 24" monitors simultaneously would be a big help.

And it sure is.

I'm now running a Dell LED 24" and an HP that offers pivot for when I need to view all of a really long document.

I am very happy with the purchase. Even tho the Mini sits about 2 feet from my ears, I can't hear it run.』

(Great, Great Little Box)
『First of all my credentials, I have been writing Mac software since 1992. I've had on my various desks a Mac Plus, Performa 605, PowerBook 100, several iBooks, PowerBook G4s, MacBook, PowerMacs 7600, 8100, G3, G4 and G5, a couple recent generation iMacs and a previous generation Mac Mini. I have seen Macs come and go, and I just love this little desktop. It is exactly what I need for compiling a large desktop application using Apple's development tools. What I need is a reasonably fast processor, Firewire, 4GB of RAM and multiple monitor support. I do not need a huge box filled with disks. I do not need some super fast GPU. I do not need PCI cards. If I did, then yeah, a Mac Pro would be sitting under my desk sucking up the Watts.

My company has also provided me with a monstrous, fully loaded, Dell whose case could hold upwards of 30 Mac Mini's. In the one processor intensive task I do--doing a full rebuild of a large C++ application--the Xenon processor and desktop hard drives in the Dell can complete the task in 6 minutes while the Core 2 Duo processor and laptop drives in the Mini can do the task in 13 minutes. If I were doing that task many times a day (as opposed to several times a week) then I would need to move up to a high end iMac or Mac Pro; but I don't and I can live with the more typical single change, compile, link time of 14 seconds on the Mini versus a very erratic 6 seconds on the Dell (for whatever reason Visual Studio on the PC will sometimes take over a minute to do this).

Why is this Mac Mini a better value then the MC238LL/A at the lower price? Because it adds more RAM, a larger hard drive, and a slightly faster CPU, and I don't have to pop it open to max it out. All three things together make it worth the extra dough. If you are just going to use it for a home theatre PC, as many people do, then added expense is probably not worth it and you should go with the lesser model.

Why would you choose this over a current generation iMac? The iMacs are great machines, and can be ordered as quite the powerhouses with i5 or i7 processors, and with desktop level graphics engines, but they might be overkill and in the long run it may not make sense to be ordering machines where you can't reuse the previous machine's monitor. If you have a monitor already, the Mini will be several hundred dollars cheaper. Also, if the monitor has multiple inputs, the Mini bought today can be retired as a home server in a couple years with the Mini of the future stacked upon it sharing the same monitor. While the newest iMacs do allow there use as an external Display Port monitor, its still a bit inflexible tying the computer to the display. Having said this, I like the iMac too, and if you need a monitor and have the room, it may be the way to go.

Why is this Mac Mini much better than previous Mac Minis? The Mini has had several value adding changes over the last couple years: going from PowerPC to Intel, adding multiple monitor support, adding FireWire 800 support, and getting a decent GPU in the NVidia 9400M. This is a real computer. Not some dinky Ion laptop. It can do computationally intensive things, like in my case compiling hundreds of thousands of lines of C++ code. And yet it is tiny, and quiet.

So, yeah, I like this box.

Anyway, installation could hardly be simpler. Pop it out of the box, plug in a keyboard and mouse. It comes with a mini-DVI to DVI adaptor which will connect to any modern monitor, and you can get a mini-Display Port adaptor separately to add multiple monitor support. Power it up and you will soon be computing. It's nice, fast and quiet. Plenty of USB ports (5). Add up whatever peripherals you need: speakers, external hard drives (look at getting drives with Firewire 800, they are much faster and reliable than USB 2.0).

My wife has an older Mac Mini which she runs Windows Vista in Boot Camp mode and has done so without problem for over a year. I would think this Mini would be even better as a Windows 7 box with the much improved graphics chips allowing for better use of the Aero interface.』

(Finally a good value)
『The previous dual-display-support Mac mini was introduced on 3/3/09. It's been just half year and it is updated already. Considering that the previous model are essentially identical (2.0GHz) and the 2.25GHz 'custom made' model was a $200 option, this is a nice upgrade. With the previous version, the value was in the entry-level model ($599), because the $799 model packs in useless 1GB x 2 and 320GB hard drive, which is practically worthless nowadays, it made sense to buy the entry model and put in the RAM and hard drive.

Now the differences are:

160GB vs 320GB
2GB (1GB x 2) vs 4GB (2GB x 2)
processor is 2.53 vs. 2.25GHz

160GB is all over my floor anyway, so it's valued at $0.
320GB should be valued at $60

2GB (1GB x 2) = $0, because 1GB modules are all over the floor and worthless.
4GB (2GB x 2) = $80 and on the rise.

When the actual price difference of $200 and the value difference of $140 tossed into the washer, $60 come out of the wash.

This means the 2.53GHz vs 2.25GHz difference is valued at $60. As the added speed is translated into productivity, this $60 difference is well worth it.』

『Theres nothing like Mac mini. At just 6.5 inches square and 2 inches tall, its designed to take up far less room and use far less energy than any other desktop computer. Mac mini was engineered to fit a lot of computer into a little space. Its powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, with advanced NVIDIA graphics and fast DDR3 memory. Theres plenty of storage space up to 500GB1 for just about anything. And it comes with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, the worlds most advanced operating system. Who knew something so small could be so huge? Mac Mini- 2.53GHz/ 320GB HD plus NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter 110W power adapter and power cord Install/restore DVDs Printed and electronic documentation』
『Upgraded with a faster 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Apple's innovative Mac mini desktop is a great choice for home computing tasks and creating a digital media hub. It fits everything that makes a Mac a Mac inside an elegant 2-inch-tall, 6.5-inch square--just add your own keyboard, mouse, and display. The Mac mini also includes excellent video processing power from the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics chip, an ultra-fast FireWire 800 port, and dual video outputs--a Mini DisplayPort and a Mini-DVI port.

(Wonderful Machine - Great Value)
『Gotta love what Apple has done with regard to price / value / performance - This machine ROCKS!

Perfect size / fit ..... Unreal in a word for the wide-screen monitor / clarity / colors - gosh it is a sight to see ..... A pleasure to sit at - work / play .....

The Magic Mouse is a joy to use - very easy to get spoiled with this guy .....

Mine runs just fine with the 4 gig of ram - entry level model but then I'm not a heavy graphics user but I do editing in Photoshop Elements and it runs a lot faster than my four year old white 20" iMac which still runs fine - giving that machine to my Granddaughter ....

(Elegant and powerful, it simply works)
『I've been a PC users since the PCXT days. Now I have a mac. I really have been suprised at how easy it is to learn the mac way of doing things.

I'm a programmer by trade (not a desktop coder, but mainframe/database) and I actually decided to buy the iMac because of my desire to create apps for my iPhone. I was shocked to learn that I could keep my windows environment. I could have both worlds.

So far, everything has been very easy to install and use. I had the windows/vmware setup and the iPhone SDK install the first day. Coming from a PC, I'm delighted at how elegant the interface is, even the mouse and keyboard are elegant. The screen is very nice. Colors seem very good, but I haven't done any photo editing and color correction/matching (so you'll have to get the pros opinion on that one).

Windows runs very well on it and I've had no problems with it.

I can't see changing back to a PC for my uses (not a gamer). This iMac was the best value IMO, compared to the other mac's and macbooks. Even compared to the new mac mini (if you add in the additional cost of a good monitor, bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse, the mini was closing in on the iMac price). I'd recommend this iMac for any deveoper to use as a base system. Power seems more than sufficient add to that the capability to run windows as well and you have one of the best values in a development system I've seen.

All this and lets face it the mac experience is very pleasant, and it doesn't hurt to expand your development into the mac arena.

After one week, I'm already a satified mac user.

I'll update after a year or so of use and abuse.』

(Ny first iMac!)
『I am very impressed with my new 21.5 iMac. I have come over from the PC side and plan to never return! I like the simplicity of the Mac. It runs several programs at once without even a hint of slowing down. The graphics are awesome as well. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.』

(Worthy replacement for the 20" AND the 24")
『The trouble began when the aluminum-bodied 20" iMac replaced the white polycarbonate 20" iMac. Not only does it have a highly-reflective (albeit high-quality, very plane) glass, it has a TN screen that is 6-bit per channel. The TN screen found in the 20" iMac was inferior to the IPS panel found in the 24". Those who demand image quality had two choices: buy the 24" iMac or buy the 20", turn it toward the wall and make the wallpaper white so it lights up the user environment, and buy a quality IPS screen. This back-to-back solution may seem funny, but it does work. The TN screen displays different colors at different viewing angles (Unless the user moves his/her eyes directly over the pixel, the viewing angle variation relative to the pixel position causes the color to vary greatly.

The 21.5" is a major leap forward, because the entry-level iMac has the same GHz rating as the old top-of-the-line model, has a new two-AA bluetooth keyboard, and a wireless mouse. These are the added value that used to be extra before, and the Magic Mouse wasn't even available.

With the new 21.5", the users no longer have to choose a larger screen simply for better image/color quality. The glass, however, continues to be highly reflective and uncoated (no anti-reflective coating, as you may find on camera lenses, MacBook Air, and even Audi TT's speedometer/Tachometer).

Those who do not use the numeric keypad would definitely welcome the small-footprint wireless keyboard. It allows the user to bring the mouse closer to the keyboard and reduce wrist, forearm, and shoulder stress.

The Magic Mouse has finally done away with the problem-prone scroll ball found in the Mighty Mouse. I wish the top surface of this mouse were more matte/velvety than the glossy surface it is. The glossy surface is nothing more than cosmetic. Imagine if the trackpad on all the Mac portables turn glossy. I am sure there would be plenty of complaints. The glossy surface on the predecessor was OK because the fingers didn't have to glide over the glossy surface. Although the glossy surface is not a problem for me, because I don't use a mouse at all (Kensington Expert Mouse and WACOM, please), those with sweaty fingers would find it problematic.

Those familiar with the round iMac mouse will find this familiar: Its symmetrical shape lets the user easily lose orientation, because there is not a cord attached to it. As a result, the user must look at the logo first to identify which direction is supposed to be pointing up.

The integrated nVidia 9400M is more than good enough for casual users. Those who may need 3D or gaming capabilities should choose the other models with independent video cards.

NOW, THE $500 QUESTION. How does this screen compare to the 24" in physical dimension? This screen has 1920 pixels across, which is the same as the 24". The 21.5" is 18.7" wide, which is slightly narrower than the 20.25" width found on the 24". This means the 21.5" has higher pixel density. What about the height? 12.75" for the 24" iMac and 10.5" for the 21.5" iMac.

I forgot to mention that in the past, the power switch has a different shiny surface (while the entire back is matte) and has a concave surface. However, this one is perfectly flush to the back and is very difficult to detect. It takes some poking around. Another thing: they new wireless keyboard is noticeably noisier than the USB or previous three-AA aluminum wireless keyboard. Apparently the mechanism is not the same as the other aluminum keyboards.』

『Updated with a brilliant 21.5-inch LED-backlit widescreen display in a new edge-to-edge glass design and seamless all aluminum enclosure, the new Apple iMac is ideal for watching high definition movies and TV shows from iTunes, or editing and watching your own videos or photos using iLife. The iMac now also comes standard with a wireless keyboard and the new Magic Mouse, which features Apple's Multi-Touch technology. (Great with my Sony HD set)
『I bought this to be a media center for my 52" Sony HD LCD set. My media is stored on a NAS device and includes movies, TV shows, photos, home video, etc. The Mini with Front Row does a good job of giving the family a dead-simple way of accessing all of this content. Plus we can do some fun things like create music using Garage Band and play it through the surround sound system. The Apple TV is cheap but also very limited. With a little knowledge the Mini provides a very flexible alternative. Video and sound (using the mini TOS cable) are outstanding. Not seeing any stutter or delays. I run mine without a keyboard or a mouse. On the rare occasion when I want one I just use the Mobile Air Mouse on my iPhone as a combination keyboard and mouse.』

(Folders drive you crazy)

A problem with the 1gb Imac and the Mac Mini (but not the Macbook, I am told) is folders.

You set your folder with small icons, hiding the toolbar. You come back later, the toolbar is back, the icons are now large, falling all over each other like poker chips -- or, your icons have turned into a list.

You patiently put it back the way you had it, and you click the button that says "Always open in icon view."

You come back later -- the folder has gone crazy again. The toolbar is back, the icons have become a list, the icons are too big -- something.

You end up sighing ten times a day as you use the computer.

Very annoying.』

(My First Mac)
『This is my first Mac so i can not compare it to others but I do like it. I have been a long time HP man and have been having problems with the HP I have right know. I had my HP custom built from HP a year and a half ago with all the highest performance parts and spent quite a bit on it. It has had a problem from the first week where it runs really slow one day every one or two weeks and none of the programs will respond, I believe it has something to do with a bad install from the factory and I am working with HP to get it fixed. For the amount I spent and the fact that it is not out of date performance wise I am not ready to give up on it and spend big money on another one. I figured I would invest in something cheaper and just use it for my web browsing and leave all my financing, gaming and music to the HP.

As far as the Mac goes I a impressed with it. I like how fast it starts, shuts down and comes out of sleep. The size is really nice since it doesn't take up alot of desk space. The 2GB of memory seems to work good but I will probably upgrade to 4GB in the next few weeks. I like the dashboard more than I liked the sidebar on vista and Snow Leopard more than Vista performance wise. The built in speaker is nice which I didn't realize it had before buying, I didn't really want to have to sets of speakers or switch back and forth between them. The speaker isn't much maybe about like laptop speakers but better than my Samsung netbooks speakers. Some of the thing I didn't like are Safari which was and easy fix with installing Firefox. I didn't give Safari much time since I have heard its security isn't any good and I couldn't get it to maximize to the full wide screen it was just square and had about 2 or 3 inches of open screen on the sides. Probably the only other problem I have found is I don't feel like I can multitask my web browsing like Microsoft. I like to have 3 or 4 Firefox windows opened and have a couple of tabs in each one when I am researching stuff and they are not all spread out on the Mac making it easy to switch from on the the other, instead you have to minimize them to switch. That my be something that can be changed but I have only had this for a couple of days and haven't figured it out. I had a spare Kensington SlimBlade keyboard and mouse that I hooked up to it. I didn't care for the mouse it just seemed to bulky and had bad response so I hooked up a spare Microsoft Arc mouse, which has to be one of my favorite mice. I have both it and the HP hooked up to a Samsung T220 with the HP using the DVI port and the Mac using the VGA port, and just switch back and forth with the source button.

I have not gave up on Microsoft yet either, I have a copy of Windows 7 that I had installed for about a half a day using the upgrade option and had the same problems with it as Vista. It started acting up a couple hours after being installed so I had a chance to test it out and liked it way more than Vista. HP told me to recover my computer to see if that would fix it and I am waiting for it to act up again to contact HP and let them inspect it. I purchased the in home protection plan with HP and they have been really helpful. The DVD-RW went out and they sent a guy that week to replace it at no cost, and the slow running problem they have spent over an hour on the phone with me with no rush to get off.

If you are trying to figure out if the Mini Mac has the performance to run some games or other stuff this is not a review for you. I may try to play some games or start doing my quickbooks on it but like I said I will leave the most of that to the HP. If you are wanting to give Mac a chance without spending alot of money then this is a good choice. Im not a big fan of the all in one PC's so I don't really ever see an IMac being something for me and the desktop mac towers are way more than I would want to spend on a Mac. The Mac notebooks seem to be overpriced since trying to get a decent sized screen cost over $2000. I don't know what the life expectancy is on the mini mac personally but I have read it will last until it is out of date. I just think Macs have been overpriced and are finally reaching a point of lowering their price so in another couple of years they will have something other than the Mini that will be at a decent price. I have never had any problems with viruses on anything running Windows since I run good virus protection and have never had any personal information stolen. There have been times I've done a recovery if I did feel I had a virus just to make sure, but nothing that has ever ruined one of my systems. So either way with a PC or Mac I feel you get the same life out of it which is a year and its out of date and a couple of years and it just can't run the modern programs. Technology moves to fast which is not a bad thing but after a year there is something twice as good as what you have pretty much. I figure three years is my limit and then its time for something new. Just figure up how long you plan on keeping it 1,2,3,4 years and the price as for this I look at about two years which will cost me about .82 cents a day and I spend over a $1 a day on my internet why not have a computer that is that much. As for the HP its about $2.30 a day which is something I think is worth the money. Dishnetwork cost me about $3 a day I spend way more time on the computer then watching TV and there seems to be more to do on here than what there is to watch on TV. Thats just for the Dishnetwork not including what you spent on the TV to watch it.

I hope this helps you decide and I realize I began to ramble. I am happy with my Mini Mac and plan to use it regularly. Sorry if my review has to much Microsoft stuff for you but I am a technology nut and like the Mac and Microsoft worlds both in their on ways. I am also sorry if I had a sentence run on to long, used a comma where I shouldn't have, used bad grammar, paragraphed my review wrong and if reading this gave you a headache. I am aware that I have that problem and try to make it look as good a possible but I was not the smartest kid in my English class. I just know and like electronics and technology and was probably the top of the class on that. I like to research it and try what I think is best.』

(The Mac mini is a great little computer for the money.)
『I have always used macs because they have the most sophisticated and user friendly operating system available. The problem is that most of their stuff is overpriced. One exception is the mac mini which gives you a lot of computer for the money. It is all the computer that most people will ever need. Now that the latest model takes up to 4 GB of ram, it is even a better. It's compact size is also a plus. I don't like the i-mac and the Mac pro is too much computer for most people. It would be nice if Apple would come out with a mini tower as an alternative to the i-mac. Also I would like to see Apple produce a net book for 300 or 400 dollars. As it stands right now if want a net book then you have to put up with an inferior Windows operating system. Of course Apple is making a lot money selling a bunch of overpriced toys that in a few years will be obsolete. In contrast the mac mini is a good solid value.』

(Excellent product)
『This is my second Mac Mini. I bought my first Mac Mini when they were first introduced. I have been using that same Mac mini for about 5 years with no problems. I finally decided to get a new one because more and more of the internet features wouldn't work anymore because I needed software upgrades that didn't fit the specs I had. However, I didn't want to make the same mistake I made the first time and buy it right before a software upgrade. This is the perfect time to buy this Mac Mini. Snow Leopard is pre-installed, and there's roughly about $150 worth of extra memory and speed for the same price as the previous model that was just released about 6 months ago.

One complaint I did have with my old Mac mini was that it was a pain to configure my internet connection. The internet setup for this new model is simply plug and play. Absolutely no configuration is needed if your plugging in an Ethernet cable, whether it's hooked up to a router or not.

I basically only use my Mac Mini for the Internet, downloading music and video for my Ipod, digital picture storage, and occasionally typing and printing a paper. If that's all your going to use it for and your sick of all the viruses and hidden internet files that slow down your computer when you use a PC, then buy this entry level Mac Mini.』

Key Features

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
Experience improved energy efficiency and improved multitasking with the 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, which also offers an ultra-fast 1066 MHz front-side bus (FSB) and a large 3 MB L2 cache. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)

The hafnium-infused circuitry--which reduces electrical current leakage in transistors--conserves even more energy. With a substantial 3 MB of shared L2 cache, data and instructions can be kept close to the two processor cores, greatly increasing performance and allowing the entire system to work more efficiently. And, because the processor cores share the L2 cache, either can use the entire amount if the other happens to be idle.

Graphics Processor
The Mac mini features the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics processor for up to five times better graphics performance than its predecessor, and its dual display support can drive two Apple or third-party displays with Mini DisplayPort or DVI connections. The NVIDIA GeForce 9400M shares 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM with main memory. You'll notice the difference when you work with high-resolution photos and high-definition video, where graphics-intensive features in iPhoto and iMovie are smoother. And 3D game play--from Spore to Call of Duty--is faster and more responsive.

Wireless Connectivity
The built-in 802.11n wireless networking provides up to five times the performance and twice the range of 802.11g, but it's also backward-compatible with 802.11a/b/g routers, enabling you to communicate with the a wide variety of Wi-Fi resources. It works seamlessly with the new AirPort Extreme with 802.11n. Use the built-in Bluetooth wireless technology to connect to your PDA or cell phone, synchronize addresses, or download pictures from your cell phone. You can also use a wireless headset for iChat audio chats and VoIP calls as well as quickly share files with a colleague.

Environmentally Friendly Design

Because Apple designs both hardware and software, we can reduce our environmental footprint in ways others can't. For starters, a highly efficient power supply reduces the amount of power wasted when bringing electricity from the wall to your Mac. Unlike a lot of PCs, a Mac uses energy-efficient hardware components that work hand in hand with the operating system to conserve power--even between keystrokes.

A Mac also doesn't contain a lot of toxic materials. All Mac displays are mercury and arsenic free, and the internal components are free of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and brominated flame retardants (BFRs).

Efficient Power Supply
Mac mini includes a highly efficient power supply that reduces the amount of power wasted when bringing electricity from the wall to your computer. Lower power consumption reduces energy bills and lessens the environmental impact of greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.

Advanced Power Management
Unlike a lot of Windows-based PC systems, Mac mini uses energy-efficient hardware components that work hand in hand with the operating system to conserve power. Mac OS X spins down hard drives and activates sleep mode. And it balances tasks across both central processors and graphics processors. Mac OS X never misses a power-saving opportunity, no matter how small. It even regulates the processor between keystrokes, reducing power between the letters you type. That's just one of many ways Apple manages small amounts of power that add up to big savings.

Mac mini is a great example of Apple's energy-efficient design philosophy. It uses less than 14 watts of power when idle--that's something no other desktop computer can do.2

ENERGY STAR Qualification
Mac mini meets the stringent low power requirements set by the EPA, giving it ENERGY STAR qualification. ENERGY STAR 5.0 sets significantly higher efficiency limits for power supplies and aggressive limits for the computer's typical annual power consumption.

Big, Beautiful Display Combined with All-In-One Simplicity

The evolution of the Apple iMac.
The new iMac has come a long way from the first 15-inch iMac. The all-in-one design of the first flat-panel iMac cleaned up the desktop, and put everything you need--display, processor, graphics card, hard drive, optical drive, memory, and more--inside one simple enclosure. New technology inside and out makes the new iMac a worthy addition to the all-in-one dynasty.

This 21.5-inch model features an edge-to-edge glass display that covers nearly the entire front of the enclosure. When all you see is the display, nothing gets between you and what's onscreen. Movies, TV shows, websites, photos--everything looks stunning on the new 16:9 widescreen iMac display. And the LED backlighting in the new iMac helps push more light through the pixels with remarkable brightness and efficiency. And because the LED backlight doesn't take up much space, the iMac enclosure stays thin--even with all the high-performance components inside.

The iMac display is designed to look great from almost any angle. A technology called in-plane switching (IPS) makes this possible. Whether you're sitting in front of the display or standing off to the side, you'll get a perfect picture with superb color consistency and no loss of detail.

The wider iMac display allows more room to separate the two hottest components, the CPU and the GPU. This keeps things cool inside the iMac enclosure. Apple engineers also implemented an intelligent control system that monitors temperatures and delivers just the right amount of airflow to critical components. And the three fans inside iMac have been tuned to be ultraquiet.

While you'll find a collection of ports on the back of iMac, you won't find much else. A seamless, precision-forged enclosure makes the back one continuous aluminum surface. And there's only one cord: the power cord.

Wireless Magic Mouse and Keyboard
Forget the mouse as you know it. Every iMac comes with the wireless Magic Mouse: the world's first Multi-Touch mouse. Use it once and you'll wonder how you ever used anything else. There's no scroll ball, no clunky wheel, no cord, and no visible button. Instead, the Magic Mouse uses Multi-Touch technology to let you control everything with simple gestures. Give them a try and you'll find that Magic Mouse changes the way you interact with your computer. Built-in software lets you configure Magic Mouse any way you want. Its smooth, seamless design is ambidextrous, and it supports two-button clicking--without buttons.

The iMac banishes desktop clutter completely with a wireless keyboard to go with the wireless Magic Mouse. This low-profile keyboard takes up less desk space--24 percent less--than larger keyboards. There's no numeric keypad, so you can place your mouse comfortably next to the keyboard. And built-in Bluetooth means there are no cables to connect.

Built-in Wi-Fi
High-speed 802.11n wireless technology is built into iMac. And with Time Capsule or the AirPort Express Base Station, every computer in every room can wirelessly connect to iMac, the Internet, and each other. Over this network, everyone can print, surf the web, and play music on iTunes through your home stereo--wirelessly.

iSight Webcam
Hidden behind the glass display at the top of iMac is an iSight camera. Use it with iChat, and you can be anywhere without actually being there. Video chat with up to three of your friends, share a video with a colleague, or present to a client. Use iSight with Photo Booth for fun photo effects. And there's no need to waste valuable primping time installing software or configuring the camera.

(how is this a Windows 7 computer?)
『I don't understand what this computer is doing in the "Windows 7 Desktops" category -- it's running Windows XP.

I don't want to buy a box that will "probably" run 7; I want it from the manufacturer that way.

I'd buy one RIGHT NOW, if Amazon carried a config with Windows 7. (yes, I understand all the caveats around this box's perf. My scenario is all about light web browsing&music playback. I'll be super excited to have this in our kitchen as (among other things) a Play To target.

I'm happy to write a nicer review, if Amazon lists an actual Windows 7 version (and I order it, and it works.)』

『This is a steel. So many people buy computers with a lot of extra stuff they dont need. This is priced great and will do any web surfing, Word processing and email for far less money. I watch netflix on demand and it works great. I added 1 gig more memory just for good measure and boosted the internet explorer priority in the processes screen and hulu is very watchable as well as the network tv websites. Add a wireless keyboard like i did and compute from the couch on your big screen tv. Its a great computer for an even better price』

(So far, so good)
『I purchased the Aspire Revo R1600 for the sole purpose of replacing my original Xbox running XBMC. It appears to be very capable and has met all of the expectations I had. Hardware accelerated graphics on XBMC Live via VDPAU is working great. Content that used to choke the original Xbox and even the AppleTV running XBMC works flawlessly on the R1600. I did swap out the single stick of memory for a matched pair of SODIMMs but I actually installed slower DDR2-667 memory instead of the DDR2-800 that originally came with it because that's what I had lying around. PassMark performance tests showed a single module of the DDR2-667 to be almost exactly the same speed as the stock DDR2-800 and the two DDR2-667's definitely blew the single -800 away.

PassMark scores are actually lower on Windows 7 than they were on the default XP build but Windows 7 is much snappier than XP. I am using the 512 MB video memory setting in BIOS to boost the video performance but you wouldn't want to do that if you only had 1GB RAM installed.

The only complaint I have is that the box is so new Acer doesn't have any documentation online and the VESA monitor mount is nowhere to be found. I'd buy one if someone had them for sale but Acer doesn't even list them on their website so I don't even have a part number.

The R3600 / R3610 comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse but the mouse and keyboard included with the R1600 are very small and unobtrusive. I currently have the box configured to boot off a 4gb usb thumb drive straight into XBMC Live and only have a IR receiver attached - keyboard and mouse stored in a drawer just in case. The article on lifehacker sums things up pretty well - you almost don't need to dig through the xbmc or avsforums threads to get things up and running.

Size-wise the R1600 is thinner and lighter than the AppleTV. The pictures are deceptive because the keyboard and mouse, while smaller than "normal" are also angled oddly in the picture. The keyboard is actually about four inches wider than the R1600.

The case comes apart easily after removing a single screw on one side - just fit your fingers in the groove between the light and dark colored plastic pieces and gently pull, working your way around each of the sides until the side comes off. An integrated IR port would have been nice but for $199 I'm not going to complain.

(Second W7MC HTPC plus soooo much more)
『This is my third Nvidia Ion setup and I am rather suprised. My other two setups are Atom 330s (which does run a bit faster) not Atom 230s so I was a little apprehensive. I purchased this unit as a second HTPC to hook to a 1080i/720p 36" LCD in our loft. My main HTPC has all of the music, recorded tv, and movies on it's hard drives. I purchased this unit to stream video to over my Home Group (Windows 7 lingo for your secure home network). To start I registered the unit and upgraded it to Windows 7 Home x64 with one of my upgrades from a family pack. This can be easily done by copying the setup disk to an external hard drive and making the drive active. Then just change the bootup options in the BIOS (DEL key) to "Boot from USB" and the rest is a snap. Don't forget to switch it back after your it's first restart. There are detailed instructions on the web if you need help. I upgraded the memory to 2gb for $18 which again was very easy. I really had to search to determine the memory setup out of the box for this unit. It comes with 1gb (all on one SODIMM card) of PC2 DDR2 800 memory. So the upgrade was just an additional 1gb SODIMM card. It took 5 minutes. I also changed the BIOS setting to use 512k of the memory for the GPU instead of 256k. While in the BIOS I set my computer to automatically bootup at 7:00 am. This is one of the big advantages of using an Ion setup, it uses so little power (less than 30 watts) so that you can leave it on all day. Of course, it drops into sleep mode (SP3) when not in use and I turn it off myself at night. I also added a 1gb flash drive and set it up to be used as a FAT32 Ready Boost drive for caching. Just helps it to run a little faster. So my total setup to a Windows 7 Media Center was about $80 and well worth it. It works great on my TV and streams all my content easily over my Gigabit wired home network. With the coming release of Flash 10.1 this system will have no problem with web based HD also. I didn't try 32 bit Windows 7 so I can't say much about it. And this system has to have the extra 1gb to run 64 bit. It is realllllllly slow without it. I did also order a media center remote control for $25 which works great. Get an external DVD drive (or Blu-ray drive), an external data source, and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo (I was perfectly fine with the wired version it comes with since my kids will trash it anyway)and you have a very good computer for very little money. These systems have no problem with web surfing or MS Office 2007 so they make great kid/dorm computers. Also, I have no problems with the HDMI output to a Visio LCD. Enjoy!』

(Lack of HDMI AUDIO Support with all LCD TV'S)
『Was excited to set this machine up with the sole purpose of being an HTPC. Inside the packaging it comes with a supplemental instruction page explaining how to change the AUDIO OUT from realtek to nvidia HD sound.

HOWEVER, this option was not visible when plugged into our Philips 52" Display.

A call to acer was a waste of an hour which resulted in a call routed overseas and was of no help.
A call to nvidia went to level 2 tech support and they had no idea either.

after searching around the internet for "nvidia no HDMI audio support" I learned this was a common problem, especially with Philips TVs.

Then, in the driver release for nvidia's ion LE version 191.07 (page 25) I found this excerpt

Using HDMI/DisplayPort Displays that do not Support Audio
Some HDMI/DisplayPort displays do not support audio, or have issues with current
NVIDIA graphics cards.
The NVIDIA driver attempts to identify such displays and automatically disables the
audio. For example, the NVIDIA driver disables HMDI audio for all Philips HDMI
TVs, as these have been identified as having issues with current NVIDIA graphics
cards.
There may be cases where either the driver disables audio even though there is no
problem, or does not disable the audio when in fact the audio does not work. The
following sections describe these situations and provides guidance for handling them.

Nvidia is aware of this problem enough to print this in a driver release but not enough to know over the phone or find a solution.

It would have been nice for Nvidia not to block philips tv's and let you try it for yourself. This EXACT TV works perfectly with an e-machines using an ATI board so it's 100% not the TV that is not working.

It is with this that I caution anyone looking to purchase this machine to be used as an HTPC to make sure your exact TV will support HDMI Audio Out with the nvidia board.

***UPDATE***
I purchased a Pioneer VSX-819 Receiver to run the audio from the HTPC to the TV and it works. If anyone has an issue with their TV, spending a few hundred extra gets you a work around.』

(A Beauty!)
『I upgraded from the 24" iMac to this 27". Let me give just a few of my impressions:

The screen has gone up in size by 3 inches but, perhaps more importantly, has changed in perspective from 16x10 to 16x9. This means that the monitor is significantly wider than the 24"--more than you would expect based on merely the 3" addition in monitor size. This thing is MASSIVE in its width and in the comparison of width to height. The resolution has changed significantly, going from 1920x1200 to 2560x1440. This leads to small text on the screen--not ideal for older eyes but a treat to those of us who want to maximize our use of screen real estate.

The new iMac ships with a new version of the wireless keyboard (which uses only 2 batteries instead of 3) and the new Magic Mouse. The keyboard has a great feel to it (very good tactile feedback) but lacks the numeric keypad, the extra delete key, and so on. After two days I reverted back to the old wired, full-sized keyboard. I just found myself missing those extra keys too much. I may try the wireless again, though, just because it is so nice to be completely wireless and to take up less desk space with keyboard and cables. The Magic Mouse takes a little getting used to but is a very nice little gadget. I have had trouble consistently right-clicking (I just don't move my finger far enough to the right) but beyond that have found it very easy to use. For now it has fairly limited functionality but I expect that to change as time goes on. I'm sure it won't be long before software allows the mouse to perform many other functions.

In terms of hardware, the new iMac is a bit beefier than its predecessor. The hard drive is a nice, big 1 TB and there are now four GB of RAM standard with the ability to add more without removing what is already there. In previous iMacs you had to completely replace the existing RAM--now you can add to it, saving a few bucks along the way. The processor keeps things moving well, though I don't notice any really obvious speed increases. The same is true of the standard video card. It gets the job done and runs The Sims 3 in full resolution without any real problems.

Overall, this is a very sweet computer and a good upgrade from older iMacs. I wouldn't recommend moving from the 24" for the time being (just not worth it for most of us) but would recommend this to anyone in the market for a solid desktop PC.』

(Not for everyone, but definitely a solid performer.)
『Apple's latest entry in the iMac line is stunning - simply stunning. Not just in the way that it looks and performs, but also because it finally adds nearly of all the improvements that iMac users have been clamoring for.

What's new?

Core i7 architecture. This model comes with the Core i5 chip, which is a toned-down version of Intel's latest quad-core processor. The iMac has almost caught up to the Mac Pro in terms of performance.

A dedicated SD-card slot. Finally, you can load up SD cards without a hassle.

Mini Display Port - most users are probably wondering what this is, and why it's so important, but it's one of the best new additions to the iMac. One of the problems with owning an iMac is that you're stuck pretty much with what you buy - the only upgrade available is your RAM, and once you toss the computer, the screen goes with it. Mac users have been lusting for at least an OPTION to reuse their iMac monitors somehow, and this is the ticket. When your iMac becomes obsolete in the future, you can still use the gorgeous display as a monitor for a new computer - or even as a small home theater.

The front display is now all glass. There are upsides and downsides to this. It definitely makes the computer and display more attractive and easier to clean, as well as more durable. Glass won't mar, scratch, or tear compared to an exposed LCD screen. However, glare on this screen is incredibly bad. In a well-lit room, you can expect to see reflections of almost everything in your surroundings - and in bright sunlight, the display can almost completely wash out. It's nice they the screen is more attractive, but constant glare creates eye strain, and can be a pain to deal with over time.

The new keyboard and mouse are both wireless. The new keyboard resembles a laptop keyboard, with minimal functions and multiple functions mapped to the same key. The new Magic Mouse uses multi-touch gestures in place of actual clicking and using a scroll wheel. It works well for the most part, but most of the pinch-zoom functions are still weak. But as far as working like a basic mouse, it's a huge improvement over the old Mighty Mouse, which had problems with right clicking and a notoriously unreliable scroll ball. Since both are included at no premium, and you can actually downgrade to the old mouse/keyboard for free (which I recommend for the keyboard), it's not a knock against the product.

One more thing - this screen has to be seen to be believed. It is an absolute MONSTER of a screen, yet the computer wraps very tightly around it, so it doesn't actually take up a whole lot of desktop space. A very nicely designed all-in-one computer.

If you're looking for a new Mac, this is definitely the one to get.』

(Ships in 2 - 5 weeks)
『Why does it take 2 - 5 weeks to ship this machine that can be bought from every Apple store immediately?』

(Near perfection)
『What can I say, best screen in the business, best OS and best customer service that can be had. If I could change one thing, I would add a number keyboard to the wireless keyboard that comes with the iMac but I guess I can add that myself. It is amazing the things I have been able to do in just 2 days since getting this one and I can't wait to learn what other little hidden gems this baby has. There is no competition now and despite some reviews of problems surfacing on the net, I have not had any yet.』

(New stunning Imac 27')
『I am very excited with this new imac 27 inch model. Few months back i was not able to buy the 24inch because of lack of money. Amazon emailed me about the new imac and i went to Apple store and fell in love at first sight with the stunning graphic quality of2560x1440 HD which is very higher then HD TV.

I was planning to buy quad processor and hook up with TV but when i went in the store i didn't liked the whole system looked so dull.

From 1499 to 1699 + Tax what you get is 27" screen, 1 TB of hard drive and 3.06 GHz of CPU, SdHC slot with a very sexy magic mouse feels the same as you are moving pages from iphone, Snow leopord, wireless keyboard. The screen doesn't get as hot as 24'
Some flaws-:

-Snow leopord makes the rebooting time slow Approx 54 seconds where as leopord is just few seconds.Overall faster processor. Called customer service and had excellent excellent experience with that also and mentioned engineers are working on that and this would be resolved soon.

-Pricey-$1700/- but you get high end computer and best of all. You can get the same deal with the PC for $900 + blue ray player.Yoy pay $99/year for mobile me and some more bucks for extended service plan.

-Wish we had same applications as iphone.

-A blue ray play would have been nuts in the cream. But Hd is almost same as Blue ray player.

So overall i liked the system and main reason i don't have to worry about is the antivirus, anti spyware. I bought mine from Best Buy with 18 months no interest. If you fall in love with this new imac, get some good deals.

Still learning Mac. Very user friendly. If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss.』

Key Features

Pre-Loaded with Mac OS X Snow Leopard and iLife '09

Every Mac comes with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, the world's most advanced operating system, and iLife, Apple's innovative suite of applications for managing photos, making movies and creating and learning to play music. Snow Leopard builds on a decade of OS X innovation and success with hundreds of refinements, new core technologies and out of the box support for Microsoft Exchange. iLife features iPhoto, to easily organize and manage photos; iMovie with powerful easy-to-use new features such as Precision Editor, video stabilization and advanced drag and drop; and GarageBand which introduces a whole new way to help you learn to play piano and guitar.

Installed software

The iMac includes a highly efficient power supply that reduces the amount of power wasted when bringing electricity from the wall to your computer. Lower power consumption reduces energy bills and lessens the environmental impact of greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.

Advanced Power Management
Unlike a lot of Windows-based PC systems, iMac uses energy-efficient hardware components that work hand in hand with the operating system to conserve power. Mac OS X spins down hard drives and activates sleep mode on already energy-efficient LED-backlit displays. And it balances tasks across both central processors and graphics processors. Mac OS X never misses a power-saving opportunity, no matter how small. It even regulates the processor between keystrokes, reducing power between the letters you type. That's just one of many ways Apple manages small amounts of power that add up to big savings.

ENERGY STAR Qualification
The iMac meets the stringent low power requirements set by the EPA, making it ENERGY STAR qualified. ENERGY STAR 5.0 sets significantly higher efficiency limits for power supplies and aggressive limits for the computer's typical annual power consumption.

(Hey, not too shabby)
『I bought this PC with high hopes, but low expectations. I needed a replacement for my old Pentium 4 rig, but didn't have a bunch of money to shell out at the moment. Typically I build my own machines, but even the parts I had picked out were more than I wanted to spend. Staples had this PC on sale for around $460 and after doing a lot of research on the AMD CPU and reading reviews I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did.

I work with very demanding graphic, 3D animation, and video editing software including Premiere, After Effects, 3D Studio MAX, etc. I also tend to work in two or three applications at a time. In my spare time I also enjoy playing video games. I bought GTA IV when it first came out and my old 3Ghz P4 couldn't even begin to play it, even with a good video card, so I was hoping this machine would be capable of running that.

I knew before buying that the integrated graphics on this machine would never be capable of my demands, so I ordered a mid priced video card at the same time XFX PV-T98G-YDLU GF 9800GT 600M 512MB DDR3 DUAL DVI TV PCI Express Card, hoping a.) that it would fit in the tight confines of the case, and b.) that the stock 300 watt power supply would be enough to run everything and would have the necessary connectors.

I am happy to report that the video card fit fine, didn't require an additional power connection, and ran fine with the stock power supply. The computer itself is extremely quiet, very fast, and a pleasure to work with. It runs all of my applications flawlessly and with very impressive speed, and GTA IV runs with very high settings. For the combined $570 or so spent, this is an extremely decent system.』

(Awesome pc for high-definition HD video editing)
『PROS: My 6 year old Pentium 4 pc at 2.5Ghz was too slow to edit my new HD video footage so I upgraded to this new HP quad processor and the HD footage is now smooth and I have no problem multitasking by surfing the web, burning a dvd, and editing an HD home video. The pc never used more than 2gigs RAM even though it has 6gigs RAM. I love the standby button that Compaq and HP pcs have always had so it's always a quick 1-second to turn on and 1 second to turn off.

The keyboard lights up when the pc's awake and turns off when the pc's on standby.

Windows 7 is awesome.

This pc has the AMD quad chip instead of the Pentium chip (which would cost about $50-$60 more) but because it can render HD video with ease, I can spend the $50 savings toward a nice dinner or a wireless keyboard/mouse.

CONS: I wish the standby button was a separate button instead of having to hold down a FUNCTION key and the F2 key at the same time. Because the included Windows 7 is 64-bit instead of 32-bit, I had to download the 64-bit drivers for my HP Laserjet 3030 and Laserjet 2600n printers.

No old format PCI expansion slot so if you want to make it wireless, you're better off buying a $30 USB wifi adapter.』

(Simply awesome given the price, very happy)
『I am a serious software developer and bought this machine for home office (there was a deal on Staples with is $450). It is the cheapest quad-core desktop you can find anywwhere with decent, no-bs configuration (good on-board nvidia video card with DVI, enough memory and hard-drive).

Surprisingly it is quite more powerful than I expected (I use a Intel Q9300 quad-core in the office). This machine is just simply awesome. Now I got Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10 dual boot and is happily hacking on my code (I mostly use Ubuntu). Also, this CPU has full VM support so I can run 64-bit virtual machines (watch out some cheap Intel Q8300 quad-core does NOT support VT commands).

By the way, it is also super super quiet. I am very picky on computer fan noises, this one I can't even hear anything. Overall I am super happy with the purchase and would recommend it to everybody.』

(Multi-Tasking Powerhouse)
『Impressive Value! ... Though the 2.6 GHz Athlon II 620 Quad-Core with 2.6 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache may not be the fastest Processor one can buy at this price level, a second look at the rest of the components this desktop sports will justify the purchase and the enterprise.

With this configuration, You can tell that I am neither a gamer nor a professional film editor; hence a lightning fast firing processor was not what I was after. But my typical work session would include sending and receiving email, uploading, editing and processing photos in Photoshop, downloading movies and watching them, and occasionally using Skype while surfing the net, and at the same time, cleaning and defragmenting the hard disk in the background all at the same breath!

Such seemingly mundane tasks, while appearing innocuous enough, exact a heavy toll on the processing core of the chip; so a lightning fast dual only core would behave like a clueless cheerleader with two left feet; on the turf, she is cute and nimble because she memorizes her routine well, but on the dance floor, she is a klutz who can't chew gum and synchronize her dance movements with her dance partner at the same time!

Enter Quad Core processing power 2.6 GHz; though not the extreme speed that you might want if you were a gamer, it has a superb capability for multi-tasking with ease and agility; and that is where this powerhouse comes in handy; enough speed for most if not almost all applications, and enough multi-tasking processing power for four fraught applications simultaneously with ease and without klutzy performance or staggered inter-lapping allocation of processing power.

The 2 MB level2 cache proved readily and immediately, upon initial use, that it is crucial for the smooth procession of processed data throughout 4 cores, thereby augmenting the capabilities of the processor.

And the 6 GB of memory are the beauty behind this simple yet elegant power-capable configuration, while the fact that the motherboard is capable of 16 GB memory expansion put my mind at ease against design obsolescence when faced with Microsoft's unpredictable quirks for memory hungry OS development.

The NVIDIA GeForce 9100 Graphics Card is another extra component that adds to the performance by freeing the processor from the burden of handling power-hungry graphics as opposed to an integrated graphics card as is the custom in this price range.

All in all, unless you are a gamer, my initial use has convinced me that this machine is very well designed, capable and indeed far superior for the typical workstation user than almost anything else out there within $100 price range, give or take, and bang for the buck, it is a hard act to follow.

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review
(First MAC - Now I know why MAC users are so loyal)
『I have been buying PCs for over 15 years and this is my first MAC. I had been considering a MAC over more recent years and decided to take the plunge after hearing other rave reviews of existing users and seeing how superior an IPOD is over a standard MP3 player. I can say that I was not disappointed.

First, there's no learning curve at all, and you can easily make the transition from PC to MAC. I could not say the same about going from windows XP to Vista, which was incredibly frustrating and I consider myself somewhat tech savvy. The operating system is intuitive and very simple to use. I did not really have to search for much of anything or how to do anything. It's that straight forward.

The most obvious thing that you see immediately is it's simplicity. A monitor with all the typical tower stuff integrated (as well as the speakers), a wireless keyboard and mouse. You literally have one wire running from the monitor to the wall if you have wireless networking. That in itself is a reason to consider as not many PCs offer that option.

You also don't have a million external buttons to press to operate this device, everything is selected from the desktop, including the volume. I was quite impressed with the sound quality. It rocks.

The display is crystal clear and you don't get any shake. The OS is lightning fast and browsing the web is faster than anything I ever experienced with a PC. Performing backups is as simple as attaching your backup drive with the Time Warp feature.

While the price is considerable higher than a PC, the ease of use along with the security features make it a great purchase I wasn't completely sure about this purchase beforehand, but glad I took a leap of faith based on the feedback that I got from the loyal MAC owners I know.

I will probably never go back and I am pretty confident that my husband will be getting a MAC notebook next time around.....

If you are considering making the change, I highly recommend it.』

(Five Reasons to Buy This Computer)
『You can read elsewhere for tech specs or geek rantings, but here's my "I've got it set up as my family computer" five point review:

FAST: this computer screams, doing about anything you need it to without annoying pauses.

STYLE: yes, it does look like a fashion statement. And lest you say, "I just care about how it performs"-- you probably have other possessions that you admire their beauty--- some of your clothes, furniture, perhaps your car--- why shouldn't you be able to admire your computer as well? Apple says "YES YOU CAN!"

SILENT: its internal fans and hard drive are so well designed that it's very hard to hear any noise. I didn't expect that to be a big deal but I can really notice the difference between my old computer's noise level and my new iMac.

THE SCREEN: yes, it's a thing of beauty, bright, crisp, big, in full HD resolution that you can use to do any type of computing or watch a movie in complete comfort.

THE OS: Snow Leopard rocks. It's the best personal computer operating system on the planet, period.

All the tech magazines have raved about this computer, and sitting in front of it on my desk I now know why. If you need a new computer I guarantee you will fall in love with it.』

(This is a remarkable computer for the home user...)
『I have had this computer for a week now and absolutely love it. The Magic Mouse took a little time to adjust to, but now it is a favorite. The iMac screen is large (I upgraded from the 17" early 2006 intel iMac), but not so big as to be distracting. Apple, of course, made the experience of setting it up and getting online a breeze, even to the point of having the batteries already installed in the keyboard and mouse, and having the two linked to the computer. The pros include the beauty of the LED screen, the speed of the processor, the fact that it shipped with 4GB of ram, well...that it is every bit the consumer friendly machine I have come to expect from Apple. The upgraded graphics card really is noticeable. It is like a vase of flowers...I love to look at it even when it is off. The SD card slot is most handy. It is every bit as quiet as my previous computer.

The cons include the fact that my 3.5 year old iMac had a matte screen, and the glass front of this 21.5 " iMac does pick up reflections easily. But since I tend to keep my place dark and being a morning person don't have a lot of sunshine to contend with...for me it is actually a better screen than my old iMac's matte screen. It shipped with Apple's shortened keyboard (no number pad) and that took a bit of acclimation. Technology advances so my old firewire devices now need an adapter to work, firewire 400 to 800, but that is a tiny problem. Wish Apple would build in a fold down port for iPods to recharge. And all that glass on the front makes it a little heavy to haul around.

All in all, I love this computer and can heartily recommend it, and that comes from a relatively low income person who watches his money closely.
