(It's a whole new Connect 4 game)

If you've ever played Connect Four, you'll immediately understand the attraction of playing with three or four players. With two players, you've got strategy. With three or four, you've got politics. Sometimes, you just have to cooperate with the very people you are competing against, just to keep someone else from winning. Such is the nature of playing with more than two.

And it's prettier - having four colors instead of two. Colored rings, even.

But that's just part of what makes this game so worthy of our collective consideration. The other part is the channels that accommodate the ex-checker rings. They're double-wide, double-sided. Which means that two rings fit where only one ring used to. And you win regardless of whether your ring is in the front or back of a channel - as long as there are four-in-a-row of your color.

There are also two "blocker" pieces for each color. Double-wide themselves, they fit into both sides of a channel. The blockers are powerful pieces, which is why you only have two of them, which is why you have to conserve them, which is what makes the game all the more inviting for people who like to ponder.

The strategic implications of all this are profound and subtle. Profound enough to make you have to rethink pretty-much everything you know about how to win Connect Four, subtle enough to make the game challenging enough to attract an adult audience, and perhaps too challenging for younger children. But, like Connect Four, the mechanics of dropping checkers into different columns, of being able to empty the entire board by moving the retaining wall on the bottom are still very much present, and at least fascinating enough to keep the toy-value of the game as playworthy as the game itself.

Hasbro has been full of gleeful surprises of late. Though they've been releasing new versions of their licensed products for a while, they have taken great efforts, in most cases, to make sure that the new releases are also new games - different enough from their predecessors to be worthy of serious consideration. Elegant enough to be easy to learn and to invite players to develop their own variations. Fun enough to sustain many hours of thought-provoking, deeply engaging play.

(tricky tic tac toe)
『It's a thinking game and you have to be fast. Unique idea. May be a bit difficult for some children to factor in the other grids. A good game for the family to play together.』

(A phenomenal update.)
『Connect 4x4 is a sleek, stylish update to the timeless, albeit simple, classic game. The ability to play on multiple planes adds a welcome level of complexity. And playing with more than 2 players makes it much tougher to force a win, which is helpful because it takes a lot more work (or one of a player's precious few Blocker pieces) to block a win as well.

My only misgiving about this game is that in an unbalanced play group, a poor player will give a massive advantage to the player following him. But even with this setback, it's a surprisingly intense experience that I would highly recommend. If the idea of a thinking man's Connect Four appeals to you, this is a dream come true.』

『Take the challenge of the only 4-in-a-row game for 4 players. Doubling the grid and doubling the number of players creates more challenge and more fun. Take turns dropping a checker into the grid to create a line of 4 checkers horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, just like the original Connect 4. The double-sided grid allows you to make a line on either side, or by weaving through from one side to the other. For 4 players, ages 8 and up.』
『Connect 4 x 4 is similar to the classic original, but now you can play with up to four people, and the double-sided grid adds greater complexity and more chances to win. Designed for ages eight and up, Connect 4 x 4 may have doubled the challenge, the amount of players, and the grid--but the fun and scoring are still the same: four in a row and you win!

(fun game)
『It is so much fun to play. One was for me and one was a gift. It is nice and compact and you can even play it with yourself.』

(Challenging and Fun)
『This is a wonderful game to play for even just two players. The game rules that allow you to rearrange letters whenever you want, as well as spell words backwards, forwards&on a diagonal make for a lot of fun and challenge. Nice travel game too.』

(Bananagrams, bought through Amazon.)
『"Bananagrams" is a fabulous game! It's a lot of fun while being highly educational.
It's suitable for kids who can spell, +- 8 yrs old, right through to the elderly. I've played the game with up to 8 players, but it can even be played as Solitaire.
Apart from the obvious benefits of any word game, it also utilizes the arts of quick thinking, strategy, flexibility AND organization.

I am 67 and bought "Bananagrams" after watching a group of very intelligent high school kids playing the game. They even let me play once... Couldn't wait for mine to arrive; thank goodness it didn't take long!

Another major advantage of Bananagrams is that it comes in a small zippered pouch, so is totally portable. What a great game for vacations!

I cannot recommend it highly enough!

G.Davis, grandmother of 11.

(Challenging&even good for two people over coffee.)
『Easy to take on vacation; most adults will find this game more challenging than Scrabble.』

(Fun and educational)
『We first played this game at a friends house and liked it so much we bought it. And our 18 year old daughter and her friends like it too!』
『Bananagrams is a fast and fun word game that requires no pencil, paper or board. All you need is a table. One hand can be played in as little as five minutes. It is a great for family fun as well as being educational. Bananagrams portability makes it perfect for travel. Just grab the pouch and go.』

(Bop It Master Speaks ...)
『Moms, dads, Santa, and anyone looking to buy a dandy-but-addictive $15 children's gift this season should check Bop It! out. It's kind of a Simon Says game that features snarky comments from the toy, with players required to "bop it," "twist it," and "pull it" depending on the machine's infernal commands. It gets faster as the game progresses, and eventual success adds levels of difficulty. It's hard to explain, easy to learn, durable, and fun to play.』

(Very great toy)
『This toy cost much less than the other bopits on this site. Its fun and challenging. You can't get to other levels until you pass novice to get to expert, or expert to get to master, which makes it more addictive. The shout and party level adds much twist and enjoyment. I bought this for my 7yr old son and found that I couldn't put it down myself. This toy helps with listening skills and eye coordination. I definately recommend this toy.』

(Fast and fun)
『This version of Bop It is much more user friendly, not so hard to maneuver. It is easy to hold and lightweight. The "voice" option adds a new twist. It is a lot of fun.』
Bop it, baby! Can you react to the commands fast enough? With thebop it!game, you never know what's coming next!
Bop it, baby! Withbop it!,you never know what's coming next. Can you react to the commands quickly enough to beat your high score? Three different orders come at you fast, and there's even a new 'Yell It!' command to keep you guessing. Play the game alone or with a group of friends in the new 'Party Bop' mode!』

『Fun for the whole family, Bop It is like a modern-day, handheld "Simon Says." After pulling the blue knob to activate the game, just follow the voiced directions and get ready to bop it, twist it, pull it, or shout it! But make sure you do it before the buzzer sounds! Designed for ages eight and up, the game will have you showing off your bopping talent by being the first to "stay alive."

(Still not sure)
『It doesnt say how many cards to pass out, so we used them all which makes a lot of cards to sort through. You get stuck a lot and not as fast moving as you think it might be. Probably wont get played much』

(Will be gifts so can't give fair rating)
『this game looked like great fun on tv so bought it. They are to be gifts so haven't played yet. We love games so I think it will be a winner. Can't give a fair rating yet though.』

(An awesome family game for 6 to 99 years of age!)
『I have an 8 year old, 10 year old, and 17 year old at home. My husband and I play this game with all three kids and we have so much fun we end up rolling on the floor laughing! This game gets unbelievably fast! People start screaming and slamming letters and yelling words! My 8 year old daughter has a hard time keeping up with my teenage son plays but she still loves it and laughs the whole time! We keep the iphone handy so we can look up words on [...] when we get in a spot where nothing seems to work. Most of the time that doesn't happen, unless my teenage son picks a word.. like aged. Anyway.. we love this game and highly recommend it! We are going to see if it works to put two decks together and double the people (10) at Christmas time. Will be interesting to see how crazy it gets with my grown daughters and my son-in-laws. As far as educational value, I've even learned words. If you get in a bind you end up making up a work and half the time, it's a real word and i read the definition aloud so everyone knows it for the rest of the game. You MUST get this game!』

(not so slammin')
『Nothing that exciting. We are big scrabble players and I guess I was expecting more. We still had an hour of fun. One good thing is this is portable!』

(Pretty good play but can get dull... good for two players)
『The premise of the game is to build four letter words. There are alot more than you think. I tried doing a round with five letter words and didnt get too far. I presume they did their homework in picking four letters. Its a fast pace game, it gets a bit dull when the players start throwing down DULL, FULL, DULL, FULL, etc. Repeats are allowed so it can get repetitious. Two player games are hard to come by so for a couple bucks, its worth it to pick it up to entertain yourselves a couple of rounds for a half hour or so.』
『SCRABBLE SLAM is a fast-paced word game where anything could happen! Race against each other to change the existing four-letter word and get rid of your cards.“Game” could become “fame” and “fame” could become “fate”—you never know where it’ll go. Be the first player to get rid of all of your cards to win!』

What We Think

Fun factor:
Durability:
Ease of assembly:
Educational factor:

The Good: Up to four people can play Connect 4 x 4; features new colors and helpful blockers.

The Challenging: Younger children may need pointers on the double-sided grid when first playing.

In a Nutshell: Fun remake of a favorite game with added challenge and complexity.

Double-sided Grid, More Colors, New Pieces
Connect 4 x 4 is the only checkers four-in-a-row, four-player game--making it perfect for family game nights. With the new double-sided grid, you can score on both the front and back side of the game.

Game play is simple--pick a line, drop a checker in on each turn, and hope that your opponents don't foil your strategy before you get four checkers in a row! The game has also added "blockers," which can be used to block your opponents on both sides of the grid in one turn. However, make sure to save your blockers for when you really need them--you only get two and they are valuable!

When you're finished playing Connect 4 x 4, a convenient locking top slide keeps the pieces on the grid so you never have to worry about lost checkers.

Challenging Remake of a Timeless Favorite
If you grew up playing Connect 4, you'll quickly realize that Connect 4 x 4 is like having both an old favorite and a new game all in one. You can still play the game with two players, but now also have the option of playing with four. The double-sided grid adds a welcome challenge and complexity for long-time Connect 4 players. A word of warning for younger players: the added complexity may be a bit challenging to understand at first, but once they do, they'll definitely be hooked.

What's in the Box
Double-sided grid, 68 checkers (17 of each color), and eight blockers (two of each color).

(easy&quick to learn; fun to play)
『easy and quick to learn.
can be played over and over again with different groups of people. fun if you have only 1 other person or 6 others :) good game. this is almost the same as Five Crowns』

(Family card game)
『We have not had much time to play this game, it is a game meant for more than 2 players, more exciting with more people.

(A favorite game!)
『I love word games, and this game is a lot of fun to play. It moves quickly so can be played faster than, say, a game of scrabble. The cards themselves are beautiful and, being a card game, it is easily packable/portable.』

(Fun for all ages)
『Quiddler is a word game using cards. Much like a rummy games - players build words in a ten hand game. Good spelling workout!』

(FUN)
『Played this at my son and daughter-in-laws, liked it so well had to find it and buy it.』
『The challenge of Quiddler is to arrange your entire hand into words. Draw and discard in turn. Try to use those high point letters, but don't get caught with them uncombined! Quiddler is fast paced because you can play using everyday words. A bonus is given for the most words in each round (so little words can help you win), as well as for the longest word. Quiddler is a delightful challenge for both rookies and word game lovers. Quiddler is for up to eight players.』
『The rules are brutal, but the rewards are worth it in this card game that works a bit like Scrabble. Although there is a solitary version of the game for one player, you can play with up to eight. Cards containing letters of the alphabet and special combinations of letters are dealt in increasing number each time the dealer completes a round. Once you've collected your share, you can discard and pick up a new card with each turn. The object is to turn all the letters in your possession into dictionary-proof words while leaving one stray card as a final discard. You want to be the first to accomplish the goal, of course, but there is a scoring system that makes the play competitive for everyone. One nice element is the cards themselves: the letter design is based on beautiful artwork from Celtic manuscripts. This card game is a 1999 Parents' Choice Silver Award winner.--Tom Keogh

(Better than Monopoly)
『This is the type of board game that will appeal to people who play Monopoly and Civilization and many more. There are many add-ons to make the game more interesting after time, but not necessary unless you want to have more players than 4.
If you want a board game that allows a better chance of all being able to win, I would highly recommend this game. Also if possible you should go online and play the demo's so you know exactly how the game works and is played. The game is more complicated to learn than say Monopoly but, not that complicated especially after you see the online tutorial.
One suggestion is game play should be described on a DvD so people without internet could easily understand and when you get a new group to play the game, all could watch and understand the principals of the game. This would make start up a lot easier for the novices.
Overall I gave this game 5 stars and Highly recommend it.

(Settlers of Catan)
『My son is a board game fanatic and loves this game. It is engaging for all players, not just the one taking his turn, and it doesn't take all night to finish.』

(Settlers is good)
『While it's a little confusing to have to keep track of the 4 - 6 player extension packs (I think they should just sell the game as a 6-player version) this is a lot of fun to play if you have a free afternoon with the family.』

(Catan rules!)
『This has become one of my favorite games. I first played it and hated it. I could not understand the concepts. Don't get discouraged. It is worth learning. This game would be difficult to just buy read the instructions and play so it helps if you know someone who already knows how to play. This is a must buy game if you enjoy playing for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. There is alot of strategy so you get to actually use your mind. The game is different everytime you set it up because you can switch all the peices around and number tokens. You must buy this game! have fun!』

(The Envy of Your Friends)
『Want a game that everyone can play?
want a game that everyone can play and the adults won't get bored?

well then look no further exploing probilty odds between 2 dice this game is very simple and yet so complex. the gist of the game is easy roll a dice if your building is buy the number you roll you get resources. use the resorces to buy more buildings, which get you more resorces. one might call this a never ending good cycle. there are a few exceptions to make the game more fun though. if a player rolls a seven they get to rob resorces from an opponet. :) and/or place the robber on a hex that blocks an opponet from a potentialy needed resource. The only other exeptions are development cards. deveopment cards get you bounus (resources)that help to develop buildings. buildings must be 2/3's of a hex appart and touching a road(roads are build with resources) the object of the game is to reach 10 pts. pts are given for buildings and special development cards that can be occasionly found) aka building cards that are dispersed throught the development cards. although the rules are realy easy to get down. there are many complex players. the game can take a long time to complete espicaly if you have the expansion pack and are playing with 6 people. (normal game plays 2-4 people) aveage game takes 1-2 hours depending on the dice rolls. try it, I guarentee once you get started you won't be able to stop.』

『One of the most successful games of all time, Settlers of Catan is a trading and building game set in the mythical world of Catan. Players roll dice to determine which resources are generated each round and then must strategically trade those resources with other players to get what they need to build their settlements, cities, and roads. With multiple ways to gain victory points and a board that changes in every play, Settlers of Catan is a game that can be played hundreds of different ways. The base of a hugely successful franchise, with multiple engaging expansions, Settlers is the core game of many collections, and is a wonderful way to spend time with family and friends. For 3 to 4 players.』
『The Settlers of Catan from Mayfair Games is an award-winning strategy game where players collect resources and use them to build roads, settlements and cities on their way to victory. The board itself is variable, making each game a little different from the next. On the Road to Settlement
The game rules and almanac booklet sets out four pages of guidelines for getting started. Don't worry, the rules are straightforward and the four pages include plenty of illustrations. There's a starting map that shows a well-balanced set-up for beginners to follow and directions that allow more advanced players to lay out the map of the island at random. You'll have to pop the die-cut components of the game out of their cardboard holders before you play your first game.

The almanac portion of the booklet is laid out alphabetically, so while playing you can find answers to specific questions quickly. Useful entries remind you exactly what role pieces like the robber play, how actions like maritime trade work, and how to set up the board or finish the game.

Exploring and Developing Catan
The board consists of 19 terrain hexes surrounded by the ocean. Each type of terrain produces a different type of resource: brick, wool, ore, grain or lumber. There's also a desert hex that produces no resources. As the game progresses, players use resources to build roads along the edges of these hexes and settlements or cities on the intersections where three hexes meet. Each player begins the game with two settlements and two roads.

Each player's roll of the dice causes certain hexes to produce resources, which you collect if you have a settlement on one of them. On your turn, you'll use various combinations of the resources you've acquired to build new roads and settlements, upgrade settlements to cities, or purchase development cards. The ability to trade resources with other players adds a new level of strategy and ensures that the game includes lots of interaction between players. You can also trade without worrying about other players using an unfavorable maritime trade rate. Elements including a robber piece that lets you steal from other players and a variety of development cards add intrigue to the game.

The objective of The Settlers of Catan is to be the first one who collects 10 victory points. Each settlement is worth one victory point and each city is worth two victory points. You can also earn victory points by holding the "Longest Road" card, the "Largest Army" card, or special victory point development cards.

Best-Selling Game of the Year
It's easy to see why The Settlers of Catan has been recognized as a best-selling Game of the Year in both Germany and the U. S. We found this game to be fun and engaging for both children and adults, and the variable nature of the playing field really made us want to play again and again. When we started pausing to contemplate our opponents' strategy and factoring the probability of different dice rolls into our moves, the game sometimes took longer than expected, but we were so engrossed we didn't even notice until it was all over.

Due to the widespread popularity of the original game, several expansion sets (sold separately) are available that allow you to explore new aspects of the game or add more players. The only downside to this game is that you need to have either three or four players to play, so it's great that expansion sets are available that will allow you to add players.

What's in the Box
Six sea frame pieces, 19 terrain hexes, nine harbor pieces, 18 circular number tokens, 126 game cards, 16 cities, 20 settlements, 60 roads, two dice, a robber and a rules and almanac booklet.

(Expected More From Twilight Scene It)
『My husband bought this game for me as an early Christmas present in anticipation of the Christmas rush. I expected so much more then what I got. The game board is very small and we finished the game in about 15 minutes. There are several games too choose from but I can't see how those can be any longer since you are using the same board.I don't know if it's the shape of the dice or the way we rolled but more than half out rolls were fate cards. Which made it feel like more of a speed game then a scene it game. I think we only saw about 5 DVD questions. All in all it's an awesome purchase for the young Twilight obsessed fan in your life. For anyone older, it just goes by too fast.』

(Twilight Scene It? Yes...again and again.)
『Was sooo excited to get this game. And it is pretty fun for about the first 15 to 20 minutes but then the DVD challenge part of the game does the same two challenges over and over again. Love the movie and books, so it was still worth the purchase just wish I would have waited until they maybe come out with another version of the game that includes some of the other movies too. It was just too quick of a game, I went around the entire board in about the first ten minutes but just kept going around to make it last longer.』

The ultimate Twilight trivia experience, this DVD/board game is packed with Twilight-themed trivia, puzzles, and mini-games. View larger.

A Dazzling Twilight Experience
From the game pieces to the trivia cards, every aspect of Twilight Scene It? has been infused with the spirit of Twilight. The game begins with players choosing one of four collectible tokens to represent their team. Sculpted out of metal, these tokens have been modeled after some of Twilight's most iconic items: Charlie's house, a baseball, Bella's truck, and Edward's piano.

Teams advance around the board by answering two types of questions: traditional trivia cards and DVD-based puzzles. The trivia cards, which resemble what you might find in Trivial Pursuit, provide questions in a wide range of difficulty. Some of the tougher questions are challenging enough to stump even the most devoted Twilight fans. Players can also strategically use special "Fate Cards" to throw their opponents off course.

The main attraction, however, is the interactive DVD. Hosted by Dr. Carlisle Cullen (played by Peter Facinelli), it is filled with hundreds of video clips, sound bites, and images from the movie. When players draw a DVD challenge card, they must solve a video puzzle. These puzzles range from memory games to message decryptions, and will put your knowledge of Twilight to the test.

Fun for Every Level of Twilight Fan
The DVD has been designed with the fans in mind. Everything about it has been adapted from the film, right down to the gothic font used for the menus. You'll see cameos by your favorite characters and relive classic moments from the film. Also included are several mini-games, so you can get a quick Twilight fix even when you're not playing the board game.

Smart, Award-Winning Fun
Apples to Apples has won numerous awards including "Party Game of the Year" by Games magazine and "Mensa Select" by Mensa International. And for good reason: it involves quick thinking, humor, and strategy. For teens, the game teaches them to think about how different things can be compared to one another and how analogies are formed. One of our criticisms is that although the game states that it is designed for ages 12 and older, many of the subjects are clearly for older teens.

Hilarious Comparisons and Analogies
The name of the game is a play on the phrase "apples to oranges," and the game is about making comparisons between different things. General game play is as follows: players are dealt red cards which have a noun printed on them, and the judge (a different player in each turn) draws a green card on which an adjective is printed and places it for all players to see. Each player then chooses a red card they are holding that they think best describes the green card. The judge then decides which adjective she likes best.

The fun is in the variety of unexpected comparisons people make, sometimes apt, funny, creative, or simply absurd. For example: people might match "Awkward" with "Oil Spills," "My First Kiss," "Dandruff," and "Gold Chains. " Or: "Painful" with "High School Reunions" and "Regis Philben. " Strategy comes into play since, because each player takes turns being the judge, you begin to pick up on the preferences of each player and tailor your choices accordingly.

Players can also try variations on the basic game play. For example, instead of choosing the most apt comparison, players might try choosing the red card that is least like the green one. These variations keep the game fresh and interesting every time.

Conversation Kick Starter
Part of the fun is in standing up for your choices. For instance, you might discuss why you think "Regis Philben" is painful, or segue into a discussion of the embarrassing situations you got into on your first day of school, or your first kiss. Apples to Apples excels as an ice breaker and promotes a good amount of social interaction, as many conversations will be kick started thanks to these little cards.

More Players, More Fun
Although the box states that the game is playable with just four players, we found that the game is a lot more fun when there are at least five or six players. This increases both the frequency of funny answers and also requires players to refine their strategy a little more. Once we got going, hours passed, and it was only the lateness of the hour that reminded some of us that we had to go home.

This Party Box set comes with more than 1,000 cards total, and will entertain for a long time. Additional expansion sets are available to further increase the variety of word combinations.

What's in the Box
756 Red Apple Cards, 252 Green Apple Cards, card tray, quick play rules.

(Hey What's On This Side?)
『This is exactly what you would expect from Scene It with an all Simpsons theme. This game and a partnership with the Television show make for a nice combination. For avid fans of the Simpsons, the game is a little easy so perhaps you might make a rule that you need to have the entire name of a character (even the obscure ones) to get the answer right. The game on the disc looks solid and crisp and it does NOT look like something that was just thrown together. If you like the Simpsons or are huge fans, you won't be disappointed buying this.』

(A fun, casual game exclusively for Sismpsons fans!)
『Let me start by saying I'm not very familiar with the other "Scene It?" brand dvd/board games. So I can't say how this Simpsons edition compares to others. What I CAN tell you is that if you like casual trivia-based board games with a home video element AND you are a HUGE fan of The Simpsons, there is no doubt that you will love this game!

The concept is simple: up to four players (minimum 2) progress around the game board while answering various Simpsons trivia challenges until someone ends up in the winner circle. The game comes with a foldable game board, 4 player tokens (in the shape of Simpsons icons: the TV, the power plant, the 3-eyed fish, and a Slushie cup), two dice (1 typical 6-sided, 1 8-sided to draw a category), a big box of trivia cards, a small stack of "Buzz" cards, and a game dvd.

The way it works is this: players roll both dice to start their turn. Players move the number of spaces from the 6-sided dice and attempt the challenge indicated from the 8-sided dice. Two types of challenges are from the dvd, where either you or everyone (depending on the die roll) have to answer a trivia question from a variety of challenges before time runs out. Three other challenges come from the trivia cards, where one player reads the question to another player who has to answer before 30 seconds is up. Rolling a "Buzz" card means one must draw the card and either incur the penalty or reap the reward, depending on the card, similar to "Chance" cards in Monopoly. There is also a players choice on the 8-sided dice where the player may choose any challenge they please.

To make a long story short, this dvd/board game is a LOT of fun for anyone who fancies themselves a Simpsons trivia buff and enjoys a casual board game. The game is quick to learn and to start. There are enough challenges and questions to keep the game fresh and not repeat questions. It's fun with as little as two players and up to four. You are at liberty to adjust a few rules to your liking and still not ruin the game play, particularly to make shorter or longer games.

Finally, I must add one word of caution: THIS GAME IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR SIMPSONS FANS! If you never watch The Simpsons, this game is not for you. If you watch it every now and again when you happen to catch it on TV, this game is not for you. If you used to watch the show but haven't in a long time, it's not for you. This game is for die-hard fans who watch the show religiously, own the dvd sets, consistently recall the show, the jokes, and the quotes to themselves on almost a daily basis. If you LOVE LOVE LOVE The Simpsons and enjoy casual board games, you will really enjoy this game. You'll be pleased at the trivia you do recall while playing, and kicking yourself in the butt for not remembering things you thought you knew. This is a Simpsons game where you will feel very immersed in the Simpsons world and enjoy being there the whole time. If you are only a casual fan of The Simpsons, this game will be wasted on you.』

(Best. Scene It. Ever)
『As I've seen "Scene It?"s made for Seinfeld and Harry Potter, I always wondered how there couldn't be Scene It? for the Simpsons. So I just about crapped myself when I saw this on Amazon. I should also include that the one amazon sells is the Deluxe Edition and stores mostly sell standard. They cost the same, but the Deluxe has an extra 30 trivia cards, 6 more buzz cards, and the pieces and dice are all a lot better crafted. Make sure to buy the Deluxe.

Anyways, the game is just like any other Scene It with games using sound clips (where you guess which character is talking), sketches to guess a character, scrambled images of characters and scenes, and most importantly, clips to watch where you either have to finish the line or answer a question. The amount of All Plays in the game is astounding. I've played through at least 10 full games and, while I do see repeats more and more, there are always still new questions after clips or new images unscrambling. Not to mention tons of trivia cards. The only things that are really limited are the 16 Buzz Cards (10 in the standard edition), which are like Chance cards. You won't go through 10 Buzz cards in a single game, but they get old pretty quick once you lap through them.

The difficulty has a big range from incredibly easy questions, such as: after playing a clip of Homer jumping Springfield Gorge, it asks "What Springfield landmark is Homer jumping?". Stuff that you can get without the clip or having watched the simpsons for ten years. There are also some impossible trivia questions, asking about random guest stars from season 8 that you never had any idea had a part in the Simpsons. But I did have to rate this game a 5 in educational value, since due to these kinds of questions, I now know Professor Frink's first name and what character Edward Norton played on the Simpsons.

You do, however, have to, at the bare minimum, have a working memory of character names to have a chance at winning the game. So as long as you know who Kent Brockman or Rod Flanders are, you should be fine for several of the questions. I assume most looking at this product, though, are really into the Simpsons and that shouldn't be a problem for.

I honestly have no hesitation giving this Scene It 5 stars. It is probably my favorite Simpsons toy and I have thoroughly enjoyed every time I've set it up to play. Questions are heavily weighted towards the first 10 seasons, but do occasionally have question about episodes as recent as Season 20. Even a moderate Simpsons fan can enjoy the game immensely.』

(Plenty of new questions and scenes)
『This game gives you a nice mix of questions. I have played several times, and there have been no repeat questions yet.

Pros:
Plenty of questions
Party mode allows you just to have it keep bringing random questions and scenes up on your TV without using the remote or playing on the board game.』

A Trip to Springfield, Trivia Style
From the game pieces to the trivia cards, every aspect of Scene It? has been infused with the charm and humor of The Simpsons. The game begins with players choosing one of four collectible tokens to represent their team. Sculpted out of metal, these tokens have been modeled after some of the show's most recognizable icons: the family TV, the Springfield power plant, the three-eyed fish, and a slushie cup. The game board is collapsible and features two sizes, giving you the option of playing a 15-minute quick game or a 40-minute extended game.

Teams advance around the board by answering two types of questions: traditional trivia cards and DVD-based puzzles. The trivia cards, which resemble what you might find in Trivial Pursuit, come in three different categories: green "general" questions, orange "song/dialogue" questions, and yellow "pop culture" questions. They vary in difficulty, and some of the tougher questions are challenging enough to stump even the most fervent Simpsons fans.

The main attraction, however, is the interactive DVD. Featuring hundreds of video clips, sound bites, and images from the show, the DVD challenges players to solve brain-teasing Simpsons puzzles. With a variety of different puzzle categories, the DVD puts your knowledge of The Simpsons to the test. Categories include "Krusty's Cartoon Cut 'Em Ups," where players must identify a character based on a distorted image, and "Blank-Diddly Blank," which challenges players to decode clever wordplay.

(Fun Family Game)
『Our family loves to play games together. With varying ages, it can be hard to find a game that holds the attention of everyone. We've been playing Five Crowns for almost a year now and it is still a go-to game for us. Sometimes my kids play on their own, or often it's pulled out for family game night. The rules are simple to understand. My six-year old can understand as easily as the rest of our family.』

(Crown 5 cards)
『Crown 5 is lots of fun, it says for 2 or more, it is not as much fun with only 2 players, the more players the more exciting. Friends of our introduced us to the game, there are no local stores with this game on the shelves. Will make a fun family party game.』

(Five Croowns)
『This is a card game. It's a deck of cards. It arrived on time and in new conditions. I'm happy for the purchase.』

(Five crown is a fun family game.)
『This is a good game for children about 8 or 9 years old and adults. Takes a bit of concentration, but is enjoyable. Nice graphics on the cards.』
『Five Crowns is a fast paced ingenious rummy-like card game. Its double deck contains five suits (the stars are new), but it has no aces or twos. This unique deck gives you many more options for arranging your hand into sets and sequences. The challenge is to see them make the right combinations, be the first to go out, then watch the others scramble as they get one last chance to cut their losses. Five Crowns, with its beautiful cards, is easy to learn. It starts with three cards and 3's are wild. The next hand has four cards and 4's are wild, and so on. You'll need luck and skill throughout the game because even in the last hand a worthy opponent can come from behind and win. Remember, "the game isn't over 'til the Kings go wild!" Five Crowns is for up to 2 to 7 players.』
