『I bought this toy as a prop for a play I was directing. It served its role well and my own children found it quite entertaining.』

(Too Real! 3&4 Year Olds Love it! Inspiration for Zhu Zhu Pet)

『My Great Gran gave my daughter (almost 3) and my niece (4) these hamsters in August 2008. At first, we thought it was a cat toy. She is 91 after all. Turned out to be great fun for my daughter and niece. Felt real and looked real. Quite cuddly for a small robotic. As another reviewer said, it works best outside the ball on a hard surface, but the ball is great on carpet. The girls played with them consistently for over 7 months. My daughter's disappeared, but she still asks about it. It helped spark her curiosity about other animals. She wanted to know all about hamsters. She'd pretend to feed him and even tried putting him on a ribbon leash. Definitely a good buy. Just don't forget to put him away at night. It's so realistic that stepping on him in the middle of the night might scare the pants off you!』

(Daughter loves it, but it sucked up her hair!)

『My daughter loves hamsters, so I bought her this for Christmas... then she managed to see the box early and squealed, "Hamster!" How could I deny her? So, fine, she got the darn thing early, and she loved it. It went scuttling around the floor in its ball, then she took it out and it scuttled around some more. BUT... when she held it up to get a good look at it, her hair got stuck in the wheels, and the wheels kept going! Her hair got wrapped around and around the wheel, and it seems there was no automatic shut-off for something like this-- there should definitely be some kind of sensor to automatically shut off this toy if something is stuck in its wheels.

So I had a crying, screaming child while I ran over to shut off the toy and unwind her hair from its wheels. You might chalk this up to a freak accident, but considering we've owned the toy for less than 24 hours, I'm afraid that similar events are on our horizon. I think I may force her to keep it inside the ball.

(Update a week later): Funny thing about this: I knew nothing about Zhu Zhu Pets when I bought this. Only after I saw how much she liked this did I go online looking for other toy hamsters, because when I asked what she wanted for Christmas, she said, "Another hamster." I had no idea about the Zhu Zhu craze! This toy is not a Zhu Zhu (someone asked me that in the comments, so I'll put it out here)-- it doesn't make sounds or change directions or any of the additional things they do. But for what it is, it's cute, and a good price. Using only one battery is a nice benefit, too.』

『These are about the size of a real hamster and it reminds me of the ones we used to have by the way they change direction in the ball when they run into something. But they are not real enough looking for anyone to freak out about a mouse in the house...probably.

Batteries: Just needs one AAA which is a big improvement from other toy hamsters. Don't be afraid to give the battery container a good pull when installing- it's attached to the inside with velcro. (I thought I broke it for a second.)』

『I got this for christmas. I didnt really play with it. Once i asked it if my cat was going to scrath my brother it said it is certian then like a minute later my cat started scrathing my brother. Me and my brother thought that was wierd then after that when my brother was on the computer i asked if the computer would stop working and it said without a doubt. Then the computer kept saying stack overload then shutdown. I thought it was weird. My brother thought it was scary.

overall 4/5 it hasnet given me any bad luck.

『This gun makes good use of clip technology and also takes longshot cs-6 clips. Each clip takes 6 ammo (hence Recon cs-'6') and is easily interchangible. It shoots harder but less accurately than the Maverick and you need to slide the cocking lever back THEN forth before it is ready to fire. It has a convenient 'Jammed dart acces openeing' where you can access the jammed darts than so many reveiwers have reported. Be sure that when you load your clips into your gun that your clip is facing the right direction. If you don't, your darts will jam even if They are faced in the right direction. In my mind, still, there's no better gun to protect you from the inevitable zombie invasion.』

『I purchased the Recon CS-6 for a local game of Humans vs Zombies, so naturally this review is more aimed for "Big Kids" who want to use it as such. I bought this blaster on sale for $15, and despite a few flaws I will talk about later, it's great. This blaster has a very nice distance, and for the price is comparable to the Longshot. It's a great size weight, etc. for carrying around a college campus. Going along with this, the Stock, Barrel, etc are removable to allow for greater portability, especially because you must keep your blasters in your bag in academic buildings.

Now for some problems and solutions.
1.) This blaster jams periodically, however maintain it well and it will perform accordingly. If you plan on using this for Humans vs. Zombies, have some socks as backup.
2.) The barrel slows down the darts, and this can be fixed by either not using the barrel or removal of the air restrictor, which I have done with my blaster.
3.) The laser sight is terrible, don't use it. If you need a flashlight, pick up a Garrity LED-9 (Rite-Aid, $8) flashlight and remove the rail attachment from the laser sight and wire tie it to the flashlight. You can now use your flashlight as a rail accessory. Link on Amazon:[...] I would not reccomend however buying a laser pointer to attach as they are difficult to calibrate to the Nerf Gun.』

『Even in a totally dark room, the EyeClops' picture was dim and fuzzy. We were finally able to get a mediocre picture by moving the projector to about 18 inches of the wall, but the tradeoff was that the projected image was smaller than our TV screen. Even my kids, who would watch TV if we put wax paper in front of the screen, found this unwatchable.』

『I want to emphasize that this is a great Toy. This is not a high dollar piece of equipment but for what it's worth it works great. I have used it to entertain my grandchildren when they come over for holidays. They are always fighting for space to watch tv or play games so this really helps. 『My daughter wanted to paint her room like a rainbow... "one wall red, one wall orange, one wall yellow", etc... which was a little much for me. So I convinced her to paint her room like the sky (blue with clouds) and we could get a "real" rainbow to cast across the room. She went for it. It doesn't work in the daytime at all, but at night, it's the perfect nightlight. It casts a rainbow light across her ceiling in an arc shape. It times out (turns off by itself), so I don't have to worry about it being on all the time or turning it off. We both really enjoy it.』
