『My boys have enjoyed this toy. It is hard to find the right bullets for it though. My husband bought the bullets he had read on the box that it takes, but they were not the same ones that came with the gun and they got stuck inside the gun. So make sure to get the same looking bullets or you could run out fast. Nerf bullets seem to get lost at our house.』

Thank you so much for the fast delivery and the totally fun toy. We have more than one kind of Nerf shooting toy. My grandsons use them all on their poor dad. The cats will snag a soft dart and run. The chihuahua just snorts and ignores the heavy toy fire. My son-in-law takes the darts in stride and chases two little boys around the house while they laugh and scream. Our house is, indeed, a noisy fun house.

『I was amazed at how cute this little hamster is and seems so real rolling around in the ball. It is great, especially for the low price. I know other brands are MUCH more expensive, but I don't see how any other hampster could be better than this one, it is precious! I bought some of the 'clothes' that people were selling for the zhu zhu pets and they fit great! I also got one for my Grandma's cat. I am not sure if the cat likes it too much, but my Grandma (100) loves it as well!』

Poor substitute for ZHU ZHU pet, which are now selling for $8.00 at Walmart(this was $11.00), it is significantly smaller and it does not make any of the hamster sounds. 『For a three year old girl to have a rainbow in her room is just the coolest. She loves it, she uses it as a nightlight and because of her blockout curtains she has rainbows in her room all times of the day. I would recommend this to any little kid who loves rainbows.』

『I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 3-year-old niece, and had super high hopes. On Christmas Eve, I tried it out before wrapping it, and it's a good thing I did. Rainbow in My Room is lame! A handful of Christmas tree lights and a mirror would do the same thing, and wouldn't cost $30!

The box makes it look like the rainbow travels across a room. That wouldn't even work in a broom closet. The range is tiny, and it's far from bright. Half the time, when you turn it on, at least one light doesn't work. Rainbow in My Room only stays on 10 minutes with (not-included) battery power, and doesn't come with an AC adapter. Radio Shack had no idea where I could even find one! Again, this thing was $30 -- plus shipping and batteries!

I literally had to buy a substitute present for my niece because this was that much less cool than I had hoped (a Wizards of Waverly Place magic wand, for what its worth, which was the star of the season). I still gave her this gift, but don't expect her to get any enjoyment out of it. I'll edit the score if it turns out she loves it. All girls love rainbows, but this rain-BLOWS.

Rainbow in My Room is a glorified nigh-light that's triple the price. Don't be enticed by its brilliant idea, because it doesn't deliver.』

『The product looks nice and colorful, but even with following the instructions and the double sided tape it does not stay on the shower wall, it just kept falling down and I would put it back up until one day I went in and the entire thing was in the tub, my two year old can't reach it, so I know he didn't tear it down. 『My grandson loves this toy, always wanting to play with it and sharing it with others. He is only 20 months old. I noticed that there can be "stains" on the toy if the drawing is not erased soon after it is drawn. The drawing pad seems to get darker with use. Otherwise, this toy is great.』

『I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 2-year old son. He absolutely loves this toy. He doodles on it by himself, and comes to me often asking to draw Mickey Mouse - his favorite character. My wife and I also draw letters of the alphabet for him and he loves to name them.

We take this toy with us on car trips, and it keeps my son occupied for some time, especially, if there is another passenger who can draw sitting next to him. One warning: this toy is a bit large for car trips, a smaller one would be better for this purpose, but I am not going to purchase two.

As others have mentioned, the pen is attached at the top, and while I agree that the placement is weird, it does not create a problem for us at all.』

『The good part is this is a cool night-light type gadget and my son has really enjoyed it that way. The problems with it are two-fold. The first is the battery issue, which many people have commented on. I eventually got rechargeables. The second is durability. For something that just hangs on the dang wall, the fact that it conks out like it does is ridiculous. Our first moon lasted a few months before the lights just quit working altogether. I took it apart and tried to repair it myself, but there were no obvious bad connections. Oh well, these things happen, so I replaced it. Well, the replacement lasted a lot longer, but it has just stopped working as well. This is INSANE! It's a set of lights with an electronic timer! It hangs on the wall! It doesn't get tossed around or dropped on the floor or carried in your pocket! Why should it EVER break? Or the remote. I have a remote keyless entry on my car, and that gets lugged around in my pocket, tossed on the table, etc., and it works fine after (at this point) seven years. I can only presume that the guts of this device are some of the shoddiest and cheapest imaginable. It's too bad, because its a neat idea, and as I said my son likes it a lot. But I'm not throwing more money away at this point.』

『Nowhere in the product description (including going back and rereading now) did I see that this product requires 4 AA batteries in addition to the 2 AAA batteries that are stated. I didn't expect to have to use more than the 2AAA. Okay, fine.

The battery compartments should be made to easily pop out like every other product on the market - NOT have to be unscrewed. Makes no sense to me and is a pain already.

The moon is okay, but not as exciting as I thought it would be. Maybe it'll grow on me as I use it in the dark.

Stock up on batteries for this toy. Now I wonder what the Rainbow in My Room will require besides the three AAA batteries listed in the description. Hope that item isn't as underwhelming as this one.』

『PLAIN AND SIMPLE
Ok lets leave my personal opinion out of this for a minute and just base this on facts. This moon performs as stated. It is textured and wit the craters and looks realistic enough (close enough for my 14yr old and under children, lets be honest how REAL do you really expect it to be!). No where on the box does it call it a TOY moon. Anybody can look at it and read the decription you would know your not going to just place this in your childs hands to 'play' with. Also YES in some settings it goes through some batteries faster, SO either only use it occasionally or buy rechargables if that bothers you. Which is more environmentally sound anyways, to the people that say this is a disposable product based on that one fact. ALSO YES the remtote is small and will be easily lost hence the fact this products age limit is 6 and up. If you think the remote will get lost by your child/ren YOU the adult should stay in possession of it. OR you can do what we have done with both of ours and get little strips of velcro and that takes care of that.

Now for my opinion. I LOVE this product we have one in the boys room 4&8, its been there for about 2 years and NO PROBLEMS. Yes we use it almost every night and take it down just to recharge the batteries, which takes just a few hours during the day, for a few months worth of use. We just recently saw this same exact product on clearance at Target ($12.98) and immediatly grabbed it for my daughters room 7&14. They used to beg to sleep in the boys room just to see the moon. They would 'camp out' in there and have had some great times together. So now the girls are happy evey night but they still ask to have 'camp outs' to have that special time with their brothers and I think thats awesome.

If you use this just as a night light or to facilitate your childrens natural curiosity and creativity, either way its a 5 star product. If I ever see these again at such a great price I will be buying more for when my kids move into their own rooms or as gifts, but it such a great product with realistically a decent price I would pay $20 if I had to.』

『Gave Moon in My Room to my nephew for Christmas. He's a very bright little guy and found this toy really fascinating. It seems he likes it for all the same reasons given by everyone else...but I would add two additional reasons. My sister in law loved it additionally because it lives on a wall, and they are now in a small NYC apt and space is at a premium. My nephew also seems to be in love w/ being the supreme commander of his own remote control (that comes w/ this toy)...so all around a big winner!!
