『My daughter saw this on T.V. and had to have it. She got it for her 7th birthday. The hamster is cute, and she still plays with that (on the hard wood floor - doesn't run well at all on carpet). However, I also bought her this funhouse along with the garage (worst piece) and the wheel. When you put it all together (which is not easy), the toy is huge. I don't really have the room for a big piece of plastic toy of this size, but I was willing to get it for her because it is all she wanted. Big mistake, you can't move it once you get it together or it falls to pieces. Sometimes the pieces just come apart. The garage never worked, and the wheel ramp never fit together correctly. This toy is such a waste of money. Holiday shoppers are getting scammed this year! Thank goodness I did not pay these ridiculous prices for this toy. I bought mine at Toys 'r us before I even knew it was going to be a big deal. To sum up - the hamsters are cute, but the rest is big, plastic junk that has now been under my daughters bed since the day after she got it (5 weeks ago) and has not seen daylight again.』

『We've got pretty much all of the accesories for the Zhu Zhu pets. The wheel actually does not move freely very well but the hamster will go down the tunnel get on the wheel and run in place then back down the tunnel. At first I was very dissappointed that the wheel wasn't really spinning (it does move but spinning is a stretch) but my 4 year old didn't seem bothered by it. now I actually kind of prefer this one because it's one that actually keeps the hamster contained in the funhouse. The slide lets the hamster out onto the floor as does the car and garage which is fine if you have a very large area for the whole set but the hamster runs better in the plastic pieces. As for durability the slide and garage are constantly coming detached (the 2 year old tends to knock them around) but this one has stayed attached pretty good, maybe because the tunnel is shorter than others. If you're not familiar with these you should know the accessories are snap together pieces - the plastic isn't flimsy but the fact that they just 'snap' together means they also snap apart rather easily. So while the accessories are constantly coming apart or detached they aren't breaking (which is good) but my 4 year old can't really snap them back together on his own so it's more work for me.』

(If the wheel spins for you, you're one of the lucky ones. Disappointment to my child.)

『I looked on youtube and saw that the wheel was working for the families that were on there. It looked cute and real so I got one for my daughter. I set it up as the directions told me to. The wheel never spun freely. The hamster will get in the wheel, get stuck, and back its way out of it. Complete disappointment to me but most importantly a disappointment to my 4 year old. The car and garage has some issues too but still works somewhat. The wheel doesn't not work at all for us. So if you purchase this product its sort of like playing the lottery. If it works you're one of the lucky ones. If it doesn't, you're stuck with a piece of crap.』

『I love this. One problem, it smells and tastes like rubber. It squeaks which is adorable, but dog gets too interested! My son likes this as a little toy rather than a teether!』

『This is really perfect to get for your baby at a younger age than my 10 1/2 month old twins. But since it wasn't expensive and both of my babies could use it, I decided better late than never. They still put everything in their mouths and drool, so it's still great for them.

This is a teether that is good for handling. My babies pick it up and handle it more than the other teethers, and it's rubber unlike all their other teethers. I put this one on top of other toys and it gives them something to do, moving this giraffe around, carrying it around while they crawl, and always putting in their mouths.

Vulli (the giraffe's name) is fairly big. There's a lot for a baby to work with for teether purposes. I think this toy is worth the price, and it appears so far to be indestructible.』

Yes, there is a bit of gaging that goes on but like I have seen in other reviews it's no more than with his own fingers. My dislike for the item comes into play only because we have 2 dogs and Sophie looks and sounds like one of thier toys so they are relentlessly persuing the baby when he has the giraffe. It is really annoying and a little dangerous, if any of you have dogs and they go crazy for thier own toys they will do the same for Sophie so buy with the knowledge that you need to guard it with your life as well as your baby when they are using the toy.』

『I bought this toy for my grandson this coming Christmas. Although he hasn't seen it, yet, I know my rough-and-tumble boy is going to love it. Of course, I had to check it out! Typical of everything I've seen from Playskool, this truck is tough and is going to stand up to a lot of play. The voice is clear and easy to understand. The moment he speaks to it, and it drives, it will become an instant best friend and favorite playmate for this only child. The truck's soft nose means it won't wreck any furniture (or sleeping animals), and it's not obnoxiously loud like many toys. "Chuck the truck" would make a great toy for any active 2-4yr. old (and their grandpa!)』

『I got this for my sons aged 5 and 7. Great value, hate all the little teeny, tiny pieces that will FOR SURE get lost, swept up, vacuumed up,e tc., but otherwise a great starter set for kids. Good booklet too with building ideas, however I wish they had included more building ideas, especially to stimulate the imagination of my younger son. Overall, excellent produce though. Only one suggestion to lego with this kind of container -- maybe a sub section just for the teeniest of pieces? Otherwise, overall A+』
