I am currently going to school, and when I take out the AC adapter, my headphones, and this mouse, it is all one tangled mess!
Even with the relatively short cord (in all, the whole thing is about 35" from end to end), between the three things mentioned about, it still all turned into a big tangled mess.
I think a wireless mouse would at least eliminate some of the tangle.
Also, $17 is a bit much for a simple corded USB mouse I think, but it is quite responsive, but then again, with a 10" screen, it doesn't take much movement to move across the entire screen. Also, this mouse is pretty low profile (about 1" tall), and is only 3" long, and 2" wide, in case anyone has any problems with low profile mice.

(Clear mcover for Asus Eee PC 1005 PE) 『With certain hesitance I purchased one purple for my daughter's 1005HA and one clear for my wife's 1005PE as only two reviews on mcover for 1005HA/PE were not very positive with complaint focusing on its bottom covers. Well I cannot comment on what kind of product others received but I am surely happy with my purchase. I also kind of wonder if others followed installation instruction correctly since there is a specific installation instruction attached to bottom cover. When I installed these two bottom covers I read the instruction carefully and followed that exactly. Well the instruction was simple enough with common sense saying basically to snap back side first then front side without using strong force. As an engineer it has always been my habit to read instruction first anyway. So anyway for me these bottom covers fit both versions perfectly without any issues. There was no issue with the top cover either: once it snaps in, it fits with the computer tightly. Another point I would like to comment is that both my daughter and wife love the retractable feet at the bottom cover which provides better typing position. Definitely I would give 5 thumb for the mcover.』
(Just what I wanted (not quite)) 『I just received my mCover for an Asus Eee PC 10.2-inch 1005HA netbook. I was blown away with how well the hard plastic shell fit my computer. I took the thing out of the box and quickly snapped it onto my Asus Eee and it fit perfectly. I mean--perfectly. The cover is exactly what it was purported to be and was purported to do.
I bought the clear version of the mCover (it comes in 9 transparent colors) because I wanted the blue color on my netbook to show through. The shell is actually in two parts--one cover for the top and one for the bottom of the netbook. There are four little unobtrusive tabs on each section of the shell that hold the covers firmly. There are cooling vents on the bottom half of the shell and the back side is open for removal of the battery. There are two little retractable feet on the bottom cover that give the keyboard a slight tilt for more comfortable typing. These need to be engaged in order to prevent the computer from tipping backward slightly while in use.
The cover protects all of the outer surfaces and corners of the netbook and when attached, the computer still fits into the Neoprene travel sleeve that comes with the Asus Eee PC. The cover is priced right and it is exactly what the smaller netbooks need to protect them during travel. The mCover is well designed and well made. It is a winner.
UPDATE:
No it is not a winner. I am sorry to report the bottom half of the plastic mCover is no longer usable as one of the mounting tabs snapped off makeing that part of the shell impossible to attach. I still use the upper half of the shell as a protection for the lid on my netbook, but the bottom half is a candidate for the trash. I am indeed sorry about the positive review I posted only weeks earlier.

The speakers could be a little better, but let's face it you're not buying a screen that supposed to have Bose speakers. The built in speakers get the job done just fine, and if you really have that much of a problem with them then you can always hook the screen up to some external speakers. (Great Monitor) 『Pros: Great Monitor, 1080p, fast 2ms response time, good brightness and contrast, and very sharp picture. I use the HDMI connection because I have a 22" Samsung (2253LW) in dual mode next to it. I have a Klipsch speaker system and haven't tried the speakers. My OS is Windows 7 with Windows Media Center which I record off the air HDTV/DTV for viewing at later time over this monitor. There are 66+ HDTV/DTV channels that I pick up free using Silicondust HDHomeRun HDTV tuners hooked up to a indoor antenna. HDTV looks very good.
Cons: One dead pixel in the upper corner of the screen. I would not have seen it if I had not gone looking for one. I never notice it and had forgot about it until I started this review. The presets are not as useful as Samsung presets as I am using this monitor to view HDTV. After dragging a picture back and forth several times between this and my Samsung I got it adjusted. I also compared it to my Plasma and it looks very good.
Other Thoughts: You will not find a better monitor with the same specifications for the money.』
(Great quality... impressive!) 『I've had this monitor for more than a month and have had very little difficulties with it. When it initially came to me I really only had to snap the base to the monitor and hook it up so props for making this thing very simple to set up and get going.
Have to fiddle around with the settings as the defaults were quite bright no matter which choices I selected it seemed quite blinding to look at very long and not get a headache. The interface to change these settings is a bit frustrating to go through although the variety of settings is possibly what makes learning how to change the settings the benefit.
I have also liked the fact of it being a power saver in that it will put itself to sleep regardless of your computer settings. This can be a hassle watching videos though fumbling through the settings there is a way to shut off the sleep settings.
Overall, the most impressive thing is how crisp the quality is even at the 1080p range it has there is almost no loss of quality no matter the settings the colors and vibrance come through amazingly. Makes playing games or watching movies all that more enjoyable and fun.』

(As good as could be expected) 『This monitor is great. I had no bad pixels and the picture quality is great in it's native resolution. The picture brightness is consistent from edge to edge with no loss in quality. You do not need to back away from the monitor to see the full screen clearly. Picture quality suffers if you use full screen in a lower resolution than the 1920 x 1200. If you need to use a 4 to 3 screen ratio, change the aspect ratio to use it. The 2 inches of black screen on each side of the monitor is better than the out of proportion picture. 1 to 1 has excellent picture quality but defeats the purpose of having a large viewing area. If you need the resolution, this monitor will do it with decent quality. I feared that the higher priced monitor with the webcam would have better specs than this one but the monitor specs are identical. This Monitor is fantastic! It does require some tinkering out of the box. It is very bright, and does have a VERY slight blue tint. For someone like me, who games, this thing is perfect. It looks so good, and I cannot see the horrible blue, and bleeding some reviews have mentioned. Blacks and Whites are close enough to pure that you won't notice unless your doing some heavy-duty image editing. IF you know your RGB adjustments, and play with the setting you will not regret choosing this monitor. (A great budget monitor with some flaws.) 『I do some digital art as a hobby and have a dual monitor setup. I picked this out as my primary monitor which this monitor isn't really suited for that purpose but I was on a budget. It works great but has some flaws...
As you can expect from a lower priced LCD, the color depth is slightly lower than true color. If try to look at a true gradient in a graphics program there is some minor "stepping" instead of a perfect gradient. Other than that, the color is great and it has a sharp picture.
One very annoying problem, though, is the presets. The monitor has a few modes: "scenery, standard, theater, game&night view". You can modify the color settings in each one and in the menus there are presets that are supposed to make it easier. They all suck. All the preloaded color settings have to be manually tuned right from the start. I only bothered manually tuning Standard Mode since there's not much reason for me to switch. I bought a 19" ASUS and that was the same so it's definitely a factory issue. If you don't mind fine tuning it for 20 minutes to an hour then you can get a real nice picture out of it, though.
In short: A nice monitor for the price. Requires some time to tune to colors but has a great picture.』
