(A decent product for its decent price) 『This graphic card works very well. Previously, I had GeForce 6800 XT but that was not enough to handle the new games that I bought out in the market. This well was well-matched for all the challenges I gave it. Overall, installiation wasn't too much of a hassle besides opening the case and plug and play. Installation is like nothing though. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Junk) 『Don't waste your money, the cover doesn't fit and it just is not a good buy. I guess you get what you paid for.』
(good for the money) 『this seems to work and fit well, its a great deal for the money compared to the "big box" stores』
(Great protection!) 『Unless your taking sissors and scraping the thing, your iTouch is pretty safe with this cover!』
(iPod Cover) 『I ordered this product. It took a long time to arrive but when I emailed the seller they refunded the entire amount. The product is fine but a little big for my iPod.』
(Price???) 『I didn't buy this product but i just wanted to let everyone know that i think someone screwed up when they put the price on here because i am pretty sure no one would buy an ipod case for $300 unless it was bomb proof or something.』 『Shelter your iPod iTouch 2g/3g from scratches and dust. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Must have addition.) 『I added this mouse to my new web book. The compact dongle allows me to leave it plugged into the pc, even in the snug case I have. The mouse works fine although the size is small for my hand, it's a worthwhile trade-off for the portability. I recommend this product.』
(Doesn't work) 『I bought this mouse to go with my Samsung Netbook. It will not communicate with my netbook at all. I called customer service -- they suggested that I try it on another netbook -- since I only own one of these devices that won't do me any good. Very disappointed that the company didn't take any responsibility for this item's lack of compatibility with my device.』
(very portable, but picky about the running surface) 『This mouse is great. I love the tiny nub. I have another wireless mouse, and it will run on anything, your leg, the sofa, briefcase etc. This one doesn't work well on anything but a matte surface, like a piece of paper. This may or may not be a problem for the average user, but it is a piece of information I would have liked to have before purchasing it.』
(Lightweight mouse great for any task) 『I was skeptical to buy a notebook mouse that was so small fearing complete I would have a cramped after five minutes of using it. However, I was pleasantly surprised because even though this mouse is dwarfed by my hand, I was able to comfortably complete several tasks including graphic design, web design, word processing, programming, and web browsing. The receiver is so small that you plug it in and forget it is even there. Battery life as well as its correlation with pointer precision has been on the positive end. The only downfall is the mouse never actually "turns off" after idling for several minutes. It is easy to turn off albeit easy to forget to turn it off. Finally, it has had full compatibility with Vista; no problems have arisen regarding OS meshing. Overall, this was a solid and economical buy.』
(Terrific) 『I bought this mouse for my grandson to use. He is four years old and had difficulty with a regular sized mouse. He loves this one. Actually, I like it better too.』 『The Kensington wireless mouse for netbooks is the simple, comfortable wireless mouse you need for your netbook. The nano USB receiver is so small, you can plug it in and leave it in. Plus, the built-in scroll wheel makes scrolling through web pages fast and easy - no more messing with the tiny touchpad on your netbook.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Doesn't fit and not worth it) 『This was such a disappointment. I didn't want a sticker that can bubble so I got this instead. You can tell it's designed specifically for this computer, but it's off just enough that it's essentially useless. The holes for the ports don't line up quite enough so you'll always be tugging at something. Save your money.』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Good basic board) 『Asus has several versions of this board depending on your needs. This is one of the basic versions. I've used Asus boards for years and they always included back chassis adapters for serial port, firewire and digital audio, but none of those are included here - just the MB connector for each. There is also no support for a floppy drive. If you still use them, you'll need to use an external USB floppy drive. The board supports 6 SATA devices (some of the higher priced versions support 8).
I'm using an i7 860 chip, 8GB Corsaire memory (4 sticks) and a Noctua NH-U12P SE cooler. There is ample room to access the memeory slots provided you orientate the Noctua top-to-bottom. If you orientate front-to-back, I'd install the sticks before mounting the Noctua.
The only utility I've played with so far is the Auto OC feature. When I tried it, it changed the stock 2.80Ghz up to 3.46Ghz which is where it still is. System seems to be very stable even over-clocked.
My only negative on this board would be the position of the two PCIEx1 sockets. They both lie between the two PCIEx16 sockets. My video card covers the first PCIEx1 socket rendering it useless.
This board/chip for me is likely an interim build (a year or two). Other than the debate on the future of socket 1156 vs socket 1366, I would expect to see onboard support for SATA6 and USB3.0 within a year.』
(Love this board - @ stock speeds with i7-860 it is incredibly cool, responsive and just feels fast.) 『I have a great ATI video card, and in my opinion every SLI based board is just huge $30+ tax to Nvidia so I really liked the fact that this has everything I need without paying more for features I don't want.
Some salient points you don't find in most reviews: 1. Extremely stable board - booted the first try and has been rock solid ever since. 2. Boot time is only OK - even without RAID or old parallel seem to take almost 16 sec. to get post screen and another 15 to get to the windows loading point. Time to first usability with Windows 7 is about 45 seconds without a lot of startup programs. 3. Onboard sound seems fine for me; the controlling UI is OK and functional and lets you do things like set the balance of your back speakers etc. 4. Sleep Mode works great - by enlarge this works very seamlessly, it shut off every fan in the system so it is totally quiet and speed time to resume is great. 5. With an SSD and Windows 7 you really never seem to wait for anything. 6. Asus has a great support forum and usually seems to churn out new bios updates and utilities. 7. Looks better in person than in the pictures where it seemed a little to pastel -- but in person it looks slick.
Negatives ---------- - There are 2 chassis fan plugs; 1 cpu and 1 "pwr". In speedfan you can only control the chassis fans together and you can NOT change the CPU fan by voltage (if you have a 3 prong fan instead of 4 prong) and you can never adjust the "pwr". - The Asus windows utilities look a little too cheesy and always seem way to big and clunky for what they actually do. - The memory bays are really close to the CPU - I don't think I could use 4 slots with the Noctura unless I moved the fan to be exhaust only.
Tips -------
- Remember to try and setup the hard drives to be AHCI rather than IDE. This shaved about 10 seconds off my boot time. - The stock BIOS didn't really do a good job w/ turbo-boost; but the 0711 Bios fixes that. 』 『This motherboard supports the latest Intel Lynnfield processors in LGA1156 package which has memory and PCI Express controller integrated to support 2-channel (4 DIMMs) DDR3 memory and 16 PCI Express 2.0 lanes providing great graphics performance. I sent my 790gx to ASUS as it died, but they sent me back one that also didn't work. So I bought this. I really don't care for ASUS anymore, so this will probably be my last ASUS buy. Didn't get my rebate from them, and wasted lots of money on a motherboard, and got basically nothing out of it. Thanks ASUS.』
(Asus tech support is unreal.) 『I actually don't own this board. I own another ASUS board. But this is relevant.
ASUS tech support is ASTOUNDING. The best I have ever used by far. They answer quickly-- I've never held for more then 3-5 minutes-- and when they do, oh boy. They hire people with real, serious tech training. They listen carefully and know problem causes by heart-- they're not using an automated troubleshooting system. They suggest a solution and then wait on the line while you try it, so you don't have to go to the trouble of calling back. They don't retreat after 2 minutes to telling you that come component X is no good and you need a new one, like so many tech lines. I've been using the same MOBO (A Striker Extreme) for three years, and their support is to thank for that. Additionally, they can help the tech-unsavvy and the tech-savvy in different ways. I'm pretty in-tuned, and when the tech I spoke to realized this he told me to grab a multi-meter and start poking around, which prevented us from having to test hunches in indirect ways, saving a lot of time.
I'm posting here (and on a few other asus board reviews) because I want people to know how awesome their support is and buy their stuff for that reason. I want the top guys at ASUS to see that this business model (spend more on keeping customers happy, make more on repeat sales) can succeed in a market where it is so rare. We need to show corporations that we respond well to being treated well, and maybe one day amazing tech support will be the standard.
I'm serious: I will never own a main-board other than an ASUS as long as they keep this level of customer respect. 』
(Little Giant) 『This is a great little mobo. Every output you could want and interesting features. Express gate allows you to surf the internet and check email without entering the OS(you can do this in a matter of seconds). It also has My Logo that lets you put any picture you want as a boot logo. The asus EZ flash is excellent and allows the easiest bios flash I have ever encountered. The board is completely stable with 800MHz ram but a little flaky with 1066MHz modules. There are only a select few that work well. It doesn't seem to like OCZ ram but runs fine with Corsair. All in all, an excellent little mobo.』
(Love it..) 『I haven't built a PC since the 90s when I first left college. I was a little apprehensive but felt I'd be able to get through it. No problems! This little board has everything I'm ever going to need, it was easy to set-up and the price was fantastic... It took me a few hours to put the thing together from the ground up and Vista went on no problem.... Great stuff.』
(Excellent for a Media Center PC) 『I just spent a weekend building a XP Media Center 2005 PC using this mini-ATX board. It has everything: HDMI output, optical digital audio output, and built-in ATI HD3200 video with Avivo.
Just run HDMI to your TV/monitor for video and the optical digital to your receiver for Dolby Digital...no need to buy an add-on sound or video card. If you want coaxial digital audio you can fabricate a RCA jack with two wires directly to the SPDIF jack on the board. That's what I did, works great.
HDMI tip: do not install a separate video card before first startup. Otherwise the Asus driver CD will not 'show' the ATI video drivers on the CD. If you pull the video board, the ATI and HDMI drivers magically appear on the CD as a choice to select. Puzzled me at first.
The only flaw I've seen is that it uses "auto-configure" rear panel jacks to sense what's connected. This means I have to have my plasma TV on and set to the HDMI input before I turn on the PC...otherwise the motherboard thinks the TV is off and disables its HDMI output. Kind if a pain as I then have to reboot the PC. Easy for me but not so easy for my wife and kids. Asus needs to allow this feature to be shut off in the bios.
**11/2009 update. I am using this with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and Media Center works great with this board. And yes audio does pass out of the HDMI jack, you just have to switch it from SPDIF to HDMI in the bios.』 『Catering to users who are looking for a powerful device to create an excellent home entertainment environment, ASUS, worldwide leader in motherboard production, has released the new ASUS M3A78 series. The new ASUS M3A78 series utilizes the AMD platform, and is equipped with exceptional support for analog/digital outputs - enabling the PC to be utilized as a home theater in the living room, and not just a computing tool in the study or bedroom. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (ASUS my pal from Amazon) 『I bought this a year ago. It has windows mobile 6 on it. A great PDA but the support from ASUS stinks. I can find NO info or help for this PDA when I web search. About a month ago (and it's only been a year) my battery started having problems. After several phone calls and finally getting a live voice, I was sent to a website to order a battery. What came was the wrong part. I can not get a live voice to find out what to do and keep getting sent (via touch tone phone) back to a website. So I sent an e-mail with info (including order number) and was told it could be 48 hours for a reply. That was over a week ago and I still haven't heard. I'm going to send it back with a letter. Tempted to ask for a refund but I need a new battery and have NO idea where to get one. Any suggestions. I will NOT recommend this product to anyone even though it does everything I want it to. They need BETTER support. Carol who is a little more than FRUSTRATED』
(Ok up to a point) 『Not as user friendly as the Palms but every Palm I've had just caused me problems. I agree with the other reviewer it is not the easiest to use as MP3 player or listening to Audible recorded books. It is difficult to set up unless you go to Microsoft and read and download the knowledge base they have for Mobile 5. I still do not know how I sync the thing since it always shows a not connected message every time I try. There are only a few tweaks needed to get this handheld working very good, instead of just so-so. However this said....if I had to choose between a palm and the MyPal 626....I would go with the Asus.』
(AMAZING!!!) 『I can't say enough great about this product. A real deal for the cost. It has amazing capabilites regarding all functions!』
(Great PDA) 『I purchased this unit to replace and old PDA. It works great. Wifi works great too. It picks up wifi hot spots very well. Have not found any fault with it yet. Mobil office is included.』
(great as pda, worse as wireless device) 『I got mine for a year. I love it as pda, ie. storing datas, writing and docs, etc. However, its wifi connection is no more than 2 rooms away inside my house that made me frustrated not to connect the device in many airports. Also, it does not support Java that means no Youtube, websites with stock index, etc. (although Youtube would play with its independent software that requires downloading-needs more space.)』 『The ASUS A626 perfectly combines versatility and style. This palm-sized marvel matches high quality with an impeccable standard of design and caters to the user's expectations for personal handheld accessories.Exceptionally slim at only 1.57 cm, the ASUS A626 really stands out from most of the other PDAs on the market. The casing is made of stainless steel and the whole PDA is less than 158g in weight. The most important feature is the fact that all data is stored in Flash memory, so precious information remains saved even if all battery power in the handheld has drained away. The ASUS A626 runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, and also provides true multimedia entertainment options. With its front-mounted speakers, it plays video and audio formats and has a huge library of games available for the Pocket PC platform. For its size, the A626 is simply the most versatile mobile entertainment gadget. With the combination of powerful applications and an ultra-slim outlook that radiates high quality, the A626 is a PDA of choice for the well-heeled and well-traveled.』 『A great productivity companion that will keep you connected to email and the Internet, the ultra-slim, palm-sized ASUS A626 PDA stands out from other PDAs on the market. Weighing just over 5.5 ounces, it features a brightly colorful 3.5-inch anti-glare touchscreen LCD and durable, fashionable stainless steel case. In situations where utilizing a notebook is more hassle than convenience, the A626 will help you stay productive and connected with its Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and 54g Wi-Fi LAN (802.11b/g) for downloading email and surfing the Web in both corporate and coffeehouse environments.
With ASUS's user-friendly Remote Presenter application, the A626 can also be easily utilized to remotely link and control presentations on a computer via Bluetooth. You can expand the A626's memory vie optional Secure Digital (SD) memory cards.
The Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC operating system includes the Microsoft Office Mobile suite, which features Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, and PowerPoint Mobile.
