『I bought this machine (ASUS 900HA) back in January. It is now November and after having it for almost a year, I will say this machine is fantastic. I have had no problems with this machine whatsoever. I love that it is the smaller 8.9 inch model as opposed to the 10 inch model because it is small enough to fit in my purse. The battery life after a year with settings on optimal still last about 3 hours after a fresh charge. I bought the upgrade memory at the time of purchase and that works just fine. I tell anyone who is looking to purchase a netbook to get the ASUS because for me it has been reliable. I went on a trip overseas and used skype with the built in microphone and it worked flawlessly. This is a good product but a shame they have discontinued the 8.9 inch model for the bigger model.』

『This great little machine has replaced my desktop PC. It's easy to plug in my desktop monitor, wireless keyboard&mouse, and speakers. Being rural, I use my cell phone for internet access so I can unplug from home and be on the road in seconds.

I did experience a hard drive problem, as others have mentioned. Asus customer service far exceeded my expectations. A quick phone call and I had an authorization number and sent it off. I had it back, good as new within a week. I'll even give them extra points for being environmentally aware. They shipped it back in the same box with the same packing materials!

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Asus product.』

『POOR PRODUCT: This instable motherboard was incapable to turn off the CPU fan when the PC was completly off. Additionaly, this board took the PSU out which has to be replaced.

MEDIOCRE ASUS SUPPORT: Their support representatives barely read the failure description and fake to answer. You are on your own to perform the trouble shooting. Then, their RMA service is even worst

『This board has exceeded my expectations. It is an easy overclock and very stable. With very minor changes to the Vcore, FSB, and multiplier was able to achieve 4.1GHz with an E8400. Proven stable for 24hrs running Orthos small FFT's (priority 9). I have an aftermarket cpu HSF (older Zalman) and temps at 100% load (orthos) do not exceed 53C, as measured using Real Temp 3.00 (distance to TJMax 47C). The distance to TJMax was confirmed using readings direct from the sensors using CrystalCPUID. This board was so impressive, I now have three systems with it and all perform equally well.』

『Prior to buying this item I strongly urge you to read the current reviews on this motherboard. Particularly ASUS' own Forums.

While some of the other P5Q series seem to be ok, the P5Q Deluxe has many reviews about how unstable it is.

My own experience was as bad as it gets. The latest BIOS seems to be a particular minefield of problems, so stay away from that. you must also be highly technically competent to be capable of doing many of the things necessary to get the board stable, even in basic configuration. I never managed to get it stable, my average was about 15 mins between BSOD.

This board was the worst disaster that I've come across with motherboards and I hope you have more luck than I did.

I'm now running a Gigabyte board with all the same peripherals that DIDN'T work on the ASUS, and I've not yet had any problem.』

『Here's what you've been looking for a long time. Accepts just about any 775 cpu,DDR2 memory,x16 PCIe graphics,overclocking software and a great bios set up (for those who know how to use it) to manually adjust output performance. This is rated as good as the Maximus Formula II (P45) and sells for a lot less. I have to say, no troubles what so ever and I highly recommend installing the AHCI SATA drivers when loading an OS, the hot plug features are enabled and the SATA II speed will run vs. EIDE mode.
Asus has a great reputation, they support their products very well with updates although their website is a slow poke most of the time. There's ton's of value in Asus products.』

『This board was disappointing. I prefer Asus boards and this board with it's Intel Q9550 processor, dual Raptors in a raid 0, config, 8 GB of RAM, Windows XP x64 is an oinker compared the Asus A8N Sli Deluxe with AMD 4400, 4 GB, dual Raptors that it replaced.

The BIOS is definitely put together by a committee without much regard as to how the whole thing fits together.

The BIOS seems to forget any change to it's boot settings when power is removed.

In short, I'm disappointed. I expected better from Asus.』
