『This is a nice bunch of handy tools to use for canning. The only one I don't like is the magnet on a stick. (You use it to pick up lids and rings out of hot water). The magnet isn't really strong enough to sucessfully hold onto a lid or ring long enough to get it out of the water. I ended up using my husband's telescoping magnet out of his tool box! All the other tools are great and very useful.』

『I have suffered from neck pain for several years, and have recently been going to physical therapy weekly. When I saw this product and read some of the user reviews, I decided it was worth a try. The cost was less than my co-pay for one PT appointment. It's not a bad product, but I did not get the relief that I read about in several of the reviews. I found that I get just as much relief from putting a neck roll under my pillow. Apparently, some people experience a lot of relief with this product, and it's not a big investment, so you might give it a try. Personally, I think I'll stick with my neck roll.』

『If you are a fan of the band, this dvd is a must purchase. All things considered, its an excellent keepsake of the Feat circa 70's. This dvd was shot just before the recording of one of the greatest live albums ever, the Feat's Waitin for Columbus, so if you enjoyed (and still enjoy) that record, you'll really enjoy one of the few, if any, good quality audio/video representations of the Feat from that era. And its great to see Lowell George again - a true rock n roll giant.』

『Skin It Back

The appearance of Little Feat at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany, in July of 1977 was unusual in more ways than one:

First there was Peter Ruechel, creator of the Rockpalast (Rock Palace), who was a long time fan of the band. A year earlier he had gone to a Rolling Stones concert in Stuttgart just to see Little Feat, who were the opening act. From then on he worked like crazy to arrange for their appearance at the Rockpalast. It was to happen during the first long RP night, and it was to be broadcast live all over Europe.

Then there were the local TV crews, who got their first experience in filming and broadcasting 3 rock concerts that went on all night long.

Little Feat's music seemed unusual to some, and they were relatively unknown in Europe, although they had reached a high point in their creativity in the USA. They were, and still are today, at their very best during live performances, and members of the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin were often found among the concert goers.

Bootlegs, unauthorized live recordings, had flourished for years on the black market. So Little Feat decided to release an official live album, which was recorded in London and Washington, DC during the 7 shows after the historic Rockpalast appearance. The result was "Waiting for Columbus", by many fans and critics considered to be the best live rock album of all times, even though it was overdubbed in the studio later.

The Rockpalast concert is pure live Little Feat, as is breathtakingly evident on "Skin It Back". Although the VHS version, and later the 2000 DVD version with commentary from keyboardist Bill Payne and guitarist Paul Barrere circulated for years among fans, this new release is the one that really kicks! Both audio and video have been remastered for a listening pleasure beyond comparison.

As a bonus there is the 30 minute sound check from the afternoon of July 23, 1977, a real diamond in the rough with its seven tracks, including "Rock And Roll Doctor" which, unfortunately, didn't make it into the recording of the show. These tracks, known only to a few insiders, have been pulled from the holy grail of the Rockpalast to be enjoyed by all like a fine, rare wine.

30 minutes of bonus material might not sound like very much, but 30 minutes is a long time for a sound check. Cameras are everywhere, giving the viewer the feeling of being right there on stage with the band for the first Rockpalast night. It is obvious that the TV crew is testing their limits and that Little Feat themselves are having a great time.

Not a trace of the rumored tension between band members, except for one time during the show when Lowell George left the stage during "Day At The Dog Races" to demonstrate that the jazzy instrumental was not exactly his cup of tea.

Unlike the rest of the DVD, the bonus tracks have not been remastered, giving viewers the chance to experience this piece of rock history as it was originally recorded.

Kudos also to the extensive info in the liner notes, which includes a story by Peter Ruechel about his memories of the first Rockpalast night with Little Feat and many previously unpublished photos.

Little Feat "Skin It Back - Live At Rockpalast" is not just for die hard Featfans, but also a must-have for all friends of excellent, timeless rock music recorded by a band at the peak of their creativity.

(A Great Document from a Classic Era)
『After waiting a month to receive this, I am not disappointed. Lots and lots of great music here. Some bands, however, I think are represented a little too much, while others aren't represented enough. Also, some of the banter has been edited out from previous versions. I particularly like the introduction to Joan Baez's "Drug Store Truck Drivin Man", which was dedicated to "the Governor of California, Ronald RAYGUN...ZAP!" Classic, but it's not here. Nor is the introduction to "Sweet Sir Galahad." I could have used more Joan Baez, more Richie Havens, CSN&Y, Janis, The WHO (especially The Who), and LESS Country Joe and The Fish, the Incredible String Band (really bad), and Canned Heat. And the Hendrix segment seems edited. I seem to remember the "Woodstock Improvisation" and "Villnova Junction" pieces being longer. And why play only the end of "Voodoo Child"?

Still, there's so much good stuff on here, it's hard to complain too much. The best we can hope for is that more artists release their entire performance.

Listening, seeing, and reading about this concert, I really wish I had been there, but alas, I wasn't born yet. There will never be another concert like this.

I listen to audience tapes and do not mind imperfection so it would have been nice to hear the groups that are not represented, even if there are difficulties with the recordings. I have really enjoyed hearing this set. By the way, that it is not Jerry Garcia on the announcement. I believe it is Ken Babbs from the Merry Pranksters as he is the MC of a Grateful Dead show at Venetia Oregon in August 1972 and he has a destinctive voice. Thanks for the release.』

『I have had this CD for awhile, but I recently got a 64G Itouch and loaded all of my music (over 22G so far) and organized some cool playlists so I am listening to it more. I thought this album was just okay the first time through, Heart on my Sleeve is great and I liked "To Love Somebody" - nice cover of an old song. But the more I listen to it the more I like this collection. I have it in a playlist with David Cook, Daughtry, Constantine Maroulis and Kris Allen (Idol Albums) and this one really holds its own. I think it is worth getting if you like soulful/jazzy kinds tunes. He does have a soothing voice too.』

『After suffering with back pain for months and using doctor prescribed strong painkillers, I got very little relief and wasn't keen on continuing using painkillers long term. Gradually I started researching alternatives and read reviews for this video and bought it. I don't have enough good things to say about this video, it gave me relief within days, I don't have back pain anymore. Now I use this tape just for stretching after a long day at work. I like Rodney Yee's calming voice, he has a pleasant face and the background music is soothing too. After this yoga I feel relaxed and can sleep better, this is a great buy for those with lower back pain.』

I tried the latter, thinking she would be less aggressive. Wrong! I had to discard that one immediately. Yee is far easier on a new guy- and his back! 『I have back problems from minor aches to severe nerve pinches, depending on how I sleep and how often I take (or don't take) breaks from my desk job during the day. No matter how my back feels at the end of the day, doing this video ALWAYS makes it feel better. 『Con este increible y sabio mensaje comienzo mi opinion acerca de una de las mejores terceras partes que he visto en mi vida; de 1985 nos fuimos a 1955, y ahora regresamos hasta 1885!!!; hay elementos infaltables, desde nuestro joven Marty McFly (Ahora alias "Clint Easwood"), el divertidamente loco profesor, el tipo grosero y rudo que ahora es un bandido del oeste (aunque el actor es el mismo que interpreta al abusivo "Beef") y hasta vemos EL RELOJ!!! (que en ese momento era recien inagurado); la historia, al igual que las anteriores, te mantiene amarrado al asiento, llegando a momentos criticos y hasta llenos de adrenalina y ansiedad;la mas agradable novedad es esa profesora dulce, tierna y sincera de la cual nuestro profesor se "enamora", por la cual experimentara por primera vez este sentimiento; una pelicula que nos deja un magnifico sabor a "western", rompiendo el molde de sus antecesoras (y de una magnifica forma) y cerrando con un final muy comico e impactante una de las mejores trilogias del pasado siglo XX.』

『Excellent! Almost as good as the first Back To The Future! Brings all the installments into focus and finishes the trilogy in fine fashion.』

(Saddle up Cowboy... it's a Wild West adventure for Doc and McFly.)
『As soon as Marty and Doc get ready to go back to 1985 from 1955, the Delorean is hit with a lightning bolt and sends Doc somewhere in time. As Marty is standing there in 1955, confused on what to do, a mailman comes up to him, handing him a letter addressed to him, from 1885, from Doc. The letter says that he hid the Delorean in a cave, and to use it to get back to 1985 and to not come to 1885 to rescue him. But when Marty finds out that Doc dies from a gunshot to the back, he decides to not listen to Doc and head back to 1885 to save Doc from dying. But when he arrives in 1885, he busts his fuel line, leaking out all the fuel. And in 1885, there is no gasoline. So while Doc and Marty try to figure out how to get back to 1985, they must also try and not die by the gun of Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen, the relative of Biff.

While part 3 feels like part 1 and 2, it almost feels totally different. It being more of a western has a big hand in that also. And I love westerns, so I love part 3. Honestly in my review of part 2, I said part 1 is probably my favorite, but I really don't know. I love all 3 parts equally because even though they all have the same premise, they are all so different at the same time. In part 3, I absolutely loved the character of Buford Tannen. He was absolutely hilarious. And he really felt like he was a bad guy from back in the west. The way he talked and the way he looked. I also liked how a lot of part 2 hinted at parts of part 3 (since they were both made back to back). For instance, Marty sees a picture of his great grandfather in part 2 and he says something like "Good looking guy", but in part 3 we find out it was really Marty himself. And definitely one of my favorite parts of all 3 movies is here in this movie. The final scene with the train trying to get the Delorean to the future was done really well.

For the final part of the trilogy, I really couldn't have asked for more. Definitely a great ending to a great trilogy that will be loved for a long time by children and adults. OWN THIS!


P.S. - So why didn't Marty and Doc just go to the cave that Doc put the Delorean in to siphon gas from it to put it into the Delorean that needed gas instead of trying to use a train to get it to the future. DOH! =)

『i like the optimism in this film.when the lightning strike the delorean and doc is gone,it was sad and depressing in the end of bttf 2 and marty was all sad and looks like he is stuck all alone in 1955...but then again there is the other doc of 1955 that can help him-all he has to do is explaining this doc all the story and make him help.

and ofcorse,the important sentence and idea of this film and whole the trilogy-that the future isnt written and it is what u make of it. if time travel was a reality we could really write the future and present as we want them,but since its not the case the least we can do is getting control on what we do now in order to build a better future for ourselves-being more assertive to get what we want,then we will achieve the success and we will have a beautiful future.we make our own destiny and not only the circumstances or luck.

(A Perfect Ending To The Trilogy!!!)
『Although I don't love it as much as the first two, it's still pretty good! It takes place right after the second ended. Marty is stuck back in 1955 and needs Doc's help to get back to his time. They find the DeLorean in an old mine shaft and fix it up. Marty then finds Doc's tombstone that says that he died in 1885! So, Marty takes the DeLorean goes goes back further in time to save Doc from being shot by Buford 'Mad Dog' Tannen. Doc saves Clara Clayton and they slowly begin to fall in love. Doc and Marty get the DeLorean ready to be pushed by a train to go back to the future, but Doc wants to stay because he loves Clara. Will Marty make it back to 1985? Will Doc stay with Clara? Will Doc be shot by Buford Tannen? If you want the answers, I highly recommend BACK TO THE FUTURE PART III!!!』

『I have loved this movie since I was a teenager, and as a history buff I really love seeing different viewpoints of WWII other than the soldier's. It's a unique view of the adjustments that had to be made for the British people after the war. The movie is superbly done, Hayley Mills is a treat to watch, and the other actors are wonderful. I highly recommend this movie - it's a great family film!』

『I first saw this movie several years ago and continue to watch it from time to time as the story is a timeless one of courage and spirit that keeps one going. The characters very realistic and so is the story of a young girl that returns to England after being sent away during WW II for 5 or 6 years, and is hit by culture shock and the old world class system. Hayley Carr is excellent as Rusty (why hasn't she done anything since?) and Hayley Mills is excellent as her mother. I like Birdie's character, too, who is a buffer between Rusty and her family when she first returns. WHY ISN'T THIS MOVIE ON DVD???? I just can't understand why any movie that is already on VHS isn't automatically made into a DVD? I'd love to buy this on DVD.』
