I love Safe Cat collars! When I saw these, I knew my girls had to have them. They are well worth the price. Well made, easily adjustable, and very safe breakaway clasp. Every collar I get for my girls will be a safe cat collar.
I bought two of these collars for my little pirates. They look adorable in them. I removed the bell so they can sneak up on their victims when they are plundering. Now my boys are ready to go catch mice on the boat, and look good while they do it. Anchors away!
I bought this collar for my Fiancé's cat because I thought maybe if he had some cool attire I would like him more. He's a moron so it didn't make me like him anymore BUT he looks great wearing the collar. It has a tiny bell that you can remove if you choose and it has a adjustable strap which is great because it fits around his fat neck. The skulls and swords are nicely stitched and all around it's a good product.

(SUBLIME ARTISTRY AND A MAGNIFICENT VOICE)

French by birth, training and career, Gerard Souzay stands head and shoulders above any singer in the field of the French art song. His creamy lyric baritone and subtle artistic identity and demeanor was essentially unsuited (and certainly underpowered) to the more overtly stated emotions that make opera so unique, so early on Souzay directed his finely tuned artistic instincts to the more intimate forum of the French art songs of Gounod, Faure, and Debussy, and to the"lieder"of Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms. In the latter he was rivaled only by the formidable Dietrich Fischer-Diskeau while in the former he was rivaled by none in the twentieth century. There are numerous Phillips and EMI recordings (most of which are currently unavailable) which ably testify to the beautiful artistry of Gerard Souzay. Here is another, and it is so special that I have found myself returning to it repeatedly since having acquired it recently. The selections here were recorded in the late 1940's, but the sound (forgiving some surface noise) is perfectly listenable, with the voice and piano accompanyment coming through vividly and cleanly. Souzay was nearing thirty and his voice was as beautiful an instrument as one could ever hope to hear anywhere. In art songs by Gounod and Faure, Souzay sings not only with unsurpassing beauty of sound, but with great imagination and extraordinary phrasing. The songs are very attractive to begin with, but Souzay makes them a truly enriching and beautiful experience. To hear this music performed so idiomatically is something one may experience once in a musical lifetime. The German and Italian selections are almost as impressive. Schubert's quiet and haunting"Nacht und Traume"finds Souzay singing as though he himself were in a dream, where his perfectly controlled soft notes seem to evaporate into the silence of night. Durante's"Vergin tutt'amor"may not have the Italian passion that a Pavarotti could have brought to it, but it has a flawless delivery and a unique beauty on its own terms. Gerard Souzay was gifted with possibly the most beautiful baritone voice of his time, and his elegance and"brush strokes"of interperetation in song literature and lieder is something to treasure and cherish. For anyone interested in knowing what truly great vocal artistry is all about, this disc is a must!

Influential artists are highlighted on this compilation ~ Hank Ballard&The Midnighters, Boyd Bennett&His Rockets, Jackie Brenston, Roy Brown, The Chanters, The Charms, Eddy Clearwater, Mac Curtis, Bill Doggett, The Dominoes, Charlie Feathers, "5" Royales, Wynoie Harris, Bull Moose Jackson, Little Willie John, Trini Lopez, Bonnie Lou, Big Jay McNeely, The Midnighters, Moon Mullican, Otis Redding&The Pinetoppers, The Sheiks, Joe Tex,Titus Turner and Young John Watson.

A winning mixture of slapstick with sentiment, this black and white Republic Pictures vehicle for talented bumpkin Judy Canova profits from the well-liked comedienne's vaudeville background, thereby evading sugary components that should have lessened the appeal of a work that additionally includes a very experienced cast and crew under the able direction of veteran Charles Lamont. Canova, playing as herself, is employed as charwoman and general maintenance worker at her aunt's hotel in "Greebville", striving to earn enough money to cover mortgage payments for her run-down "ranch" where she lives along with three orphaned youngsters and, as a means of forestalling boredom, Judy is also subscribing to a mail order course with the Continental Correspondence School, hoping therewith to find true love. After fibbing to her aunt and cousin that she has already found a beau, the fanciful "Poindexter March" who is coming while on military leave to visit her by bus, Judy is driven to the town's bus station where she desperately accosts a single man (Robert Lowery) and persuades him to pose as her swain, presenting a golden opportunity for him, because he is a confidence man, and her abrupt attachment to him enables "Poindexter" to shift into high gear with his crime partner for a swindle of the locals, eventually drawing out the greedy worst from Judy's relatives along with the small town's banker. The film, shot in the San Fernando Valley, is paced nicely, having nary a dull moment, and editing by Arthur Roberts is accomplished in crisp fashion. Considered a musical comedy, the work showcases Canova performing three numbers, including her well-known rendition of "Sleepy Serenade" and a newly composed novelty item, "I'm Awful Glad I Was Born On My Birthday", all lip synched here. The film's characters are more provincial than hayseed, and a well-written screenplay supplies interest within a viewer for each. Sprightly Canova is always enjoyable to watch in action, and she is ably backed here by a talented supporting cast of largely seasoned actors, Richard Deacon gaining performing honours for his astringently humourous turn as an avaricious bank official attempting to foreclose upon Judy's ranch for his personal financial benefit, while even the three children cared for by Canova play smoothly, closely coached by director Lamont.
A great Saturday Matinee movie. Judy Canova is always entertaining and gives a positive attitude to every situation. Her way of handling things always saves the day and you always want to stay in the theatre and see her movie over again. She's delightfully corn-pone and magical.
I have not seen the DVD, so this review is from a VHS tape that was released some years ago. The star of this movie is Judy Canova, who had a radio show in the late 40s. In her radio show, Judy played a hillbilly who ended up in Hollywood - as such, that show was the predecessor to the Beverly Hillbillies. In Lay That Rifle Down, Judy owns a ranch and has taken in three orphans. She has trouble keeping up the mortgage payments and has to work at a hotel in the city to make ends meet. The bank manager is trying to foreclose on the ranch and the hotel owner drives Judy like a slave. On top of that, Judy is trying to find a man to marry and is using a correspondence course to look cultured to achieve this end. Being teased about the course and her attempts at improving her appearance, Judy lies and says she already has a boyfriend. Pressed with this, Judy gets a passenger just off the bus to pose as her boyfriend. This man takes to the role a bit too enthusiastically and it is revealed he is a con man taking advantage of a great opportunity to run a scam. How Judy deals with all this is what drives the story. The movie does wrap this up with a by today's standards contrived chase and the expected last laugh at the end. One of the funny moments in the film is seeing Judy's attempt at applying makeup per the instructions in the correspondence course. Other moments deal with an elevator that needs fixing (did they ever work like that?) and bringing hot water to the rooms (I guess the hotel had no running water in the rooms). The production and story are standard 50s fare. This is a nice family movie, with the unsophistication of the 50s.

This book is beautifully written and illustrated, and contains lots of fun spells and ideas for creating your own spells. Although I don't take this informatin 100% seriously, there is something to be said for creating a spell for something you want, because it creates positive energy, positive thoughts and "good karma," and that is probably the essence of any sucessful spell or ritual. Most of the items you need for these spells are not expensive, and many are items you probably already have in your household. If you have a good imagination and open mind, read it, try some spells and have fun!
This book is more entertaining than useful. It has nice pictures and includes different spells from different countries (which was neat). But, overall it wasn't really practical.
Book took a month to be delivered. Some pages were missing.
I guess this is what I get for buying used product.
This is a pretty good book on white magic. I enjoyed the spells presented in this book. The book is also hard back edition with string ties on the end you can use to keep the book closed and safe from damage.

I really liked the sealed spells presented in this book. I thought that was a great idea of the publisher.

Overall, the information that was presented, I thought was excellent! I refer to this book from time to time. The reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is because of the following reason:

1. Not enough spells .... The book concentrated on a lot of pretty pictures, when they could have included more spells. This probably helped the book sell a lot more copies, but content wise, it suffered because of this because more spells could have been included. The book is very pleasing to the eye though!

It has been a while since I have seen anything new on the market from the author ... I hope that she continues to write more in the future.

This is a very good series... I have read all five so far and I think #6 is going to be the best book in the series depending on how the author plays off the last book with the ex-boyfriend and the new one... We will have to see...
The only thing I don't like about this series is the books are to small and the stories in each book could be longer.. How ever it's still a very good series...
I really did like this, what I believe is the final installment of this series, I could be wrong. It was longer than the others which I was excited about, I enjoy Linda Joy Singleton's Seer series but felt her books were a bit on the light side. The only thing I did not like about this story was the way Sabine was written in this particular book. I really like Sabine's character and I felt Singelton didn't do a great job of channeling Sabine's personality in this book. I had to skip through several pages not wanting to read them because of the repition of Sabine's inner feud with herself. I kept thinking there was no way Singleton could keep writing this conversation Sabine has with herself over and over again. I thought I was going to scream if Sabine didn't pull her head out of her behind and stop going back in forth in her mind. I don't like Josh like that, I have feelings for Dominic, I am going to break up with Josh, no wait Josh is a good boyfriend I can't dump him, I suck for thinking about Dominic, my feelings for Josh are real, back and forth throughout the book it just gave me a headache. Other than that I was happy with Singleton's conclusions although I think towards the end of the book things seem rushed to be ended and came together a bit fast. It's a good read if you like the series but it isn't her best work.
This book was really good! It was very hard for me to put it down! Definitely a good ending to the series.
I really loved the book and was sad to see that it was the last one. I think she could keep going and talk about what's gonna happen with sabine and her sister.
i love Linda Joy Singleton and i hope if you people out there read it

This is a journal to go along with the Craft book from Dorothy. Mostly empty pages you write in. Not really needed.

At first, I was not into this book, but it grew on me, and now I'm in love with it. It is a spell on one page, and then a blank page on another for writing down whatever you want. If you like diaries or love to scribble in books, this one's for you.
This is a very good book but it shouldn't be recommended to novices without having first read Morrison's "The Craft: A Book of Shadows" in order for them to know what tools to purchase and how to prepare and handle them.
I think it was a tad bit careless of the author or publisher to include a certain spell about mirrors and the life beyond in a book clearly intended for beginners. Some doors shouldn't be opened by novices and some doors shouldn't be opened period. Be very careful about the spell you are about to perform and respect the work included in this book.
