.925 Sterling Silver Hearts Safety Chain to be used on your bracelet for added security should your bracelet become unclasped. There are two threaded heart beads attached with a chain.

Simply screw the first heart bead on the bracelet and slide it toward the locking clasp. Then add your favorite beads to the bracelet and screw on the second heart bead to complete your design. When putting the bracelet on your wrist, slide your hand between the bracelet and the safety chain. Close the locking clasp over the end of the bracelet.

Should your bracelet become unclasped the threaded heart bead and safety chain will prevent the bracelet from falling off your wrist.

The book, Body Guards: Protective Amulets and Charms, written by Desmond Morris is an absolutely enchanting view on the healing and protective beliefs of many cultures around the world. If you are interested in the mystical properties of protective amulets, crystals, religious symbols, ect. then this book would be a wonderful addition to your home library. The section in the book concerning the protective properties, history, and meaning of many religious symbols was very facinating, many of the artifacts shown I had never even heard of before. The jewelry shows a fine example of design and style, the craftsmanship of some of these adornments is stunning. This book will inspire you to search out new methods of healing and you might find a new found respect for the beliefs of others all over the world.
When it is threatened, the armadillo rolls up into a tight ball and is protected by its armor. Humans have no such armor and often we feel vulnerable as we go about our lives. We take special precautions daily to protect ourselves. From insurance policies to burglar alarms and pepper spray, we do practical things to feel secure. But they often fail to keep twinges of worry away. In over forty years of traveling and studying the human species, Desmond Morris has noticed that everywhere he has been, people always have some kind of lucky charm, protective amulet or talisman. This is a practical book for Wiccans in the real world. When the need to do a spell in a timely matter arises, you can easily obtain what you need or most likely have it on hand. I first found this book in 2002 and it has been a staple ever since. I have been a Wiccan practitioner for over 14 years, and I always check Lexa Rosean's books first. Every spell I have chosen from this book (and others) has brought me success, prosperity, and true love. I recommend her books to my fellow friends and priestesses and I also recommend them to you.
I bought this book when it first came out and I have used it constantly. It is worth the money and the spells use readily available items. I recommend this to anyone who needs a quick spell.
If you are in the market for a great little book of easy-to-perform spells organized by category with the exact rhyming couplets written out for you, this isn't it (try Dorothy Morrison). However, Lexa lays out some delightfully ingenious correspondences for the pagan without access to a glade or a stream or even an occult-supply store. Her style is largely anecdotal, leading the reader through the thought process she goes through to develop a spell. And her style is accessible, casual and fun. While you're not going to get step by step instructions here, you will get the inspiration you need to extrapolate your knowledge and to craft your own spells using everyday items. I refer to it again and again.
This is the grimore of a kitchen witch. I like how Rosean tells you that harming people is bad and them gives you the spell and lets you make your oven choice. I get annoyed when I am preached at and then an example isn't even given. The spells that she said could be used to controll some one gave me a great refrence to use to avoid such spells. There are other great tidbits took. I like the vacuming out of evil spirits. A great contemerary idea. Deffinatly for the modern witch.
Maybe something to perchase once fully into praticing magick(IE Wicca/Witchcraft). Not too much info on how to properly prepair for a magickal ritual.
