『I recently ordered this product -it was listed by one company that evening. I paid the $129-as most reviews were very favorable for this product. Upon ordering it mentioned there was a back order and would arrive until mid December. Fine! To my surprise it arrived 2 days later. Wow!- The machine is great! and I am not one to get excited about cleaning devices! But it works (so far) like a dream- we used it in several rooms and were amazed at the ease of use along with overall cleaning abilities. Love the ability to swivel around items -not bulky at all. And not flimsy at all. So easy to use and the results are great. No streaking on our sealed wood floors and great for tile and vinyl floors as well-Just LOVE it! No puddling-
And I'm taking the advise of another user and getting some extra kitchen towels to use as extra floorcloths down the road- I tried one of ours out and it works with this unit- just pay attention to the towel design-use something similar to what comes with product!
WORD OF WARNING -this item list around somewhere in the $70's I learned after when almost leaving feedback for the seller and noted others were selling the item for a huge difference than I paid. While I love this machine-and highly recommend it - Be cautious about who you are ordering from- There is no reason to price gouge if the item in most places is on back order, $68-90 is what I have been seeing now, after I purchased mine- and that is a very fair price- it's worth the wait -believe me. And a side note- I did contact the seller to inquire about the huge difference in his price and what is being offered now- basically he feels it's ok to price gouge-
So-Can't praise this item enough-well built- But be more sensible than me- and pay a more reasonable price- the wait will be worth it- You won't be sorry!』

『I just received my Enviro Steamer and at this point I'm just not that impressed.

The unit seems sturdy. The cord is just over 19 feet long (not 25 feet as stated on Eureka's website). I had to keep unplugging and replugging as I moved through the house. Since I couldn't leave it sitting on the floor when I did this, I either had to keep the tray with me, or hold it off the ground with one hand while replugging with the other.

My floor was not filthy, so I wasn't expecting miracles. I had read that people used this on laminate floors and it left it without the streaks left by swiffer type products. I used it on my laminate floors and it did leave streaks. I will try with distilled water to see if this makes any difference.

I also used on marble floors. I'm not sure what had been put on them by the previous owners, so I tested in a small area. It smeared the previous mop-n-glo type product and left it looking worse than before, so I will not use it here again.

If using the distilled water as suggested by a previous reviewer eliminates the streaks left on my laminate floors, then I will update this review. Otherwise, the product is not for me and I will be returning.』

『Eureka Enviro Steamer
I bought my Enviro Steam about two months ago after reading the excellent reviews on Amazon and some other sites. I was previously using a Shark steam mop and I really liked it. It was compact, easy to use and did a good job. But it seemed to have a malfunction - it would short our electric fuses, and I always had to flip the switches. Annoying, very annoying. So, to the worldwide web I went looking for recommendations on "the best" steam mop. As usual, I came away more confused than when I started. There are so many opinions out there and what one person loves, the next person hates. So it's pretty hard to figure out what's what. Nonetheless, I was pretty impressed with what I read about the Enviro Steam, and decided to go with that. I wasn't entirely delighted with it, right from the beginning. But I wanted to give it some time to grow on me. I've had it for about two months now, so I think it's time to add my two cents here. And all I can say is that I'm still not crazy about it. Here's why:

- Some people like the fact that there is constant steam. I was used to my Shark, which only steams while it's you push down on the handle. I could leave it aside for a while, still plugged in, if I got side-tracked with another chore with no harm done. I can't do that with the Enviro Steam, or it makes a mess.
- Somebody said that the Enviro Steam heats to a really high heat. This sounded great for a really good clean on a floor where we have a crawling baby. But I don't find it to be the case. In my bare or stockinged feet, if I step on the floor immediately after cleaning it, it's warm but not hot.
- Some people said that the Enviro Steam leaves the floor wet. I really didn't think this meant it would be very wet, I just thought it meant "not completely dry". But no. It means wet, very wet in my case. On parts of my tile floor there are literally pools of water left behind, especially in the grout. And it seems to have been getting worse over time. I have to go over it with a dry cloth after cleaning it.

In short, I wish I'd replaced my Shark with another Shark. I'd say I'm on the low end of neutral in my opinion of the Enviro Steam.』

『I started looking for a steam mop since I'm so sensitive to chemicals. I have very little hard floor space to clean, but purchased this item after a wonderful word of mouth review from a friend of mine. Her house has nearly 1200 square feet of tile on the first floor and she cleans it to a shine with this steam mop. She has had it for 3 years as well. Besides the lack of availability for more of the waffle type cleaning pads, I am satisfied with the performance. The pads are not "sopping wet" as other reviewers have posted. They do get wetter the dirtier they are; I attribute this to the lack of air flow. The floor is left a little wet, but dries within a few minutes. I usually have to use both of the cleansing pads in my kitchen for one time over. I can see how well the steamer cleans off even the most stuck on food. I imagine this would work beautifully in a bathroom as well (My bathroom is small enough that I use a clorox wipe). Down side: I still have to wipe up around the edges and corners to pick up a little bit of leftovers.』

『I bought this, my first experience with steam mops, based on the positive reviews here, and I am honestly on-the-fence about my purchase satisfaction. My primary use is for the tile in my kitchen (and possibly for two bathrooms). It only takes about five minutes for the unit to get hot enough to produce steam, which is nice. And the steam gets hot enough to make the floor tiles hot if you leave it in place for a minute, which is good for getting off the stuck-on messes associated with kitchen spills. The unit steams and cleans well when the pads are dry/first used, but once the pads get wet from the steam, which is only after about 10 minutes of cleaning, then it's water water everywhere! I think I am going to look into buying extra pads. The unit comes with two, which I swap out mid-clean, but I need more than that just to cover my 14x14 kitchen floor without leaving the tiles soaking wet from a wet pad, and then having to go over them with an old towel. I was hoping I could steam a larger area without the watery mess, hence only three stars in my review.』

For anyone who purchased the previous Complete Series which was released in 2008, you know how horrible it was arranged and packaged. Most people who ordered the old version received it in shambles. The discs were scattered throughout the box and many people reported scratched or damaged discs.

The packaging for this new product is much better. Each season is packaged in its own rigid plastic case (same style as most DVDs come in). Each case has an individual cardboard sleeve, and all 4 seasons fit into a simple cardboard cover.

I purchased my copy off a store shelf (I didn't have it shipped). At the store, there were 3 copies on the shelf, and unfortunately, all three copies "rattled" when I tipped them over, which indicated to me that there were probably loose discs inside. I chose the copy which had the smallest "rattle" to it. When I opened the product, I found that Seasons 1 and 2 were packaged with a foam cushion which prevented them from moving around. Seasons 3 and 4 had no cushion, and 3 of these discs had come loose. There was no damage to any of the discs.

I found the packaging to be satisfactory, but if I needed to buy a 2nd copy, I would most likely purchase it from a store where I can "shake" the product before buying.

In regard to extra features, I personally will not rate this. I don't usually watch the extras, nor do I care about the table of contents and other inserts that come with these kinds of products. I was only sharing my experience with the packaging of the product. I hope this information is helpful to anyone who may be hesitant after the horrible quality of the 2008 product.』

I will cherish this collection for a long time. Brings back wonderful memories when my kids were young. Great value. Much better than most of the stuff on tv for kids now, just my opinion, though. I thought I had bought the complete collection a few years back. It was a rip off. The episodes had been copied off of the tv and the quality sucked big time. The episodes only played half of the time. Should have known better. This is the real deal, though. Lots of extras too. Hope other people enjoy this collection as much as I do.』

『I tell you the more I am getting to know "Sid" the more that this little guy is growing on me.

I love the characters, I love the concept and I love the fact that Sid and his friends clearly and easily explain the scientific dynamics on how things change.

I am sure if you are a parent you have heard the "How does..." and "Why does..." questions a million times. With my twins I get questions thrown at me at a double rate.

Sid the Science Kid is a perfect video for little ones and entertaining enough to keep grown ups listening as well.

With 115 minutes of video and four episodes: My Mushy Banana, My Shrinking Shoes, My Ice Pops and The Perfect Pancake...you not only receive entertainment but a wonderful start on teaching your children to love science.

I hated the annual science fair at school during my elementary years but if there were cartoons like "Sid the Science Kid - Change Happens" there may have been a lot of change in my views of science. I must be honest and say that I wasn't really sure what makes a Banana turn brown until I saw this video. I know sad, huh? But hey, now I know and so do the twins! Seems like Sid is doing his job!

My three year old boy and 5 year old girl love Sid, and prefer this collection "Change Happens" over the other just released collection The Bug Club. The rotten banana episode is a particular favorite, with the kids talking about "decay" the whole day long. This DVD is almost two hours long (115 minutes) but if you act now you will get a bonus DVD disk containing an additional 2 hours of content (134 minutes).

Early purchasers will also an additional DVD called Front Row Fun starring an additional episode of Sid (on our disk we got the episode Why do we need Charts) as well as episodes of WorldWorld, Dive Olly Dive!, Hermie and Friends, Pocoyo and Hopla. This is a real bargain for the price. A super show produced by Jim Henson's studio and directed by his son Brian Henson. Highly recommended.』

This show does a great job of explaining things in a fun (and parents, a non-annoying!) way. 『Don't know why this guy was so lauded. I purchased two cd's of his and they are not inspirational or fun to listen to at all. Plus, he is so big that you can hear his labored breathing on some of his tracks. Tried listening twice to each cd - what a waste of money. And the songs are blah.......』

(Almost Heaven)

『I have several IZ CDs -- I recommend Facing Future as his best. IZ died in 1997 at age 38 from respiratory distress and heart problems associated with a genetic illness that caused him to gain massive weight. His voice is Hawaiian. His syntax is Hawaiian. His thinking is Hawaiian. He plays the Ukelele well and has a voice from heaven. Many people first heard him when watching the closing scene of "Fifty Dates." Who can sing that heavenly they thought and became fans of Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole. I discovered IZ brousing about You Tube. Years ago I went to college in Maui, before IZ was born. His singing brings me back home. IZ said he was not afraid of death - as Hawaiians have one foot on both sides anyway. If you let him, he comes back now and then. Enjoy.』

『The Disney touch is all over this grand, colorful version of the Johann Wyss adventure of a European family set off for the new world of New Guinea. The film opens on a ship jostled and torn by a raging storm while a family struggles to make it through alive. Tossed into a reef near a deserted tropical island, father John Mills takes charge and the family soon turns their island prison into a veritable paradise. Their multilevel tree house, built in record time, is complete with running water and a working pipe organ scavenged from the ship, while their grand yard is abloom in English roses. As a tale of hardship and pioneer pluck, the tale is pure fantasy, but as entertainment it's energetic and appealing. The island is impossibly populated by ostriches, zebras, lions, and elephants, a private zoo that delights the youngest boy and offers plenty of comic relief. The two older brothers discover even wilder life when they rescue the prisoner of oriental pirates (led by hard-bitten Sessue Hayakawa). There's little real danger anywhere in the film--even the climactic battle with the pirates is a cartoonish affair, with coconut bombs and nonlethal booby traps, until the final desperate, deadly moments. Hardly a faithful adaptation of the novel, but a lush, beautifully photographed film and an entertaining adventure safe for all ages. Dorothy McGuire costars as the proper, worry-prone mother. 『Can "Macbeth" be in better hands than those of Sir Ian McKellan and Dame Judi Dench? This is something of a bare bones production from the Royal Shakespeare Company with little background scenery and staging. However, we do get some fine acting (including John Woodvine as Banquo) and lovers of the bard cannot complain. If you love Shakespeare, you must have this DVD.』

And it STANK. It was so nothing---so absolutely nothing---I was not in any way moved throughout the production except to stifle my gag reflexes each time the cast's apparent obsession with drooling was indulged. And finally, I was moved to turn off the set a few minutes after MacDuff's pretty chicken and its dam were snuffed. I didn't CARE that they were snuffed---they were stupid, uncaring, lifeless and boring. I really, really hated this production. Hated it. Boring, Boring, Boring. You'd think, given the parts, that the whole could not have been BORING---but it is. Imagine MacBeth performed by the worst community theatre group you've ever been subjected to, but they are all tanked up on valium. No, that's too entertaining. You CAN'T imagine it. Don't try. Steer clear.』

『I saw this production onstage in London in the warehouse where it was produced by Trevor Nunn in the 1970's. Nunn had been trying for years to get "Macbeth" right, but kept missing the mark till this one. It is shattering. Once you've experienced Judi Dench as Lady Macbeth, none other will ever do. This petite woman's enormous power is all-encompassing, and Ian McKellan is equally fine in the title role. All the supporting players are stunning as this was a true ensemble production, and many have gone on to have major film careers. If you want a Macbeth, this is THE one to get.』

Skip this version of the play, and for a truly enjoyable Shakespearean experience, watch Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in "The Taming of the Shrew."』

『Great flick. Easy for you to watch with the hubby while he appreciates the gift!!!』

(Soap Opera of Pre-civil War)

『North and South is about two friends, who attend and graduate from West Point. One friend is from the South and the other from the North. The Abolitionist were preaching about the evils of slavery, the brutality of the slave owners, and the inevitiblity of machines.

North and South is filled with action, carnage, tragedy, sorrow, joy, marriages, obligations, jealousy, true love, and passion. This is probably the best work for Patrick Swayze. Swayze acting and character were likely and complex, filled with emotion, anger, confidence, love, romance, and empathy.

"Gone with the wind" is a boring epic, in comparison too, "North and South". North and South ranks among great Civil War movies, such as, "Gods and Generals" and "Gettysburg".

South Carolina repulsion of Union law and confederacy too succeed from the Union sets the stage for the drama. The war with Mexico for Texas one campaign. The soap opera of family tradegy ends to the first Civil war battle.

Tradegy at Harpers Ferry is painful. Virgal's prediction of blood happens as her husband is shot and killed. Billie and Brent marry. Whoredoms, backstabbing, betrayal, incest, abortion, infidelity, and adultery are source of embarrassment and degeneration of the chastity Mount Royal and Resolute Southern women. Pride hardens the heart of the Southern way of life - believing slaves were property and must be controlled by torture. Gentlemen rules reign supreme and honor maintained by dueling. Slave labour will endure because the North misunderstands - Uncle Toms cabin would end that. The machine would produce great wealth for Mount Royal but not free the slaves on the plantation even though one of the agreements was "no slaves". The darkeness of slavery will not dispel immediately and hundreds of years of oppression can not be lifted with sacrifice. The destruction of the South seems speedily as they push five other states into succession. Brother against brother, friend against friend, and north against south.』

(Incredible, as good if not better than Gone With The Wind!)

never was any guy named Bent who tried to

as Lincoln). Also, where are the blacks that
fought for the Confederacy?! There where 100,
000 more than fought for the Yanks during the
war between the states. Also, no mention of
white or Indian indentured servants! Oh well,

『I liked the mini series. Acting is good. Scenery lovely. Costuming is superb. Gives the viewer a real feel for the place and time.

Unfortunately there are some things I don't care for. Both sides, if there's a character in one family there is another in the other just like that person. Some of the relationships are somewhat stale. The main villein is really two dimensional.

Both the southern main character and his northern counterpart fall in love with women socially unacceptable to their society. The northerner falls in love with and marries an irish catholic lass. The southerner falls in love with a girl who turns out to be the daughter of a harlot and an Octeroon (One african great grandparent). I would have prefurred something more open since history reveals there were quite a few gentle relationships between southern white men and women of african decent which would spare the audience this soap opera stuff.

Great scenerey. Wonderful scenes. Wonderful authentic costuming.
Just pathetic as sopa operas are.』

This movie is not only heartwarming but just the messages it send to children in sports or yound adults., I have both. I also know kids that gotten in troubled but somehow their lives are turned around by sports., not only does it teach you the game but also real life., like you don't always win and sometimes you lose ugly but you get up and go at it again. I LOVE THIS MOVIE and I've told other Mothers and Fathers about it.』

(A Superb Values Movie, No Rugby Experience Required)

『USA Rugby partnered well with this film's producers and distributors when it opened, and a lot of rugby clubs held screenings all over the country as fundraisers; I went to the TC Williams Rugby showing in Alexandria, Virginia. Unfortunately, this film was packaged as, and consequently was received by the American movie-going public as "the rugby movie." So unfortunately it didn't do well, and was out of theaters quickly. That's too bad, as this is not a rugby movie. It's a movie about values and ethics, honesty and integrity, honor and respect, about family and team, and ultimately about growth, redemption, and the transformative power of making a genuine effort, set in the context of rugby.

This is an excellent family film, and even better for just dads and sons to watch together. For the non-rugby viewers: it doesn't matter if you don't know a thing about rugby. For the ruggers: you'll love a well-crafted movie on teamwork, with accurate portrayals of our game.

This movie is not about rugby; it's about teaching young men the value of teamwork, camaraderie, and that everyone benefits when you become part of something bigger than yourself. This movie is about sacrifice, honor, integrity, and the power of working as a group toward a shared goal. Highland Rugby is the unstoppable juggernaut of American U-19 rugby not because they work harder, but because every single young man in that organization works for the betterment of the team, and not for himself. In this environment, winning becomes merely a by-product.

Synopsis: A talented yet vain high school rugby star ends up in juvie after a DUI. The angry and arrogant hard case is brought into the Highland rugby program and slowly learns the power of teamwork, selflessness, and becoming part of something bigger, which makes him a better man, and a winner.

Comparisons to Remember the Titans and Friday Night Lights are in order, the only difference here being that the sport is unfamiliar rugby. No matter; if you or your kids come out of it wanting to see what rugby is all about, all the better. If you are a rugger, then you will recognize the joy in teamwork you've come to love, enjoy the accurate action sequences, and will be happy to see the game treated very well, with very little modification to make it palatable to the rugby-ignorant greater public.

Alcohol and drugs are very clearly portrayed negatively throughout the film, and by the end our hero/former party-boy makes positive choices, on his own and for the right reasons. That being said, this film is not Disney-sweet or preachy, and also shows that these rugby players are not choir boys. They are very serious hard-chargers who know how to have fun, but fun that is legal and does not bring shame to themselves, their team or their families.

Refreshingly, the film does not shy away from the fact that rugby is an intense, full-contact sport and that top-level play is a rough environment. There are lots of bruises, and a bit of blood. One player gets a gnarly bloody nose, which he wipes off with grass. One scene, taking things a bit too far I think, showed a medic pulling a tooth from a gash on a player's forehead. Now, I've seen this injury myself, more than once, so it's legit, but showing it in the movie is not a good way to get kids--and more importantly their protective parents--to come out to learn and play rugby.

The rugby play is excellent, very well represented and accurate. There are a few very well done action sequences with the camera integrated into the action, with good accompanying sound, which is very much like being involved in actual play. The match play-by-play integrates well to explain what is happening. The referee reactions are also completely in keeping with the game, such as when the ref sends our boy off with a red card early in the movie, and when an opponent receives a yellow card near the end.

There are some powerful dramatic moments in this film, definitely not maudlin or syrupy, and yes, they did get this 28-years-playing lock forward's eyes to water.

As a youth rugby coach, I wish there were a way I could legally make dozens of copies of this film and hand one out to every single one of my players. No, this movie will not teach them how to play rugby, but if it teaches them about honesty and integrity, and the power of effort and teamwork, then most of my job as coach is already done.

Here's my suggestion to readers/buyers: buy a copy, and when you're done with it, give it to a friend, and ask them to pass it on. I've already done this; let's get this movie moving through the community. Let's get kids excited about rugby, and whether they play or not, let's get kids to realize the power of ethical behavior, and how it can have immediate and real benefits for them and those around them.

Bottom line: This is a straightforward bad-boy teen redemption tale, with a predictable plot line. You know where it's going to end up, and basically how it's going to get there. But the characters and story are powerful, and they deliver a very well crafted message of respect, integrity and teamwork, without beating you over the head with the overused Hollywood Message Mallet. All of this takes place in the context of a real-life high school rugby success story.』

(Best Sports Movie and I'm a Football fan)

『Being a Football guy, I watched this movie to not only to watch it, but learn how they play rugby. The Coach in the movie has the best point of views of making team and family. This movie not only is intense the whole way, but life learning and has many moments where it makes you bite down on your lip to hold back them tears. This movie is phenomenal, greatest ever, the best, I loved this movie more than any sports movie ever. This movie is as great as Remember the Titans if you look at both of their point of views about life and family/brotherhood.

I would recommend you watch this movie and keep it on your shelf or in your DVD player permanently.

(Learning to Overcome)

『Our family skipped over this video when it first came out thinking it was just another sports video. We rented it later and my family loved it. Our two boys (ages 10&14) watched it several times. I bought our first copy for our family, then 3 more copies for several families that would also benefit from it. They have also enjoyed it.

The lessons taught extend beyond sports. The movie is not preachy. The acting was above what I expected. And the plot/character development was enjoyable to watch. Anyone, 10 and older, who wants to learn about making better choices in life should watch this movie. I imagine that you will also like the movie if you are a Rugby fan.

『I had been really harsh on Seinfeld after Larry David left the series in series 7. Gone was the authenticity of the early episodes like The Chinese Restaurant and the mixture of dark themes with the trivial like The Trip and in its place was a complete farce.

So why have I given this DVD release four stars? Because the extra features completely put this season into context. The direction of season 9 into complete zaniness was absolutely intentional by Jerry Seinfeld who was leading the creative process in the last two seasons. When you hear the creative crew give their explanations about the escape from realism throughout this season you understand as a fan that a lot of experimentation was going on at the production side of the series.

The intention was to deconstruct and play around with a world that we had all grown to love over the course of the series - by which the end of the series we discover that the four people that we had loved, admired and even some us aspired to be were complete jerks and it is probably a dark criticism on humanity that we could relate to these people in the first place. Ho-hum!

Watching the series and all the detailed, well constructed episodes of season 9 in this context really made me appreciate all the hard work that went into these final moments and it still pretty powerful watching those last episodes. (And for those that might find the ending too mean spirited to constitute an ending, there's always that Greenday song to relive sentimental nostalgic memories.)

『Seinfeld's final season seems to take its cue from a little piece of "showmanship" advice that Jerry offers to the hapless George (Jason Alexander) in the episode "The Burning": "When you hit that high note, say goodnight and walk off." In television, as in comedy, timing is everything, and that's whatSeinfeld, No. 1 in the ratings, did. The show thatTV Guidewould later rank the greatest of all time, left the stage, perhaps not at the top of its game, but at least on its own terms. To the end, Jerry, George, Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Kramer (Michael Richards) remain true to the show's misanthropic muse. In the episode "The Merv Griffin Show," Jerry induces sleep in his new girlfriend so he can have his way with her retro toy collection. In "The Apology," George relentlessly badgers an old acquaintance (James Spader) now in AA, for a Step Nine apology over a long-ago insult. At one point, Elaine resumes her on again-off again relationship with Puddy (Patrick Warburton) because she needs a bureau moved. In the end, it all comes crumbling down for the so-called "New York Four" when they are put on trial in a Massachusetts courtroom for violating a Good Samaritan Law after not coming to the aid of an obese carjack victim. In "The Last Lap," a bonus featurette about Seinfeld's decision to end the series despite unprecedented offers from NBC brass to continue, they acknowledge the episode's "mixed reaction," but remain defiant. As Alexander notes, nothing could have lived up to the massive hype the episode received.

Seinfeld's ninth does not quite leave audiences wanting more. While there are several great episodes, including "The Butter Shave," "The Betrayal," "The Cartoon," and "The Maid," the season is loaded with what George might call "gaffes," including a series nadir, "Puerto Rican Day," which in these PC times, drew enough protest to hinder its rebroadcast. The writing this season is more outrageous (see "The Merv Griffin Show," in which Kramer salvages a discarded talk-show set and installs it in his apartment), but there are enough inspired bits of silliness (fleeting season-opening mustaches in "The Butter Shave," a live-action re-creation of the classic arcade game in "The Frogger," and Jerry's silly voice in "The Voice") to keepSeinfeld's legacy intact. 『While I read many good reviews here prior to making my purchase, I was initially worried when I also read many negative reviews here mentioning poor product packaging, product arriving in poor shape, product missing the episode-guide booklet, episodes not in chronological order (?), missing discs, and damaged discs that would not play properly among other problems (one review mentioned a disc where the laugh track was audible but dialogue was not?!). I went ahead and ordered thinking I would inspect it right away and return it if it was flawed in any way ($134.99 is a GREAT price although I guess I just missed an all-time low price of $114.99). Not only did I receive the product promptly (less than 48 hours after the order went through). It arrived in perfect condition. I immediately tested all 40 discs (playing the start of random episodes on each disc) and I found NO PROBLEMS (by the way, the episodes ARE in chronological order and each disc DOES have a main menu which makes it very easy to go to any specific episode). I sympathize with those who received a damaged or incomplete product. I, for one, am very happy with my purchase. Not only am I satisfied with the product. Amazon.com's price, free shipping option, and speedy delivery time met my expectations as well.』

If you have expensive knives, like Global, that should get more tlc, this is not likely your best option. I use it to keep my other knives sharp, depending on frequency of use. I find that I use it weekly for my most used knives. I think it is a great tool for the price. Use it on a dry knife away from food and wash off the metal shavings immediately to avoid eating them. I find I use this way more than the tedious sharpening stone.』

The first two seasons were mostly centered on the on-off saga of Ross and Rachel, and while their relationship remained a strong presence through romantic rivals and even a baby, the other characters eventually moved from sideshow players into a shared comedic lead. ButFriendswas not without its heart. Most of the cast had dysfunctional relationships with their parents and went through loss, divorce, marriage, parenthood, and love triangles. The emotional pregnancies of Rachel (by Ross) and Phoebe (surrogate to her half-brother's triplets) won the actresses Emmy Awards, and Joey's tender feelings for Rachel in Season 8 won LeBlanc, the most improved actor in the series, a nomination.

Most sitcoms run out of ideas by the fifth season, butFriendsgave itself a refreshing jolt the minute Monica and Chandler wound up in bed together. Their budding romance was not only the one of the funniest arcs of the series, but one of the most sentimental, as they planned a wedding, struggled to have a child and eventually turned to adoption. Everyone from George Clooney to Sean Penn to Julia Roberts to Bruce Willis has appeared on the sitcom, and Tom Selleck certainly enjoyed a career resuscitation after his recurring role as Monica's older man.
