So, I have to cook each side individually, making for a rather time consuming process. Or maybe I need to buy another pan so one can cook the top and the other the bottom...』

(Cute cake but not without its flaws) 『I knew this cake pan would be a huge hit the moment I saw it on here with all the examples and the limitless possibilities. First the good, the cake is adorable even before you add anything to it, it is a large cake that feeds about 6-8 people -if everyone gets a generous slice ;) Since a giant cupcake is always a hit with kids you can make it to celebrate almost any occasion or holiday. You must use a grease to get the cake out but I am not deducting any points from this as anyone who has tried to get cakes out knows if just goes much smoother if you use a cake release agent. We use the wilton cake release and have had no problems getting cakes out. I was worried about getting the top of the cupcake out without mauling it so we used the cake release freely. Once the cake was done and cooled for a few min it came right out and hld its shape. Now onto the cons of the cake pan. First is it takes about 1 1/2 box cakes so the cook time is around 70 min. Not a big deal just make sure you allow that into your schedule. The other thing I wasn't wild about was when you cut the cake it cuts long pieces that makes it difficult to get icing on more than just the top small part of the cake. We over came this by leaving a bowl of icing next to where the cake was served so someone who wanted to add icing could. Since you will have cake batter left it is easy to make cupcakes to go along with the large cake to help make sure you have enough cake to go around. In my case I saved those for my 4 yr old daughter to decorate and she had a blast piping on icing and being a part of decorating. All in all this is a cute cake pan and was a huge hit. Since we made homemade icing it didn't hold the piping as well as I would have liked but that has more to do with not allowing the icing to chill that the cake pan, I just wanted to add that so one would have better results when piping on icing than we did.』

I followed the previous reviewers who recommended filling both sides of the pan 2/3 full and baking the bottom first for 15 minutes, then adding the top and baking both for another 30 minutes. I used Wilton Cake Release (you HAVE to use this for any shaped pan, IMO) and both pieces slid out after 15 minutes of cooling. Not a crumb in the pan. I didn't decorate the bottom, but can definitely see that you would want to do this first before assembling the top. Used the Wilton 1M tip to pip giant rosettes and stars on the top. Absolutely beautiful and unbelievably easy. I used two boxes of mix and used the leftover batter to make regular cupcakes to surround the giant one with. Wish I'd had an occasion to show it off for, but just made it on a whim to see how it worked. Definitely recommend for something fun, easy and different!』

I didn't like that everyone else was approximating their numbers, so here are mine exactly: - 325 degrees, the entire bake time - When spraying the container, I made the mistake of spraying the whole thing BEFORE the top went in. Remember to only spray the bottom, then after baking it (see next bullet) spray the TOP. - 12 minutes just the bottom piece - I then added the top. 67 minutes = enough time to get the soft inside and not too hard outside. 2. I used 2 cake boxes, and took note of which is denser (I had devil's food and funfetti, so I used the devil's food for the base). When finished, I had enough for 12 cupcakes in addition to the large cupcake. 3. I filled the batter up to the last portion of the spiral for the top, and about 1 inch in for the bottom.

It removes pills as it should and brings most clothes back to a like-new appearance. There are a few minor issues I do have with the sweater stone, however, that anyone purchasing should be aware of. Firstly, using the sweater stone on your entire wardrobe is not the greatest idea; removing pills from clothing with the sweater stone is a rather time consuming endeavor. Additionally, the amount of mess resulting from this situation would be enough to make anyone cringe. Bits of fuzz from whatever you're 'brushing' will combine with gritty pieces of the sweater stone and will litter your working area with mess. I'd definitely suggest putting something down over your work area to catch the mess. My other concern is that it seems as if the stone is a little bit harsh, especially on some materials. I'd test the stone on an inconspicuous area on the article of clothing before giving the entire thing the rub down.
Other than these minor concerns, the sweater stone is definitely a great addition to a wardrobe. It will assist in bringing old clothes (some at least) back to life.

(Perfect for dark surfaces) 『Sharpie makes a load of different color Sharpie markers, but none that comes out well against black, or similar dark background.
If you own brick power supplies, cables, DVD or BD players, many come in basic black. How do you label or mark these items, other than using white tape to write on with a black Sharpie?
Previously, the way to write on black was with a white paint or similar color oil based paint pen, made by Sharpie and others. These pens cost 3-4x more, dry out faster, need to be started before it writes, writes unevenly, but certainly was better than nothing.
Sharpie has succeeded in making a type of ink that provides a white like color, in this case silver. They did it by creating an ultra fine silverish powder dissolved in the same solvent used for their color markers. The result is a pen with ink that has all the same qualities as its standard markers, near the same cost, and the effectiveness of white paint on black backgrounds. But even more, the paint is more 'reflective' in low light conditions, creating a low cost reflector effect.
The metallic paint is as 'permanent' as the other markers, and eventually they do come off. But the pen is so easy to use, and cheap, that its effortless to re-write a label as needed.
What takes the ink off? Washing in hot water, constant rubbing, underwater submersion for multiple hours, extensively sunlight exposure, to name a few. But if the items are kept out of direct sunlight, and rarely touched, such as labels on items, it has remained on for years. I know, I've used Sharpies for over 10 years, and its the best marker pen I've used.
I buy black markers by the dozen. Its also really made in USA.

(Most Goos go or fade but don't expect miracles) 『I wasn't aware of Goo Gone but my wife was and she mentioned it when she could no longer find it at the store. That's where Amazon comes into the picture. This size is an excellent deal, given the free shipping.
We are using this mostly to eliminate stains from clothing. It works pretty well if 'used as directed' - rub the stained area, give it a few minutes, rub it with clean cloth, drop it in the washer with extra detergents. If threated this way, MOST stains will either disappear or fade a little or a lot.
To conclude, this is a more than decent cleaner. This petroleum-based cleaner is not as loudly promoted as the peroxide-based OxiClean but it does at least as good a job if not better. Probably better. We will continue to use it. ___________________

(Goo Gone is a fantastic product!) 『Goo Gone Cleaner. This product is literally one of the best boo boo fixers I've ever spent my money on. Well worth its retail purchase price, I have come to always keeping a bottle around my home. I'm impressed with the products careful ability to remove leftover adhesive material from price tags, bumper stickers, and tape.
I also use this product for wiping down tools after working on the car. Spot treating laundry before throwing a load in the machine (yes it does get grease spots out of clothes).
I keep a bottle of Goo Gone in the hidden compartment of the school bus I drive too; Students write on the windows or walls of the bus with crayons or pens, ... this stuff gets it off.
