Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Stylus for Apple I-Touch) 『I bought this becasue I thought it would work better than my fat fingers on display, turns iout it rarely works at lal, requiring many taps on screen to produce any result, not worth bothering with』
(Great little stylus) 『This item is very useful if you need to do a lot of typing. It takes a lot os stress off your finger. Makes typing a lot easier with fewer mispelled words. you need to use a little more pressure but you do save on your finger and typing mistakes are a lot less.』
(The pen to have) 『The only thing I say bad about this pen is..It's easy to lose. there should be like a string attached to it. Or have a becon on it to find it... this is a must have for the price』
(Stylus pen) 『I bought stylus pen for my husband's iphone and he liked it. The only reason I did not gave a five stars to it is because it is a little bit unconfortable, because when you are writing you have to put a little bit of pressure to the screen.』
(I Touch Stylus Pen) 『Works great for women who find it difficult to use the 'I' Touch Screen due to their long nails! (-:』 『Touch Stylus Pen for mobile phones, PDA and Pocket PC.It is made of environmental protection ABS plastic. It is great for people who lost the Touch Stylus Pen of his mobile phone or PDA. Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Leather case for iPhone) 『Was promptly delivered, and well packed. Having a belt loop as well as a clip makes it feel much more secure than a clip set up. I had a clip case for my Razr phone, and it had a habit of getting caught on seat belts when exiting cars. I nearly lost that phone several times. So far (a month) it feels well built, and looks professional. Down side is that it probably will not work with an iphone protective case.』
(Okay for the money...) 『Size does not seem true for iphone...will NOT work with other hard cases such as the Contour. We were trying to find some different options for phones and it won't work with hard cases. Packaging said it was for a blackberry?
Seems a bit cheap, but better deal than at the store or other places. Okay made, not sure how it will hold up in the long run!』
(iPhone 3G case) 『This iPhone 3G case is thickly padded to protect its valuables. Looks good and fastens by magnetic latch. Only the headphone jack doesn't quite clear the side panel. This isn't the right picture, no stamp in middle. Great deal.』
(Cheap) 『After only 2 weeks of use the belt clip tore away from the case. Be aware also that the case is too large for the iPhone 3GS. The phone literally rattles around in the case. I cannot recommend this holster at any price.』
(Excellant Product!) 『After shopping other stores with prices up to 30 dollars this was truly a great buy at a great price.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (richardsolo 1800 iphone external battery) 『The device works as represented and I have recommended it to others. The manual is sparse and it had no help for my attempt to plug the battery in over the Iphone external hard case. You must remove the bottom part of the iphone hard case to engage the connector with its plastic bridge. The connected iphone and battery is a flimsy pair and must be handled with care.』
(Worth it, cumbersome, better than others, new design needed) 『The title says it all, I wish the battery sat under (rather than below) the iPhone when recharging the iPhone. I'd recommend it, but I expect something newer and something better will be around soon (<1yr?)』
(Works as advertised) 『I am completely addicted to my iPhone 3GS. Since I travel for work, I am constantly on the phone, using my wireless headphones: Altec Lansing 906/R US BackBeat Headphone with Dongle, which help drain the battery through bluetooth usage, playing games, listening to music, and surfing the web. My iPhone 3GS battery was lasting 5-7 hours on a good day, and with my travel scheduling requiring me to constantly be on the go, between airports, trains, rental cars, and customer meetings, I was continuously finding myself with a near dead battery and no way to recharge.
I ordered the Richard Solo 1800 from the Skymall magazine online (from my iPhone, no doubt) as I was boarding a flight a few weeks ago. If you order from Skymall within 48 hours of taking a flight, they will give you $30 off of a $100 order, so I basically added $30 worth of free stuff to my order in addition to the battery, and Richard Solo included a $25 hard case for the iPhone 3G and 3GS for free, that allows you to connect the 1800 without removing the case. Nice!
PROs * Works as advertised. I can recharge my iPhone completely starting at 30-40% power to 100% full during the time that you have to turn your electronics off during take off and landing. * Flashlight and laser pointer are nice, but as a traveling technical sales engineer, I already have an arsenal of presentation clickies in my bag, so I don't use them. * Connector clip works well and provides sturdy support between iPhone and 1800 battery. * My battery life went from 5-7 hours to almost 20 hours. I have yet to find myself in a situation where I can't recharge completely in 30 mins or less, and you can use the phone while it is charging from the battery.
CONs * The thing is big. It's almost as big as the iPhone itself. It's hard to type or play games using the touch screen while the battery is connected. * More cables to tote. However - you can charge the battery and the iPhone simultaneously using the microSD cable that comes with the battery. The iPhone will charge first, then the 1800 will charge when the iPhone is full. I usually plug both up at night, and they are both full in the morning. * Expensive. There are tons of competitive products out there for half the cost. Brookstone has a battery for $30. The real key is the power. The iPhone itself has a 1400 mAh battery in it, so if you want a full charge out of a spare battery, it has to also be at least 1400 mAh. That justified the cost for me.
The only other battery that I found that had the same (actually more) level of power as the Richard Solo was the PhoneSuit MiLi Power Pack - External iPhone Battery Pack, 2000mAh for iPhone 3GS, 3G, 2G, but it had mixed performance reviews compared to the Richard Solo, which had top ratings everywhere I looked.
Overall I am very satisfied - I can now satisfy my iPhone addiction without suffering any nasty withdrawals from the battery dying!』
(Great product + Superb service) 『Life savior wit short life of Iphone battery..But the best is the support.. Fantastic response on a weekend...Best ever..Thank you』

A very good upgrade from most stock headphone and are very comfortable which is important! I took them to my trip to europe and lots to time traveling means lots of time wearing headphones. These are not top of the line headphones but very good sound in my opinion. For the price, they cannot be beat. Keep in mind, these are earbuds, and for music on the go so I was never expecting it to produce phenomenal sound. I was very disappointed when one of the earbuds stopped producing sound. I was ready to buy another pair when I read all the positive reviews about their customer service. I usually don't like to deal with any customer service if I don't have to(really bad experiences!). But I sent them an email about the warranty and within a day or two, they shipped another brand new pair of earbuds and I didn't have to send back the defective pair. Also it comes with another 1 year warranty. It is definitely the best customer service experience I've had with any product. There's really no risk if you haven't bought a pair yet. It is well worth the investment. One note that I have is that these are not good for jogging for working out, they tend to fall out after a lot of jiggling and the sweat doesn't help either. So I wouldn't recommend them for the gym/running.』
(Ear Buds - normal) 『I bought the JBuds J2 because I could get them in different colors. I have 2 kids and they keep taking each others head phones. This stops that. They are normal quality. Only thing I don't like about them is that the silcone ear pieces are not very thick which makes it feel uncomfortable at times like the ear pieces have come off the earbud, but it hasn't.』
(good earbuds, better customer service) 『Bought my Jbuds last month and last week the left earbud died on me. I emailed Jlabs support, and their response was simply great. They sent me a brand new replacement pair, without asking for shipping or the old ones back. Sound quality is pretty good, the burn-in period does improve the sound somewhat, but don't expect amazing quality. They are good for the price and very comfortable with good noise insulation. Best reason to get these is for the fact that if they do die or whatever, you'll be taken care of by great customer service.』
(terrific customer service) 『J-Lab makes a very solid product; the J-2 earbuds are comfortable, with good sound and build quality. What makes these a particularly smart purchase is the company's customer service. When one channel of my earbuds died, J-Lab sent out a new pair the same day, without requiring that I send in the nonfunctioning pair. And under what I think is a terrific and highly unusual policy, the replacement earbuds came with a new 1 year warrantee, rather than just the remainder of the original warrantee period.』
(J2 Jbuds are one amazing earphones! and what customer service...!) 『I THROUGHLY ENJOYED THE LISTENING EXPERIENCE WITH THESE HEADPHONES. i ACQUIRED THEM A MONTH BACK, AND AFTER TEH BURN IN PERIOD .. THEY WERE SIMPLY A PLEASURE IN THE EAR....
i HAVE A BOSE ON EAR Q2 QUIETCOMFORT HEADPHONES TOO AND i CAN SAY THE CLARITY OF THIS jBUDS PRODUCT IS QUITE COMPARABLE IN THE HIGH FREQUENCY REGION. CRYSTAL CLEAR VOICE .. AND SO ATTRACTIVE LOOKING ( i HAVE THE ELECTRIC BLUE/BLACK BY THE WAY)...

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Very reliable for iPod Touch 3G) 『"This has turned out to be a great product. I like that it scans to find the best 'blank' radio station." I've had other transmitters and they were nothing compared this in ease of use and sound quality. I use it with my iPod Touch 3G.』
(GOOD FOR WHAT IT IS.....) 『FM transmitters have always been mediocre at best, and if you are a fan of quality sound, then you might consider other alternatives. For the sake of convenience and cost, this product delivers well; it fits snug into the plug and certainly allows your music and phone conversations to be played through the speakers.
I have an Iphone and if you own your car, or keeping it for a while, I would suggest finding a "blue-tooth" enabled stereo receiver, which can wirelessly deliver music and phone conversations through your speakers, but much more clearly. These unites can be found for around $200 and installed for around $100, with cables and other necessary supplies.
Then you can just purchase a simple phone mount and wirelessly enjoy its capabilities.
BUT - if you are looking for cheap and quick; this is a good product for what it is...hope this helps.』
(I enjoy it) 『I received this as a present and I really enjoy it. It charges my iphone and it plays it through the radio. Nice sound』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Does not work with gen 5 nano) 『This cable might work with older ipods but it DOES NOT WORK with newer models like the Gen 5 Nano.
Waste of money unless you have an older ipod.
The claim that this works with Gen 5 Nanos is an outright lie.
』
(Works just fine for Audio - way better than the headphone -->RCA output) 『I liked the item just fine, but I'm using it only for audio, not video. If you are considering using a cable to go from your iPhone 3G or most any other iPod, I endorse this cable. The iPod connector provides MUCH better audio quality than going out from the headphone jack.
So while I think I understand the negative reviews for Video (which would seem to be Apple's fault - trying to sell their $50 cable!), the Audio quality is excellent and the price was right. Thanks』
(Does EXACTLY what the other connectors Do without the $$$) 『Worked GREAT, attached my Ipod Nano 4G hooked it up to the tv (color coded EASY) and bam I can watch my movies on my t.v. also works with my Ipod Classic!! GREAT and the price AWESOME!! After I browsed Walmart only to find what I wanted would cost me half another Nano I checked out Amazon and sure enough here it was!! Quick shipping AWESOME』
(not the best, but it works) 『made from cheap plastics, this cable may not be of Monster quality (or even RadioShack quality), but it certainly does the job well (when connected correctly).』
(***DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY - DOES NOT WORK W/iPHONE***) 『This product may work with the first generation iPhone but most certainly does not work with the iPhone 3g. Spend extra money and get the product you want. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing.』 『The iPod Compatible 3.5mm to RCA Audio/Video Cable allows you to play music, photos, and video from your iPod through your home entertainment system. Using your iPod's headphone jack to get audio and video out to your stereo or television frees up your dock connector allowing you to charge your iPod at the same time.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Good looking) 『It is slim enough that it doesn't add excessive bulk to the phone, and it can still slide into my jeans pocket. It's grippy, but not so much that it gets stuck in pockets. My only complaint is that the white part is starting to look a little dirty, the way an old pencil eraser looks after a while. But, the grip is nice and it still looks good.』
(Good case) 『For the price, this case is good, just wish the case was higher edged for the protection of the face of the phone. was very easy to put on, but very hard to get off again, and some of the color scraped off of it with just my fingernail on the edge. The blue is such a great color, very nice looking case, just wish was more rubber than plastic.』
(Good fit) 『Case fit my phone very well and doesn't add too much bulk to it. Haven't dropped my phone yet but it feels pretty sturdy.』
(great case) 『Great case. Very sturdy. Took a little manuvering to get it on the phone. You must remove the "fishbone" part from the case before putting it on the phone. It is much easier that way. My only complaint is the red from the case discolored the white "fishbone" part. Other than that, very nice case.』 『Available in 8 Colors. Style your iPhone 3G with this Unique Style Shell Cover. Rubber grips makes it easy to hold and grip and sticks well to surfaces to avoid sliding . The open front style of this case give complete access to your touch screen and provides exact openings for all phone functionality.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Breaks easily) 『This starts out as a pretty good hard case for the iPhone but after about a month or so begins to break in some of the thinner sections: at the base, on the side with the volume control, etc. I would not recommend this case.』
(Oh SnAp!) 『Everything about this item was great, except for the snap lock in the back. Didn't seem like it was securely fastened. Maybe it was just mine, but yeah, I like hearing a nice snap to prove items meant to protect are locked.』
(Not very good indeed) 『If you plan on purchasing this case, I would suggest purchasing a bottle of Krazy Glue along with it. With in three days one of the clips that hold it together snaped off so now it is only being held on with one clip. A week after that the bottom cross piece snapped and had to be krazy glued back together. Surely there are better cases than this one.』
(One of the better inexpensive cases.) 『When I ordered my first Iphone (3GS) I know from experience I'm clumsy. So I ordered two types of cases so they'd be here by the time the Iphone arrived.
Of the two cases, I had expected to like this one the least. For my Ipods, I've relied on the more rubbery or soft silicon cases as they wouldn't slip through my hands or if it did, the rubber would cushion the impact.
Sure enough the first case I used was the rubber one. I was happy with it overall. However, whenever I wanted to place the Iphone in one of the many stands I had, I needed to take the entire case off.
Additionally, I learned many of the hardware I'd accumulated over the years did not work with the newer Ipods and the Iphone. There is an adapter made which does let a number of those legacy products work, but the case needd to be removed for the adapter as well.
This case, is two pieces. This is great as it's easy to slide on and off the lower section. Since switching over, this is my primary case.
You can spend a lot more money, but for a couple of bucks, this no name inexpensive case delivers.』
(Pretty nice) 『I thought that the case was very nice, however it does fit very tightly so you might have to really try and push the two pieces together.』 『Premium Crystal Case for iPhone 3G / S Protect your iPhone 3G-S with style. 100% 30 Day Satisfaction Guaranteed.』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Makes connecting (and charging!) iPods and iPhones easier) 『Like many iPod users, I wanted a way to make listening to and charging my iPod in the car easier. The iSimple IS75 adapter makes this possible in any car with a stereo that can support an AUX input via RCA jacks. (If you aren't sure, check your owner's manual or look up your car and "AUX input" online before purchasing this, and note that some otherwise compatible radios may require additional adapters.)
The adapter consists of a small molded plastic block with a permanently attached RCA-type patch cord for connection to your stereo, a pair of power wires for connecting to your car's electrical system if you want to be able to charge your iPod/iPhone, a longish (perhaps 6 feet) cord with an Apple interface plug to connect to your device, and an equally long cord with a generic stereo mini-plug to connect any device with a headphone jack.
Installing the adapter was straightforward: plugging in the two RCA plugs was all that was required to make the sound connection. If you want to charge your iPod/iPhone, you will also have to connect the adapter to an available power source in your dashboard.
Playback is easy and provides MUCH better sound quality than FM modulators or similar adaptors. Using the iPod interface plug means you don't have to worry about fiddling with the volume on both the iPod and the car stereo to get the best quality: just use the car's volume control as usual. The charging capability is a huge benefit, and this adapter is one of the few out there that can charge all generations of dockable iPods and iPhones. Many newer Apple devices will not charge from older adapters that use a different charging standard.
The only reason I gave the IS-75 4 stars instead of 5 relates to the otherwise great charging capability. Using the charging feature can also introduce background noise caused by electrical interference. I easily remedied this by plugging in a "ground loop isolator" between the IS-75 and my stereo. Had the IS-75 built-in this easily forseeable and commonly required feature, it would have been perfect.』 『Allows User To Stream Ipod(r) Music&Video Through The Car Entertainment System For Use With Car Stereos With Rca Inputs Compatible With All Ipod(r)&Iphone(tm) Models Charges Ipod(r)/iphone(tm) Uses Ipod(r) Or Iphone(tm) Clickwheel Or Touch Controls Allows Audio Streaming From An Iphone(tm) Connected To The Internet Secondary Headphone-style Input For Use With Other Portable Audio Devices』

I went to a book chain looking for David Pogue's book on the iphone 3GS in the Missing Manual series. The location I visited didn't have Pogue's book, but they called another location that did. So I drove over there, only to find that they had this book instead. So I bought it anyway. I wish I had not. It is OK but not great. I just bought my iphone so I was in a post purchase high and really wanted something to read. In retrospect I should have ordered Pogue's from Amazon and researched the phone on the web. The Portable Genius book is just OK. It had what you would expect, chapters devoted to different features. But it lacked a really intense index. And I couldn't easily find what I needed. I use this book to look up things when I get stuck. For example, I couldn't find how to lock the iphone screen with this book. I had to look it up online. Maybe it's in there somewhere, but if I can't easily find the answer, what's the point of buying the book? I really enjoyed Pogue's Missing Manual book on the Mac OS X (liked it better than the Dummies, I own both) and also the Missing Manual on iPhoto. Pogue seems to go into more detail, have more tips and tricks, and also (for my mind at least) does a better job of explaining the theory behind the programming so that I can understand holistically rather than memorized discrete tricks.
Bottom line, I don't think The Portable Genius is worth the money. Maybe $9.99. Otherwise, just read the how to online. If you are a book learner, order The Missing Manual.』
(It doesn't have anything in it you can't figure out in the first 10 minutes of ownership.) 『My review title speaks for itself. It's great if you don't feel like messing around with your phone for 10 minutes, though it will take you 45 to read the book.』
(Deceptive Information!) 『For a book that supposedly was released on or around the early days of August 2009 (as stated) there is not one review that at the very least is as new. I find this confusing, aggravating and somewhat deceptive. Yes, I understand that there may or may not exist previous works by the same author and that is fine and dandy but what does it have to do with this so called new release? I will never know! Amazon is dragging its successful formula and in the process is offering reviews that are not pertinent for they are outdated. Many may not agree with me but when I like to purchase something released in August 2009 I do not welcome reviews from years before. Same is going on with Iphone for Dummies which the newest release was announced for early August 2009 (as stated) yet all of the 16 reviews are from the past years. But yet they announce on the title offered that it is about a newer technology, in this case Iphone 3gs not 3g. So maybe I am too demanding and maybe I do need a personal copy of a how to kind of book for the recently released Iphone 3gs (released late June 2009?) why do outdated reviews appear on a newer release? Yes, I also get that in the case of book for dummies they have been around for years and that is great for them and probably the older reviews mean to validate their existence, whatever the reason it has not a thing to do with a new book because only new reviews of that particular book are pertinent. I prefer no reviews appeared, which would also tell me something about the book, than reviews from a previous release. Perhaps reviews are hard to come by and must be milked for all they are worth. Had to bring it up!』

For a beginner will be an enjoyable read but for those with more experience will prove to be a tool essential to optimize their game in all phases of processing. Maybe I would have preferred less rambling and more code but I'm very happy with this purchase. I also saved a lot of money with the exchange rate between euro and dollar. Excellent! P.S. It would be nice that in the near future U.S. publishers translating these books in Italian.』
(A technical yet top pick for any library strong in iPhone or games programming specifics) 『iPhone game developers share their techniques and secrets in IPHONE GAMES PROJECTS, a survey of the most popular games and how they were created. Tips for game development and the iPhone environment accompany insights on optimizing games, using social gaming web services, and creating multiplayer iPhone games. A technical yet top pick for any library strong in iPhone or games programming specifics.』
(Not appropriate for a course on game design) 『I was about to order this book as required reading for my game design class. We will build iPhone games this spring, and enrollment so far is off the charts. Regrettably, I discovered that one of the chapters uses gender exploitative games to illustrate a point that could have been made with less offensive materials. As a woman who has taught computer science for 30 years I thought the industry was beyond this sort of childishness. The chapter authors justify inclusion of this game as "a typical bar game." That the editors did not flag this is indicative of an industry that remains clueless about the potential for woman consumers in the handheld industry. For shame. While other chapters are outstanding, and informative, and exactly what I need to illustrate key points of design, I cannot in good conscience ask my students to purchase this book while trying to promote a "safe zone" in my classes. I hope the editors replace the offensive pictures and references to the offensive game in later editions.』
(Don't let these reviews fool you) 『I had look at this book on amazon before and decided not to buy it because of all the negative reviews. When I finally saw this book in my local book store, I thought I'd take a peek. I thought it was rather interesting, a lot more promising than most reviews gave it credit for anyway. So I ordered it, but had very little time to read through it. A few weeks after I had it, I had a real problem on the Iphone game I was working with, long story short : after adding sounds and trying the game out on my ipod instead of the iphone it was crashing because of lack of memory. Turns out there's a nice chapter about optimization in one of these chapters that really helped me out. Instead of hunting the internet for different tips and tricks, I read the chapter in 15-20 min which covered sounds and images optimization plus the tools used for profiling the iphone sdk. The book payed for itself that very night.
There's many books that take the approach of multiple authors with each their own tips and stories. Maybe these stories in this weren't as pertinent for people as the GPU gems, or game programing gem. Me on the other hand, I try to get all the information I can get, especially from successful game makers. From Game Developer Magazine, to Gamasutra, post-mortem are a very important aspect of my learning process for creating better games. This book was no exception.』
(Good Book, but you MUST understand its purpose) 『Note: For the sake of full disclosure, let me state that I offered to review the book and I was sent a PDF copy.
The short review: This is a good book full of interesting nuggets of information from people who have written iPhone games. This is NOT a "how to program iPhone games" book. If that's what you are looking for, you will be very disappointed as some of the other reviewers were.
The longer review:
I really enjoyed the information presented in the book. The information presented is not unlike sitting around with a bunch of programmers and asking them for mini lessons and tips. You're not going to build any projects from start to finish, and each chapter is a separate chunk of information.
That being said, you're going to get a lot of exposure to code snippets and general ideas. The chapter on RESTful web services shows you how this approach is incorporated into a game project. There's a great chapter on how to design games, not from a programming perspective, but from a general design perspective. There's an interesting chapter on code optimization and how to use shark to do profiling.
The topics presented are a loose collective of general tidbits all falling under the concept of iPhone game programming. It's almost like you went to a conference and these were a handful of random sessions that you sat in on.
I would have given the book five stars it it was a little more code-centric. After all, I'd like a bit more of a take-away besides the intangibles presented. I'm sure I'm going to apply these concepts once I find the game programming book that actually teaches me game programming theory and practice.
If you like this book, I *highly* recommend "iPhone Cool Projects". It's more code-centric than this one, but still has that loose feel that lets you jump into any chapter out of order.』 『

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Perfect car cradle fit for iPhone 3G and beyond) 『I purchased this cradle so I could securely place my iPhone on an old mount that was sitting idle for years since I abandoned the old cell phone. The old plate on my mount allowed me to attach the cradle with some difficulty though. It was just more time and fumbling in a tight space and without mirrors to see what I was doing; but everyone's install is different. The attachment issue is what caused me to remove a fifth star.』 『This RAM high strength composite cradle is designed to hold the following devices: Apple iPhone 3G Apple iPhone 3G S
