『This poster should almost be sold as a pair with the Uma Retro poster, (Pulp Fiction (Uma - Retro Ad) Movie Poster Print - 24" X 36"), hung just to the right of this poster, they make a fantastic memory of an excellent movie. I can't imagine a better scene from Pulp Fiction (although the brain duty moment would be pretty crazy).

These are good solid quality posters. Although prices change frequently, this is an absolute incredible bargain. Impossible to find this poster elsewhere for anywhere near this price. In addition, sellers change often - I happened to purchase this through Adam Hersch - this was the best customer service ever. I would gladly order from them again. This is simply a great poster to have on the wall. Put it on a wall you don't look at the whole day (not above your television or monitor), but on a wall you walk by occasionally so when you walk by, you'll smile thinking back to these characters.

『Nice poster with some obvious recommendations. Serves as a good reminder for when you are having a bad day or you are a little down. By no means will it "change your life" but it is a nice piece of work. Comes in a heavy-duty shipping tube so that there is no bending or damage from shipping.』

『Only because when we saw the previews for this on another DVD, it showed Thomas' mouth moving, as if it were done in CGI. My son was totally geeked for that, which is the only reason I bought it. Not a bit of it done the way the preview was, he was horribly disappointed. While we both loved the video and Pierce Brosnan as the narrator, we both felt let down by the misleading preview.

Anyway, the story, songs&narration were wonderful, but beware it's not done in CGI, it's the regular Thomas show.』

『Don't expect linear storytelling or a documentary, per se. This film offers a little of both. There's a loose plot in which the Beatles, who have become prisoners of their fame, try to break free and have a bit of fun, much to their manager's vexation. (Each of the Beatles gets at least one delightful little scene in which to shine except, curiously, for Paul McCartney; his "mixer" of a grandfather, played memorably by Wilfrid Brambell, is his surrogate in mischief.) There's all kinds of droll merriment along the way, with some of the Beatles' hits incorporated cleverly, but the real payoff is an extended concert scene at the end. Just a note -- some of the accents, most notably George Harrison's, can be challenging; try watching with the subtitles on.』

(Love the movie but this DVD stops in the middle!)

『This DVD is the best reproduction of the movie experience i have seen. The picture quality is excellent, the dialog is clear. Honestly my memory of the sound of the tunes isn't all that great from the original when I saw it in the theaters. The excitement of seeing this movie at the theater was such that any sound at all would have been acceptable. The sound of the tunes on the DVD version is all there, though I would have preferred real stereo or 5.1 surround. The only tune that seems to have that is in the "live performance" scene where you hear the girls screaming in the rear channels. This will have to do until they remix the entire movie...which i am sure they will. It is now in the wide screen format with some chop off at the top and bottom...but who cares? It wasn't obvious enough to make me aware of it, and frankly I like everything in widescreen anyway. This DVD took me back to that time in the sixties...and thats what i was looking for. Well done.』

『My kids love these movies! They sing the counting songs, and the alphabet songs all the time. Really fun movies that encourage toddlers and preschoolers to learn numbers, counting, letters, and the order of the alphabet. Highly recommended for any sesame street fan.』

『I think my husaband and I enjoy this video almost as much as our 22 month old daughter does. It includes alot of "vintage" Sesame Street number clips. The variety of formats is refreshing. Most important, it engages our daughter in learning about numbers and practicing counting.』

『Tired of lack of energy, or down in the dumps? I always wanted to start working out but always found a reason not to. Finally I mentally prepared myself that I would start and stick to it. After the first run through, I seriously thought I might die and told my son he may need to call 911 before the workout was over. I stuck to it and the next 2 days I felt like I had been hit by a truck. But I had the patience I promised myself. Today I have done the workout 4 times and wow, I can't believe the strength I have already built and I am no longer cursing under my breath at Susan Harris because she really does do a nice job. I know I will see results in 10 workouts, and I already feel so much better. Try it, you'll see.』

『I first came across the VHS tape back in the 90s. It is a great workout that will surprise you with the intensity. Yes, it looks like an exercise version of "One Crazy Summer" but once you get past that aspect, you're hooked.
I even purchased the DVD version and am returning to it now that my Curves location has moved too far for a convenient workout.

Also; get a length of 2 x 4 board at the hardware store - that is required for the leg and pec work. I went to Home Depot years back and had a 2-3 foot length cut - costs nothing and makes a difference.

Invest in a 1 pound leg weights to start and 3,5,8lb dumbbells from Target....

I just started back up on this last night and god, am I aching today. A good kind of ache - the great thing is you can bring up the workout with increasing your dumbbell poundage AFTER you've built your strength.

『When I saw the classics of vol. 2 and 3 were on dvd I did some internet searching to see if this one was on dvd yet, and lo and behold I ended up on Anna Benson's website (she is the creator of The Firm workouts in its early years), and that she is converting it to dvd to be released in September along with volume 4 time crunch.

Hopefully it will be available here on Amazon. Sure the decor, outfits and music in this volume are outdated but who cares because the workout can't be beat for getting a body into GREAT shape. I love, love, love this workout and I was in the best shape of my life when I used it over ten years ago.

I have other fitness dvds of the firm which are good but I missed this version because it shows results fast and I think it works out all areas of the body without alot focus on say just the legs, abs or arms.

I highly recommend this video and am so happy it's going to be on dvd.』

『Interval workouts incorporate a variety of activities that are powerful and short in duration. These intervals create an anaerobic workout that forces the body to adjust to variations of intensity and motion. Interval training has the real potential to burn fat and build strength.The Firm: Body Sculpting Basicsutilizes these same aerobic and anaerobic components to create a 60-minute workout that promotes strength and stamina. Instructor Susan Harris presents simple dance-style aerobic combinations and weightlifting techniques that are sure to make you break a sweat. This video is somewhat dated (lots of '80s-style leg warmers and traditional dance aerobic movements), but the content is so stellar that it would more appropriately be coined as a fitness classic. Pliés, squats, and split-leg lunges work the major muscles of the lower body, while lateral raises, curls, and push-ups concentrate on the upper body. Light weights (5 to 8 pounds) are used throughout this workout, and a set of ankle weights may be helpful if you are looking for a challenge. Cueing comes quickly and Harris does not give much information on form or body alignment. 『This will be my last ever VHS tape purchase on Amazon. This tape shouldn't have been sold because it was distorted and discolored. The tape was repeatedly rewound/ff from beginning to end on several different VCRS and still no luck. The thinking was it might have been a tape tension issue or a tracking issue but after four gyrations with four diffferent VCRs and after messing with tracking settings on all four VCRS no luck.

The entire movie with the exception of the first few minutes we're difficult if not impossible to make out because the top 50% or more of the screen was dis-colored and also completely distorted and stretched; regardless of the VCR it was played in. It's not worth my money trying to return the tape.

I'm disgusted with this purchase and the tape is going in the trash. What a rip-off.』

『What a nice movie! In this day-and-age, a movie this low-key and simply nice is refreshing to see. It's almost shocking, especially with Christopher Walken, playing against type. He and Glenn Glose end up being an inspiring romantic couple.

What I think I enjoyed best was the wonderful cinematography. With all the beautiful rural scenery, it was pretty to see. It was also nice to see Walken play a role this sedate and a pleasure to see a modern film that featured well-mannered kids, not spoiled brats. In fact, there are no nasty people nor bad language is this film, either. Yet, it is not sickeningly sweet, either.

It's not anything super dramatic that will knock your socks off, but a pleasant, very nice low-key 98 minutes to kick back and relax watching.』

『First off, let me clarify in my personal response that I've never been a fan of the historical fiction genre. Historical fiction books bore me, and they never seem to contain the excitement found in contemporary fiction. Sarah, Plain and Tall, while more character-centric than most historical fiction books, still just didn't catch my interest. I was just glad that unlike many historical fiction books, this one actually didn't shove random historical facts down the readers' throats in massive clumps--the historical details were there, but very subtle. Still, the plot was too plain, with not enough branches and wacky plot twists. Everything was hopelessly predictable, and I know children's authors can do much better than that. That being said, I'd still like to read the sequels (never can pass up a good sequel!) to learn more about the characters, especially since the books are such quick reads.』

『This wonderful family values oriented film really isn't a Christmas story (but yes, inbedded in the plotline is, of course, the "Christmas Box"). Without once again retelling the story (other reviewers have done that nicely), I'll just add my take . . .

This is a story about loneliness, workaholism, generosity, grief, love and family (both by birth and by association). A made for TV film, but is very, very well produced and executed. Rich sets and scripting. Great photography. Great direction.

The casting is right on. In my opinion, Richard Thomas can only play one character -- but that works in this film where he is the sensitive but ambitious and busy Richard Evans (Husband&Dad). Annette O'Toole (Evans' kinder and gentler side)and Kelsy Mulrooney function as Mom and daughter quite adequately.

Please allow me spend a few lines to talk about Maureen O'Hara. She plays the elderly, wealthy Mary Parkin, who employs the Evans family as live-in personal help. Although in my 50's, I never really was aware of Maureen O'Hara other than name recognition. I knew her as a faceless black&white film starlet, from a generation or two senior to my own. However, I know who she is now. WOW! She dominates this movie. She speaks paragraphs without ever talking (a talent she uses often in this film). Endearing, aloof, loving, hateful, distant, and still sensually attractive . . . she can do it all in spades and displays it even in this simple family story. A supreme performance.

I cringe at using the term "heart-warming", but it's a term that describes this film well. Easy to enjoy this one.』

『This is my favourite Christmas movie because it has Ms. Annette O'Toole in it who I believe should have become a Major Star. She co stars with Richard Thomas who she worked with in Stephen King's "It" and they do have a lot of on screen chemistry. Richard is a workaholic whose marriage is suffering and it is only when he becomes friends with Maureen O'Hara (who is one classy actress) that he begins to prioritize his life. This is pefectt family Christmas fare for everybody to enjoy. Love is indeed Eternal.Gee. That's the first time I ever got sentimental in one of my reviews and I have written over 350 of them!!!』

『I'm sometimes not a fan of these kinds of movies, but this one was special. Richard Thomas(John Boy) and his co-stars do an excellent job putting the spirit of giving in context with work and family. It's a wonderful message movie for the entire family. With so much violence and pornography on the screen these days, it's very refreshing to hear that movies like these can still have an impact and can be successful.

The first gift of Christmas was a child, and beyond that, love from God. Nice message.

(Why All the Passionate Haters?)
『OK OK I know there are many people on here who HATED the movie... I understand there were several things Bay and the writers could (and should) have taken out. But why all the Passionate Hate? Yes they should have taken out the whole humping scenes - the dogs and Wheelie were not needed I have no idea why Bay even filmed those much less kept them in the show. However the mother at college was pure comedy! With an action packed movie you need a little humor! Personally I think they could have developed the new Autobots and Optimus Prime's relationship with Sam more. I wish they would have done more about the Autobots than about the humans. So there are some things that I wished they had done differently too but as a whole I think the movie was well done. It was a summer movie that, for me and many others, was good if not great. The special effects were AWESOME. The fights were well choreographed. The music was both beautiful and thrilling. Critics here are WAY too harsh.
I know there are other people who have and will come onto this site who loved the movie... so where are they? Since when do the haters get the whole show? Come on people stand up and let your voice be heard!

『I purchased four Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen DVDs - two from Target and two from Amazon. None of the four worked in our DVD player (every other DVD we have works fine, including the brand new Star Trek DVD) - anyone else have that problem????』

(A crime against film-making)
『This movie includes blatant racism, overt sexism, gratuitous sexual content and violence, juvenile sight gags, and its most heinous crime- it tries to pass off all these things as being for the kids. Let's be real- this product is very much marketing to kids under 13 years of age, and the only reason this thing didn't get a hard R rating is because the filmmakers had enough money to bargain for whatever rating they wanted. It's absolutely sickening that this is the state of Hollywood.

Don't get me wrong- I'm not a religious person nor am I masquerading as a reviewer for a family website. I love action movies and explosions, and I even like appropriate racial commentary when it's done right. I don't appreciate scene after scene of mindless special effects interspersed with gradeschool-level humor from a junior-level director.

If you think watching robots who walk around like gorillas, talking in ebonics, with gold teeth, saying they "don't read much" (I am really not kidding- there's two of them), is a fine way to spend two and a half hours, then may Vector Sigma have mercy on your spark. Having an obviously ethnic stereotype made up as an Autobot in the first movie call the group "[...]" was already appalling- why take it further? Answer: Because people will pay money to see it, apparently.

Some will say that this is all subjective. Maybe the twins aren't really that racist, maybe it's okay for kids to see a robot with visible testicles (again, not kidding), and maybe more than one shot of dogs humping is justified somehow by the plot (I wish I was making this up!). Even if you wanted to try and grant all that, you still have to admit that the plot makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, and there are holes big enough to ride Devastator through. Why for example are metal robots grown in organic space-sacs, which not only contradicts all source material, but just doesn't make sense anyway? And you'd still have Michael Bay's terrible filmmaking, where there are too many quick cuts and the shakey camera is zoomed in too far on the action. With the overly complex robot designs, battles are often unintelligible blurs of gray and brown with random blocks of primary color thrown in for reference points.

The final justification by fans, over and over, is that this is just a kids' movie, and hey the original 1980s cartoon was pretty cheesy. Which somehow justifies filming dogs in the act of reproduction. No thanks.

『Pure. Popcorn. Entertainment. That's an exact classification of director Michael Bay'sTransformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Think ofTransformers 1on crack. In other words, this sequel took all of the extreme elements that made fans love the first movie and increased them exponentially. The action is nonstop, with battles and explosions from start to finish. The camera (without any subtlety) exploits Megan Fox's hotness to the max. As if she weren't enough, a new sex kitten (Isabel Lucas) is thrown into the equation. Shia LaBeouf is as charismatic as ever, and fills the starring role with ease. And then there's the humor. Sam's parents (Kevin Dunn and Julie White)provided some semi-raunchy laugh-out-loud moments in the first movie, but now they take it to the next level. Sometimes it seems like they are trying a little too hard, but it is still hilarious.

As far as the“plot” goes, the writers didn't waste much time--it's really just a context for the giant-robot death matches and dramatic slow-mo sequences. The movie kicks off two years later where the Autobots have formed an alliance with the U.S. government, creating an elite team led by Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel), in an effort to snuff out any remaining Decepticons that show up. The bad guys keep coming, and it turns out that a much more menacing force than Megatron is out there--and it is looking for something on Earth that is tied to the very origin of the Transformers race. Fans of the franchise will be delighted by the addition of many new robot characters (there are well over 40 in the sequel, versus only 13 in the first). The secondTransformershas shaped up to be one of the worst reviewed and most successful movies of all time. This strange pairing is really just an indication that this movie has one purpose: to entertain. The creators didn't want to waste time bogging down the action and drama with substance--which was arguably a good decision.--Jordan Thompson
