From the picture and the way it states "these candles," I thought I was ordering a set, but I only got one candle. I'm not disappointed at all with the candle, and now, looking back, I can see on the page that this is only one candle; however, I thought I should leave a comment stating that this is only one candle to help clear up anyone else's confusion. Other than the fact that I was a little let down it was not a set, the candle is great. It is one of the strongest smelling candles I've ever had. You really don't even have to burn it if you just want subtle scent; you can just leave the lid off of the jar.

This poster is wonderful. I've had it for over a year now, and the comments that people make about it never get old. It's just a really fun poster for any college student because people will say stuff like "I'd like to try that position", "Is that position possible?', "Isn't that position illegal in 15 states?". By seeing this poster other people also talk about sex more freely because it's right in front of their face. Like I now know about many more sexual experiences that others have encountered b/c people really like talking about the subject, esspecially when its presented in such a non threatening, very casual way.

This video is mainly geared toward heterosexual couples.
A lot of the positions that they cover in the video, my partner and I can't really pull off.
I'm sure if my man had the same parts as the woman in the video, then maybe we could, but then again, if my man had those parts, he wouldn't be my man then, would he...
I bought this to "spice up" mine and my husbands love making but compared to the couples on this video, we should have been giving them pointers- HOW BORING!!! There was nothing to either of the videos we purchased (Sex Essentials Videos: Seductive Sex Positions) and i would never recommend them to anyone. I have to say, I'm very surprised they were reviewed so highly- as there was NOTHING remotely seductive or erotic about either one.
This DVD is good for learning about sexual positions. But I am making this clear: None of the performances are actual intercourses. They are all acting, just like softcore movies. So if you want to see people actually getting it on, go somewhere else.

This video is tasteful...not really pornographic as it is informative, better than illustrated books, as it shows how to form the positions. Some positions are good to initiate foreplay, which is essential for true lovemaking, and some positions are perfect for switching to other positions, as they are varietions of classic well-known positions. The music is also tasteful....my partner actually became so erotic after watching half the video (without 3d glasses) that he initiated the "act" without the usual persuation (which was my usual complaint). Some positions do require a fit body, but as noted, you can get better with pratice..I highly recommend this product for shy partners who wish to explore romance and variety.....
I could do without the slightly cheesy background music. But other than that, there is nothing to complain about. It is done tastefully (definitely not pornographic) which makes it easy to watch. Instead of kama-sutra books, this video allows you to see exactly how each position is formed and kept. The commentaries are useful to explain what to expect with each position, as far as sensation and difficulties.

Actually 3½ stars but somehow sterile as penetration is not really shown (this is an anudt DVD) or genitals and I don't mean to show the way they do in XXX movies. Otherwise this is well done. I have glasses of my own so it was a liitle difficult to use 3D glasses but the 2D version is fine. So if you don'tlike seeing everything this is for you as the positions are inspriring and couples are good looking.
This DVD is extremely well put together. It exposes&details 50 positions with very informative (optional) narration that consicely explains the attractions of each position. The 3D glasses (included) are a kick for sure, perfect for parter participation (you get 2 pairs), but they are far from required and the program is not a gag. It's great. It's tastful. It's informative.

(Fay Wray screams her way into cinematic immortality)

When Fay Wray paased away at the age of 96 every single notice of her death mentions the role that made her immortal as the beauty loved by the beast in the 1933 classic "King Kong." Wray had been noticed in a few films before that, such as Stroheim's "The Wedding March" (1928), "Thunderbolt" (1929), "Doctor X" (1932), "Mystery of the Wax Museum" (1933) and "The Vampire Bat" (1933). Then came her rendezvous with the biggest leading man in history and Fay Wray made her claim to the honor of being the greatest screamer in movie history.

Fay Wray is remembered not just because she played opposite King Kong but also because as Ann Darrow she was both sexy and vulnerable. Plus she had the big ape's lung capacity beat six ways to Sunday. Granted, the special effects by Willis O'Brien are enough to make this a classic film, the cinematic forefather of "Jaws," "Jurassic Park" and other celluloid monster movies that involve something other than an actor in makeup. But every time you want to reduce "King Kong" to pure technical achievement, you hear Fay Wray screaming her head off.

The story was pretty much a cliché the moment it was set down on paper. Movie director Carl Denham (Robert Armstrong) has heard the legend of Kong and hires a ship to find Skull Island. Ann Darrow is starving and destitute, but photogenic and he hires her to be the beauty part of the equation in the film he has planned. Jack Driscoll (Bruce Cabot), the first mate of the tub they are traveling on takes an interest in the young girl's safety, and she responds with guarded affection. Then they get to the island and he discovers that he is indeed involved in a love triangle, but the third party is not Denham, but a giant ape.

One thing you have to give directors Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack credit for in this film is that they give Kong a big build up and then they deliver. On the way to the island Denham was making a film test with Ann and had her scream. Then she sees Kong for the first time and takes it to a whole new level. At that point the film becomes a series of action sequences as Kong takes the girl into the jungle, Driscoll leads a rescue party after her only to have Kong follow them back to the native village (the look of terror on Wray's face as she runs for her life through the jungle is equally memorable), which Kong proceeds to destroy before being captured. Then there is the final act of the drama as King Kong, the 8th Wonder of the World is put on display in New York City, only to break free, once again capture Ann, and take her to top of the Empire State Building (whose lights will be dimmed tomorrow night in Wray's honor).

I think the T-Rex attack sequence in "Jurassic Park" is one of the greatest in any monster movie ever made, and I have argued that in addition to the special effects and the masterful cutting of the scene, the sound of the T-Rex is an integral part of what makes the scene work so well. Tonight I am going to make the same argument for Kong's first appearance in "King Kong." After all, we are talking about mixing stop motion animation with a giant mechanical head, but such "primitive" special effects are forgiven because Fay Wray's screams convince you it is really happening. She was not remembered just because she was the girl in "King Kong" (quick, name the actresses who had the female lead roles in "Dracula" and "Frankenstein"). She was remembered because she was an integral part of the film's success (To save you the trouble of looking up the previous trivia point: Helen Chandler and Mae Clarke).

This is the "original uncut" version of the film, but it still does not include the legendary scene when four crewmen who are shaken off the log by Kong fall into a ravine where they are eaten alive by giant spiders. When first previewed the scene stopped the movie cold and Cooper pulled it from the film. The scenes that were cut in the late 1930s and not restored until the 1970s were (a) where Kong pulls Ann's clothes off; (b) the shots of the Apatosaurus (nee Brontosaurus) biting the sailors; (c) Kong eating natives when he breaks through the gate; (d) Kong stepping on a native; (e) Kong biting a New Yorker after escaping from the theater; and (f) Kong grabbing the wrong woman from the hotel and throwing her to her death. It would be nice if they could find the spider sequence or any of the other bits we know were cut by Cooper before the film was released, but it is probably never going to happen and we will just have to make do with Peter Jackson's recreation in his blockbuster remake. Even so, we will never forget Fay Wary.
It's the original KING KONG - still reigning as the ultimate achievement in cinematic fantasy-adventure! Celebrated as the greatest monster movie of all time, KING KONG'S unrivaled special effects and timeless story continue to enthrall and amaze. A classic of film-making wizardry! Originally, there was supposed to be an overhead shot of Kong falling from the empire state building. This was accomplished by adding Kong in post-production, falling towards the ground. Real footage of the building was used, but when the producers watched scene they realized that viewers could see through Kong, especially as he passed the darker ledges, so it was cut. This clip has made its way into past documentaries of the film but, more commonly, can be found in stills of the scene.

(BETTER THAN I EXPECTED)

If there were, I'd give this movie a negative five star. It's horrible. It's not the acting; it's the plot, the script, all the yelling and awkward moments in front of friends, and the ending? I won't give that away, but it not only made no sense, it looked the beginning of another movie, not the ending to this one. Horrible waste of two hours.
I don't know why, but I decided to watch this one afternoon, despite my general contempt for Hollywood romantic comedies. Well, the contempt just got bigger. This is a wretchingly poor film, one of the most tired, unbelievable (even by abysmally low Hollywood romantic comedy standards), and boring films I've seen in a while.

First of all, the main story of Vaughn and Aniston getting together and being a full fledged couple is garbage. It's another variation of the overbearing, obnoxious slob (Vaughn, who plays an obnoxious, terminally immature tour guide in Chicago) with a cerebral, intelligent woman who works in an art gallery (Aniston). These two would NEVER get together in real life, much start a real relationship. Opposite may attract, but these two are at the furthest opposite ends of the pole. And at the beginning of the film when Vaughn and Aniston meet, she says she's with someone. Who was this guy? Was he so bad that she would dump him for an overbearing, but charming at first sight, jerk like Vaughn? Well, I've seen some women dump the nicest, most caring guys for completely selfish, immature jerks, and regret it years later, so maybe there's a bit a truth in that. Regardless...

The dialogue in the film is worse than a made for TV movie. It's badly written, and Vaughn and Anniston can't make the material any better. Vaughn is rather one note in his career, always playing obnoxious, over confident guys like this, and Anniston, as beautiful as she is, is not a particularly good actress. She has limited range. The film seems very long at 90 minutes, and it's ulimately grueling to watch to the end. There's a few laughs (mostly from Anniston's singing brother, but even those are overdone), but overall, it's one of the worst films I've seen in a very long time.
I found myself relating to this movie. It was funny to me. The ending was great.

One couple, one condo, and one break up equals fighting without end. Boyfriend takes girl for granted, girlfriend says things she doesn't mean equals break up.

This is not a family movie because of language and some content.
A pretty entertaining, thoughtful movie if you ignore the bouncy/fun art on the DVD box and forget the bouncy/fun marketing campaign when this movie hit theaters a couple of years back. This is not a romantic comedy but rather a drama with some comedy sprinkled in, or- at best- a 50/50 mix of drama and comedy. If you go in knowing that, you won't be put off (as I was until I got into the right groove) by all the intense, shadowy lighting and the intense, pain-laced arguments. Once you know what you're getting, you'll enjoy the well-crafted intensity and the handful of funny moments, too (Jon Favreau is a riot as Vince Vaughn's protective friend).

The extra features are pretty illuminating, too. That's where we learn that the film's tone was unambiguously intentional on the part of Vince Vaughn and director Peyton Reed, who essentially said, "we hate those brightly lit, goofy romantic comedies that don't have a thread of true complexity in them!" Oh, and for an entertaining lesson in the art of film-making, be sure to watch the Vince Vaughn/Jon Favreau improv sessions, also among the special features. You'll see five or so improvised takes of a conversation in a bar between the two actors, while in character. It's fun to see what responses they come up with on the spur of the moment as each actor takes turns throwing openings and straight lines at the other. In the end, pieces of all the takes were edited together to produce the actual scene in the movie.

So, again, if you don't mind a little nuance and complexity in your comedic dramas (or your dramatic comedies, or whatever you want to call this mixed-up genre), give "The Break-Up" a try.
This is a great rainy Saturday movie. I'm not a big fan of Jennifer Aniston because she is always, well, Jennifer Aniston. But that works for her. The same thing with Vince Vaughn - he's the big goof in comedies and eerily frightening in dramatic vehicles. But, together, they make a nice team with believeable chemistry. They are nicely supported by Jason Batement and Jon Favreau. Vincent D'Onofrio is a chameleon, barely recognizeable as the over-analytical detective in television's "Law&Order: Criminal Intent". The plot here is a lot less violent than "The War Of The Roses", but telling the same story in a more civilized and delightful manner. The ending was perfect, leaving the viewer with the sense that there's room for a sequel. Hopefully, that will never happen, but we can just follow Aniston's real-life workaholic/on-again-off-again romances/friendships/"friends-with-benefits"/booty calls/boyfriends-of-the-week/still trying to get over Brad and Angelina/ saga.

The picture quality of this release of Casablanca is amazing. It is clearly the best quality ever made available to the public. (I'm anxious to read reviews of the new Blu-Ray release to learn whether there is any meaningful improvement over this fantastic version.)

Many believe "Casablanca" was the greatest movie of the 20th century. Its ending is perhaps the most moving of any movie. In the course of the film, the cynical, self-interest hero (Rick) gradually develops to a point where he realizes his own interests are outweighed by the monumental events overtaking the world in the 1940s:

"Ilsa, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that. Now, now... Here's looking at you kid."

So this cynical man who "sticks his neck out for no one", in the end, gives up the love of his life so as to make a direct contribut
