(rocy loves them!)

(Old Dog has new treat)
My dog loves these sweet potatoes! He runs to his favorite eating rug as soon as he gets one!
My dog is 10 years old and a breed known for strong teeth but in the past couple of years he has not been able to enjoy many of them. These are wonderful for him. He does not have digestion problems or any issue chewing them. Nor does he have the digestion issue that tend to smell up the room so a big plus. I buy them in bulk now because I can not keep enough around. And they do not stain the carpet or bedding.
An excellent chew for all dog sizes. Made of whole thick slabs of sweet potato, dehydrated. The chews have a hard surface, excellent for dental health, and a chewability that dogs love. Smaller breeds will chew these for fifteen to twenty five minutes. Medium to larger sized dogs will chew them faster, of course. All Sams Yams Dog Chews are particularly well suited for senior dogs whose teeth and gums are more sensitive.

(Thomas)

(Dry, dull, and a terrible user interface)

(Great video - narrated by Alec Baldwin - not Ringo)

(James and the Red Balloon Is Awesome!)

(New Friends here!)
I got this for my three year old, he is crazy about this series. I even found my self enjoying it.
I like sharing as much time as I can with my son. This is great way to have conversations and be together. The added bonus is George Carlin is the Narrator.. A very enjoyable dvd as well as series.

My toddler likes it. Her older brother hated it when he was of the appropriate age. But this adult finds it deadly dull to the point of painful. It's the only video of Thomas tank we ever bought, and it will be the last.

The DVD user interface is inexcusable. You have to sit through a LONG introduction before it lets you make a selection. The first time might be cute, the 50th time is enough to put a harried parent over the edge. If you pick the music, you don't get music, you get another menu screen requiring another button to be pressed. When the DVD is done, it defaults to some meaningless screen, not the menu page. To me, the lack of user-friendly interface is a deal breaker.

This is a wonderful video to start your child on if you're not familiar with Thomas the Train. Alec Baldwin is the story teller and does such a marvelous job. I'm glad they finally got an actor to do the story telling! Anyway, the lead story tells about how James and the other trains are worried that the new hot air balloon will take away their passengers when, in fact, they learn that they have make MORE passengers because of the balloon. There's no name calling in this one, just a very nicely done video that all can enjoy. My little guy just loves it! It's very well done and the colors are so vibrant. Highly recommend!
James And The Red Balloon has to be the best Thomas video I've seen in a long time. All the stories were great and they mostly taught the lesson of, Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover. The stories are very entertaining and funny too. Here they are:

James And The Red Balloon 5/5:
Thomas takes a hot air balloon and is very excited to see it take off into the sky. But James arrives and is afraid that the balloon will take away all there passengers. Now Thomas is not so excited anymore after what James had said, is James right? Find out in this story.

Twin Trouble 4.5/5:
Donald&Douglas do pretty much everything together. But when they both get in an accident, Donald blames Douglas and says that he pushed him into the hay wagon. So the twins refuse to talk to each other and Donald goes to work somewhere else. But the twins soon start to miss each other.

Edward The Really Useful Engine 4.5/5:
All the big engines say that Edward is too old and needs to be retired. The news soon spreads to Sir Topham Hatt who immediately sends Edward away to help Stepney. But when Gordon stops on his hill, who should come and help him?

The World's Strongest Engine 6/5:
Henry gets sent to the repairs after an accident with some freight cars and the only engine available to fill in Henry's spot is Diesel. Diesel is up to his no good tricks again, this time he wants to prove that he is the world's strongest engine
by pulling all the freight cars at once. But his trick backfires on him and he ends up in a sticky situation, where the true world's strongest must pull away all the cars.

Rusty Saves The Day 4/5:
Sir Topham Hatt closes down Skarloey and Rheneas' line due to the bad condition of it. Then Sir Topham Hatt closes the Quarry for 2 weeks because they are blasting there. Rusty uses this time to repair Skarloey and Rheneas' railway, but the engines find out that it will take longer than expected. Can they fix it in time?

Dunkin' Duncan 5/5:
Duncan gets to careless at the inclined railway and ends up in a embarressing situation where he'll have Sir Topham Hatt to deal with.

"Down By The Docks"(Music Video)5/5:
A very catchy song about the docks, gateway to the sea.

Again, great Thomas video, I guarantee that you will like it too. I hope my review has been helpful. :)

(Voughn Williams Lark Acending)

(absolutely wonderful)

(Vaughan Williams)

(My Fortunate Discovery)

(Definitive Vaughn Williams Masterworks)
Not quite what I expected and not as good as I had hopped for.
My Fault - not theirs

Many have already reviewed this CD very positively, so just a brief word. This is probably the most attractive intro. you could have to Vaughan Williams - all the works, whether well known or not so well known, are most beautiful, the recording is excellent and the performances under Boult, who knew exactly how to get the beauty and the poetry out of VW without losing sight of the structure, could not be better. You just can't go wrong - it's a glorious CD.
Vaughan Williams: Serenade to Music; The Lark Ascending; Fantasia on Greensleeves; English Folk Song Suite; In the Fen Country; Norfolk Rhapsody No. 1

While this is a re-issue of a 1969 recording it is an excellent presentation by conductor Sir. Adrian Boult.

Prior to this CD, I have never owned a Vaughan Williams recording. I had heard of him through a friend of mine who was a big opera and Broadway musical buff in the early 1990's and I assumed he was of the latter. Ted Libbey had recommended "The Lark Ascending" as a potential funeral memorial piece and I was curious and listened to the teaser 30 second spot on Amazon. It was intriguing enough so I bought it.

After listening to it twice (in a row!), I must say that it is very appealing. Symphonically, it has rich sound and there are many beautiful serene passages. I very much like the "Serenade to Music." The voices are soaring and beautiful. In addition, the "English Folk Song Suite" and the other remain pieces are also very engaging. Boult conducts with tenderness and conviction. Libbey is right, "The Lark Ascending" has star quality as a memorial or simply a beautiful lifting and reflective symphonic movement. The mind can imagine the bird rising free into the air and Hugh Bean's violin takes you there.

This CD is a total turn on and I look forward to hearing more Vaughan Williams!

These are the definitive, reference performances and recordings of Lark Ascending and Serenade to Music that I keep coming back to. The best of these Vaughn Williams masterworks.

(The Saddle Club Ride Again!)

(horse crazzzzzy lover!!!!!!!!!!)

(My feve movie!)

(a great movie)

(Call me Crazy Crazy)
The Saddle Club - Stevie (Sophie Bennett), Lisa (Lara Jean Marshall) and Carole (Keenan MacWilliams) - ride again in this movie edited from the TV series.

First, Jake accidentally sets the barn on fire, and Red gets blamed. The girls help prove Red's innocence. Then Max and Deborah both work up the courage to propose to each other, with some help from the girls. Now there's a wedding to plan! But when Lisa is thrown off her horse, will the wedding be cancelled?

This fun movie was edited from episodes 21, "Track Record", 22, "First Refusal", 25&26, "The Bridal Path" Parts 1&2, from season 1. (Strangely enough, all the photos on the DVD cover seem to be from season 2!) Those unfamiliar with the TV series may be confused, however. The movie starts off with no character introductions, and proceeds forward assuming the viewer knows who everyone is. The copyright is 2002, although the DVD packaging is copyyright 2005 and states "all-new movie", which this is not. It is, however, the first and only time I've seen these episodes in widescreen. It's also the first time I've heard the full version of "Hello World".

Best friends Ashley and Melanie appear together at the beginning. After this, Ashley figures into a subplot without Melanie. Melanie turns up again in the finale without Ashley, although it would make sense for Ashley to be present.

Two "Let The Buyer Beware!" warnings: 1) When you stick this DVD in your player, you will be forced to sit through four minutes of trailers. You can't skip past them, although you can fast forward through them. Those with older DVD players may have problems playing the Goodtimes logo preceding the trailers (!) and trailer 3. 2) All the special features are DVD-Rom content. If you don't have a computer with a DVD-Rom player (I don't), then you can't play the games.

This movie is great i watch the show and sing the songs visist the website and read the books i have a bunch of horses myself so this helps me with my vocab and also helps me come up with a solution if anything like this ever happened to my horses i highly recomend this movie
I haven't seen this movie, but I've seen all the episodes! They're my fave episodes! Get this SC movie!
this is the best saddle club movie ever! buy this movie for horse lovers or just buy it for yourself! you will be very happy with this movie so please buy!
Okay, my sister and I love horse movies, horse books, and of course, real horses, so please do not bad mouth me because I rate this so low. I read the Saddle Club books, and I recommend those to everyone, but this Mane Event, totally not what I expected. It seems like the girls are more into...boys than horses. I like the other movies, though I'm not really wild about them. This movie is not something I would recommend to horse crazy girls.

(Bakshi Classic Does Not Disappoint)

(A REALLY CRAZY AND SICK CARTOON OF THE 70'S!!! COOOL!!!!!)

(fritz the cat)

(Nastalgic)

(Fun for a laugh)
I saw a reference to Ralph Bakshi in a current Hobbit story, which referenced Bakshi's forgettable foray into Tolkien territory. But, I remembered the x-rated animated toon of my teens - the only animated feature ever to give me a partial, right in the theatre. Anyway, I got on Amazon later that day and bought Fritz and The Nine Lives of Fritz and allowed my wife to give me them for Xmas. My wife thinks they are puerile, prurient, and amateurish, but I still like them. I had forgotten that these were R. Crumb characters, which entails some hilarious, if not sophomoric social commentary on the pretensions of hippies and such. All the prurient scenes are of pets and farm animals, so if you get turned on, well, that's your issue to deal with, for me I don't worry about that and just enjoy these classics from my youth. You should too.
Man I love the 70's (that's the main reason that I bought this film), they also say that the first film is about the 60's but I DON'T CARE! I only care about the 70's!!

The reason for me that this cartoon is SOO COOL is because of the MASSIVE FOUL LANGUAGE!!! The drugs and sex scenes were also cool (but don't worry they weren't THAT intense but still sicky), the concept of making fun of politicians was FUNNY and the cool character desing and animation were GREAT!
I think that the soundtrack could be better but the movie still AWESOME!.

This film is ever WORSE than Ren and Stinpy, Heavy Metal and Meet the Feebles! IS SOOOOO SICK AND DISSGUSTING!! But I like it!! Because is from the 70's and everything that is from the 70's is cool for me!!! (I didn't know that the 70's was such a CRAZY decade).

WARNING: This low-budget movie contains MANY controvertial subjecs and ethnic stereotypes! But we have to understand that it was made ONLY for adults and it was made in a time of great political changes and war!

Adios.

I remembered this on the big screen many years ago THIS IS NOT FOR YOUNG KIDS VERY ADULT CONTENT
Anyone that lived in the early 70's, can get nastalgic and remember the "good ol' days".......I recommend this for anyone that saw it then...and would like to remember some of the old times.....toke&enjoy!
And social insight to the 60's/70's. A bunch of funny, and quite crude and racially offensive cartoons, but still made with talent and good. Don't take it too seriously, though.

Heh, just would love to see the "Freak Brothers" animated, esp. "Fat Freddy's Cat"! Garfield should see it so he'd not give Jon so hard a time.

(Lords of Flatbush)

(Great little classic in the American Graffiti mode makes it's DVD debut,Stallone and Winkler in before they were famous roles!!!)

(Pre-Grease)

(Hilarious and Poignant Masterpiece)

("Bulldog" COLUMBUS)
Great movie, takes me back to a time when you could lube your car's engine by rubbing your greasy head up against it.
So glad to have this little gem of a movie on DVD in Anamorphic Widescreen format, the picture is a bit soft and the sound could be better, but this is a very low budget film about life in the 50's(simialr to American Graffiti),so it looks fine enough for me,some better extras would have been nice(all that's included are a very rough looking original theatrical traier and some bios for a few of the stars, and 2 so called bonus trailers for the films Bugsy and La Bamba(,but overall a fine DVD,much better than VHS!!! See Sylvester Stallone before is Rocky role(actully if watch the film,he's starting to bulk up and you even will see him using a hand grip in one scene, hmm getting prepared to go the distance,he would make to classic Death Race 2000 next, next is a pre Fonzie Henry Winkler, also in "Lords" gang are Perry King and Paul Mace, other fimilair faces are also present including Susan Blakely,Paul Jabara,Dolph Sweet,Ray Sharky and Armand Assante spelled in the closing credits as Assanti. A great little cult claasic full of stellar preformances!!! Two thumbs up!!! A+
This is a pretty good movie. It is pre-grease, for those who are wondering. Grease actually came out a year after this was made. Here's a little tidbit of information, the character Stalone played-Stanley Rosiello, is what the Happy Days crew based Henry Winkler's character-The Fonz, off of.
This disjointed look into the mentality of four not-so bright shop class dropouts is unforgettable in that it captures all the hormonal angst and harmless thuggery of growing up in the 50's. It was a bygone era, where greasing up your hair and riding a motorcycle predated today's sideshows and drivebys. Stallone and King are unforgettable in their honest portrayals without a hint of selfconsciousness. Their girlfriends are as dimwitted as they are. Susan Blakely as the well-to-do girl interested in Perry King plays the role perfectly and honestly. Whether you're a Stallone fan , are into the 50's, or just want to laugh uncontrollably, don't miss this one!
I grew up in Philadelphia and I remember guys like this Brooklyn quartet.
This is a hard-to-find film, but well worth it. I remember first seeing "The Lords Of Flatbush" at the theatre and when it came out on DVD, I was glad to eventually get my own copy. This is a "historical" film since it was the starting point for most, if not all, of the main characters. The actors' dress, hair styles, language, cigarette smoking, toothpick chewing, girlfriends and situations are "timely"... and the cars are wonderful. I flashed back! "Cool, Cats....Cool"

WhenThe Lords of Flatbushwas released in 1974, Sylvester Stallone was still an unknown actor polishing his screenplay forRocky, and Henry Winkler was approaching TV superstardom as "Fonzie" in the first season ofHappy Days. In this modest, low-budget feature, they play second and third fiddle (respectively) to Perry King, whose respectable career, ironically, would never reach such stratospheric heights. As for their costar and diminutive fourth "Lord of Flatbush," Paul Mace appeared in only one more movie after this (Stallone'sParadise Alley), and was killed in a 1983 traffic accident at the age of 33. Such is the random nature of fame and fate.

The movie itself is noteworthy mostly for the pre-stardom appearances of Stallone and Winkler, and a strong costarring role for that most ubiquitous of '70s actresses, Susan Blakely. Despite its amateurish style, muddy sound quality, and rambling scenes that have casual appeal but minimal narrative momentum, the movie is blessed with laid-back authenticity, recognizing the value of awkward pauses and jumpy rhythms of conversation. The ensemble of self-named Lords--four leather-clad rebels in 1957 Brooklyn, moving reluctantly toward adulthood--is solidly cast, and even the most familiar scenes (like making out at a drive-in showingFrom Here to Eternity) ring with engaging truth. Codirector Martin Davidson later covered similar territory inEddie and the Cruisers, and Barry Levinson transcended this shoestring affair with his 1980 classicDiner, butThe Lords of Flatbushstands on its own as an earnest and lightly entertaining drama that boosted its costars to bigger and better things.--Jeff Shannon

TV Teddy Videotape Series. The kids sell lemonades and cookies. Schemer and Schemee came along and encouraged them to raise the prices and sell low-quality products. When Midge Smoot bought the cookies and found out how awful tasting they were, she got mad at Schemer. Mr. Conductor shows that when you stand up for what's right, good fortune often follows.
