A bread tray with the sentiment "Bless This House". The sentiment and graphics are raised up a teeny bit from the surface of the tray, but not enough to create a mess for cleaning any foods cooked/warmed/served on it. It is HEAVY!!! With approx. 1 1/2" depth on the narrow sides and 1" on the longer sides, nothing slides off or spills over if it is slightly tipped. It is a little over 10.5" x 6" at the widest part on the top and narrows in as it goes toward the base. Stuningly beautiful, with an appearance like a hybrid of sterling silver and pewter, but not that 'brushed' look. The graphics and verbiage appear to be outlined in a shiny black enamel. I don't know what it is exactly, but it doesn't scratch or chip or melt.
I was hesitant at first even though the instructions indicated this was safe for cooking and serving food and beverages. However, little by little I found myself reaching for this time and again for hundreds of uses. As a bread tray for warm homemade bread at meal time, as a fruit bowl on the counter/table, I've even flipped it over and used it as a trivet for a hot serving bowl on the table. It keeps warm/hot things warm/hot and cold things cold for quite a while. I've actually put it in the toaster oven (perfect fit) for rewarming lasagne, pizza (crust stays crispy), breakfast muffins and croissants, grilled cheese and poppers. I've served crudite (?), ok, so I'm not real fancy - I call it veggie platter, and I loved the way it kept the veggies cold and crunchy. It looks a bit small at first glance, but once I began using it, it seemed to grow and grow. I've been to their website many times wanting to get some of these for friends and family, but left empty-handed due to price and shipping costs. Just this morning, I thought about Amazon. (Yeah! DUH on my part, I know)! Prices are amazingly lower for most of the products and my Prime Membership will help out also.
Although I don't see the "Bless This House" tray offered here, it isn't on the Wilton Armetale web site either. Wanted 2 of those particular trays as house warming gifts: one for my nephew who just bought his first home and one for his sister, my niece, who just moved into a new home. With homemade bread and homemade jam I've just made from the garden, I thought it would be a nice gift that would last. Think I'm going with the "Home Sweet Home" trays instead.
Oh, this goes in the freezer too. I've used it to hold ice cubes just before serving iced tea and they don't start melting and stick together nor do they start swimming in 10 seconds. Haven't tried serving shrimp cocktail on it, but I sure do intend to do so!

Here is the Largo from"Winter"only it is played on panpipes by the New Age artist Zamfir. The sound is hauntingly beautiful. There is a sonata for flute and harp by Bach, the biggest name in the period and Vivaldi's"L'Estro Armonico"as well as Telemann's Suite in A for Recorder. One particular piece I enjoy and think you will too is the melodic and elegant Concerto Grosso No. 12 by Handel, the slow movement Larghetto E Piano. It is sheer tonal beauty. There is more concertos by Vivaldi, whose use of the flute is always very reflective and dreamy and even a solo aria from a motet of his, the soprano Elly Ameling sings"Nulla In Mundo Pax", a lyrical-coloratura showcase which crowns and concludes this gorgeous album.』

There is a good cross sampling of various Baroque pieces and Baroque artists. The variety is the spice that makes this CD worth buying and listening to over and over again. This CD also works well on shuffle, which remakes it into a brand new album.
There are a lot of oboes and string on this disc, and being a former oboist, I am electrified as I hear that instruments mellow honk!

They are pretty (though nothing special), but there are 6 of them. Out of twelve that's disappointing, but then I read the booklet and found that there are an additional 2 tracks you can get on the computer. One of them is called Story, which is more of a spoken poem; the other I'm not sure but I'm calling it Far Away and it's very beautiful. A lovely album altogether.
About the extra tracks, you can get them only on the computer. For windows I'm not sure, but the 'presentation' doesn't work on my Mac. However, you can access the folder called 'gary media' and drag the tracks to iTunes (or your desktop). Along with the two complete songs, you also get a lot of sample songs for other albums.
The booklet that comes along with the CD explains how to get the tracks, and has the lyrics for the 12 tracks on the CD. Pretty artwork!
Very different from the first Gary Stadler CD I got, Deep Within a Faerie Forest (the tracks in addition to being beautiful are also cool), which I recommend, but Stephannie has a sweet voice and the songs are pleasing to the ear with a few treasures.』

(Definitely off the beaten path) 『This is a CD I enjoy. It is definitely not within the mainstream of most musical styles. It was the inclusion of Lisa Lynne on a couple of selections that encouraged me to buy it without having heard it. Generally, I was not disappointed although this CD doesn't inspire me as much as some other New Age and Native American music I have. For me, the treasure in this CD is the song "Sa'Brooke", which features Stephannie singing softly over gentle, evocative music in a gaelic-sounding language which, according to the insert, she essentially came up with herself. Her voice is sweet, passionate and inspiring in a simple melody which perfectly compliments the gentle arrangement. "Deanash", though nice, is basically "Garden of Dreams" without the vocals or orchestral arrangement. The same could be said for "Heartmagic", a piano solo which is really "Sa'Brooke" without the vocals or orchestral arrangement. To my ear, these two variations represent a failure on the part of the producer to avoid repetitiveness. It is a good CD for background ambiance while reading or writing.』
(Fairy This, Fairy That.) 『This is the kind of album that pushes me into a new age crisis. While there is nothing inherently wrong with it, the fact that Stadler opted for a 'cute' title and album cover is a warning that the potential for great silliness in the name of a music genre lurks in the bushes.
For the most part, this never materializes, although my slight deafness reduces the impact of lyrics that are a bit lightheaded. Musically the album is sometimes hackneyed (angelic choirs, etc.), but always pleasant to hear. Little moments, like Deanash make up for the less successful parts and overall I rate this album as good background for contemplative or creative moments.
This album was originally intended for performance with Singh Kaur. Unfortunately, the singer died before the recording and Stephannie took Singh Kaur's place. Unfortunately, I say, because Stephannie's voice has a 'little girl' edge and breathiness that was totally absent from Singh Kaur's. This gives the singing a trivial sound when it deserves better. On the bright side, though, is Lisa Lynne's appearance on harp. Essentially, this is a break-even for the listener.
Frankly, I would go with Fairy Night Songs and only buy this album if it is exactly your cup of tea. New age vocals are difficult on a good day and you are likely to be a bit disappointed. Listen to Fairy Night Songs and Sa'Brooke - you will see what I mean. But the instrumental work is good. A swarm of nemotodes have sucked all the juice out of his pineapple home, leaving only a pebble behind. What's a homeless guy and his snail to do? Whilst he thinks he can move back in with his parents (naturally, this is a big celebration to Squidward), Patrick believes there are other options. Like building a new house. Or becoming his rock mate. But both are easier said than done... I've only seen it once, so I can't make too big a leap when it comes to ratings. But since it has 2 big Squidward scenes, of which I am a huge fan (Squid, I mean), I must rate it... - 9 outta 10.
Band Geeks. Let's face it, Squidward's kinda always had a dream to be a world famous musician. So he isn't likely to pass up a chance to perform, at the Bubble Bowl, with his arch rival from high school and band class Squilliam Fancyson watching, in a hurry. The problem? He doesn't have a band. So he recruits everyone in Bikini Bottom at short notice. Will the band flop and crush Squidward's one chance of happiness into little tiny bite-size pieces, or will it be a sweet sweet victory? Genius. Pure genius. Addicted from first watch. - 20 outta 10 (I tried to make the rating meter bigger, it was that good!)
Ripped Pants. SpongeBob's always been a little jealous of Sandy hanging out with Larry sometimes. But when he gets the chance to impress both at the weight lifting section in Goo Lagoon (by lifting 2 marshmallows on a stick), he's humiliated when he accidentally rips his swim pants!! That is, until he finds out they're laughing with him, not at him. So if lifting weights gets a big laugh, then frisbee in face must kill, and surfing must knock them dead. But what about pretending to drown? It's got a song, which is always a good thing. - 9 outta 10.
Culture Shock. You know Squidward. Stuffy, boring... well, that's how the public see him. But inside he's a squid with dreams at hitting the big time. So when Mr Krabs needs a gimmick to get customers back (the place has been deserted for a while), naturally Squidward gets the idea for a talent show; the chance for him to bring some culture "to this cultureless wasteland we call Bikini Bottom; not to mention the money..." But finding talent and keeping it isn't as easy as it looks, especially as over confident Squidward wants the whole thing to be about himself and his interpretive dancing. Unfortunately, the public don't feel the same way. Can Squid pull something out of the hat (or, um, tentacles), or is it all down to a star struck sponge with square pants and a mop with no underwear at all? I think this episode is the first episode in Series 1 (so really, like, ever) to show Squidward's passion for the arts. But I feel maybe Squidward suffered too much in this ep. Can't they take it easy on him for just 1 ep? - 9 outta 10.
So there you go. If you haven't seen them before, get it. If you have, well, get it anyway, and celebrate the quality of these eps. However, that's more than I can say, for I haven't even seen it. It lightens my heart with laughter, on those days when the world is too much with me. I consider it one of the best things I've ever bought myself.』

The viewer in my experience tends to take films that the producers of a TV series do and associate them with that point of origin, the way any David Spade, Wil Ferrell or Mike Myers and Dana Carvey vehicle is seen as an SNL big-screen spinoff. Also if they'd waited a few years until the turn of the new century brought us such classics as the Flintstones feature starring John Goodman, they would have benefitted from the creation of that new sub-genre; live action movies based on animated cartoons. And the choices for the starring roles might have been more believable. Like Cher as Natasha (she already has the looks and the voice, all she would have had to do is learn the East Bloc accent). And maybe Danny DeVito as Boris.』

Stiletto or 22 oz. steel framer. I really like how the magnet for one-handed nail sets is closer to the face than my Stiletto. It lowers the percentage of nail 'flip-outs'. Having the claw so long makes carrying beams and headers, leveraging walls, etc. fairly easy, but pulling nails is harder than the more curved, shorter Stiletto. The 19" handle is wonderful when driving sinkers through the plates for a stud wall, and reaching high above the head, but becomes almost a liability in tight spaces. Also, it is rounder in diameter more than I prefer, which when coupled with the center of balance being slightly off due to the long claw, raises the occurrence of 'handle roll'.
In summary:
Pros: -large size -long claw -big face -long handle -still lighter than a steel hammer - packs a punch
Cons: -large size -long claw -big face -long handle -harder to use in tight corners -not as handy as a 14 oz.
All in all, I use this Dalluge when I have the room to swing, then switch to a Stiletto when space confines. Still worth the $57 I paid!

I bought the Dalluge hammer with 16 ounce titanium head and 19 inch curved(axe) hickory handle. The Dalluge hammer was $120.00 + shipping wen I bought it. The head of the Dalluge 16oz is larger than other titanium hammer heads. Its sleek, has long sharp claws, and the handle will fit any hand. Personally I liked a slightly thicker handle than the Dalluge handle, but thats personal taste, so I think the point is moot. I sealed my handle with a few coats of Varathane® Spray Polyurethane, because I am in the rain allot, so you may want to do this and also seal the top of the handle in the eye of the head. The Dalluge Head is a bit larger and may make it difficult to get a nail into a tight spot, Stiletto hammers have small heads and this is less than a problem for them. This point is something to consider, but I think it makes for a week point for a negative opinion(its not that important). Using this hammer, its like this hammer puts the nails in for you. I have used a Vaughan Steel 23oz for years before finding the awesome qualities of Titanium. Before switching to a Dalluge Titanium I have used: Dead-On Wood Handle, The heads come loose and the claws are too thick to split plates. Stiletto Wood handle, If you can find one get an "Older" Stiletto because the nail sets on the old style heads have more clearance for the head of the nail to set(stick a 16D on a bran new stiletto hammers nail set and you will see that the nail cannot fully seat down, nothing a quick pas with a grinder would not fix though), also there is more meat on the claws of the older style, and the older style handles are beefier. Stiletto Titanium handle, A good hammer but hickory absorbs more shock than a I-Beam of Titanium, In a tight spot you cannot use this hammer to hit a nail on the side of the head, and the new ones with a side nail puller don't work as well as they would like you to think they do. Estwing Steel handle, If this hammer could say one word it would be TWANGG! because thats what my arm and wrist feels. If there was a top Ten(10) list of great framing hammers and Dalluge was #1, a close second would be the: The Vaughan Ti-Tech 16oz Axe Handle Hammer Framing Titanium Wood Handle Hammer This one is a good trade off instead of the Dalluge for one reason. It has a Steel cap face, on a Titanium head, so you don't have to be as care full with what you are striking. You could beet the hell out of anything you want, and thats something you cant and should not do with a Titanium face headed hammer.
Milled vs un-Milled: The milled face of a Titanium hammer head will smush down over time, and will do so faster than a steal headed hammer... Its not a big deal, here is why. Every framer/carpenter should be able to pound nails just fine with a smooth faced hammer, if you cannot and you buy a Titanium hammer with milled face to make up for you're inept ability. You now have until the milled face smooths out to get good at it. All hammers do this, I suggest that wen buying a Titanium hammer you buy a "Smooth Face". Wen a Milled Face hammer smooths out it can create a concave head face, because as the milled spikes get smushed down they push out and fill in the lines that have been milled to create the head grip. This can lead to a problem, wen nailing and hitting the hammer face flat, the nail head its self dose not sink flat to the board because of the deformed hammer head. The Dalluge hammers dont have this problem hardly at all, for there hammer heads are slightly rounded or convex and the milling is very shallow (Siletto hammer heads are nearly flat and suffer from this problem more than others).
DO-NOT-EVER: hit concrete with a Titanium hammer, hit anything with the claw harder that wood(that means do not hit nails with the claw ether), try to grind the face with a power grinder(you CAN use a hand file if you wish), try to take nails out the wrong way(if you don't know the right way you Shouldn't be using a hammer), hit a nail with the edge of a head(it WILL chip), hit another hammer face such as a steel hammer(you're Titanium hammer will deform), leave it in the rain/sun(the handle will loosen but you can put another wedge in the top), put a nail in the handle to fix a wobbling handle(use a wedge, if you use a nail you are not smart), lend it out to a friend or co-worker.
Buy a Dalluge and you will get noticed. A co-worker liked mine so much he bought it from me after use-ing it for only 10 minutes! . He was using a heavy steel club made by Kobalt. He was a Big Strong Man and swung his Kobalt Club like an oger. After getting my Dalluge, his old hammer sat in the back of his Ram Truck and rotted away. Kobalt is just a cheap line of tools made by another manufacturer. I always have my used Stiletto hammer in my box as a back up so I used that to get buy, until I bought another Dalluge. Wen I bought my second Dalluge, I opted for the 14oz with Axe handle and found that it actually worked better for me. If you are a Big Strong Man, don't fool around, get the 16oz with Axe handle. Get the Axe handle, it balances the strike better than a straight handle.

(A must for every Bundy fan!) 『Memorable episodes in this package are "Raingirl",which premiered on Fox on April 29,1990 and "Who'll Stop The Rain?" which premiered nearly four months earlier on January 7,1990. These episodes are from Married...With Children's fourth season and I saw them both when they first aired. In "Raingirl",Kelly Bundy(Christina Applegate),takes a job on a TV news program as a "weather bunny". Her superiors realize how dyslexic Kelly is. Instead of saying "storm",she says "strom". Also she pronounces "Chicago" "chick ago". She was under contract for three years with an annual salary of $250,000 but her contract was revoked shortly after taking the job. Kelly's brother Bud(David Faustino) conducts a tour of the Bundy home(the tourists are Bud's high school buddies) and the buddies wave to Bud's and Kelly's mother Peggy(Katey Sagal) but not their father Al(Ed O'Neill). Kelly could have been making more money then Al as a shoe store manager. In "Who'll Stop The Rain?",Al goes to war against the Bundys' roof to plug up a hole and fix the television antenna atop it. Al,in his "moron on the roof suit",as Peggy calls it,falls off the Bundys roof,landing in the backyard. In another scene,Al and Peggy are in their bed and Al has a frying pan over his head to catch the dripping rainwater falling through the hole in the roof. After many pleas to call a profesional plumber,Al does no such thing. That's why he went up on the roof himself. This episode was also one of David Garrison's last. In this same episode,Garrison as former accountant Steve Rhoades,brings a gerbil from a pet store he now works at to the Bundy household. The female,poisonous creature attacked his wife Marcy(Amanda Bearse) after Steve placed her on Marcy's back. Steve told Marcy that the creature,that he thought was male and non-poisionous was just playing. Marcy ended up with a large lump on her back. After Garrison departed from the series in late 1989,it was written that Steve and Marcy got divorced and Steve became a forest ranger. But Marcy re-married a short time later. Long Branch,New Jersey-born Garrison returned to New York City to do a broadway show(he commuted from NYC to California to do MWC). He was later succeeded by Ted McGinley,late of Happy Days,who would play playboy Jefferson D'Arcy,who'd become Marcy's second husband and stick with her through the 1997 cancellation. The other episodes are awesome! This item is a must for every MWC fan.』
(Even Some More Things...) 『It has been some time since this was released, and Seasons 1-3 are now out on DVD (Season Three having a busted theme song), but there are still points to make on this product.
Not necessarily a "bad" DVD per se, this (and Volume One) was intended to gauge customer response. If response was great, more DVDs (and season sets) were to follow. I guess we can safely say that response was DAMN great! Aside from picture quality issues (I'm not gonna say it's great, I ain't gonna say it ain't), the subsequent season sets were quite great!

I've owned the VHS version for 5 years. It is now available on DVD. Basic tap steps are explained and demonstrated clearly in a dance studio class setting. The teacher demonstrates the steps and the students then practice with the music. You and your little dancer will want to join them. Our six-year-old wanted to use the video to practice even before doing homework. The songs help maintain interest and make the steps easy to learn, remember and practice. One warning-- you will find the tunes rattling around in your head after a few practice sessions.
A child can easily use this video to develop a strong foundation for future dance class experiences. We use the video to reinforce and build on what is being taught in a once a week tap class. Our six-year-old practiced with the tape just three or four times before her first tap class yet she had picked up enough for her teacher to ask if she had taken lessons before.
I've sat through many dance classes with two little girls and know how difficult it is for a nondancing adult to help a young child practice at home. Young children often find it difficult to remember what was taught in class and cannot practice alone. This tape helps bridge the gap.
I have not been able to find the Sweet Taps cd or audio cassette, but would love to have it. I also purchased the Dancing for Kids DVD with Rosemary Borass. The Tot Tap class uses the same music featured so prominently in Land of Sweet Taps. The basic steps are taught but the combinations are simplified for working with younger children. For beginning tappers, Land of Sweet Taps is more comprehensive and older children will find it more challenging. Younger children will be able to grow into Sweet Taps. A good buy.』

She was extremely disappointed, and she hardly ever played with it again after the first day. She thought this doll was at least going to DO something, but it doesn't. It has a tube that goes through from its mouth to it's bottom so it can "pee" like the dolls that would do this in the 70s, but other than that, it doesn't really have any features to speak of. It's just an ordinary "Betsy Wetsy" type doll with some accessories.
It's ok as far as an average doll goes, but don't buy it because of the "Baby Alive" name, because it's most definitely NOT a Baby Alive.』

Just finished reading Sweet Revenge. I don't know how I mised this book because it was written 1989-90.
It is so good. Written with a middle eastern background that is so current today. It is deep and involved but with the redeeming value of love and loyalty, as always in Nora Roberts books.
She has a way of making families out of non-related peoples when there is no blood-to-blood relationship. Love her intricate characters and plot turns.
This is fabulous and holds your attention from beginning to end.

I doubt she has actually visited any Muslim country to begin with. i used to love her books but after reading this one I can't bear to pick up another one of her books.』
(propaganda against Islam) 『Before reading this book,nora roberts was one of my fav writers,not anymore.I never thought anybody could use a romantic fiction novel to badmouth Islam.i wish i could list the absolutely wrong things that she has written about Muslims,but i m afraid the list is too long.All that i want to say is that i have been utterly disgusted by this novel,and am amazed that somebody christian with good faith n values,as i suppose she is,could insult any religion like that..when iam sure all she knows is stories she overheard from here n there,n has no first hand knowledge or experience in this regard .I just hope that authors like her dont endup polluting the minds n thinking of simple innocent people,and im sure like me,alot of people after reading this novel,would never read any of Nora Roberts'novels again.I pray to God to give her n all other people like her the wisdom to see the truth.』
