Don't waste your money on anything from Dirt Devil, Royal, or Hoover. After less than two years, the rubber gasket that seals the dirt cup with the motor housing has disintegrated; making this unit worthless (no suction).

According to the Dirt Devil company... this part is unavailable at any price; even though this is a current model!!!

Not to mention it did not work all that well even when new.

We recently replaced hardwood floors in our house with exotic hardwood and haven't been able to figure out the best way to keep them clean. This was a perfect idea. The dust, hair, and dirt get sucked in by the vacuum part as you collect with the broom. So far so good! We are planning to buy more as gifts :)

I use this to clean crumbs around my computer keyboard and desktop. I chose it because the black and silver color matches my computer:) The suction is strong compared to older dustbusters I've used; I am very impressed. I like the extending wand built into the front. I still don't know what that slide switch is on the side, maybe I should read the instructions?
I already had one. This is the second one for my husband's office. I like it because it's very powerful especially it helps me get rid of the dust and hair on the floor and table. The battery is longlasting after fully charge. My husband hates to use the regular vacuum as long as he is willing to use it. i would be happy. The downside is that it's pretty heavy and noisy.
I really like this Dust Buster. It has great suction, and is a must with small children. Since I've purchased it I've used it multiple times per day. Sure beats taking out an upright vacuum every time you have crumbs to clean! I chose this model because it has far more power than the lower models, and it's been worth every penny.
I have 2 dogs (that shed like crazy) and am always either too busy or too tired to clean when I am home. I got this Dustbuster in an attempt to live in a less furry apartment given that I have wood floors. The regular vacuum is too much of hassle to get out for everything and I am hardly ever motivated to sweep + mop. This product is AMAZING for sucking up dog hair, dust, etc. Definitely ranks as my new favorite toy. I bought it Target and have had none of the quality problems that the other reviewers did. The only issue I had was one of the anchors bent (thus was unusable) as I was mounting it on the wall - but that was mostly my own dumb mistake&the base has managed to stay up anyhow. Great product - highly recommended for anyone that does not have time/energy/desire to spend hours cleaning!
This is GREAT! I got it on sale and I didn't even realize it had the extra attachments. It sucks everything in it's path, the filter 'declogger' works good - when you need it, I've used the extender, but only to reach tight spots, otherwise it sucks so good you don't need it. The filter was easy to clean, I tossed it in the dishwasher (because my husband cleaned up a bunch of spilled granulated garlic and I figured if it got ruined I was going to have to replace it anyway). I'm very happy and can't wait for another sale so I can get a second for the upstairs!

We purchased this hand-held to pick up dog fur and also to get dust off of our dogs fur. The suction is definitely not up to par. I'd compare the suction to one of those inexpensive,unknown name brand vac's you buy at K-mart or some other retailer for 19.95 or less. For a small hand held it is extremely loud and does heat up quickly. This machine is overpriced and I expected much better from Black&Decker. I would definitely shop around for a higher quality hand-held and only buy this unit if it is a last resort. It failed miserably when used to suck up dog fur from a futon mattress, a leather recliner chair. By the way, this unit absolutely will not pick up dust from a computer/keyboard, nor should it be used as such (i.e. as a data vac).
We are very pleased with this vacuum. It has great suction and picks up hair and crumbs very well. It also comes with a long cord so you can plug it in and reach a long area. I recommend this hand vacuum.
Great suction! Easy to use, long cord, and big enough space to use repeatedly without having to dispose the filter too often for someone who hates doing really disgusting things like that. In fact, I've had it for over a month and still have not emptied out the vacuum. I like the vacuum cleaner-it was a good deal.
BLACK 7 DECKER HV9010P pet series cyclonic-action corded dustbuster&blower, is the pet hair retriever I have ever had. I have two long haired cats, that shed 365 days of the year. I've slways had pets,cats&dogs(most with long hair) I've tryed just about everything! This is the best. The best way I found is to put a strap on it, so you can put it on your shoulder when using the hose. (I used a shoulder strap from a piece of luggage, works great! Its stronger then my hoover,&does a much better job,&its a great price.
I have owned two cordless Black&Decker vacuums... I have never been very happy with them so I decided on the corded model to clean up around the litter box. HA! The clever little rotating brush attachement froze up almost at once. Any small piece of dirt/litter jams it and it's useless.
While the vac has more power than the cordless models I am, once again, UNDERWHELMED. The item is cheap, dirty and difficult to clean. The attachment hose and brush are a flimsy joke. I'm going to order another Eureka Optima for my downstairs pet area.

I use this with a 3/4 HP Porter Cable AP300 Dust Collector.
That model of dust collector is rated at 500 CFM, which is used
with a trash can lid collector.

Most of the time, I work with red oak, white oak, and occasionally
hard maple. With those species, it usually works ok.
This weekend I used this with 300 bd ft of black walnut.
Some boards would plane just fine. Half the boards were 9
or 10 inches wide and would make these long thin curly
shavings that would plug this dust collector every pass,
even if I was removing 1/32 of an inch. I am not sure
whether the problem was with the dust collector, or with
this dust connector. The shavings would plug right at the
entry to this device. I suspect that this device was the
problem.

I really wish they had some sort of quick clamp to attach
this device to the planer. I would like to attach or remove
it in ten seconds instead of two or three minutes. When it
is working, you dont need to remove it. But when it does
not work, opening it to clear out those shavings is a bit
of a pain.

This device does hang down slightly into the outfeed path
by about 1/8 of an inch. So, each time a wider board comes
out of the machine, it bumps on this device. This device
does not attach extremely firmly. It sort of floats a bit
on the output, so this is not a big problem, but the float
means that we loose suction, and it makes it seem cheap.

Overall, it usually works. But this weekend, my setup did
not work. I think that this item was the problem, but it
just might have been insufficient CFM on the dust collector.

I'm surprised that so many reviewers think this is a good accessory. It's absolutely necessary, and every Delta planer owner needs one.... but it's a poor design. Boards hit it on the outfeed. You also can't lower the head all the way if you need to plane really thin stock - instrument makers beware! The other problem is that a standard 4" slip fit connector doesn't stay on well. This is only a problem if you move your dust collector hose from machine to machine. But, a lot of folks do that, and it's just absurd that this chute isn't correctly sized to fit well.

Finally, it's annoying that the dust chute isn't included with the machine. It's not really optional - you have to extract the chips from a planer, or the machine's rollers press the chips into the nicely planed surface of the wood.

I like the planer pretty well, and this thing is necessary.. but poorly executed.
Don't even think about buying the planer without the dust collector attachment! Without it you will have chips all over the floor and fine dust in the air. I hook up my planer to a 1 HP floor model dust collector and it works great with a 3" hose. I really doubt if it will work with a shop vac. The attachment is easy to mount and remove. You can't fold up the outfeed table with the attachment in place, but that's no big deal.
Pretty straight forward. It works. Not sure if you can realy go wrong on this one if you have the planner if fits, it works.
I am very pleased with this dust chute. It does what it is supposed to do and I haven't had any problem with it clogging. I do recommend it to anyone who has the Delta 22-580 2 speed finish plainer and a dust collector to hook it to. I am a professional contractor and it works great for the work I do (I also custom build cabinets).

I love this dryer. I can't believe the power this little dude has. I dried my full dressed touring bike in about 15 minutes. The warm air not only blew the water off, but dried it too, leaving almost no water marks.

So in other words, you won't have to wipe off your bike. If you're particular like me about a clean bike you might still take a towel and dab what little water is left, but there won't be much. You'll be happy!!
This product doesn't work nearly as well as it was advertised! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Great for sports cars. Use it along with a waffle weave towel. It gets water out of the areas like under the air spoiler, the mirrors, the door handles, and especially the tire rims. Blow the water out of these areas water drips from to prevent water marks. The long nozzle is rubber, so if you bump the car it will not leave a scratch.

It uses warm air and has like a mesh filter on bottom. A leaf blower stirs up too much dust that gets on your car and cannot be handled along with a towel like this product.

Used it 4 times to wash the car since I bought it, and would buy it again for sure.

This dryer is solidly built and delivers what it promises, even with its relatively low horsepower. It's easy to use and dries my 750 cc motorcycle in about 10 minutes. It sure beats having to use rags. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product.

These are so much easier to clean up than the combination filter (foam / paper) that are supposedly usable for wet and dry pick up. I used my ShopVac to empty a algae clogged man made pond earlier this season. The algae was simple and fast to rinse out of the foam filter sleeve. It would have been a major task with the other filter. The Shopvac 905-85-1 Foam Filter Sleeves are less expensive than the other filters. When they get too gross or filthy, just toss and replace it.

I think these foam filters are the better choice for wet pick up uses and I'm happy with this purchase.

Bought it as a backup so I actually never used it, but the one already in my hand vac works perfectly fine.
I, too, purchased replacement filters at a lower price at Eureka web sight. Look at TOTAL COST DELIVERED to your door. Things change so get a current delivered price. BTW, well made item. Best you check it out...............
I love my 71a vac, but this replacement filter is available for less directly from the manufacturer's site (even when their high S&H fees are taken into account).
