It worked fairly well although we did not like the red scuffs it left on the woodwork nor the way the head would flip over. Then the head completely broke off the body and was irrepairable. It was only used perhaps 2x a week - my previous stick vac had lasted 10 years before it broke. Is it just me or should an appliance last beyond the warranty period?』
(Great for my 1 bedroom apt) 『I used to use a robot vacuum, which became a burden once I fiancee was around all the time. The reasoning is because she has long hair which the weak motor of the robot vacuum could not handle very well, hence I had to clean it after every time i used it. This Hoover is the perfect replacement. I've been using it for 2 months now, about once a week. No complaints. Love it.』
(DOES THE JOB!!!!!) 『I got the Hoover S2220 to clean my kitchen floor and bathrooms. None are carpeted and this vacuum does the job. I did not purchase the vacuum for carpeting just for bare floors. It works great and I can't believe how much dirt is in the filter system after doing the floors. It would be PERFECT except for the short cord. That is why it got a 4 star rating by me. I would buy it again because it does a fantastic job.』
(I oughta know, Ive had 3 of them now...) 『I was thrilled beyond get-out when I got my first Flair. It IS a good vacuum for bare floors of any kind and at first, it works even on small area&throw rugs. I dont mind cleaning out the cup and hubby blows out the filter with the air compressor hose in the garage. It DOES fall over easily and the cord isnt long.
However, on each of my Flairs, although I have only used it for area rugs (I have a regular vacuum for the few carpeted rooms I have) the belts blow out for the "carpet" setting (beater bar moving setting). The belts were difficult to find and it took FOREVER for them to arrive. Hubby was able to easily replace them but they sure don't last. The bar gets clogged easily with long hairs (my daughter&I both have long hair) and I would often need to cut it out with scissors. I love how it goes quite a ways under cabinets, bookcases, and even my couch!
However, it has fallen over so many times that the little latch to hold the cup in the vacuum has snapped off&I now have to use packing tape to keep it in. Its time to move on to something with newer technology!』
(LOVE LOVE LOVE) 『I was looking for a small vaccum for my wood floors and this one just fits the bill. It has a lot a power for a small lightweight vac with additional power for my small carpets. I just love it. Vcook』 『Streamlined solution cleans without the clutter. Lightweight design. Quick cord release. 20' power cord with wrap hooks. Safe for use on all types of floors. Easy to maneuver. The only thing I have against this iron is that if you use a lot of steam (which I love and use a lot), you need to refill the tank more often. Everything else is wonderful about this Rowenta iron. I always knew Rowenta was the best (this one is made in Germany) but I didn't know it was going to be THIS great. It doesn't spit out water (which I had read on some reviews), it is heavy but not too heavy and it irons everything very smoothly and quickly. My husband's shirts haven't looked like this in a long time! I am very happy with this iron and recommend for anyone!』
(Best iron I've had) 『It glides over the fabric with ease. It's probably cut my ironing time in half. I would certainly buy it again.』
(No longer works after 13 months) 『After reading all of the great reviews, we purchased this iron to replace our old duct taped version. It was great until it stopped working 13 months later. Of course, Rowenta would do nothing about it since it was outside of the 12 month window. I'd rather buy the cheap versions if I'm going to have to replace it every year and a half. This was absolutely not worth the money.』
(Very disappointed!) 『My old Rowenta was a solid workhorse. Unfortunately the plug cracked and I have not found someone to replace it. I figured since I had a great experience with my first Rowenta I would purchase another. From the very first use, I was not happy. It heats up too hot and melted the blouse I wanted to iron. If it isnt set at the minimal low setting to get steam it sticks on the clothes and before you know it you have melted material. I think the only material it has not messed up is jeans. I should have returned this iron after the first use, but my busy husband tossed the box and receipts the day I got it and of course it was trash pick up day. I will now look for another brand of iron to replace this one. I do prefer one that heats up fast and has great steam but to ruin clothes as much as this one did they lost me as a customer. Think very thoroughly if you have delicate clothes to iron and are entertaining the thought to purchase this one. Along with the receipt for the iron I wish I had the receipts for the clothes ruined and I would have sent the package to Rowenta for a refund.』
(Rowenta Focus Iron) 『The Rowenta Focus Iron is the best Rowenta Iron I have ever purchased. It takes the wrinkles out of my cotton clothes with one pass. But this group is unique in its sound. Genesis would never have made music quite like this. Their sound is quite unique - nothing like any of the other progressive rock groups now making music. I can't wait until they put out more music.』
(Awesome in the spirit of Genesis) 『I like the approach of this neo prog group. They remind me a lot of IQ. They emulate their idols (Genesis) in a great way without being copycats in my opinion. This is the best music I have heard since the first time I heard Opeth.』
(Supper is ready!) 『a really great suprise from Italy. By the time ive finished this cd, ill own them all! Great stuff here.If your a Genesis fan or Fish,Marillion, I suggest that you purchase immediatley!』
(I could become a Watcher of these guys.....) 『For those of us who had the unique privilege of hearing early Genesis back in the 70's over our favorite FM station or on our dad's first stereo system in the living room, I think we sometimes tend to take for granted just how talented, progressive and entertaining that band was. So then we turn our noses up when a band that is clearly derivative of Genesis shows up with a new cd in their classic style? I think that can be a mistake, especially with a band like The Watch that certainly has an updated (tho retro) early Genesis style, and composes some very unique melodies with storied lyrics. Sorry folks, but their 2004 release "Vacuum" is a guilty pleasure for me, with excellent vocals (very integral to this band's music) and melodic hooks, along with crystal clear production. Although the band is Italian, Simone Rossetti's Gabriel-esqe vocals are very British sounding. Special note: drummer Roberto Leoni is an exceptional talent. (Great cymbal work.) My only minor complaint is that there are only 48 minutes of music here. So here's what you do when you try a "clone" band like this: you kind of have to close your eyes and imagine yourself lying on your bunk with your Pioneer headphones on, and listening to the album that could have come out right after "The Lamb". Good shtuff. Treat yourself.
I value interesting music that is played and recorded well. This cd's rating was based on: Music quality = 8.8/10; Performance = 8.5/10; Production = 9.5/10; CD length = 7/10. Overall score weighted on my proprietary scale = 8.6 ("4 stars") 』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (I love Chrome but...) 『I just can't get into Helios's solo albums. I got this one being excited about this release because I loved the latest Chrome album Ghost Machine(see my review for that album) But I just find this album to be boring and at times annoying. The first track on here is simply titled Intro which seems cool for it's experimental value but it goes on a little too long(3 and a half minutes to be exact). Then we get into Beginning Of Light which might be the best on here but it's nothing special. The guitar work is cool and the rhythems are interesting but it's just Helios repeating the line Beginning Of Light over and over again in an echo effect. Got To Have Someone is just dead. It's lifeless and the vocals are ear screaching bad. Sandbox Jungle is a song I couldn't believe what I heard. It sounds just like a Wolfmother song. Even the lead singer sounds like the guy from Wolfmother. Fields Of Green is a decent song. Great drum beat and good rhythem and lead guitars. Probably the most Chrome sounding song on this album and the only other one I can listen to. Help me Bitch is just awful. It's just noise and more ear screeching vocals. The comes the Velvet Underground cover. I've never liked VU anyway so that for me is reason enough to skip this song and the cover itself like most of the album is very boring. Another Dimension is pretty catchy and one I can sit through. This one sounds like a psychadelic/space rock song similar to Hawkwind. Tell me your name is just a short 50 second song that has a female singing on it that is pointless. I haven't heard much of the rest of this album. I just can't bring myself to listen to it. It's either too boring or too painful. Helios is about to go on tour and I was planing on seeing him in Houston. I sure hope he plays some Chrome songs because his solo stuff just doesen't cut it for me and I have 5 or 6 of his solo albums. Some people might like this but I have tried and tried and I just can't get into it. any of the classic Chrome albums from Alien Soundtracks up to 3rd From The Sun are masterpieces to me along with 2002's Ghost Machine(again see my review) For his solo stuff it just seems like there is something missing.』
(Psychedelic Mayhem) 『This is by far the best Helios Creed album ever! The intro (Deep Blue Love Vaccum) sets the mood building up to launch into the riff of the next track "Beginning Of Light" equipped with warped vocals and swirling guitars. Fabienne Shine (from Chrome back in the day) does an awesome song called "Sandbox Jungle" the riff is very Black Sabbath esque. She also sings vocals on the cover of the Velvet Underground's "All Tomorrow's Parties." One of Helios darkset prophecy songs to date "2012." One of the best tracks is a fun song about our retarded leader called "Cowboy." Over an hour long this is one of the best records to come out in a long time.』 『Legendary psych guitar wizard HELIOS CREED returns with what many of his loyal fans are considering his BEST solo effort ever, with "Deep Blue Love Vacuum." On this album he teams up with fellow ex-members of seminal band CHROME to create over 70 minutes of interplanetary, reality bending sounds to carry the listener to another plane. Helios is back on the road as well. This is his first release on Noiseville Records.』

This fits the bill as an upright and performs well. The vacuum hose is so short that it's a joke. I tried to use the attachments once and its a waste of time. In addition, dirt was exhausted from the storage port for the hose. Unbelieveable! The handle is nothing but a cheap piece of molded plastic. The electical cord is attached to the middle of the machine, as is the on/off switch. This results in a lot of stooping to turn the cleaner on or off and you must hold the cord, else you will step on it. The vacuum has 3 filters, two of which can be cleaned with soap and water. After a month the HEPA filter shows no accumulation and will not need replacement for a long time. The filtering system is efficient - there is no evidence that any dirt is returned to the room. Since everything that is sucked up is visible frequent emptying and filter cleaned is encouraged. A good thing. Bottom line --- works well as an upright. A decent value for the money.』
(Returning vacuum) 『The tip of the philips screw was broken off before it was packaged in celophane and sealed. The crevice tool was not included and neither was the extension tool. Vacuum had good suction. It is lightweight. I found the handle uncomfortable to hold and the standing height of the machine uncomfortably short. I am 5'5" so not sure how someone taller would use. I have some arthritis in my hand which is usually not a problem in performing tasks. However this handle left my hand hurting after very brief use. Overall I was disappointed given the many reviews praising machine and thought the quality lower than my previous Hoovers. Returned item and will not purchase brand again.』
(THIS VACUUM SUCKS !!!!! REALLY SUCKS ALL THE DIRT AND DUST !!!!!) 『Great vacuum sucks everything in its way. I have three times more expensive vacuum for my first floor and I bought this much cheaper vacuum for my second floor, and to be honest with you I find no difference in sucking power both of them are 12 amp., almost same weight and same noise level. I am happy I purchased Bissell hopefully it last atleast couple of years.』
(good for the price) 『The pluses are the price is right, it's lightweight, and easy to assemble. The suction is OK, but not the best I've seen in a vacuum. Its very easy to empty. It seems better at picking up lightweight items like hair and dust. It seems to have trouble picking up heavy things like coins and nails. If the suction was stronger I would have given it 5 stars. This is my first bagless unit and I'm mostly pleased as it was the least expensive unit available.』
(Great vacuum for the money) 『My wife and I have both used this vacuum and have no complaints. It's light weight, manuverable, and easy to use. The hose and attachments work well, are easy to use, and stay put. It's very easy to clean and put back together. It's very quiet and we can vacuum our entire house without emptying it, there's also no loss of suction. This is our first bagless vacuum. We are still not used to cleaning it after each time we use it. If you compare its performance to a bagless, we can get used to this very minor inconvenience.』 『New Helix separation system filters dirt and debris and protects the motor and fan. I noticed a damp basement / old person smell in our front loading clothes washer. Affresh sounded like a great product to take that lovely smell away. The instructions are pretty simple, toss one tablet in an empty washer, and run a normal cycle with hot water setting. If the smell isn't gone, or the washer is has mold or mildew, repeat two more times.
The results are mixed. The first tablet made the washer smell a bit better, but those old folks were still in there. Since I had my head in the washer smelling around, I decided to study the rubber door seal. Oh, I found the culprit, a big beautiful old colony of black mold growing on the seal.
So a toothbrush, some other chemicals, and another tablet later; the old folks were mostly evicted. I'm guessing that third tablet might lower the smell level a bit. However, I've decided to call in the professionals, or some DIY, and replace the door seal. Until you remove those old black mold / mildew folks, their smell will remain.
I think this is a good product. The tablets do smell very nice - a subtle clean odor, not perfumy. If your washer has a mold build up in a door seal, then it will likely not fix that problem. The old folks will not move out to the retirement community because of these tablets.
I am excited to try the dishwasher / garbage disposal product, Whirlpool W10282479 Affresh Dishwasher and Disposal Cleaner.』
(Best cleaner yet) 『I have had a problem with my HE washer and a horrible odor coming from it for awhile. I have tried everything possible to get rid of it. I saw this on Amazon and thought, will give it try, it may work and it may not. Well, first time I had to run my clothes washer through twice each time using one of the tablets and it smelled amazing after the second time. Three hours afterwards it still smelled clean. Two days later, it still smells wonderful. I highly recommend this product if you are having that persistant odor in your HE washer. 』
(Slight help) 『This product was recommended by our washer/dryer repair rep due to assist in the moldy/milder odor from our washer. I have a top loader that is only a few years old and after attempting to clean the interior my clothes still had a faint smell of mold/mildew. I probably would have never realized this if I didn't have to switch to fragrance free detergents due to allergies in my household. I tried Affresh and more than one occasion and it did seem to help refresh the wash for a cycle or two, but didn't assist in cleaning the interior. I now attempt to clean the interior after each use with a rag and clothes detergent to help minimize the mold/mildew and odor and I am debating on purchasing another washer.』
(Works As Advertised) 『I've had an LG Tromm washer for 2 years and it progressively smelled worse and worse. It had just about reached the point of me buying a new washer until I used the Affresh. I followed the directions, 3 cleaning cycles in a row with the Affresh and now my clothes smell clean after I wash them. It makes my $1400 washer not seem like such a bad investment anymore. This product is a must for any owner of a Tromm front-loader.』

We bought the Bissell Quicksteamer Multisurface 2090 a year or so ago because several sources had given it a good rating. They were wrong! It did just an average job on both carpets and hard surfaces (tile floors). More disappointing was the quality of workmanship. We only used it occassionally, and tried to follow all instructions, however it literally fell apart while my wife was using it. The various plastic clips, attachements, etc. would regularly come off while in use. Even though it only received light usage, the motor got hot enough to melt the plastic motor mounts rendering the front rotating brush useless. Eventually, the motor literally went up in smoke. It is sitting at the curb as we speak waiting for the trash men to pick it up in the morning.』
(It works) 『This Bissell works well and is lightweight enough to be easy to maneuver on various surfaces. Very efficient water extraction, carpets and rugs are quasi-dry after cleaning. This carpet cleaner is slightly cumbersome to clean after having used it, but it's a minor inconvenience. All in all a good device.』
(Good Carpet Cleaner for the Money) 『This is a very adequate carpet cleaner for the money. It is definitely not a steam cleaner, as it only uses hot water with soap in the reservoir which is sprayed on the carpet, but it was easy to put together, easy to figure out how to use and cleaned my carpets as well as I hoped it would. In fact, I was surprised how much dirt it picked up, which was evident when I dumped the used water out. My husband even used it to clean the carpet in our bass boat and felt it did a good job.』
(Kudos to Bissell, Thanx boys and girls!) 『I've had this Quicksteamer Powerbrush unit since the model 2050 several years ago, so this is a refined product--and it was great! The 2090 adds hard floors cleaning to the really good carpet cleaning ability of the 2080. The suction is great. Just vacuum first to keep pet hair and lint from clogging the unit. The lightness and manageablility of the Quicksteamer products is outstanding and a VERY GREAT relief if you have tried to lift the massively heavier Hoover models and "Pro-Heat" Bissell units. This is the one to get. You won't regret it. You can wash out the floor nozzel outside your house with the garden hose if it becomes clogged.
If you use your hottest tap water you won't be needing the other HEAVY heating element nonsense--in fact, you may want test your stains first with tepid water so as not to set some of them. After that you can safely move to hot tap water.』

My little girl can also use it and feel like a helper, while matching her little pink kitchen! Others have commented on the opening not being large enough, it being too loud, and the air blowing things around...I didnt find any of these a problem. Dont try to suck up your laundry and you'll be fine!』
(The cone) 『This is the worst product. Use it once and donate to charity. It stinks. Save your money.』
(Nice handheld for small jobs) 『I got this vacuum to deal with my kitty litter kickers. Does a nice job on that. My only complaint is that I have to pull cat fur off the filter. After a few uses I can see that the filter will need to be replaced often. Certainly will not replace a full sized upright but perfect for small jobs and getting into nooks and crannies easily.』
(HANDY TOOL) 『I LOVE THIS I USE IT FOR EVERY THING I EVEN CLEAN MY CAR WITH IT』 『Do you get tired of emptying your closet for your hand vacuum just so people won't see the eyesore lying around? Well, thanks to Dirt Devil you can reclaim your dignity. Dirt Devil had famed product designer Karim Rashid create the KONE, a cordless hand vac unlike any you've seen. It is an elegant, sculptural form that can be left on display - on your table, shelf, or counter. That way, your hand vac will always be charged and ready for use. No more searching a closet only to find an unplugged unit. The top of this sleek, sculptural piece is the handle of the hidden vacuum; it easily twists off the plug-in charging base. There are never any bags to replace; instead, Kone has a permanent, washable bin. The tip is rubberized for close cleaning without scratching surfaces. The power cord is hidden on a wrap under the 8" diameter base. Who is Karim Rashid? He is a leading figure in the fields of product, interior, fashion, furniture, and lighting design. He is best known for bringing his democratic design sensibility public use. Designing for an impressive array of clients from Alessi to Georg Jensen, Umbra to Prada, Miyake to Method, Karim is radically changing the aesthetics of product design and the very nature of the consumer culture. I fit a huge number of clothes, two comforters and several pillows in the trunk of my car easily because of the space bags! Some of them puffed up a little (one puffed up a lot) so I don't know how great they would be for storage. Also, I read a lot of reviews that said they tore or broke so I was careful and gentle with them and had no such problems.』
(Do NOT buy these!!!) 『My Space Bags came in yesterday. I couldn't wait to try them. The first one amazed me with how flat it became. However, the next two I tried doing both ripped!!!!! Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (some of the finest coffee in the world) 『Celebes(aka Sulawesi)coffee is some of the richest coffee in the world, equalled maybe by the coffees from Yemen, Ethiopia, and Kenya. If you like those coffees, you'll love this.』
(good, but not dark enough roast) 『Ever since Starbucks stopped stocking it's Sulawesi coffee, I've been looking for another supplier. Joe's roast is lighter than Starbucks, and also a bit more acidic. I like a roast where the oils just start to show on the surface of the bean.』
(Comfort food! (or beverage).) 『Celebes Kalossi Coffee is one of the best coffees that I have found. It is mild yet very flavorful with low acidity so its not as hard on the stomach as some coffees. Definately worth a try (and another, and another).』 『Celebes Kalossi (modern day Sulawesi) is grown at very high altitudes in the Toraja region. A 300 year history of coffee cultivation and production produce an intensely rich coffee with low acidity and a deep complex aroma.』
『Kenya's reputation as a top quality coffee producer is unsurpassed. This meticously prepared East African coffee is famous for its rich full body, strong pleasant acidity, floral fragrant aroma and a winey aftertaste with overtones of berries and citrus』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A gift turned tradition) 『I received a 8.8 oz package of Kimbo Gold Medal roast as a present this February. A coffee snob, in which Starbucks is not the top rated brand in my book, I was reluctant to try Kimbo on a full Sunday morning brew.
However, I was surprised to find the finely ground beans espresso-worthy, and the bold smell immediately inviting. After a sip of the coffee, I was overwhelmed by the rich, fine, almost 'homegrown' taste. I am sorry that I cannot find this coffee in local stores, but I will invest in the company and its imports directly to my front door.
This coffee is commendable, and words do not do it justice. It is the perfect purchase for those who are looking to enjoy a weekend morning brew, those who are looking for a gift that will impress the coffee drinker who has 'tried everything,' or the many who cannot travel to Europe to drink a fine cup and experience chills from such wonderful, honest taste.』
(The real thing from Napels!) 『I have tried many espresso brands and grounds but none beat this one. Kimbo Gold is genuine espresso from Napels, famed for its incomparable coffee, and uses only the best Brazillian coffee beans. Its taste can be best described as potent with a real kick, but without any bitterness, and with a deep yet clear espresso flavour. I prefer it to some of the better known premium brands, such as the otherwise excellent Illy caffe. Its flavour is much richer and isn't even lost in a capuccino or latte - the milk if anything seems to bring out the flavour even more. I highly recommend this espresso to anyone who is looking for the real thing.』 『A blend of the finest coffees from Brazil and Central America, carefully selected and expertly blended and roasted in a special way to strike a perfect balance between rich aroma and full flavor.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Don't buy this!! Junk.) 『We purchased this for our son for Christmas. This lasted about a month before breaking. It is cheaply built and is pretty much, a piece of junk. I was very disappointed as we paid a little more in order for my son to have a match to our real Dyson. He loves "vacuuming" when I am. Be smart and buy something else!!』
(Junk, junk, junk) 『It arrived in the mail today, and by the night I still can't figure out how to work the thing. So much for the 3-year-old being able to do that... It rides terribly on most surfaces and gets caught due to a poor design on the head. The plastic is very cheap, and the hose look like it'd break very quickly. The battery door is hard to open, and the screw nearly stripped. My normal screwdriver barely worked. I guess they expect you to have fancy tools to do this? I see no evidence of the choking hazards listed on the box, which worries me because perhaps parts might fall off and I wouldn't know before the baby finds them? The on button is not the easiest to work, and it's too loud on high! I worry about hearing loss with this product. It's not clear where to put the on board tools. The instructions as well are very, very poor. Dyson should be ashamed of this. Owning this makes me sure I don't think I ever want a real Dyson. This vacuum is plenty cute, as in you could put it in a museum and it'd make a great display. But to play with it? I don't think it will last, and it was [...]! The simple toy Dirt Devil upright is much better, and about [...]I think. This product made me have one of those "I can't believe I spent good money on total junk" kind of days. Sigh.』 『The hottest vacuum cleaner to date from the Dyson stable, the Casdon version features imitation vortex and working vacuum action, tools on board and detachable wand. The real vacuum action can pick up poly foam beads or small bits of paper, just don't expect real vacuum cleaning power!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (8 inch tube is too short) 『my son has a bug wand with two 10 inch tubes and is able to reach the ceiling where 99% of spiders are found. If I new that your BugBuster only had an 8 inch tube, I would not have purchased it. I think you should let it be known that it only has an 8 inch tube, and is too short to reach the ceiling. Frank Cognato』
(Does not work!) 『First let me tell you...this thing is only about 1 foot long so you will still be very close to the bug. Second you can put this directly on top of a small mosquito and it will not suck it up the tube. Third if you manage to trap the bug you have to invert this while trying to keep the bug inside (the suction does not work at all) and then put on the lid with your hands, in the mean time the bug is running back out. Big waste of money...use your vacuum instead if you are afraid of the bug.』
(Disappointed) 『My daughter rushed out of her bedroom because of a spider. This was my first opportunity to use my new BugBuster - and it didn't work. With it completely surrounding the spider, flush against the ceiling, the spider just hung on - when I pulled back from the ceiling, the spider dropped to the floor onto the carpet. Again I surrounded it, but it did not get sucked up into tube. So I just mashed it with the tube - which I could have done with my shoe. I'm glad my first opportunity to use it wasn't against a wasp - it might not have turned out as well.』
(Works good) 『It's not real powerful BUT it does the job. It's a little more difficult to get a spider in a corner but I just keep it running and nudge it a little bit and the spider gets sucked in. Then I keep it running until I get the cap on. I take it outside knock the plastic tube against the steps to knock the bug back down, take off the cap and hit it to knock the bug back out. It's fine. I have used it for over a year. I bought two more as gifts.』
(Takes luck and patience to capture bug) 『If you have a lot of time and patience to wait for the bug to crawl into the tube then this product is for you. It has absolutely no suction. I couldn't even get a small moth to go into the tube. Basically, you could place a glass or jar over the insect, wait for it to crawl or fly in, slide a piece of cardboard over the top and carry the insect outside and release it - and this method is free! Don't waste your money on this product!!!』 『Handle Bugs With Care -- The BugBuster will safely catch wasps, bees, flies, spiders, and other crawling bugs without you touching or damaging the insect! Simply place the plastic tube to within one inch of the insect, press button to start the BugBuster motor, and the bug should be sucked up at great speed! -- After you have captured your target, turn the BugBuster upright and replace the cover at the end of the tube. Transport the bug as necessary or observe the little creature on the spot. When you are ready to let the bug go, just remove the cap to set it free. Invert the tube near the ground for the crawling insects or release at arm's length for the flying ones! -- The BugBuster is especially helpful for the occasional bee or wasp, making it easy to capture. It keeps the insects safe and keeps you out of harm's way! The BugBuster is lightweight and approximately 15" in length when the tube is attached. Requires 9V battery (not included.)』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Loved it) 『We had this for at least 6 years and it held up beautifully. My daughter adored it because it looks so much like the real thing. I am now sending it to friends' kids.』
(Does not hold up well) 『I got this for my son when he was about 15 months old. The vacuum was a real hit - it looks just like the real Miele we use. The knob to increase the suction is really cute and gets louder as you turn it. The hose can clip on the end or the vacuum can stand up and the hose can clip to the side just like the real one too. The attachments are very cute and my son loved playing with those although he was not able to put them on himself - they have to snap into place - again, like the real one. The vacuum started to "break" when the hose snaped off from the vacuum. My husband cut it back and put it back on. Then it happened again. The hose is almost too dry or something. From all the use, the hose didn't move well with the use it got. Eventually the hose was becoming too small, we went to Home Depot and bought a clear plastic hose that fit perfectly. Then the sweeper clips broke off.So I had to duck tape the sweeper to the hose so my son could use the sweeper, otherwise he just put the attachment parts on. So, I'm not impressed. It's too fragile. The sweeper didn't last 4 months.』
(cute, but fragile) 『My little guy, 18 months old, loved our canister vacuum so I thought this would be perfect. He loves his little vacuum, but the clips that hold the pole and attachments came out the third time we used it. The pieces stay on (for now) without the clip, which is small enough to be a choking hazard.』
(Kinda flimsy) 『We bought this for our 20-month old so she might leave the real vacuum alone. It worked for that. But the construction is very cheap. The plastic is brittle. It claims to vacuum up small items but the ONLY thing we could get it to pick up was the styrofoam beads that shipped with it. The hose and nozzle assemly is no where near sealed so there is no suction. I realize it is a toy but it certainly does not live up to its product description.
All of that being said, my daughter loves to use it to vacuum with mom.』
(Miele Toy Vacuum Cleaner) 『Great toy. We love the attachments just like the real vacuum. It's sturdy. The sounds adjust with an easy to use button. Excellent price especially for the quality.』 『Description coming soon...』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A mover's best friend.) 『Being in the moving profession, owning a pair of these forearm forklifts moving straps are a must. They work well by distributing heavy weight from your back to your forearms. That's the point. I love them.』
(Not like the real ones) 『I've seen and used the "real" forearm forklift straps before. These are not them. These won't even stay on your arms and slide down to your wrists. Way too short to be of any value.
Don't waste your money.』
(Lift :"smart"!) 『Like most girls, when it comes to the heavy, brutish jobs, it's better to lift "smart" than wreck your back. These straps help you do just that. You still need a partner to use these, but the job is waaaaaay easier! Trust me, once friends help you move stuff with these, they'll be asking to borrow them when they need to move stuff. And they're a great way to show the guys you don't always need them for the 'boy' jobs!』
(RIPOFF! KNOCKOFF!) 『"RIPOFF! This product is a ripoff of the original Forearm Forklift! It is NOT as pictured. These are thin, narrow cheap straps with no padding. I have the original Forearm Forklift and it is a great product. This, however, is a cheap knockoff. I bought three as gifts and I am embarrassed to give them. "』
(Cheesy but amazing) 『You always see those things on TV and wonder if they really work?? Well honestly this does. My sister (who, like me, has NO upper body strength) tried using this product with a very large and awkward bookshelf in the attic of my old house. To be completly honest it felt as if the shelf weighed only 20 lbs. It was so amazing to be able to help the guys move the furniture and not just sit there and watch them break everything. I highly recomend these for EVERYONE』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Not Recommended) 『I have to give 1 star, because that is the minimum possible. I had to return this Vacuum cleaner because it wont remove any dirt from my car. The canister is so big, the machine could not produce enough suction power. The attachments are not good to clean between the seats, seat corners. It does make loud noise, i believe thats all it makes.
Beware that The 40" flexible hose is plastic and would not extend or shrink. But the picture gives a feeling that it will.』
(Good Vacuum for the price) 『I bought this because it was on sale but wished it had more detailed specs and reviews so I thought I would help out the next guy with this review. This vacuum is worth the money (when it's on sale at 26.99) and works better than similarly priced dust buster type vacuums I have used in the past. It is small enough for convenient car use yet powerful enough for car/boat vacuuming. It will suck up leaves and small rocks. Also comes with an attachment for inflating things. To inflate things, put the inflating attachment on the exhaust port. The vacuum is bagless but there is a small mesh bag on the inside covering the exhaust port that does require cleaning when emptying the cannister. Though the description says the cord is 14 feet long mine was 10 feet four and half inches (yes I measured it). Other than that "short coming" you can buy this vacuum with confidence, it's a good deal.』 『The Heavy Duty Wet/Dry Vacuum is ideal for cars, boats and campers. I am fanatical about keeping my cars clean. The suction from this little thing is better than my huge shop vac and unlike that vac this one is so easy to move around. Excellent assortment of attachments, too. Perfect for vacuuming carpeted steps!
Plenty of power for blasting the water off your car/motorcycle (although the neighbors may think you are a bit off!). I drove home in a downpour yesterday but got this thing out and blew the water off in the garage and then a quick once over with the detailer and the car was perfectly clean.
I do agree with other reviewers that some rubber feet would be a welcome addition but the lack thereof is not a big deal.』
(Noisy - NOT powerful) 『I purchased this to clean my two vehicles. I bought this unit based upon the great reviews I read, but I am very disappointed.
The unit I received came very poorly packaged and the carton was pretty much destroyed when I received it. The vacuum and accessories did not appear damaged so I accepted the shipment. I mention this because I don't know if the unit was internally damaged and this the cause of poor performance.
As a vacuum the unit is not very practical. The hose is too short to reach very far meaning that the unit must be carried around while vacuuming the vehicle. It makes lots of noise but has poor suction. The small tools restrict the air flow so much that the unit overheats. While trying to vacuum out the A/C vents the small attachments pushed the dust around but didn't lift it. Even when vacuuming carpets with the full size tools it wouldn't even pick up lint from a cotton towel!
As a blower the unit worked well except that it blows the hose off the canister. The hose should have a latch or locking button to prevent this. Also when using this as a blower the unit is both noisy and heats up very quickly.
All things considered I am going back to my shop vac for cleaning my cars. It works better than this unit and is better designed.
』
(Great little Vacuum) 『I bought this vacuum based on the reviews. Metro gets the job done. It is a wonderful vacuum. My truck rugs are cleaner then they have ever been.
Cons: The motor does get hot, if used for a long time. Also, there is no place to put the cord, hose and all of the attachments. At this price, one would expect to have a retractable cord and a place to hook the hose onto the machine. I am building a carrying case for everything, but then that changes the idea of compact. This is the only small vacuum on the market that has any power. If one comes out that is more user friendly, I will buy it next time. As for now, this is the best compact vacuum on the market.』
(Excellent Value) 『I use this in my piano service business. It's great for cleaning out the dust from pianos. Works as promised. The only thing I was uncertain about was something in the manual that mentioned what to do if the unit overheats. But it didn't say anything about how you know it overheats. ???
Other than that minor thing, I love it!』
(best vac for the money that I've ever used!) 『I've never experienced this much power from a vacuum this small. I expected the power to taper off after using it but it hasn't. It's perfect for what I use it for and I hope they keep making this product for a long time to come. It deserves supporting in my book.』 『HANDHELD VACUUM BLOWER Lightweight At Less Than 9 Lbs. Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Co., Inc.: Committed to the American Dream In December of 1939, Hyman Gulker pawned his pocket watch and gave $50 to his daughter and son-in-law, Pearl and Israel Stern. That was the beginning of Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Company, the family's American Dream.
Before he founded Metro, Israel sold vacuum cleaners door to door. He was such a great salesman, in fact, that the president of the last company he worked for offered him $100 to come back into the fold. To the president's great disappointment, however, Israel's wife had the last word. She said, "Nothing doing. We're on our own now!"
Since the day those fateful words were spoken, the Metropolitan Vacuum Cleaner Co., Inc. has grown from a small retail store in Bronx, NY, that sold and repaired vacuum cleaners into a multidivisional corporation with an ever-expanding range of products.
What's in the Box Vac 'N' Blo; six-foot hose; carpet/floor tool, two 20-inch extension wands; Pik-All nozzle; crevice tool; dusting brush; blower nozzle; inflator adapter; four-piece micro cleaning tool kit; four-wheel dolly; shoulder strap; and reusable filter bag.

D.J. Gingery
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Lacking expertise and basic information) 『This book essentially chronicles how Gingery built a vacuum former with no real previous experience or vacuum forming expertise. There are detailed plans to construct the vacuum former pictured on the cover, and that's about it. I have not built this vacuum former, but reading this book definitely raised some eyebrows.
Gingery fails to answer all but the most basic and obvious questions. Some things left unanswered by this book:
What are the advantages, disadvantages and range of applications for this vacuum former?
What other types of vacuum forming machines exist?
What is an appropriate amount of wattage for a given material? In another book I read recommendations varied from 5 to 50 watts per square inch, depending on the application. The heater in this book (The only 110v heater he could find) puts out just 2.6w per square inch. Does this mean it just takes longer to heat, or will there be other problems?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of various kinds of thermoplastics?
What is the practical limit for material thickness?
How much vacuum/heat is needed for a given thickness of material?
What are some guidelines for depth of draw for a given material and mold geometry?
He also fails to mention that some commonly used plastics (such as ABS) are hygroscopic and require drying prior to vacuum forming.
』
(Interesting book.) 『Brand new, good information. Highly detailed schematics and detailed info. Just smaller in size than I thought.』
(or how to build this exact machine) 『this book is really about just building this vacuum machine, not about vacuum forming in general. gives useful info on how to build a machine.』
(plans on the building of plastiforming) 『The plans take some time to digest but are doable if studied enough. I would have liked a blown up (expanded) view of the entire sytem included to see where every thing fits at first.』
(Too complicated for most hobbyists) 『While the book itself is great, and shows how to build an "industrial (almost)strength" type machine, the required complexity and construction, are beyond the ability of many hobbyists (as well as being relatively expensive). In particular, it requires welding and fabrication skills not generally available to the home hobbyist. Having said that, there is much to be learned, and using some of instructions and resources in the book, many people could easily build (as I intend) to build a somewhat simpler version, than is shown in this book.』

Frankly, I was hooked once I read his other book that focused on the analysis of the Fender Bassman. I have read other books on the subject that seem to take much more of a survey approach to the study of guitar amps. I am a serious musician and have always loved the tone of a good tube amp. So, it only stands to reason that as an engineer I would want to learn how to build my own. Unfortunately, the great texts like "The Radiotron Designers Handbook", aside from being hard to find in good condition, are traditional technical treatments of amplifier design and therefore stress the importance of designing "nice", linear, clean, and well behaved amplifiers. That's fine for HI-FI equipment but just plane antithetical to guitar amplifier building. ...anyway, Mr. Kuehnel's books (all three of them) treat the tube guitar amplifier as it should be. That is, as half of the musical instrument. The half that produces all the great warmth of tone and musical rich distortion that all modern guitarists crave. His works come from an understanding that distortion and non-linear behavior is exactly what a good guitar amp is about and he presents the circuit analysis needed to understand how to capture that behavior in your own designs. Also, while he takes the time to illustrate a particular design choice by highlighting similar circuit blocks from famous amplifiers (like the Bassman,) his books fully explain the design trade-offs involved rather than just parroting existing designs. I have added each of his books to my library and hope to see them in hardcover some day.』 『The power amp transforms the carefully crafted signal voltages served up by the preamp stages into the punch and sizzle that defines a guitar amplifier's character. Written for electronic engineers and professional amp builders,Guitar Amplifier Power Ampsmoves beyond simplistic advice and cookbook solutions to present a complete guide to the theory and operation of single-ended and push-pull power amplification. From the phase inverter input to the loudspeaker output, every aspect of circuit design is rigorously explained and thoroughly explored. Its fascinating to see, how like other 'easy' inventions like the first wheel, the simple 'zero' was missed for so long. he also throws a lot of light on the history of creation ex nihilo in the Bible. A good book.』
(Begins with more than something ends with almost nothing...) 『This book comes close to literary schizzophrenia if i ever encountered it in written form.
Keeping in mind that the author aspires to explain"complicated"issues like voids, vacuums and the general concept of nothingness, this book could indeed have been another horror to read through like many such books are for those of us who dont spend our lives in labs. I was more than surprised then when i discovered that for 200 odd pages (2/3 of the effort) D.Barrow does an incredible job explaining his subject in brilliant manner.
Beginning by backtracking in history, to exhibit how the ancients dealt with the concept of nothing and therefore needing to introduce the conception and the introduction (or non-introduction) of the number zero Barrow kept me heavily intrigued and increasingly stimulated. I was in fact in pure awe for a while, especially as the book progressed to the origins of the universe, early experiments about the vacuum and the startling things we've discovered about it, and then on to the ever-fascinating subject of the expansion of the universe (or agin, the non-expansion thereof). That part of the book is very enriched with philosophy which makes it all the more captivating. Philosophy, it may be unknown to some, has played a pivotal part in the development of physics. Before you can ever begin experimenting with anything you first need to grasp it even as an abstract concept in your mind.
That far, this was easily the first book that could explain in a very comprehensive manner why the universe might be expanding and what the causes of such an effect might be, as well as, the effect of vacuums in this process. The joy didnt stop there, at least not for a while yet. Introducing theinevitable Einstein theorisations the author kept using down-to-earth language and very effective examples to build his case.
But then for reasons i believe to be obvious the whole things falls apart. As if another author takes over 2/3 of the way in, the"Book of nothing"becomes almost a list-down of mathematical types, and descriptions of ultra-complicated experiments and even more convoluted theories. Worse yet, the language becomes wooden and tiresome, the examples fade off to ambiguity and the reading becomes a very, very difficult task. An incredible effect to watch unfolding before my very eyes. I couldn't believe how much i'd actually grasped through the early stages of this book and how"nothing"(there is my pun) i grasped later on. And saying i grasped nothing later on is meant literally. I found myself reading the last 150 pages of the"Book of Nothing"as if it were hieroglyphics and were it not for the brilliance of this book initially i would've given it up all together.
What happened then. Well, in my opinion, what happened was one of the following or some combination of them: -Barrow might actually be a better philosopher than he's a physicist, hence he might be practicing the wrong profession. -as is the case with other scientists who've written such ambitious books, the suspicion lingers threatfully on that they themselves might not understand what they're talking about. Indeed, a major principle of communication states that if your message is not understood then it is 100% your fault. But even more importantly, if your message isnt understood then your message might not be...right.
Whichever the case, this is not the important thing. What is important is how this book is divided in half. Half of it absolutely incredible, fun to read, ultra-stimulating and then the other half a pure torture of a read with no reward in sight.
For the part that does reward though i couldn't possibly over-reccommend this book. It's a must read especially if you feel there are concepts you dont seem to understand about the latest theories concerning the universe, its origins or its future, the vacuums and voids and other elements connected to this big (second pun, unintended this time) picture.
If you find yourself giving up on the"Book of nothing"as you approach its conclusion, dont worry. Your overall effort wont be in nought.』
(Half of a Good Book) 『I was excited to read this book. I find the concepts of zero and the vacuum very interesting and those are the very concepts that are the focus of this book. Unfortunately, it did not quite live up to my expectations.
The first chapters of the book are quite good. Barrow gives us a history lesson on the development of the mathematical concept of zero as well as the historical concept of"nothing"which science will turn into the concept of vacuum. We get to read about the use of zero as a place holder in more complex numbering systems as well as its coming into being as a number. We get to read about the some of the great scientists--Pascal, Newton, Michelson, Einstein--doing experiments and tossing around ideas like the aether. All of this is interesting and well told.
However, about half-way through the wheels start to fall off. Barrow is not nearly as good at explaining the modern concepts of the vacuum as he is about telling of its historical development. Modern physics is again grappling with the question of whether or not a true vacuum can exist. It may be that fluctuations in the vacuum caused the Big Bang and are constantly creating multiple universes, for example. But though Barrow discusses these things, he does not do so in a very coherent manner. Alan Guth, for instance, did a much better job of discussing these same subjects in his book on the inflationary universe theory.
Plus, Barrow is clearly out to toot his own horn a bit in the last couple chapters by mentioning his own contributions to the development of the subject. It just so happens that his contributions don't seem nearly as important as other authors who have written on similar subjects. For those readers interested in the history of zero and the vacuum, I would suggest reading this book through chapter five and then putting it aside.』
(Captivating early on, but disappoints toward the end.) 『I really enjoyed the first part of this book. There I found the coverage of Nothing-related topics to be interesting, well-written, and enjoyable to read. While not always the case, as a rule new concepts and theories were introduced with adequate explanation as well. For example, the quick introduction to surreal numbers was informative and fascinating, though it left me feeling only teased and wanting more.
However, the last third or so of the book is another story. This part often comes across like the author was rushed or something, and on average the reading is simply more tedious and difficult than it needs to be. Rather than being fun and informative, the effort required to extract the few worthwhile morsels of information probably isn't worth it.
Even though I have mixed feelings about it, I would still consider recommending this book to anyone typically interested in mathematics and physics. But for something that covers much of the same basic subject matter in a more enjoyable way, I would probably instead recommend"Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea"by Charles Seife.』
(Lambda force rules in Universeý at least for now.) 『John Barrow's work is truly nifty and represents well-researched and designed material, that can stand on it's own. If you have already read popular science cosmology books by Kip Thorne, Igor Novikov, Martin Rees or Alan Guth (just a few excellent examples - check my reviews), "The Book of Nothing" will still deliver new and fresh angle through which mysteries of quantum and Universe can be looked at. Therefore I recommend this book to all cosmology readers.
Book is unique as a blend of tasteful dissertations from the realms of theology, philosophy, mathematics and cosmo - science. We will discover Mayan culture, Islamic art and Babylonian concept of zero, meet and learn what they thought or discovered - Greek philosophers, Hindus, Leibniz, Galileo, Pascal, Descartes, Newton/Einstein, Godel, Lemaitre, Plank, Guth, Linde, and Penrose/Hawking.
The main theme (regardless if this was cosmology part of the book or not) is vacuum, and more exactly: it's energy. Vacuum is not empty due to quantum phenomena and vacuum presents itself as a LAMBDA force, dominating, according to what we observe, the current behaviour of visible Universe.
Especially interesting are author's summaries about famous question: "Why is there something rather than nothing?", and about origin of the Universe and life. Is it possible that Cosmos always existed and will exist, or has it been created out of NOTHING? After all, one may construct, very easily, mathematical equation that proves "nothing" theory (find it inside the book). Can cosmos be self-reproductive or cyclical? John Barrow and his colleague Mariusz Dabrowski discovered answer to the latter.
Few explanations: Figure 8.2 (Mexican hat): horizontal axes (both) can be labeled as Higgs field values. Figure 8.5: horizontal axis contains label for the scalar field as well. Figure 7.11 contains symbol"phi"(zero with slash): it represents the golden ratio and equals (1 + square root of 5)/2 = 1.61803...
Sentence on page 248 (paperback edition) should read:"..so in combination they can pin down the Universe by their overlap with far greater certainty (not"uncertainty") than when taken singly."This sentence describes figure 8.10.
Finally I was overwhelmed and amused by many great citations, that shine along the text. Some of them are really funny; some are incredibly deep and surprising. Here is a sample of the funny one:
"I must say that I find TV very educational. Whenever somebody turns it on, I go to the library and read a book".
For sure, go and read John Barrow's, you will not regret.』
『From our modern perspective, it is easy to deride the wranglings of medieval scholars over the number of angels that could dance of the head of a pin and whether Nature abhors a vacuum. But as John Barrow reveals in this timely and important book, new discoveries in science have shown that these scholars were right to suspect that Nothing has hidden depths.
It is a concept shot through with paradoxes: even innocent-looking phrases like "Nothing is real" flip their meanings as we ponder them, like those illusions that look like a vase one moment, and opposing faces the next. Nothing is fertile, too, as Barrow shows via a stunning trick that allows every number one can think of to be built out of nothing at all.
But his book is about far more than mind games. Arguably, the most important discovery of 20th-century physics is that there is no such thing as nothing: even the tightest vacuum is teeming with subatomic particles popping in and out of existence, according to the dictates of quantum theory. Now, many astronomers suspect that such "vacuum effects" may have triggered the Big Bang itself, filling our universe with matter. Indeed, the very latest observations suggest that vacuum effects will dictate the ultimate fate of the universe.
As an internationally respected cosmologist, Barrow does a fine job of explaining these new discoveries. The result is a book that is required reading for anyone who wants to understand why there will be much ado about Nothing among scientists in the years ahead.--Robert Matthews, Amazon.co.uk』
『What conceptual blind spot kept the ancient Greeks (unlike the Indians and Maya) from developing a concept of zero? Why did St. Augustine equate nothingness with the Devil? What tortuous means did 17th-century scientists employ in their attempts to create a vacuum? And why do contemporary quantum physicists believe that the void is actually seething with subatomic activity? Youâll find the answers in this dizzyingly erudite and elegantly explained book by the English cosmologist John D. Barrow.
Ranging through mathematics, theology, philosophy, literature, particle physics, and cosmology,The Book of Nothingexplores the enduring hold that vacuity has exercised on the human imagination. Combining high-wire speculation with a wealth of reference that takes in Freddy Mercury and Shakespeare alongside Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, and Stephen Hawking, the result is a fascinating excursion to the vanishing point of our knowledge.』

This double walled flask is built with BPAfree stainless steel and will keep up to two cups of your favorite wintertime beverage warm for up to 10 hours. The Push Button value on the Bow Valley makes pouring easy and allows you to enjoy liquid warmth in the backcountry, at the office, or during a rainy football game.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Must Have) 『Got this item shipped from Amazon on Time.I bought this item after reading reviews on Amazon. We were going to Mena Arkansas and up talimena drive and wanted to take Tea (Indian). Did wash and pre-heat as per instructions. The beverage was still at high temperature when we first opened up after 3 hrs. even after 24 hrs the beverage was more than warm. Its is good for family as volume is high. We had to throw the content away after 30 hrs or so because it contained milk and we didnt want to take risk. There is small smell of beverage kept in container but I guess it may be because of first use or something that cannot be avoided. I am giving 4 starts because of this.』
(best thermos i have ever had) 『this thermos is is great . holds almost full pot of coffee and keeps it hot for a very long time. and on the other half keeps thing cold very long time too i put ice and drink in it and after 12 hrs the ice still didnt melt. looking for a big thermos you cant break and keeps things hot or cold very long time . with a good price ,this is the one!! 』
(Thermos) 『Have not used this item yet but it will be great to have for traveling especially.』
(Storing premixed cold drinks - Worked Great) 『I just used this product at a reunion at which I tended bar. I premixed Margaritas so I could just pour them as needed. Worked perfectly, I hear. Personally I don't like Margaritas but those that did, approved of my lazy man's approach.
Excellent product.』
(Happy Husband at work.) 『My husband wanted a thermos so he could have coffee at his desk during his work day. He is extremely satisfied with this thermos. It keeps his coffee hot from the time he leaves daily until he returns at night. He has begun putting a pot of coffee in it as soon as it is brewed on the weekends also rather than leaving the pot on warm for hours. He said he didn't know how bad the coffee at work really was until he began bringing his from home. No more of sitting for hours on a warming tray for his cup of coffee!!! We are very pleased with the thermos.』 『Make this 2 qt steel bottle your faithful companion while camping, commuting or working. It's vacuum insulated to keep liquads hot up 12 hours or cold up to 24 hours.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Buy this) 『Very simple to use. I have never changed the oil in my car. Using the same filter, I changed the oil in 10 minutes. No mess. Simple to use for log splitters, motorcycles, lawn mowers.』
(Pela Oil Extractor) 『Excellent product makes changing the oil in the boat and lawn mower a breeze after warming up the oil. Great product Thanks,』
(great tool) 『Great tool, i use it to change the oil on my 2000 Volkswagen Golf diesel, keeps me from haveing to climb under the car, and it takes out more oil than just using the drain plug. good sturdy construction and well engineered to make the job clean.』
(Pella Oil Extractor) 『Excellent product. I use it to change oil in both my cars and my lawn tractor.
Oil draining with the extractor is slower than just pulling a drain plug, but is a lot easier and cleaner. Avoiding the crawling under the car to open the crankcase drain plug is worth the price of this extractor.』
(Useful product but zero support) 『I used this product with no problems for a couple oil changes and it was convenient and clean. But then the flexible tube got a little worn and the flexible plastic sheathing that covers the spring steel tube developed several cracks. With the cracks the tube cannot hold a vacuum rendering the product totally worthless. None of the resellers have a clue about replacement tubes, and Pela themselves are totally unreachable. Three times in the last year I've gotten zero response to email inquiries and the last email simply bounced. I'd like to recommend this product but can't.
If you're going to buy a Pela extractor then get the one with the hard plastic tubing rather than the more flexible plastic covered spring steel tubing. The latter will eventually crack and then it's done.』 『New Compact Pela Oil Extractor - The newly designed, 6-liter Pela provides the power of larger size pumps in an efficient, compact, more affordable model. Just 10 to 20 strokes creates a powerful vacuum, while the sturdy see-through container neatly captures the oil. Pump is removable for easy storage.』

I have inhaled more than my share of dust. Use a pliers to be sure it's tight when you set it up. Otherwise, they are great to use.』
(Lawn Vac Bag) 『Needed replacement Lawn Vac Bags, these worked great, got two which should last 10 years. Good value from Amazon.』
(It works, but..........) 『Bag works but it does not have stitched in velco like the original one (which the mice ate through while it was in my shed for the winter). It comes with plastic tie which is a pain to use when switching between blowing and vacuuming.』
(Toro Blower Bag) 『The bag is a replacement for the original bag who's zipper broke. The bag came pretty quickly and was immediately put into use. So far it is holding up just fine.』
