This vacuum is much better than I expected. Our last one died after about 4 years and granted it was abused and not well maintained. But a lot of that was due to not really being a user serviceable vacuum. This Hoover came with a manual that gives complete descriptions on how to replace all the parts/belts! That alone will make me more likely to attempt to replace the parts.

As for operation we've only had it a few days. It is easy (logical) to use. Suction is amazing. We have primarily hardwood floors with several floor rugs on which it works real well. Very strong suction so the smaller rugs seem to easier to vacuum on the lowest suction setting.

Oh, and did I mention quiet? This vacuum is significantly quieter than any other we've had. Certainly helps with not freaking the dogs out. Sheba lays there looking at it instead of running off.
Quick delivery from vendor. Good suction and portability but the beater bar attachment is aggressive so it won't work on carpets that bunch up at all. A wide brush tip provided with the Hoover works fine for this. It also came with a small (5" wide) suction-powered upholstery beater brush for cleaning dog hair off of pillows and cushions. Can't beat the convenience of the dirt collection system.
Great vacuum. Replaced my old Hoover with a new improved model. The power head does a superb job on your rug and its easy to empty the canister.
I followed the advice of others who reviewed this product in much greater detail (thank you guys). Was going to buy a Dyson - think I saved a lot of money!
I truly hate this vacuum that my husband bought because it looked 'cool' while it worked on both carpet and hardwood floor.
Here is a short list of why:

1. The belt that rotates the brush keeps slipping off. After 10th time, my husband threw his hands up in utter defeat.
2. I have difficult time dragging the canister part while vacuuming. So many times, you are limited to the length of the flex hose connecting the two parts. It gets frustrating after third time stopping to drag/carry the canister.
3. The main brush/vacuum part doesn't stand on its own. So when I stop to bring the canister closer, I have to place it on the floor. My back gets a lot of workout for the day.

For the most part, the vacuum stays in the closet because I dread using it. My cordless vacuum has been overworking for our family with couple of dogs and a toddler for now. If you are considering buying this, please go to your local store so if it doesn't work out for you, too, you can easily return the product.

In combination with the Hoover steam cleaner this product works very well and it has a very pleasant odor.
At 5 ounces per gallon, it takes about 1/2 gallon (64oz) to clean your house. This formula works great, and it's a good size for anyone who's planning on using their steam vac more than once.
We bought this product to clean the carpeting stains left by the previous owners. Our pets are naturally perfect and would not even think of soiling the carpet. In whose dreams was that? Regardless, the old stains were really embedded and even when the professionals cleaned the carpet before we took possession the stains did not fully leave. But this Hoover Detergent did the job and did it well. Amazement would be a good word to describe our surprise when we saw those stains leave. Moreover, those stains left without bleach. Bleach would have taken them up, probably, but who needs to have a big pink spot instead of the rose colored carpeting? Great stuff and works well for us. Would buy again.

I thought this would have been a good choice because it said it removed "allergens". It also says on the bottle "removes allergens". This is ridiculous! Many people with allergies have reactions to perfumes and scents. Yes, it's a lovely fragrance, but that's not the point. I do not dare use this stuff, filling my rooms with the synthetic smell for who-knows-how-long. This is the type of thing that can give me headaches for weeks!

I tried to find ingredients listed on the bottle before opening it but there was no list, just that phrase "removes allergens". So I risked opening the seal to sniff it, and lost that gamble. I am very disappointed. Why would they perfume an anti-allergen product? Well, I should have read a few more reviews before the purchase. Now I have a huge bottle of useless-to-me shampoo.

I am back online searching for the key words "hypo-allergenic" and "unscented". I will try for a refund, but not sure what response I'll have due to open container. I feel the packaging/info is misleading to people with allergies. Cat and dog dander are not the only allergens!

BE CAREFUL of other NON-Original Roomba Batteries! They look almost the same, cost about the same, but can cause problems for the charging system. Amazon has the best TOTAL price for this battery.
I love the IRobot Roomba itself. It's a great product. Unfortunately the battery life is relatively short. I've had Roomba for three years, and had just purchased my third battery. I do use Rommba almost on a daily basis however, so I suppose that I can't complain.
Factory replacement. Works well. Read the battery tips on the factory site for best performance.
I bought this battery to replace my other one because even though I had tried to reset it my Roomba would only run for about five minutes before returning to dock. I plugged this battery into my Roomba, let it charge for the requisite 16 hours, and then reprogrammed the scheduler. Unfortunately, when the Roomba came off the dock and began to run, it again only ran for five minutes before running out of power. So now that this supposedly new battery doesn't work I am at a loss to explain what I have to fix. I did bypass the dock and plugged the Roomba into the charger directly, but I haven't run it several times having done that to see if the problem is with the charging prongs on the dock or not. I would definitely recommend that anyone that buys this battery beware.
After only 9 months with my last battery, I had to order another because the one I had no longer charged. I live in CA so had to wait for it to be shipped from Kentucky. The new one came with no directions, but to be safe I put it on the charger for 2 full days before trying it. It hadn't charged. I can't know if it was the charger or the battery at fault. To find out would've taken at least another month of cross country shipping. I had to return it for a refund. That means my iRobot is now useless. Yet, when it works, it suits my purposes better than anything else out there. So, I'll bite the bullet and get another; perhaps newer models will be more reliable.

Super solution to a nagging problem!! I found this dust collector just right for my contractor saw. I am usually working in homes for remodeling and this dust collector makes end-of-day clean up a lot easier. The zipper bag is easy to empty and the volume is just right for a days work. Can't find any fault with this item - wish I would have known about it sooner.
Here's the deal, this is a table saw. It makes sawdust. The hole on the back by the power cord is a sawdust exhaust port. If you have a dust collector, by all means plug a vacuum hose into that port and it may even collect all the dust. I do not have a dust collector, this means the exhaust port throws sawdust a good 7 feet or so out the back of the saw. Adding this collector bag now means I only have to sweep up directly under the saw, not under the saw and an arc 7 feet out away from the saw. To me it's absolutely worth it, but it won't replace a several hundred or thousand dollar dust collection system.
This saw is THE BEST I have ever had! As a wood worker of some 50 years, I wish I had had it long ago. The cut results in such a smooth edge or side, like it was already run over the jointer. And the blade is so sharp, with a rather thin kerf. Also, the saw is not at all heavy, and can be moved easily.
This bag saves me a lot of time on my clean up when I am done working in my shop. And the saw dust comes in handy for spills that occur in other areas of the house.
worth the money but dont think you can use table saw inside without making a mess. I love the Bosch 4100 table saw I have and this does cut down on a large amount of sawdust blowing everywhere

Very cost effective Blower/Vacuum. This is my second one. I used the first one for many years until the blower fan blade broke. Both were purchased thru Amazon.com and I am very happy with its performance and longivity.

I only use the Blower on this model,and it is a very good one. I have used this model for about 10 years now with no problems at all! Great Design!

This is a great blower/vac. Our old one just died one day, so my husband asked me to find one exactly like it, which I did. Once we got the new one, he found out why the old one wasn't working anymore (some small part had cracked&gone missing), he was able to repair it using ingenuity, and now we have two--which makes him a happy man, as he doesn't have to lug one all the way from the garage to the front anymore. If you are looking for a basic blower-vac, this one will definitely do the job for you.

My purchase is an electric Toro leaf blower and vacuum. Item performs much as claimed, strong vacuum and blower capability, not very good as a mulcher. Price was very competitive. Believe I will receive good service for my intended use.

This clamp works as expected. In some instances, it works better than an adjustable pipe clamp for flexible duct connections since flexible duct has the spiral metal framework. Gets the job done and for a buck, it gets two thumbs up.
This is a nice simple piece of critical equipment. If it didn't work properly, it could cause a lot of hassle (air gaps / hoses coming off). The two wires fit easily over the end of the hose and seated snuggly on each side of the hose groove and then clamped up nice with just a phillips screwdriver. The wires strattle the ribbing on the hose, creating a nice tight fit. I put on quite a few of these wire clamps without one problem, air leak or lose hose.

I wish I could say the same for the steel band clamps. I tried them first, and stripped more than I put on. Go with the wire clamps, and do it right the first time!
I didn't figure that there was much of a differnce between hose clamps. I used both - steel band clamps and wire band clamps- with my ribbed hose for dust collection. The wire band clamps were easier to put on, held better, seated well, and stayed on.

As usual great service when buying directly from Amazon.

This review is mostly a comparison to old trimmers I have used such as one that charges on a base and one that runs off 2 AA batteries.

Positives
1. The charger is just a cable that plugs into the bottom. I personally hate bases as I have drawers and other storage and this allows me to pull it out real quick to charge the couple of hours it needs and then I just bundle it up and put it away.
2. The Battery lasts a long time, even with the vacuum this thing just keeps going. Should easily last me a month as I have goatee and mustache versus a full beard.
3. The vacuum does a good job and picks up most hairs so there is minimal cleanup. Usually I just blow on the head to get rid of loose hairs so they don't end up in my drawer.
4. The size adjustment is quick and doesn't require separate attachments.
5. It gives you a great look, it gives a nice even cut and I will be using this for a few years.

Negatives
1. If your trimmer batteries are dead it still won't run even when plugged in. The trimmer turns off the charging port when you press the on button. The more expensive model allows this so it's just a up sell not a technical limitation.
2. This device is huge compared to most other trimmers I have tried. For the most part this isn't too bad but it's sort of difficult to trim my mustache under my nose but with a little practice it isn't hard.
3. It can get clogged when doing longer hair as the vacuum is smaller so either cut long hair in two steps or just keep cutting because it still cuts just fine even when the vacuum is clogged..

Overall I compared this to the higher end model that has the smaller trimmer attachment and I would say get this plus a tiny Remington trimmer as I feel these are too fat for delicate work.
I grew my beard 7 months ago and I was having a real problem keeping it trimmed. I was using my Remington Trimmer, but I couldn't keep the hair length uniform. I read the reviews for this trimmer and it works just as advertised - the adjustable lengths keep the beard uniform and the vacuum keeps both my face, neck and the bathroom countertop free from the cut hairs.

Additionally, as I am bald, I use it to keep remaining hair on my head trimmed. It is really worth the price.
The Norelco T780 is a great trimmer. With 9 settings, it can make your beard the exact length that you prefer. The vacuum feature works fairly well, but don't expect perfection, as some hairs will sneak out. It has all the basic features you would need in a trimmer, but if price is no object, consider the T980. Both trimmers have the same experience (you will get the same results) but the T980 has the cool bells and whistles that you may crave (faster charge time, low battery indicator, travel case, etc.) Either way you can't lose with this consistent product.
I think other reviews peg the good quality of this trimmer very well. The vacuum action get most (but not all) trimmings. The built-in guide depth selection is handy. It's light-weight. The only thing it's missing is a built-in mustache trimmer (the narrow trimmer head), and that's the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.
I really like the easily adjustable depth comb. You don't have to attach different clip-on combs to the cutting head. I also like the built-in vacuum, which really works quite well.

Amazon reviewers are so right about this product. The machine is exactly what I needed for a uninterrupted nights sleep. It has multiple levels of air adjustment and two different speed settings. It is definitely worth a try for someone in need of a decent nights sleep.
This is my second white noise maker ONLY because mine was fried when my daughter plugged it in while on her trip in Europe. This machine cuts out all noise, esp. when turned on loud. Best if you put it on low, so you can hear if someone tries to break in, etc.
I bought this product for an extremely noisey second floor loft. The product helped to screen out about 80% of the noise coming off the street making it easier to sleep. My only complaint is that for what the product is, a fan, the price seems high.
The Sound Conditioner works wonders! My wife always slept with a fan running to create some white noise. There are many times where a fan running at night is not needed or wanted -- mainly on cold winter nights. I did a little research and found this device. It works as advertised. My wife was initially a little skeptical but soon was hooked. If you need "white noise" to sleep, this will work! And, if our current on ever breaks, we would buy another one.
The white noise is just the thing I wanted, but it needs a little more modulation from softest to full sound, the variation in sound is just too subtle...

I used to use generic replacement bag because it was cheaper but since it does not fit perfectly, I had lots of issues. Now that I use the one that fits perfectly, suction is better and all dirt go into the bag!

These bags fit in the MC3900 (and others) Panasonic canister vacuum's. They keep almost all of the dust in the bag due to their construction and last a long time, which is important when doing a final clean in a client's or your own home.
This product was recommended to buy on your website with the Panasonic vacuum I bought. It is a bagless vacuum!! So, I returned the bags and you charges me for shipping. I am very disappointed.

The troubles with cell phones not working after the terrorist attacks in 2001 and the power blackout in 2003 made clear the advantage of a corded land-line telephone in emergencies. There have also been repeated problems with expensive combination telephone/answering machines where one stops working so the whole thing has to be replaced. The frequent and annoying static on various cordless telephones was the last straw so I ordered this telephone over four years ago and have really enjoyed using it.

The backlit dial pad is nice and the easy access to controls for ring and handset volume is great. I don't use the memory dial or emergency buttons but they could be useful if someone has trouble dialing numbers or uses a calling card for long distance. You don't need any instructions to use the basic features, just plug it in, lift off the base and dial, which is a nice change from fancy electronics that take an hour to set up. The handset itself is well-balanced and feels substantial in the hand without being too heavy. The buttons have the right amount of "give".

Overall, this is a nice little telephone, simple and reliable.

I was thrilled to find this phone. I have two AT&T 210 Trimline corded phones which were bought back in the 1980's and they still work fine. My new phone that I just purchased is exactly the same; same sound quality, the only difference I noticed is it is a bit lighter in weight. But that is not a problem. I am very happy with my purchase. I wish it came in more colors like red, or green. The only colors offered were black or white. This phone has the versatility of either being a desk phone or a wall phone. That's nice too. It was a good price too of $10 for the phone and shipping. I give it five stars.

Celebes(aka Sulawesi)coffee is some of the richest coffee in the world, equalled maybe by the coffees from Yemen, Ethiopia, and Kenya. If you like those coffees, you'll love this.
Ever since Starbucks stopped stocking it's Sulawesi coffee, I've been looking for another supplier. Joe's roast is lighter than Starbucks, and also a bit more acidic.
I like a roast where the oils just start to show on the surface of the bean.
Celebes Kalossi Coffee is one of the best coffees that I have found. It is mild yet very flavorful with low acidity so its not as hard on the stomach as some coffees. Definately worth a try (and another, and another).
Celebes Kalossi (modern day Sulawesi) is grown at very high altitudes in the Toraja region. A 300 year history of coffee cultivation and production produce an intensely rich coffee with low acidity and a deep complex aroma.

I bought this for my son, Christmas 2006, since he liked "helping" me clean the house. The back of the vacuum tilts down just like the real thing, so he can "vacuum" under his bed. There is a tiny button near the light that makes very realisitic vacuum humming. My son uses his foot to turn it on and off, in an effort to copy me. I have not had to change the light bulb, and it runs on three AAA batteries. I use rechargeable batteries, but I've only had to replace them once, despite how often my son uses it. I know it's durable because I've caught my son stepping on the handle, when the back was laying flat, and it didn't crack or break. When he is a little older, we will upgrade to the Dirt Devil Toy Vacuum Jr., so he can be responsible for his own room.

My kids loves this toy. We spend alot of time outdoors working in our yard, so these two toys help the kids feel included. My daughter is 2 and my son is 4 and they both enjoy playing with them. I read some reviews that mentioned they are not very loud, well ours is very loud, infact if you bump the lawnmower while the kids are sleeping, it will wake them!!
"Santa" delivered this toy to our 20 month old son and he loves it. He has pushed it all over our home and his grandparents home as well.Mike the mower makes noises that sound like he is cutting grass and he talks alot with different phrases like " It's 1st down and 10 yards to mow" My son has not quite captured how to play with Zip the trimmer yet though. The only cons to these toys are they make continuous noise. You can turn off Mike the mower from saying anything but it will still make the mowing sound. Zip the trimmer has no turn off switch. All in all though my son is enjoying these 2 toys very much.
My 19 month old son loves this toy. I like it better than the other lawn movers I have seen. He also likes the trimmer, which is a nice added bonus.
Fun for kids who like mowers -- but as others have said, both are very noisy. Even though we took the batteries out, the mower makes a loud clacking noise.
This was a perfect purchase for our 2 year old who enjoys helping with all the house hold chores. The toys are loud...but the sayings are humorous. Would recommend for both boys and girls 18 months to 4 years (the neighbor kids loved them too!).

I bought this for my little guy who has a vacuum obsession right now. This product is pretty much as advertised. The vacuum actually works as advertised and (Good and bad) has very light/low suction. My main worry buying this was that the suction would be high enough that if he (my son) put it on his eye, and it formed a seal, that it would hurt him. No worries there. The vacuum will actually suck up tiny Styrofoam beads, but nothing more than that. The vacuum doesn't actually come with the aforementioned tiny Styrofoam beads, probably because they would be dangerous. : P

Not too noisy, not to flimsy, made my son happy... nice product.

I got to say...this little baby has lasted me approximately 3 years now, and it is still working like a champ! I have hardwood floors mostly, so this vacuum is great! And as far as other jobs...I clean cages (wet and dry), suck up pet hair, suck up spiderwebs..etc. etc. etc. It gets in corners and does it with serious power! I don't know how many times I've told my partner how great this little vacuum is.. and I finally found a forum to tell the world...You can not beat the price for this BIG powered vac! LOVE IT!!
The only thing I wish it came with is a better filter to start with. I have to go out and get a better filter. The one it comes with isn't very good.

Ok folks, I decided to do a review BECAUSE of some of you saying "I wish it had wheels".

You simply do not need them! This vacuum has a very slick bottom surface with curvature much like a boat. You can drag this thing all over your house with little to no resistance - whether it's on carpet, linoleum, wood, or tile. Of course you'll scratch up the bottom if you drag it on concrete, but this vacuum isn't designed for tough duty outside jobs.

I've used this vacuum for over 6 months and I vacuum my entire house with it. I am totally satisfied. I originally bought it as a temporary substitute while shopping for "normal" house vacuums. However, due to all the bad ratings, I gave up on my search. That's fine because I'm happy with this little sucker. (I also have a 14 gallon wet-vac for the garage)

So really folks, you truly don't need any wheels. Besides, all they'll do is get hung up on corners when you pull it around the house or make this vacuum tip over easily by changing it's center of gravity.

As a last note, I agree with some that the tool holding capability is lacking. The wall bracket is nice but they could have done a much better job with tool accommodations. I can deal with this oversight. Overall, I find this to be a very handy tool at a reasonable price.

This Vacuum (with Wall Mount Bracket) is ideal for my garage. It has plenty of sucking power and handles all of the small jobs and vehicle clutter that is created. I love it. It is light and easy to handle.
The relatively small size and the nice long hose make car cleaning a breeze. Powerful enough to use as a small shop vac too, I am still remodeling so have yet to use the storage hanger system.
The product works great, but I didn't like the fact that it was supposed to be new but the accesories showed slight signs of use
If everyone wishes this product had wheels, why don't you just glue some on. The wheels are available in Walmart, Kmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, just about everywhere. Or I guess you could even drill some holes and attach them with screws. It's just plastic you're drilling into. Just bought this product yesterday and haven't used it yet but I figured I could drag it on the floor, it doesn't really need wheels.

Bought this as a replacement for a plastic pump I owned for years. It is great! works well, solid construction, excellent performance. I gave it a 4 star rating as I found the extras included with the pump are pretty useless to me, others might find them helpful.

One of the most best hank the cowdog books ever.I gave this hank the cowdog book 5 stars out of 5 because it was really great. My favorite part was when they were outside and Drover had the hicups and also the part were hank mistook Rip and Snort as the stray dogs.
I love all the Hank books, and this is a great one for the Christmas season. These books are hilarious and more important to the young reader, fun to read. I'd also check the rest of the series.

This is one of the greatest books in the universe. I think one of the funniest parts was when Hank and Drover were stuck out on the porch and Drover got the hiccups. I also liked the part where Hank told Rip and Snort they had Creeping Termanal Entropy and Rip called it Creepum Termite Hoopum-Hikum. I didn't like the part where Hank made Muggs fight with Rip and Snort. I like Buster, Muggs, and the "other two" (my little sister and I call them Fleabag and Scrap). In short, this was another good Hank the Cowdog Book. I can't wait for the next one.

I purchased this item thinking it would do a reasonably good job in my 44 foot by 20 foot in ground pool. This item is probably fine for smaller or above ground pools, but was very frustrating for a larger in ground pool. The net was very small and cheap feeling. The unit seems to be cheap plastic. It would not stay on the bottom of the pool and kept wanting to "float" to the top. The brushes fall out all the time, which makes them useless.

My advice is to buy a much more ruggedly designed one of these leaf vacuums from your local pool store, or online if you can find it. Get a bigger leaf bag in the unit, and make sure it has adequate weight to stay on the bottom of your pool and they wheels actually swivel properly. You will end up paying 2 to 3 times more for a quality leaf vacuum but at least you'll not be wasting your time with this "toy."
Item received almost as advertised and in excellent condition. As someone else noted the "handle" is 4" and therefore totally and completely useless. It does a FANTASTIC job getting leaves off the bottom on the pool as long as it stays there. I have an 18' intex pool and I had to actually get into the pool and hold it down to get it to vacuum up the leaves and once I did it worked extremely well. Naturally the pole I already have doesn't fit so I've got to buy a new one if I want to use it from outside the pool.
This Leaf Bagger is a great product. I have a tree that drops ALOT of leaves directly into my pool. I have no problem getting them all out now. My pool is always crystal clear now!
Bought for a 15ft by 4ft vinyl pool,cleaned up the leaves and bugs at the bottom quick!!!!!!!!! did not come with handle but was easily towed by hose, very durable plastic shell, no regrets.
I bought this because I was tired of my Polaris 280 having to run for 4 hours or more to clean up the mess after a storm. We have a large Chinese Elm in our yard and didn't want to lose it when we built the pool.

The Swimline Leaf Bagger allows me to pick up a mess of leaves in less than 30 minutes. I easily hooked the hose from my Polaris to the Bagger inlet by disconnecting it just before the backup valve, then hooking it to the Bagger. The Bagger connects to a standard telescopic pool utility pole.

It makes picking up a mess of leaves on the bottom easier than skimming the surface, and uses the same pole. Highly recommended if you have a leaf problem with your pool.

i am about to wash it but curious about other customer reviewer saying about leaking so i did test it, i pour regular tap water close it and wait, i thought.. i didn't close it tight enough but after i did, it is still leaking, not much about one teaspoon water in 5 minute.so i return it
It's a great product. A little heavy but it's worth it. It keeps things warm a long time and is easy to hold. It holds a large can of soup or what ever you want to keep hot. I'm hoping it will withstand it's first drop without breaking. The Stanley Bolt Vacuum Food Jar is worth the price.

Hubby uses this for his coffee. He takes it everywhere. He likes that it doesn't roll around on the floor, and he can pour from it without the lid falling off (you untwist it part-way and then pour). It keeps stuff hot for several days. He can take about 3/4 of a full pot of coffee in it.
It's pretty durable, too. It has a wide handle, so is comfortable for his large hands. It's even being advertising on the freefortruckers.com website.
Hubby uses it on the road for his coffee. He also has the taller one which holds a tad bit more. One full pot of coffee will fill this one and the taller Stanley.
He started using this one for sweet tea and because it has a wide mouth it's easy to put ice in. I ended up getting him another one so he could continue to take 2 Stanleys for his coffee.
They will keep things hot/cold for several days! And because it has a large handle, it's comfortable for hubby's large hands.
