(Me2 handheld - definitely not ready for primetime) 『Note: the only reason I gave this product 1 star is because I can't give it zero (or a negative rating).
I just had the unfortunate experience of trying to get a "me2" handheld to work. I spent an hour on it - an hour I'll never get back - and I've come to the conclusion that this product is just NOT ready for prime time.
1. the markings in the battery case are back to front - if you follow those markings, you get batteries in backwards, and the handheld won't power up
2. it won't connect to a mac
3. when connected to a windows pc running XP, there is no autorun - I eventually hunted for a setup.exe and found one. (This was the hardest step - the instructions around this step are in that odd "translated-from-Chinese" language that's impossible to interpret).
4. I still can't get to connect on-line - I'm prompted to install macromedia shockwave 10.1 from the browser - that won't install automatically - when I install manually, I'm offered Adobe shockwave 11.1. After installing Adobe shockwave 11.1, the browser still says I'm missing a plug-in.
5. I can't download games for the handheld - when I click on that command, I'm told it's "coming soon"
So I can't download games (the handheld comes with just 1 simple game), and I can't play on-line (because of a shockwave plug-in mismatch). And it's taken me an hour to get to this stage - the on-line help and documentation is spotty at best, phone help is only available 9-5 Mon-Fri EST, and the documentation and help (both printed and on-line) are full of spelling mistakes and uninterpretable instructions.
In short this is a shoddy, far-from-complete piece of work, which is absolutely NOT ready for primetime.
Final kicker - I wanted to e-mail this rant to assistance@me2universe.com, but the e-mail was rejected with mailbox unavailable or not local (state 14)

The Classic Controller is perfect for Mario Kart, Contra, Shinobi, Mystical Ninja and all those good 'ol games you used to play when you where an elementary or high school!! (Almost Necessary for Virtual Console Games) 『One major reason for my purchase of the Wii console was for the ability to play Virtual Console games from eras past. I still own an original NES and many of my favorite titles, but it rarely works properly, isn't very cosmetically appealing, etc. etc. I find it a hassle to use. Also, I'd now have access to Genesis and SNES titles, and I own neither system.
While the game selection is limited and the game prices are too expensive, the Wii's Virtual Console download option is still a great thing. Having owned one of the greatest controllers ever made - the Gamecube wireless "Wavebird" - I assumed that controller would suffice for most classic games. But that's really not true.
A good portion of NES and SNES titles almost require this Wii Classic Controller. It handles great for SNES and NES titles, while the Wavebird makes for a mediocre substitute. And the fact that the Classic Controller plugs into the Wiimote makes it virtually wireless. Kind of.
So why 4 stars? It's price point, as with every other Nintendo accessory, is irrationally high. I feel like they should provide two controllers at the $20 retail price. The Wii console and game titles are reasonably priced, but Nintendo gouges you on these accessories.
Also, the connecting wire is poorly placed at the bottom of the controller. It's not exactly a hindrance, but it requires slight adjustment after years of cords propagating out of the top of the controller. Moreover, at this price, you shouldn't really have to deal with any wire.』

-Myself during the first long, hard week playing this game
I got hooked on first-person shooters with Golden Eye on the N64. Then it was the Xbox with Halo. I got really, really good at using dual sticks for hyper-speed and accuracy. In my circle of friends (before the rise of online) I was pretty much unbeatable.
Then I got a Wii. I saw the potential of the Wii controller ... it could become whatever the game called for: lightsaber, sub-machine gun, Master Sword, steering wheel. Everybody who bought a Wii saw it's potential. The sad thing is ... there's been so much shovelware for the system, it's hard to remember that there are any games out there that do the system justice.
This is an explosive example of one of those games.
As my first line suggests, this game is HARD to play, even if you're used to the Wii pointer. Do yourself a favor and DON'T try to play this game without a Zapper. I always thought the Zapper was just a silly piece of gimmicky plastic, but the controls on this game are so sensitive (and they have to be) that trying to use the remote without some support makes the game nearly impossible to play well. It's playable, but you'll be getting killed and muffing shots so often, it's torture.
I've played this game on PS3, and yeah, the graphics are beautiful and immersive there. And I ran through it so fast with the old dual sticks, it wasn't even very fun. I slayed online. It was fun there, sure, but I wondered what it would be like actually holding the M4A1 with grenade launcher, aiming down the sights on the MP5, AK-47, hip-shooting with a Barrett .50 Cal.
What's SO hard about controlling this game is the fact that to even keep the game steady, you have to keep your aiming "dead-zone" big enough to keep your aim from flying all over the place. But then, since the pointer ALSO controls turning left and right and up and down as well as aiming, you have to have enough space out of the dead zone to control turning well enough.
Without having the precision of a stick (to turn fast or slow), turning can be very hazardous and imprecise. And when backhanded players are constantly sneaking up to knife you in the back in multiplayer, quick and precise turns are an absolute must-have.
It honestly takes a week to get it all down and find your control scheme out of the myriad of possibilities. Don't expect to just pick it up and play, even if you're king of the dual sticks. I did, and it humbled me. But it's a whole new game once you get it. In a word, it just feels real. Instead of the graphics being immersive -- because they aren't perfect (there are some occasional framerate issues), it's the controls.
Note: don't use the Zapper control scheme, however -- it sucks. Hitting the top remote buttons with a Zapper is NOT hard. It feels perfectly natural. I don't know why people seem to think putting your remote in a Zapper makes the top buttons inoperable.
Pull the trigger on this one.』
(Wii Controller) 『l will only review my experience with the game play feeling of the Wii controller.
l am a 35 year old male and l love FPS games, but can not stand to play them on consoles due to the lack of keyboard/mouse (which is, in my opinion, the only way to play a FPS game). l got the COD MW Reflex to give the Wii controller a chance(got my very first Wii at Christmas 2009 and had no experience with the control system). l thought the idea of using the controller to point at the screen sounded like a good way to go.
Conclusion: l love it. Yes, it did take some getting used to, but l love it. The rapid left/ right / turn-around movements you are used to with a mouse is almost there (l say almost because l have only logged about 10 hours so far, but l'm getting better each time). l am hooked. Is the Wii better than the PC version game play feeling? l will say l still think FPS' should be played on a PC, but l have to say it is nice to sit down on the couch and play. If you have a Wii and like FPS' this is definitely worth your money, and l found it much easier to go from PC to Wii than l have ever with other consoles. 』

Some of the gestures that you have to use are counter intuitive, and some are just difficult to perform without leaving yourself open to attack. I know you can redefine the controls, but the zapper set of controls cannot be modified as much as you think.

Our family has been using the balance board quite a bit since xmas, but I haven't seen an issue with the battery to use the special charger, we have never used the socks, and the bag only holds the board (why do you need a bag?) The mat is on the thin size, but anyone that is into the Yoga portions will have a mat 3x as good. So the price is right for everything, but you don't need it. The best part is the silicon cover, but you could buy that buy itself.』
