First thing of note is that this wheel is notably small at 8" compared to the Logitech Momo and G25 (11"). That being said, I got use to the feel of it. The Bungie Cord system brings the wheel back to center every time. It auto installed and auto-calibrated itself on my Windows Vista computer, so those of you who have Vista need not wonder if this wheel will work for you. Due to my desk dimensions, I used Velcro Tape to secure the wheel to my desk and the pedals to the bottom of my desk and they are stable. The 8 programmable buttons plus D pad are a God send because the right side upshift lever broke after 25 hours of use, so be prepared to remap up and down shifting to the two top buttons on your wheel when this happens. Once I adjusted to shift re-mapping, everything was fine. Have only had it for 5 days, so we will see if it holds up over the long haul.』 『

It would still have been ok if the quality was any good. But the cover was torn the very first day of usage. It does fit well on the remote but is very cheap and will not last (even a week). I dont recommend it to anyone. Buy a quality cover if you need at all. ( I did not know that Wii remotes come with covers when you buy them, otherwise would have never ordered these). Stay away!!』

In RE 4 you control the character, ie, it's not about just shooting, you come and back in the map to wherever you want to go. You can make money and buy new guns or just upgrade the ones you have by making deal with the merchant. The sounds and music of the game are perfect to create a tension atmosphere. During the game you will face puzzles and bosses to make your journey more fun. After finishing the game new games are unlocked like Separate Ways, Mercenaries and Assignment Ada. I have more that 50 WII games, but this one is definitively my favorite one.』

(Difficult for newbies, great graphics and storyline) 『First thing - this game is really difficult for newbies to the gaming world. As adults with our first game system, we purchased several games in different genres for our new Wii system. We bought one of the other Resident Evil titles and loved it, so this one seemed like a natural choice due to the rave reviews and the first person shooter perspective. I love the graphics here - it's very easy to get sucked into the world and the feel of the game without question. Especially if you have the opportunity to set it up on a Hi-Def large screen television - gorgeous.
However, this is a hard game! It's not a game for beginners unless you just enjoy frustration and shrieking at the tv and starting over again and again and again. The little tricks and subtle ins and outs that long time gamers all pick up as they play game after game after game hours on end seem to be needed and assumed for Resident Evil 4. That in and of itself is not a dealbreaker, just something I wish I had known ahead of time - I would have waited and purchased this game later on. What ended up happening is we got frustrated and stuck at the first village, stopped playing the game for a couple of months, conquered some others, learned some gaming tricks in general and have now come back to Resident Evil 4 with a fresh perspective and attitude and we're enjoying it much more the second time around. So.... not a game a for first timers, but one worth playing when you've gotten your feet wet elsewhere first.

But turn off the lights, buy some new weapons from the merchant, equip yourself with a shotgun and use the fantastic Wii remote cursor to blast those "Zombies" into hell.... and Sokath, my eyes were opened.
Resident Evil 4 is one of the finest examples to demonstrate why the Wii controls are superior. The controls are flawless. You have the cursor and you have a nice motion to reload, and the nunchuk of course to move about. The game's graphics, voice acting (lots of it) and story are great.
Play it. Available on your Wii. Warning: May hurt your marriage/other stuff and entire life may be ruined because you'll be drawn to play it through - you're supposed to play this at night only ;)

(Initial thoughts...) 『I'm definitely more used to Xbox/PS controls, so one of the initial problems I'm having is not being able to strafe. One of my cousins has this game, and I'd watched him play and thought it looked amazing. Sadly, I generally am pretty sucky with most video games, so all learning curves are a bit tough - this one is more of a brick wall than Dead Rising, which as far as I'm aware is -really- saying something. I think this'll be a fun game if I ever get past the initial village fight. (Good product, just make sure your placement will not hinder the experience.) 『I purchased the Nyko wireless sensor bar for the Wii with some hesitation at first. I was not sure that since it was an aftermarket product that it would work as effectively as the original sensor bar that comes with the Wii. I have had it for about a month now and I can tell you without question that the Nyko wireless sensor bar works identically to the original one. I think there is a common misconception that the sensor bar is what transmits the signal from your Wii remote to the Wii console, this is however not the case. The Wii remote itself is what transmits the signal to the Wii console, the "sensor" bar acts like a point of reference for the Wii remote to locate its position, which it then transmits to the console. Make sure though that if you plan to purchase this product and place it on TOP of you TV that it is easy to reach. I have a wall-mounted flat screen TV that the sensor bar sits on top of. Because this bar is battery powered, I have to reach the top of it to turn it on and off. I can barely reach it, so at first it was frustrating, but the wireless look and the performance has made it well worth it.
The wireless sensor bar has an optional timer feature that when set to the 1-hour or 2-hour position, will turn off the sensor bar for you should you forget to yourself and leave the room. While this is great for battery life, should you be prone to leaving things on, it can also be an annoyance. That is because the sensor bar will beep for 5 minutes as a warning that it is preparing to power down, at which point you must push the power button once to reset the timer. Although it has been somewhat of a bother to me, this is mostly because the sensor bar is hard for me to reach. Overall, not a big deal though. Also something to keep in mind about possibly mounting it on the top of a TV that is wall mounted is, can your wife reach it? Mine cannot, so again, slight annoyance for her to turn on and off.
So overall it is a good product, but only really needed if you insist on the wireless look. If the current wire from the original sensor bar is already out of sight, or is not a bother, then this may just be a way to waste money on batteries.
Side note: If your wireless Wii remote has issues where it seems like it is not responding properly, keep in mind that some lights can alter how it works, particularly a X-mas tree. If you have a X-mas tree plugged in and lit up, your remote will not respond properly all the time because it will confuse the tree lights with the sensor bar.』

Hardly noticeable. Another reviewer suggested stacking it with the stock Wii sensor bar, but I can't say it worked for me. It works, I don't know about 25 feet like the packaging says though. If you are looking for a wireless sensor bar, I suppose this will work. If your looking for a sensor bar to expand your Wii's remote length, I don't know.
I'll probably keep it around in case something happens to my stock Wii sensor, or I decide to mount my TV to the wall.

(Improved AI and options, awful controls) 『I intially intended to just rent this game to try it out. However, when I got to the store and discovered it wasn't available to rent, I broke down and bought it. ((COLOSSAL MISTAKE))!!!!
The Wii already has an ugly history in hockey games starting with NHL2K9. The largest, completely unforgiveable flaw was its franchise mode which was completely USELESS. At some point during a franchise the game would inevitably lock up never allowing the player to be able to continue and force the player to start over. The exclusion of online options (not even roster updates) was also a huge downside. There were many little glitches within the game, most of which a player could live with though. The worst were the officials who CONSTANTLY got in the way, spoiling breakaways and odd man rushes and blocking passes which usually resulted in costly turnovers. Never before NHL2K9 have I botched a play in a hockey video game because I ran into the ref.
Aside from those annoyances, the controls in NHL2K9 were fantastic once I got the hang of using the Wii's remote and nunchuk. When things went right in a game, the ease of the controls nearly nullified all the problems the game was riddled with.
THE CONTROLS FOR NHL2K10 ARE POORLY PLANNED IN SUCH A RIDICULOUS WAY that I honestly question whether or not this game was even tested before it was released. And you can't even change the controls! In the previous game, I used to be able to press the d-pad in any direction with the puck to protect it and keep it out of defenders' reach. NOW I have to hold the down button and swing the remote in either direction to control the puck which is nearly COMPLETELY UNRESPONSIVE to my movements. This means every time I try to play the puck in the corner or battle for posession along the boards I lose the puck. Also without the puck (in 2K9) I could aim the d-pad in the direction I wanted to poke check. Now I have to thrust the remote forward or press the B button. My poke checks are comletely aimless now and usually I end up tripping my opponent and getting a penalty called. Oh yeah, by the way, the OFFICIALS STILL GET IN THE WAY DAMN IT.
Now I have to thrust both the nunchuk and the remote to perform a check. It's an odd movement and many times the game registers it as a poke check which again usually trips the opponent and puts me on the penalty kill. This motion also causes me to lose track of where my remote is aimed making me slower to execute moves which is not good in a fast paced sports game. In the previous game all I had to do was shake the nunchuk. With the pointer passing option on I could even have a player lined up to pass to immediately after a hit when I had taken posession of the puck. That is no longer the case.
After trying this game out for a couple days I was convinced the experience must be better with the Wii Motionplus attachment, so I went out and bought it. WRONG. The Motionplus actually hinders the game even further, and it is an entirely worthless $20 investment if purchased for this game alone. Now, with the motionplus, I have to hold down the B button and swing back and forth for EVERY shot I take. oh, great. Thank you for making me press even more buttons while I'm only attempting to tip a loose puck on net. Even worse, half the time when I wind up a shot and release my player just stands there with the puck still on his stick. That really makes breakaways and odd man rushes fun.
The pointer passing was one of my favorite features for NHL2K9 and it's almost entirely flawed in NHL2K10. I would estimate 40% of my passes go in the complete opposite direction than I intended and in most cases the puck goes directly to the end of the opponent's stick.
In the tutorial mode I practiced a few of the 1 on 1 superstar dekes against the goalie and they looked kinda neat. Then I tried them in game. The end result was my Wii remote and nunchuk on the floor and my face in my hands. The thing is that the moves are totally random and usually not even appropriate for the situation. When I was hoping for a shot, there was no shot. When I was hoping to just get around a defender, my player shot the puck into the defender. That all brings me to the point I've been trying to make for years. UNPREDICTABLE "SUPERSTAR" MOVES ARE STUPID. Why are they in every sports game now days? When they work, they look marvelous, but they rarely work. It's a complete gamble every time I hit the button.
The only thing I can comment positively on in NHL2K10 is the vastly improved AI. The opposite team deploys very tight and intelligent pressure in the defensive, offensive, and neutral zones. Also, I've noticed my teamates making a better effort to find open lanes on offense. This aspect of the game makes it feel much more similar to a real NHL game. It's just unfortunate that none of this amounts to jack considering the controls ruin any chance of actually enjoying the challenge.
The biggest and proudest overhaul of NHL2K10 is its online support. Congratulations, 2K Wii hockey. You've finally become a big boy just like EVERY other sports game out in today's market. Big deal, really. I was mainly just excited for the roster updates. Okay, I downloaded the most recent one and I can see that I did it correctly because now Darryl Sydor is finally on the Blues roster and Martin Biron is on the Islanders roster. But wait, WHY HAVE I NOTICED GUILLAUME LATENDRESSE IS STILL ON THE CANADIENS ROSTER? He got traded to the Wild in November. Two months later 2K still does not have a roster update? What's the use in having online update support if it's not even up-to-date?
Basically, with 2K10, they've addressed SOME of the problems 2K9 while some how managing to put out an even worse product. Truth be told, had they not fussed at all with the controls, this would be a fantastic game. However, they've made a horrible, horrible mistake and this game is simply not fun to play.
If you're stuck with just a Wii and you really want to play some video hockey, your only real option is to buy the NHL2K9 game. You'll save a few bucks and be more satisfied with the experience, honestly. If you search NHL2K9 Franchise Lock Up on Google you can find a page that gives tips on how to get around the glitch and you should be able to play through your franchise without freezing up and having to start over.』

Yes, it's a little complicated to learn the controls, but the more you play it, the more automatic your reactions become. I think it's worth having the "complicated" controls to have the sophisticated gameplay.
