Lord of the Rings, the `Gone with the Wind' of the sci-fi fantasy film. The name of these 3 legendary novels has weaved itself deeply into our modern day culture. Whether you read `The Hobbit' in grade school or have read the Tolkien lore time and time again there is no doubt that this original saga is a treasure of that last century.

Turning this epic novel saga into a full length feature film was something that probably every major name in directing wanted to do. Yet, Lord of the Rings may be the most difficult film saga to be created. The story is abundant with characters of all kinds. The plot is rich with detail and the pages of the book themselves describe everything from the way a person walks to a town or landscape down to the last grain of soil. So it was Peter Jackson who decided to rise up and take the task of creating this film. In a time where film making technology has reached a golden age it was time not just to make one film but make a trilogy. It was decided not to film each piece at a time but rather film all three simultaneously and it was something that Mr. Jackson could not accomplish alone. There is a long list of writers, artists, actors editors, and yes millions of fans that lead to the completion of this project. The Lord of the Rings can be summed up in one word. That word is PERFECT.

I have seen a great many films in my life and my favorites would have to be the saga pieces. This saga is a mind blowing masterpiece and getting Oscar for best picture in 2003 sealed its page in the book of fantastic films. I will not review each film individually because they are not meant to be seen individually. The cast is brilliant and the fact that not a single actor was singled out for an individual performance only made it better. The creation of these films was a team effort. Yes there are a few major plot points removed from these films and there are some things that were changed around. I feel as a person who has read the novels and seen the films, feel that these changes were for the best. The books themselves have some dead spots that could be done without and there are characters that really have no place in the story as a whole, but it was very admirable of Jackson to pay homage to the fan favorite Tom Bombadil in the extended edition of `The Two Towers'. The extended editions of these films only make them better as they do make them lengthier. Jackson and the crew really wanted to make these films special so once they did their job in the theaters they called the cast and crew back to add new scenes and extend old ones to make the films truer to the story and enhance the development of the characters. The score done beautifully by Howard Shore is also extended and you can even purchase extended edition soundtracks. The special effects played a major role in this film and they worked the creatures looked extremely lifelike especially Gollum. By using a brand new kind of CGI technology called motion capture, Andy Sirkis was transformed into the somber, mysterious creature that LOTR fans love. The battle sequences in breathtaking and so intense there were moments that kept me on the edge of my seat. The ability to make actors like Elijah Wood and John Rys-Davis look like they were pint size compared to a towering Orlando Bloom or Ian McKellen was done flawlessly. The make-up on all the cast members be it Orc or Elf really brought the Tolkien world off the pages and into reality. Still, I feel that what truly made this film beautiful was the location. New Zealand is a lost world most of the country still untouched by industry. The land still looks like something out of a fairy tale. Through computers and sets, The Shire, Minas Tirith, Rivendell and all the other major cities were brought to life exactly as they are described in the novels.

Even if you are not a fan, I would still suggest seeing these three films. It has nothing to do with the fact that they are fantasy or anything to that extent. It's just because this cinematic marvel goes up there with films such as Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, and Lawrence of Arabia to the more modern day greats like Dances With Wolves and Braveheart. There probably will come a day where a film graces the big screen with this degree of grandeur, but I am quite sure it will be a long time until then.

This match is okay. Of course some highflying moves from morrison. This match really shouldn't have been on the card. But over all good match. Sad thing is the miz won with some dirty tricks(of course). Also, raw leading the way 1/0

Terrible match here. this six diva match stunk. when i watched the highlights of this match, i almost cried. This match shouldn't have been on the card. But, with the smackdown team winning, they evened up the score to 1/1.

Fatal four way for the world heavyweight championship
Undertaker(C)vs. batista vs. rey mysterio vs. cm punk
This match is pretty good. Some nice moves by mysterio and punk. But i think batista and undertaker had the best battle with each other during the match. I thought batista was going to become to become world heavyweight champion when he batista bombed taker. but mysterio broke it up. Also, great moment when batista got tombstoned for taker to pick up the win.
match rating:8/10

I think the after math of this match went above the PG rating when batista said, "im going to rip your head off" Then beat the heck out of rey.

7-0n-7 battle of the brands tag team match
team raw vs. team smackdown
This match is definatly worth watching. Great tag team matchup here. This match was a finisher fest. Pretty much everybody got their finisher. Great moment in the match when michaels got dominated for a while and then got the tag to the game. Once the game got in, he cleared the house. Sucky ending when kingston hit the trouble in paradise, hart dinesty broke it up, and when he was on the top rope, big show hit the chokeslam and knocked out the game and jericho got the pin for smackdown to be the better show than raw.

60 minutes anything goes iorn man match-wwe championship(if cena loses, he must leave raw forever)
John Cena vs. Randy Orton(C)
This match is the best and most brutal iorn man match i have ever seen. This has everything. Pyro, tables, chairs, steps, and brutality. Cena started off good by winning the first fall just less than four minuets in the match. Once the match went outside the ring, it got brutal. When cena and orton went up around the stage area, cena got thrown into the lights and they went off on him. Then orton got the pin. Orton turned and started playing with the pyro and then he put cena on the stage and let the pyro go off on him. When cena got more strength, he gave orton a atitude adjustment through the announce table. Once he got the pin, he waited the thirty seconds and got the pin again. Then once it got evened up again, cena got orton in the stf for about 49 seconds until he tapped out with 4 seconds left in the match. Now, the new wwe champion and still on raw, John cena.
match rating:10/10

This was a pretty solid ppv. I wish that batista wouldn't have beat the crap out of mysterio. I would also suggest this to your wwe collection.』

(Pay Per View Should Have Been Called WWE RIPOFF)
『A pay per view comes to Pittsburgh, PA for the first time in two years and the fans are offered FIVE matches? Thanks, Vince! Of course the reason for the lack of matches is another Cena vs Orton borefest in a one hour ironman match. They can't have an entertaining match for twenty minutes let alone an hour. Most hour matches are boring with lots of rest holds...so, Vince McMahon thinks it's a good idea to put these two in one? Even Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels couldn't make the concept work in the modern era of wrestling.
The seven on seven match? What a mess. Too many people involved just so they can get a paycheck. It might have worked if they did it Survival Series style and made it an elimination match...but, ONE pinfall amongst 14 wrestlers? Didn't work. Please don't try it again.
Miz vs Morrison...decent. Something didn't quite put this into the great match category. They could have been a little off or were told to hold back so the main events didn't look bad in comparison.
Fatal Fourway...another case of too many people in an already crowded card of gimmick matches. I did like how they did a heel turn on a pay per view AFTER the match instead of during.
Divas Tag Team...well, they looked nice.

My suggestion...skip it and find a copy of AWA Wrestlerock or The Heroes Of Wrestling PPV where Jake the Snake showed up drunk. Speaking of those two ppvs...if anybody knows where to find decent copies of them, let me know!

One last thing...note to TNA or Ring Of Honor...PLEASE COME TO THE PITTSBURGH AREA SOON AND SAVE US FROM THE WWE!!!

(I Hope They Bring This One Back)
『Even though I think the WWE is merely getting away with their silly PPV concepts so far, "Bragging Rights" is a success. The WWE hasn't done much brand-vs-brand action in quite some time, so it's nice to see them bring it back in a "Less Is More" fashion. Throw in a couple of championship main events, and we've got a good one here:

1) The Miz (United States champion - RAW) v.
John Morrison (Intercontinental champion - SmackDown)
---I'm glad WWE gave this opener a video package, because I think this was somewhat of a curiosity. After all, these two were one of the most successful tag teams in the past few years, and they never got the traditional "Tag Team Breakup Rivalry". I'm glad they waited, because Miz&Morrison have grown into their new characters, and enhanced their in-ring abilities in the waiting months. The best word to describe this curtain jerker is "FAST!" These guys just keep going, and going, and going. Move after move. Counter after counter. Near fall after near fall. One scary-looking high-risk attempt gone bad after another. I suppose you could fault Miz&Morrison for not telling a story in the ring, but frankly I'm so dizzy after watching them going full speed for 13 minutes that I don't care. This is an exciting way to start "Bragging Rights 2009", which will be par for the course tonight.

v. Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim,&Melina (Divas champion - RAW)
---Look, as much as I think ladies' matches are underappreciated, I confess that 2009 hasn't been a good year overall for this division. But I recommend this breezy contest because like the opener, it keeps a fast pace, and just doesn't slow down. This also avoids obvious botches or weak athleticism that plagues many of the WWE's Diva matches. The SmackDown crew impressed me with their dominance, while the RAW ladies were agile enough to hang in their with their opponents. Gail Kim started things off, Kelly Kelly hung in their pretty well, and Melina was the hot-tag closer. I actually wish this tag contest went longer, but "short-n-sweet" is still sweet.

3) World Heavyweight Championship
Batista v. Rey Mysterio v. CM Punk v. The Undertaker (champion)
---My feelings on this Fatal Fourway are similar to the ones I had with the recent triple threat title matches at "WrestleMania". The action is fast-paced. The wrestlers are talented. The storyline is at least interesting. The match is never boring. And...it's all too short. My reaction to this particular match might not make much sense: I guessed that this one was gonna be short since CM Punk and Taker's recent encounters have barely lasted 10 minutes, and indeed this contest was the same. However, from bell to bell, all four men didn't let the action slow down. Everyone was constantly going for the quick pinfall victories, and everyone got to show their signature moves. Plus, the aftermath is a twist that I'm eager to see play out. I'm guessing most fans didn't buy this PPV to see this match anyway. Honestly, I didn't expect much, either. But I thoroughly enjoyed it, and hope that the title picture on "SmackDown" doesn't continue to diminish.

---I think there are two aspects to explore here:
First, is the concept. Brand competition is always a fun idea, even if it's meaningless. In no way do I believe that SmackDown is going to get a huge boost of anything from their victory, even though I believe it's a far superior show at this time. I actually didn't mind ECW being absent from this match; I've accepted that it's a training ground with a third-rate status.
Secondly, there's the 14-Man Tag Team match itself. Like most brand-vs-brand showdowns, I like this all-star mashup, but don't love it. I like seeing the unusual pairings of wrestlers, like Finlay/HBK or Kofi/Jericho. It was also nice to see a few rivalries get briefly revisited, like Matt/Swagger, or even Show/Kane. Credit must also go to the three commentators for sticking to their brand loyalties without interrupting each other. However, this contest could've been much more than it was. It was only 14 minutes for starters, when I think most of us wanted an epic confrontation. I was also disappointed to see most wrestlers fall into their usual roles. HBK got beat up a lot, while HHH got the dominant hot tag. Kane, Big Show,&Mark Henry made brief appearances, and nothing more. The Hart Dynasty didn't get to show off their in-ring excellence very much (Tyson Kidd barely got any offense in, period).
Overall, this is a good match, well worth your time&money. But there's a lot of room for improvement.

5) "Anything Goes" Iron Man Match - WWE Championship
Randy Orton (WWE champion) v.
John Cena (Leaves RAW If Defeated)
---I'll skip the analysis over whether Cena would actually lose this match. I give credit to WWE and to the Pittsburgh fans for making it seem like a possibility. Anyway, something very strange happened in the weeks leading up to this. You see, I used to hate Cena/Orton matches from their Eddie Guerrero Tribute throwaway, to their thankfully-interrupted 2007 program. Their 2008 follow-ups were watchable, but nothing special. In 2009, however, Cena&Orton have proven time after time that they're worth the spotlight that they're under. I somehow knew their 4th&final PPV showdown of the year would be worthwhile. In my opinion, my faith has been justified.
For 60 minutes, John Cena&Randy Orton delivered. What's best about this match is actually the storytelling. Cena gets busted open (on accident), and actually uses it to his character for a while. It makes him even tougher, Orton even viler, and the situation even more desperate. There's also an unusual but neat moment when Orton tries to set off the stage pyro on Cena!!! Even some of the early quick pinfalls&submissions make perfect sense. The very 1st fall is when Cena traps Orton in the STF, and Orton taps almost before it's even locked.
The Iron Man Match is filled with little touches like these.
The "Anything Goes" stipulation is used about as well as it can be in WWE's PG-programming. Aside from the medics cleaning up Cena's bleeding, the match lived up to its tagline.
Where the match goes awry is in the 30-45 minute mark. Orton endlessly stomps and punches away at an exhausted Cena, and it starts to feel like Deja Vu all over again. I understand Orton's Viper character is a slow, methodical sadist. I understand that Cena is a tough underdog whose never-say-die attitude is what makes him marketable and engaging. But those 15 minutes clearly became stalling time.
Don't let that last paragraph worry you. Frankly, going 60 minutes is something most wrestlers can't even do. And most of us can't even make it in the indy professional wrestling circuit, let alone WWE. These comments are just criticisms from someone who's watched too much WWE, and who puts a premium on matches that keep the pace up. The bottom line is that John Cena and Randy Orton have had a strong rivalry in 2009, and the Iron Man Match is an excellent finale.

"Bragging Rights 2009" is one of the best PPVs of the year. It's a solid 3 hours from start to finish. I hope WWE expands on this concept next year, and brings ECW along with them. But for now, I'll look at this as a taste of what "Survivor Series" is going to be, and a fun way to see RAW&SmackDown mix it up, with the two brands putting on their own solid title bouts.

(WWE Bragging Rights 2009)
『SmackDown! vs. Raw Match: John Morrison (SmackDown!) vs. The Miz (Raw)
This match was awesome, but they really botched it with the ending. Miz tried to avoid fighting Morrison at first, but Morrison then hit a series of offensive maneuvers followed by the standing Shooting Star Press for a near count. Miz fought back with power moves, and then it erupted into a back-and-forth battle with both men dodging each other's moves. Miz hit his signature offense and a knee on the outside while Morrison was on the apron, but couldn't put Morrison away. Morrison hit a plancha to the outside and laid Miz out, and then hit a springboard superkick! Morrison tried to follow up with the Starship Pain, but Miz got his knees up. Miz then went for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Morrison countered and got Miz on the ground again. Morrison went for the Starship Pain, but Miz yanked him off the top and pinned him. Like I said, bad ending. Winner: The Miz. Match Rating: 4/5

Raw Divas (Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, and Melina) vs. SmackDown! Divas (Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool, and Natalya)
Natalya made the match. She was teamed up on at first by the Raw team, with Melina hitting some especially unique moves on Bret Hart's niece. Michelle McCool made the save for Natalya and started fighting back with some stiff fighting, and Kelly Kelly hit an awesome tilt-a-whirl headscissors on her. Phoenix tagged herself in and started working over Gail Kim, and then there was chaos as all the other divas started brawling. Phoenix hit her finishing move on Kim to win the match for her team, chalking up one point for SmackDown!. Match Rating: 4/5

Fatal 4-Way World Heavyweight Championship Match: The Undertaker (Champion) vs. Batista vs. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
Very exciting and fast-paced match, though it could have stood to be a little longer. Everyone hit their signature moves on each other. CM Punk ate a Last Ride, but he hit the Go To Sleep on Mysterio. Undertaker suffered the Batista Bomb, but he Chokeslammed Batista. Mysterio and Batista double-teamed Undertaker. Mysterio hit a 619, which led him right into a Spinebuster from Batista! Batista and Rey's relationship started to suffer as they fought over who could pin Undertaker, but Undertaker responded by taking them out. Undertaker and Batista had a deul, though CM Punk and Mysterio both tried to interfere. Mysterio hit a Seated Senton on Punk on the outside off the apron, and then went for a flying hurracanrana on Undertaker off the top ropes, but Undertaker countered and went for the Last Ride. Batista hit the Spear on Undertaker after that. Batista and Mysterio started to argue, and Batista threw his friend out of the ring. Punk tried to get involved in the match again, but he was tossed out of the ring by Undertaker. Mysterio came back into the ring, but he was thrown out and onto CM Punk by Batista, becoming an inadvertent Seated Senton on Punk! Batista turned around and Undertaker hit a Tombstone Piledriver to seal the victory. Hard hitting and exciting as hell. Great match. Winner: The Undertaker. Match Rating: 5/5

Team SmackDown! (Chris Jericho, D.H. Smith, Finlay, Kane, Matt Hardy, R-Truth, and Tyson Kidd) vs. Team Raw (Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Mark Henry, Shawn Michaels, The Big Show, and Triple H)
A large part of the beginning of the match was rather slow. Everyone had their ring time, but it was just basic moves that were back and forth. This match was bloated, to put it bluntly, and it would have worked out much better if it was an elimination-style match. Shawn Michaels was isolated by Team SmackDown!, but he hit a Sweet Chin Music on Finlay. He almost made the tag to Triple H, but Tyson Kidd and D.H. Smith started double-teaming Michaels. Michaels fought back and finally made the tag to Triple H, who proceeded to clean house. Triple H hit a Spinebuster on D.H. Smith, followed by a Spinebuster on Tyson Kidd on TOP of Smith, followed by a Spinebuster on Finlay on TOP of the both of them! All hell started to break loose shortly thereafter, with R-Truth trying for a flying crossbody onto Mark Henry on the outside, only to have Henry catch him. Matt Hardy came off the top ropes for a clothesline on Henry to knock the big man down on the outside. D.H. Smith and Tyson Kidd brawled with Cody Rhodes on the outside, and Shawn Michaels tried to recover from his beatdown earlier. Jack Swagger hit the Gutwrench Powerbomb on Finlay, but he was engulfed in the brawl between Smith, Rhodes, and Kidd. In the ring, Jericho went for the Lionsault on Triple H, but Triple H rolled out of the way and tagged in Kofi Kingston. Kingston went for the Boom Drop, but Jericho tried to counter into the Walls of Jericho. Kingston countered and then hit the Trouble in Paradise, but the count was broken up by Kane, who delivered a Chokeslam to Triple H. Big Show ran into the ring and hit the Spear on Kane, and then he instructed Kofi to go to the top rope. Kofi did so, but then Big Show suddenly turned on Kofi and his team by hitting a Chokeslam! A confused Triple H started to enter the ring to confront Big Show, but he was met with a Knockout Punch that left his body limp. Jericho covered Kingston for the victory. Good idea, just not implemented as well as it could have, and should have been. Winners: Team SmackDown!. Match Rating: 4/5

Special Stipulations 60-Minute Iron Man WWE Championship Match: Randy Orton (Champion) vs. John Cena
This will go down as one of the best matches of all time. Usually when John Cena claims one of his matches will be like this, he's generally wrong, but this match was simply awesome. It reminded me of the kind of match we used to see in the Attitude Era. The special stipulations were that this would be the last match between Orton and Cena, and if Cena lost, he would have to leave Monday Night Raw. Orton started off by stomping on Cena, but Cena tripped him out of nowhere and applied the STF! Orton quickly tapped out to avoid being further damaged, giving Cena one point. There was a 30 second rest period in between falls, and the men used their first rest period to stare each other down. The fight spilled to the outside, and Orton smacked Cena in the head with a television monitor. Orton rolled Cena into the ring and grabbed a microphone, which smashed across Cena's head, making Cena bleed! Orton tried to follow up on his assault, but Cena hit a flurry of offense, including his back suplexes and spinning back suplex/powerbomb move. Cena then went to the top rope and hit a Fameasser off the top! Cena then went for the Five-Knuckle Shuffle, but Orton jumped to his feet and hit an RKO out of nowhere! Orton pinned Cena and earned his first point. The score was now Orton: 1 and Cena: 1. Orton started to wear Cena down with strikes and submissions, but Cena got him up for the Attitude Adjustment! Cena did hit the Attitude Adjustment, but Orton hit an RKO simultaneously! Their arms draped over one another lifelessly, and they both were awarded the point! The score was tied at two at this point in time. Cena recovered first and went to the top rope, but Orton jumped to his feet and tried for a superplex. Cena countered into a SUPER Attitude Adjustment to put himself in the lead with three points!!! During the rest period though, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase of Legacy ran down to the ring! They started to attack Cena while Orton rested, and DiBiase hit Dream Street on Cena! Kofi Kingston ran down to the ring with a steel chair and chased Legacy away, but Orton still managed to tie the points because of DiBiase's assistance. The fight spilled to the outside, but Cena regained the advantage on Orton and they started brawling near the stage. Orton fought back by slamming Cena's head on the pyro controls, causing some of the fireworks to go off! Orton was startled by the fireworks, but that didn't stop him from throwing Cena through part of the Bragging Rights lighting fixtures and earning another point, putting himself in the lead with four points! Orton then had an idea. He dragged Cena on top of the set and placed him...right where the pyro goes off! Orton smacked Cena in the back with a steel chair and then returned to the controls. The referee and the pyro technician tried to talk him out of it, but Orton started pressing the buttons anyway! Nothing happened because the techie turned the pyro off, but Orton slammed down on all the buttons at once, causing a large firework explosion, but thankfully Cena rolled out of the way just in the nick of time. A frustrated Orton dragged Cena back into the ring and started his stomping assault. Out of nowhere, Cena rolled Orton up in a small package to tie the score yet again! A frustrated Orton started beating on the injured Cena even more violently, throwing him into the steel ring steps and then hitting his second-story DDT to Cena from the ring apron onto the floor! This gave Orton another point, which put him in the lead again! Orton threw the steel steps at Cena and smashed a chair across his arm, which was wrapped around the steel ring post. Cena started to fight back though, and he grabbed the steel steps next and rammed Orton's head with them! Cena then set up the steel steps next to the announce table. Cena then THREW Orton THROUGH the freaking security barricade!!! Cena picked Orton up and...hit the Attitude Adjustment on Orton off the steps and through the announce table!!! This gave Cena the next point, once again tying the score at five points for either man. An angry Cena then set up a table in the ring during the rest period. He dragged Orton into the ring and set him up on the table and then went to the top rope. Cena went for a flying leg drop, but Orton rolled off the table, and Cena crashed through it!!! Orton couldn't capitalize though because he was still injured from being thrown through the announce table and the security barricade, but he went for the RKO as they both got to their feet. Cena countered, but then Orton countered the Attitude Adjustment. Cena hit a flying shoulder block on Orton, but when he went for a second one, Orton ducked and Cena knocked down the referee! Cena turned around and ate an RKO, but there was no referee to make the count! A new referee ran down to the ring, but Cena kicked out at two! An annoyed Orton pushed down the new referee and then set Cena up for the Concussion Punt! Cena moved out of the way just in time and then locked in the STF!!! Orton desperately tried to escape the STF, but as the original referee recovered, Orton had no choice but to tap out with three seconds on the clock remaining, giving the win to John Cena with six points over Orton's five. And thus, the rivalry ends. Winner: John Cena. Match Rating: 5/5

OVERALL EVENT
A pretty good pay-per-view. The whole "Bragging Rights" gimmick didn't even make it good. Sure, Triple H's jokes backstage and the promos were all very nice, but really the two championship matches were the stars. Batista's sudden betrayal and vicious attack on Rey Mysterio at the end of the Fatal-4-Way was unexpected, and the Randy Orton/Cena bout was absolutely classic. Bragging Rights could have been better, but it was still a great show and I hope to see the pay-per-view return next year.』

『Overall, while the concept of smackdown vs raw was kind of stupid, this was a good ppv effort. I am really tired of cena/orton, but the 60 min. iron man match was a good close to their rivalry. Thanks for reading!

United States Champion The Miz vs. Intercontinental Champion John Morrison
Overall, this was a pretty decent opening contest. Some good fast paced moves and nice counters. The crowd was into this match, with the boo-yay chants on punches. A cool spot when morrison went for a starship pain, but miz moved and morrison did a corkscrew dive on him. In the end, morrison went for another starship pain, but miz swept his legs and got the quick pin for a victory. I would of liked to see these two work a little better of a match, but this was good for what it was worth. Match Rating:3.5/5

3 on 3 Divas Tag Team Match
Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown
The raw team consisted of gail kim, melina, and kelly. The smackdown team consisted of beth phoenix, michelle mccool, and natalya, so it was pretty ovious who was going to win. This was better than i expected it to be, but nothing great here. Beth phoenix got the pin for her team. Pretty ovious that the smackdown divas were going to go over. Match Rating:2.5/5

Fatal 4 Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Undertaker vs. Batista vs. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
This was kind of a short match, but it was good for the time it was given. Undertaker has to defend in short matches because of his rough shape, but he did a nice job. In the early moments, batista was chasing punk on the outside and he ran into a clothesline from taker. Rey and batista were double teaming taker on numerous occasions, including when taker tried to give a last ride to mysterio, batista got a spear and then they executed a 619/spinebuster combination. A few false finishes, where punk got the gts on rey and taker locked in hell's gate on batista. The ending came where batista threw rey on the outside onto punk, but when batista turned around he got a tombstone from the deadman. I was pleasently suprised that undertaker retained. Match Rating:4/5

The 4 way had little hype because of the 7 on 7 and orton/cena match, so batista turned heel after the matchup and attacked rey. Interesting to see where wwe is going with that.

7 on 7 Tag Team Match
Team Raw (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Cody Rhodes, Big Show, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, and Mark Henry) vs. Team Smackdown (Chris Jericho, Kane, R-Truth, Matt Hardy, Finlay, and The Hart Dynasty)
Stay with me here because this is a long recap. Hardy lands the first good move of the match by hitting the Side Effect on Michaels. Hardy brings in Finlay and he and Michaels hit heads. They use each other to get up and HBK hits Sweet Chin Music on Finlay, but Smith tags himself in while Finlay was going down and Kidd comes in and they hit the Hart Attack, but Michaels kicks out. Smith works Michaels for a minute and tags in Jericho. Smackdown works on Michaels for awhile but Triple H gets the tag and dispatches of Kidd, Smith and Finlay and spinebusts each of them on top of each other. His run ends when Kane comes in and chokeslams him. Kidd rolls over for a pin but Triple H kicks out at two. Kidd tags Jericho, who hits a running bulldog but misses the Lionsault. Triple H tags in Kingston, who springboards into the ring and runs wild. He goes for the Boom Drop but Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho but Kingston rolls him up for a near fall. Off the ropes and Kingston hits Trouble in Paradise but the Hart Dynasty makes the save. Then it breaks down in a big way. In the end, big show turned on team raw, punching kingston and hhh and Y2J got the pin on kofi for smackdown to earn bragging rights. A dx/jerishow fued is on the horizon. Match Rating:3.75/5

60 Minute, Anything Goes Iron Man Match for the WWE Championship
Randy Orton vs. John Cena
As you all know, if cena lost he would have to leave raw. Cena scored the first fall of the 60 mins. by making orton tap to the stf. Orton scored the second fall quickly after, countering cena's 5 knuckle shuffle into an rko. Orton hit cena with a t.v. camera, but cena still got up, so orton then struck with a microphone. Cena started to bleed, so of course, the trainers came out to clean the blood. The next fall's ending was creative, because cena got the attitude ajustment and orton got an rko at the same time. Both men pinned each other at the same time so the match is tied at 2-2. Soon after, cena got an attitude ajustment from the top and pinned orton. Later, legacy got involved to help orton tie it up 3-3. Kofi came out because of what happened earlier and chased legacy away with a chair. Both men fought back and forth and then orton set off the pyro and it hit cena! Some more back and forth action throughout, with each man pulling out moves to get the pin. In the end, cena reversed orton's punt into the stf and orton tapped out. Cena wins the wwe title and remains on raw. Overall, they put on a really good effort. Match Rating:4.5/5

Overall, a good ppv and a nice setup to survivor series. A good 7 on 7 tag and good efforts from the world title 4 way and the wwe title iron man match.

『This movie started off slow, but built up into a movie our family will always remember. I do not know why it did not have far better reviews? Perhaps because it had to do with "Girls" basketball. That being said, once you get past that, it is a great movie and I highly reccommend it.

『Looked at and tried other models but finally settled on this one. I've read different opinions on how long the unit will run on a full tank of water. For me, I need to fill it every night. 'Course it's very dry here in New Mexico and running the heat only makes it worse. The unit does a good job of putting out moisture.

Likes: I can have cold or warm mist. I like the mist "spout" that I can move to aim at different parts of the room. It's a bit pricey but it works. My throat doesn't get dry during the night. My skin is not as dry. I think it has also helped with my recovery from pneumonia.

Dislikes: It's kind of a pain to fill the reservoir. Why can't they put a cap on the TOP of the tank instead of the BOTTOM? Not a show stopper but it'd be easier to handle if I didn't have to flip it over after filling. Setting the desired humidity is a joke. Don't expect the unit to run based on the humidity level you set on the unit. From the reviews I've read, sounds like this is a standard complaint. I really don't care that it doesn't work perfectly. I go by "sight" on how much mist I want to come out of the unit. It only took a couple nights to get it set to "my" comfort level. I do get some white powder residue in the room. Not bad but it's there. We have hard water. I could use distilled but 3.5 gallons a day would get expensive and be a pain. I'll just wipe away the powder. The filter is supposed to prevent this... for me, it doesn't.

Do your research and buy what you need. There's a bunch of humidifiers out there. Determine why you need one and what options you want... it should narrow your choices down significantly. For me, I narrowed it down to the AOS 7135 and the Venta VS 207. Since Venta 207 has been discontinued, the AOS 7135 won.』

(This thing is so quiet!)
『This humidifier works extremely well. More than anything I wanted a quiet humidifier, and wow is it ever. It is easily worth the money for how silent it is. In order to hear it run, I would have to be standing right beside it, and even then it is very quiet. Our home is very open, so we did not want a loud machine as it would affect our dining room, kitchen, and living room.

We are using it for an area of about 500 square feet and it handles this are well. I should note that we haven't yet reached our coldest months where the house would usually be much more dry, but this machine seems very capable.』

(happy but a little unhappy)
『I really, really like the Air-O-Swiss humidifier. It has solved some of the problems that we were having with dry air. We only run it at night when we are sleeping and it seems to do an excelent job and it is also very, very quiet which was a big priority for husband. I must also say that the company that we delt with for the purcase was not a good experience and I hope that I never have to deal with them again. I think that maybe the unit was originally sent out to another customer and they did not return all of the parts that were suppose to be included with the shipment from the manufacturer in Switzerland. We never did get an instruction booklet on how to properly care for the machine and I had to download a copy off of the internet. So, the machine does all of the things that it is suppose to do and we are very happy with it, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.......』

(Very inconvientent and worthless)
『What is not said here on Amazon.com is that this must be put on a 3 feet stand, and then the nozzel must not be interferred with, unlike my others that can sit on the ground. In the end there is no place in our home that we can set it up, so for us it is absolutely worthless. Before buying make sure that you have an unimpeded place of 3 feet hight that you can set it on, that is not in the middle of your room, unless you want the staring piece of your room to the this humidifier. The enginerring on it, is not good.』

(Very disappointing - what a waste of money)
『I researched this humidifier extensively and it seemed to be one of the very best, many positive consumer ratings on numerous websites. I loved that it went to so much effort to achieve especially clean water output. And there were so many digital options that seemed great to have as well. But what good is any of that when it only worked well for a single year. I was a very diligent humidifier user too - cleaning it properly according to the manual, making sure to replace the things that need replacing. It was annoying to continuously have to take care of the machine, cleaning the inside compartment the best I could, and dishing out all the money for the expensive replacement parts that it needed for its normal 2-3 month maintenance issues. But I kept thinking at least its worthwhile - it works so well...Not for long! The second year the mist output was next to nothing, the dirty water sign was always flashing so I had to clean it every other day, and worst of all the circular "membrane" was so delicate that I accidentally damaged it in a routine cleaning - and as far as I know its not replaceable. (Although even if it was replaceable I refuse to spend one more penny on this money pit of a machine) I wish I had chosen a different brand altogether. Its very irritating that Air-O-Swiss passes themselves off as such high quality when their machines are just bound to break because they are so delicate and hard to clean effectively. If you want to waste a lot of money and time on a product that will only last a very short time this is the product for you.』

『Before owning the Intuous 4 Medium, I had the Intuous 3 9 x 12, I found that the larger tablets required me to do extra unnecessary work and was a burden carrying the large thing around in a separate case because it does not fit in a laptop bag, nor a backpack. The Intuous 4 Medium is a great size, slightly longer than a 15" Macbook Pro. A great new feature is the Precision Quick key, allows you to zoom in on a smaller portion of the tablet to draw very fine details. My only complaint is I found that the new black, standard nib wears down very quickly as compared to the standard white nib from Intuous 3. If I could use the same nib from Intuous 3 on Intuous 4, I would say I have absolutely no complaints. Besides the nib, it was definitely the best purchase I've made in a long time.』

The experience has been great. After an hour or two of adjusting to drawing in one location and seeing the result in another I could completly forget about the tablet as a seperate piece of equipment and just draw. Different software is capable of using different features of the tablet and depending on the resolution and color depth of your image you may notice a bit of lag between the tablet and the work but with the right settings you can sketch and draw as fast as your hand can go. (A great portable camera)
『The Canon G11 is not perfect. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of hype and a good deal of 'over-expectation' created about this camera. The G11 is an advanced camera that I wouldn't recommend to the average snap-shooter, but it is a camera I would recommend to someone who has a DSLR kit and would like to have a small camera as a back-up or to carry around. The advanced photographer will experience a camera that tries to reproduce the old range-finder experience (in terms of control and heft). I say "tries to reproduce . . . " because it is a digital camera and the G11 is not be as instantaneous or as responsive as its film counterparts, but it rewards forethought and planning with great images. I was tempted to invest in the micro four-thirds system, especially Panasonic's great GF-1, but it meant investing in another system of bodies and lenses. I may still be tempted to do this in future, but only as a DSLR replacement. The G11, on the other hand, while not being able to meet the same standards as a DSLR or micro four-thirds camera, does operate well as a 'bridge' camera.

Things I really like about the G11 are its viewfinder (not perfect, but useful), its dedicated mechanical controls, its improved noise results, RAW files, good battery life, build and the articulated screen. I don't use the screen to compose very often, but it is useful to review results. Something that could be done better is the AF and burst speeds. I have, nevertheless given it high score, because I am aware of its limitations and work around them and because the 'G' series seems to be the best in its class and just keeps getting better.』

(Why I bought the Canon G11 instead of the S90)
『If you're already in the market for a top level P&S that shoots RAW then you're probably looking at the Canon G11, Canon S90 or the Panasonic LX3. All three cameras have their plusses and minuses so no one should be saying which one is best. The question is what works for you. That's all that matters.

The Canon G11 and S90 both share the same sensor which means they have almost identical noise performance. The big difference on the low light issue is that the S90 starts at f/2 and the G11 at f/2.8. Sounds like a small difference, but it isn't when you need all the low light capability you can get.

According to at least one blowhard pro reviewer (Ken Rockwell - don't know how the man passes as an "expert"), you'd think that the G11 was a waste of money in comparison to the S90 and that only people who want a heavier camera for no apparent reason would want the G11.

Here are my reasons:

1. The G11 has an articulating screen. There are multiple uses for this. A)Makes self portraits easy; B)Allows you to inconspicuously take photos with the camera down at your waist; C)Allows you to compose photos at ground level without lying down; D)Allows you to take photos with the camera over your head in crowd situations; and E)Allows you to protect the screen by turning it inward towards the camera. I know the articulating LCD has its detractors, but to me it's one of the top reasons I bought it over the S90.

2. The longer focal length: 140 vs. 105 on the S90

3. The heavier weight. Heavier means metal. Metal means this camera can take more abuse. Pros in the field frequently choose the G series Canons as their backup because they're built so well. If you're not going to take your camera on a mountain expedition, for example, then you might not need the G11's sturdier build and the S90 might be a better choice.

4. The easy to use "as if it was designed by a real photographer" outside dials for mode, ISO, and bracketing.

But the G11 also has its issues.

The f/2.8 lens IS a concern, although the cameras do even out around 50mm and the G11 surpasses the S90 at the other end of the zoom. There are times I really don't want to carry that extra weight. And the G11 has bit too many extras on it that make it more complicated than it needs to be. Quite honestly, I hate how Canon designs their interface. I'm a Nikon DSLR user, but their P&S cameras don't match the Canon's in terms of quality. I love what the G11 can do, but I despise trying to change settings on it.

There's one reason why none of these things pushed me towards buying the easier to use S90: I also bought the Panasonic LX3. The LX3 has an f/2 lens and an ultra-wide 24mm lens. It's older technology than both the Canons, but whoa does it fill in the gaps on the G11. It's lightweight, easier to use, wider lens (even if it has limited zoom), and has a specific feature not on any Canon: dynamic B&W. I know, I can get the same effect with software after shooting. But that's not my style. I generally shoot it just the way I want it in the moment. I don't enjoy spending a half hour at the computer trying to tweak an image to death. I was self taught on a 35mm shooting almost exclusively B&W so Panasonic's bow to us long term photographers is greatly appreciated.

I realize most folks can't afford to get two top of the line P&S cameras. You have to decide what features count the most. I'm betting most users will prefer the S90. They won't use the articulating screen and they don't need the sturdier build. For people who want to just take photos of friends and family I actually recommend the S90. But if you have needs that go beyond that, start giving the G11 a serious look. There's just one fly in the ointment I have to add: The S90 has the slowest continuous shooting speed of all three of these cameras at .9 fps vs. the G11's 1.1 and the LX3's 2.5. If you're shooting fast moving children, for example, you might want to back up completely and reexamine what it is you need as a cheaper camera without RAW but with faster continuous shooting might be the better choice.

I'm writing this review in late 2009. I've read that Panasonic will probably release the LX3 replacement, said to be the LX5, in 2010. If they keep the positives and add a longer zoom and an articulating screen then forget everything I wrote as I will be ditching both my LX3 and G11. I hate the Canon interface that much.

One last thing on weight - bought a camera grip that just makes the camera feel perfect in my hand and I'm no longer afraid I'm going to drop it. Something like this: PROMASTER CAMERA GRIP』

(brilliant, with qualifications)
『I have a Canon S3 IS and a 40D. I have enjoyed the S3, but find it limiting due to a lack of a hot shoe for flash, and it does not shoot RAW. But I'll keep it around for it's long zoom range and decent image quality.

I am enjoying getting to know my 40D, but it feels rather conspicuous and obtrusive at times. I wanted something less obtrusive for people pictures, and something portable to "grab and go." Enter the G11.

Overall, I like it; it is much more portable than a DSLR, though for someone who is used to more diminutive point and shoots, it may seem bulky. To me if feels light (almost too light), and it's compactness makes the controls feel a little cramped. But it does look pretty cool, and feels pretty sturdy.

I like the "analog" dials, with easy access to most of the features I use frequently. One of my favorite surprises was the ability to set the timer for face recognition -- a 2 second count down starts when a face enters the view.

It won't replace my 40D -- but I didn't expect it to. I knew it would have some limitations; for me, these include a slight shutter lag when pressing the shutter, compared to the 40D (but not as bad as the S3), and a slow burst rate (a little less than 1 a shot per second). It also has too much noise at ISO 400 and up, so I will only use 200 or lower, which generally won't be a problem for me since I tend to use flash indoors.

The zoom range is 5x (optical) which suits my intended purpose, but it wouldn't work if this were my only camera. I would want a little more reach on the long end.

But for portability, decent construction, great image quality (below ISO 400), image stabilization and some nifty features (shooting RAW, hot shoe, face detection, etc), I consider this a keeper. Thanksgiving will be the real test...』

(Wasn't a compelling upgrade from my G7)
『I've had a G7 for a while and really like it. When they announced the G11, I pre-ordered it on Amazon. I had really high hopes for it. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the wait as an upgrade.

I took a bunch of photos with my G7 and G11 of the same subjects and compared them. The G11 does do much better with respect to noise at higher ISO settings. Otherwise the picutres were hard to tell apart. The articulated screen for the G11 really adds considerable size compared to the G7, so that was a negative for me given that it was still a point and shoot. Together, I didn't think it was worth the $500.

So, instead I kept the G7, returned the G11 to Amazon, and bought a Canon EOS Rebel T1i 15.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. I love the Rebel, which is the first DSLR I've owned.

The G11 a great camera if you are looking to buy what might be the best point and shoot digital camera. If you are not upgrading from another Canon G series with image stabilization, it's a great camera to consider. I simply felt that it wasn't a worthwhile upgrade.

『This is a very good camera for the money. It takes great pictures and great video. It would be nice if it was able to record stereo sound but if you're primarily looking for something that takes stills then that won't be an issue. This camera was for my cousins in Vietnam so I did not have a lot of time to play around with it but with the time spent with it, I was very satisfied with my purchase. The camera is a nice size too. Makes you feel like you're a photo nerd with an SLR camera even though you don't know anything about photography.』

『I have been using cybershots since its inception, and have always been happy with the results. But still I always missed the results to the like of my Canon SLR film camera. I have a strong belief that the compact cameras do offer lot of ease in shooting and carrying but they fail to perform like the professional S L R cameras. The small size of the lens and limited optical zoom is the main concern. The pictures taken during the day light are excellent but the ones taken in dim light and with flash are not up to the mark and a lot of improvement has to be done digital in the P C. The new Sony cybershot H-20 fulfills the requirement of a light weight and sleek camera with the features and picture quality of a SLR Camera for the not so serious photographers like me. I am happy with my purchase and recommend this camera strongly』

『I find the camera is excelent but in the information about the memory stick it uses they miss something very important that you should know. When I bougth the memory stick 4gb for any sony camera I had problemes using it in the camera, I have allways a message that there is a problem with the memory card.. then I looked in the internet about the problem I found out that the memory stick for this camera is the Mark 2 one, now I am using the other one because it works but the message allways appears and it is anoysing.. anyway I have to buy the Mark 2 memory stick to stop this problem. And I am not sure if the picture cuality is affected for the wrong memory.

(Disappointed in Picture Quality)
『I owned a Sony Cybershot 3.2 megapixel camera for 6 years and loved it. It took great pictures--far better than the newer higher megapixel cameras my friends owned. Unfortunately I recently "clanked" the camera on a rock and damaged the lens beyond repair. I was excited to purchase a new camera and settled on the Cybershot H2O because of all the positive reviews and my own experience with the older model. I hoped the few negative reviews that appeared here were a result of a rare factory defect.

I have used the camera for 3 weeks now and I am disappointed. I take mostly scenery pictures of the beautiful North Carolina mountains. The default color and light intensity settings greatly overexpose the pictures and tend to wash them out. Fall colors here are outstanding but one wouldn't believe it based upon the pictures. To compensate I have to underexpose the pictures by 0.7 - 1.0EV and increase the color intensity. This can be done in several of the camera settings but it is a pain. The pictures are not sharp. The normally sharp horizon of the mountains appears blurred in the pictures--as if the camera has 20/60 vision. No mode on the camera solves this problem.

The camera has a 10X optical zoom. However, the pictures are not sharp. The camera appears to be "confused" as how to focus the image.

The "Easy" setting is useless for scenery shots because it has no manual override. Therefore, the pictures are over exposed and under saturated in color.

The flash button does not turn on the flash. One has to manually force the flash on from an on-screen menu. This is difficult to see on a bright day when the subject is backlight. The default flash intensity is too high for indoor photos of human subjects. They get washed out. I have to manually reduce the flash intensity from the default setting.

The least movement by ones subject creates a blurred image in not very low light conditions such as shade. This was extremely disappoinging when taking pictures of my grandson who was playing in the raked leaves. To capture him I would probably have had to switch the camera to the "Manual" setting. Rather cumbersome. You can't retake an action photo. He won't play in the leaves again this year. I tossed the photos out once viewing them.

The camera takes high-definition video. But this is only useful if one keeps the video in the camera without transferring it to a computer. The video needs to be played from the camera to a HD TV. The video can't be played on the computer using Windows Media Player. One needs to download a free compatible program, "VLC Media Player".

The camera will not record the date on the pictures. I liked looking at my pictures taken with my old Cybershot knowing the date they were taken. A real advantage when viewing a slide show or screensaver.

Of course, this camera as all of the new cameras are memory hogs--4.5Mb/picture. The increased number of megapixels is not worth it.

The camera has a large LCD screen for viewing pictures. This is a nice feature that all new cameras have. It has no viewfinder. So one has to use the LCD screen for framing pictures and viewing the many camera settings. I don't have 20/20 near vision and this is a problem. I don't like wearing reading glasses to take pictures. Not many new cameras have viewfinders.

I would not recommend this camera. Find an under $100 camera that will take better pictures.』

『This is such an amazing camera. I had heard that it might not do well in humidity but took it to Costa Rica and it performed amazingly. The picture quality is outstanding. Haven't had any problems with it at all and have had it for 6 months and have taken over 2500 pictures in all conditions, low light, indoors, out, and even taken pictures of poisen dart frogs in the dark with just a flash light and got National Geographic type pics! Highly recommend it!』

『Simply put, this is an elegant solution and an exceptional value.

Our "new" home was built in 1928, and has been faithfully restored. We have exactly one room that serves as our living, family, and media room. Drilling into 80 year old plaster or hardwood floors to put speakers everywhere is out of the question. Combine this with the fact that we're new parents, and movie night for us is, when we're lucky, after our son is in bed and with the sound at a low volume.

However, I'm not exactly ready to settle for an entertainment system consisting of a clock radio and a crappy TV. What I've got: 37" Samsung LCD, Apple TV, the HTCT100, and a Logitech 520 remote. All very affordable equipment in the scheme of things, but also very clean. Everything is HDMI, thanks to the HTCT100. The Logitech remote drives things beautifully, BTW.

I wasn't expecting surround sound, and I can't say I get it from this. But the sound is excellent for the price. I mean, come on... $200 and change? That is *nothing* in the world of A/V equipment. I like the fact that the speaker bar is smaller than some of the competing brands, since I have it sitting on our TV stand in front of the TV. Anything much larger would really look silly. Both the center and sub appear well built and neither calls attention to themselves, which is a good thing.

One non-advertised feature is that the unit can compress the dynamic range of a movie. What does this mean? Ever try to watch a movie after your kids are asleep and find yourself always raising the volume to hear wispers and lowering it to avoid having the explosions wake the rest of the house? This feature helps with that. It isn't something you'd ever use in a true theater environment with louder sound, but for my purposes, it works out well.

Honestly I think many people are better off with a system like this. How many people truly have a properly set up home theater with six or seven speakers? Picking up a box of speakers at your local WalMart or Best Buy and scattering them around your living room does not a home theater make.

It would be very hard to go wrong here. I looked at a lot of competing products but they all had something I didn't like. Either wireless subs that don't work, or line level RCA inputs, or features bundled that I just didn't want, or they overlap with the Apple TV.』

『This unit is perfect for my needs. The sound is fine and the bass fills the room. I live in an older adobe/concrete house and having no attic or basement running wires were out of the question. My living room is medium sized, 17x26, with parquet flooring and contrary to other comments regarding limited volume I set the volume at about 20 to 30 and find the levels to be fine. At 40-50 the windows vibrate and any communication with others is reduced to hand signals. Two friends, after hearing the system now have already purchased one.
I did check other sellers and found that Amazon beat everyone. Walmart was asking $269, I paid $228 at Amazon. Installation was a snap. It took longer to get it unpacked than to install it.
It looks good. It sounds great Buy it...』

『I use this kettle all the time. Find it more than adequate and am quite impressed with it.』

『I bought this to replace my metal whistling kettle. The whistle is louder than my previous ones, so I can hear it from the next room. The glass heats up much quicker than metal. And, it's nice enough to serve from on the table.

I had a couple of minor complaints, however. You need to really turn the kettle at an extreme angle to get the last few ounces of water out of it. While I'm doing this, the steam escapes onto my hand and wrist - not a big deal, but it's uncomfortable. And, the cup markings on the outside are a bit misleading. I have to fill it to 4 cups to fill a single mug for tea. Seems like it's about 4oz per "cup" on the markings.』

『The biggest complaint I could think of about this kettle is that just leaving water in there for one day will leave white residue in the kettle. This is actually a good thing because you can see it and clean it, so you know you are drinking from a clean kettle. I think that is my favorite part of this kettle, that or just how big it is.』

The plastics are very high quality and the glass is the best lab quality glass. The glass is made in Germany but the rest and assembly is in the United States.

I was happy to have had the opportunity to speak with the owner of the company and she gave me some history on the compnay and how her products are made. She would like to have had these mad here in the USA entirely but the quality of lab glass is not available here right now. She was very nice ..heard her dogs in the background.

Don't lift the Thumb Tab when the water is boiling - use your thumb to depress it. No burns that way.

One thing I would like to see some mention on how safe the pastics are when heated, are they tested to be non toxic? I'd presume so.

『Well, I was prepared to love this CD, as I love ALL of Eros's music. But this was even better than I expected. How can this man put out such phenomenal music, year after year?
I've been listening to this CD for a couple months now, and it has become one of my all-time favorites. I'm always trying to learn Italian but that's not necessary to enjoy Eros's music. There are so many beautiful words with internal rhymes and rhythms that go so beautifully with the extraordinary arrangements. Although Eros does collaborate with others on the music and lyrics, his unique singing is what makes it all work so well. Eros sings with such soul and he has truly mastered the art.
I am just so grateful to have Eros's music with me in my life, esp. those long car trips. I feel so reassured when he sings, in "Appunti e noti", "Sono sempre qua con questo spiriti ho." May he ALWAYS continue to be there singing with the same spirit. I, for one, will ALWAYS be listening.....

『It's about time that we had a truly diverse and inclusive compilation of Jewish music from the first half of the 20th Century and this 3 CD set is exactly that. True to its title, this beautifully illustrated and masterfully annotated package is a wonderful representation of Yiddish culture as it flourished in "Di Goldene Medine" [The Golden Land]; a.k.a. America. The listener will find just about every important artist in the world of Yiddish music; including, but not limited to Naftule Brandwein, Dave Tarras, Mishka Ziganoff, Abe Schwartz, Harry Kandel, Yossele Rosenblatt, Berele Chagy, Mordechay Hershman, David Roitman, Alter Yechiel Karniol, Pierre Pinchik, Isa Kremer, Fraydele Oysher, Ludwig Satz, Jennie Goldstein, Maurice Schwartz, Fyvush Finkel and others of equal ability and reputation. The novelty tracks on these CDs are, by themselves, worth the price of this set: "Cohen on the Telephone" will have you in stiches, as will "Getzel at a Baseball Game." (A Timeless Love)
『The very special memories of this movie have stayed with me since I saw it 30 years ago when I was a teenager. I finally got to see it again and I enjoyed it so much I watched it 2 times in a row! After the movie, I reflected on what has happened in my life since I had last seen it as a teen. The movie meant something different for me at this age in my life than it did when I saw it as a young woman. Tragically, I lost the love of my life in a plane crash in 1999. He had been my high school sweetheart when I had seen the movie for the first time on TV. Time keeps moving forward no matter what happens doesn't it. I do feel blessed to have had a timeless love. I have always been interested in time travel. One of my greatest wishes is to go back in time and save my love. Many thanks to Lindsay and Marc for a wonderful movie.

『This is one of my husband's and my favorite movies. We have the VHS. Unfortunately, there is no DVD, yet ... but we will replace our tape as soon as one becomes available. (For one reason: we've almost worn out the tape!)

Like "Somewhere in Time" and "Time after Time", this movie has a twist at the end. Delicious!

If you can't afford to purchase (I see it's still pretty much the original pricing) at least try to rent it. One of our top 10 faves.』

『I am an artist whose work tends to be set in the late 19th Century and I am someone who in the 1970's had a crush on Lindsey Wagner and did a portrait or two of her in my youth. I saw the movie on TV in 1979 and had not seen it again until this evening. This movie should have been on DVD a long time ago. It is the equal to classics of this genre such as the 1948 movie Portrait of Jennie with Jennifer Jones and Joesph Cotten, the 1947 version of The Ghost and Mrs.Muir, Somewhere in Time, and more recently The Love Letter with Campbell Scott and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

I cannot believe I had forgotten what an expressive actress Lindsey Wagner is. She perfectly embodies the character as written in the novel Second Sight which I have recently finished re-reading. The movie is somewhat different from the book but stands quite well on its own. It is beautifully filmed and the main theme when Jennie is in 1899 is lovely, evoking such lovely melodies as Josette's Theme or Quentin's Theme from Dark Shadows or the use of Debussy in Portrait of Jennie and not least the music from The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.

If you are starved for a film that truly understands romance in the ways Hollywood has all but forgotten, then this is the movie for you. The ideas expressed about the nature of time appeal to me greatly and nicely anticipate quantum physics. The idea that a dress could be so charged with energy in such a manner that enables its wearer to bridge the distance of today and yesterday is also quite romantic.

I enjoyed this movie so much that my words expressing admiration of it pale in the face of its beauty.

Why anyone could ever cheat on someone like Jennie Logan is beyond me. Jennie's husband was a fool for cheating on her, but yet his indiscretion was necessary for Jennie to be where she finally belonged. His tears at the very end of the film I felt redeemed him at last when he saw the paintings pulled from the attic.

Because I am an artist whose focus is the late Victorian period, there are a couple of things about this movie I would have done a bit differently. Marc Singer's hair fairly screamed the 1970s until he was formally attired for the party just before the duel. The other thing are the paintings seen at the very end. They also screamed 1970's especially with the hair of Jennie's daughters. I also wished they had looked more like the heartachingly beautiful Lindsey Wagner. The main portrait was quite lovely though and if I have time may try my own hand at painting a portrait of Jennie Logan. In no way do these slight quibbles of period accuracy take anything away from the glory of this film.

I also commend Marc Singer and Linda Gray for their roles. Linda in the old age make up was incredible.

『I saw this movie the very first time it aired on TV and fell in love with it. I've been fortunate enough to have found a copy of it on VHS, but just like everyone else, I too would like to see it released on DVD. Yes, there are a few moments that are a tad on the syrupy side, but all in all this is a great film. Time travel has always been a fascinating subject to me, and this is my favorite. I like this much better than "Somewhere in Time", which has been brought out on DVD, so why not this one? Is it because this was a TV movie and "Somewhere in Time" was a theatrical release?
After the movie aired, I bought a paperback copy of the book it is based on: Second Sight by David Williams. Unfortunately, I lost the book in all of the moving I've done over the years, but was lucky enough to obtain a hardback copy at a reasonable price. Even the paperback goes for a very high price. The book has become my all-time favorite novel. If you liked the movie, and can get your hands on a copy of the book, by all means read it! Some libraries still have copies, so maybe you can find it there. While it differs in some of the details, it is every bit as good (even more so, in my opinion) as the movie.』

『This video was okay. I am an avid RW fan and I've seen every singles episode since the OG New York cast. Personally the Boston series was not one of my favorites, Seattle on the other hand was one of the best in my opinion. This video should be called Boston you've never seen because everything was about the Boston cast, the only real thing they showed or said about Seattle was how bad David smelled. If it had shown more of Seattle I would have enjoyed this video, however I was all about Boston, mainly focusing on Genisis,Kamila and Jason. In my opinion you should either rent this one or borrow it from a friend, its not that great. If you want my opinion you should buy the RW New Orleans, THAT ONE IS HILLARIOUS!!!』

『Kids will invariably be kids, but thanks to MTV'sThe Real World You Never Sawwe get to watch a group of giddy exhibitionist hipsters pick their noses, bicker over toilet paper, and take out their trash--in two different cities! Cast members Montana and the kinetically charismatic Sean narrate the majority of the Boston footage, while foxy Janet and Lindsey hold court over the Seattle scenes. Randomly interspersed on the tape are a few outtakes from past casts. Somehow, aReal Worldbehind-the-scenes tape just wouldn't seem right without at least a brief glimpse of Puck doing something mildly offensive.

Despite its claims of "indecent exposure," the video is actually pretty tame. Fans of the show won't see much new footage and curious types looking for a few illicit thrills will be disappointed. Where's the drunkenness, the drug taking, the sexual tomfoolery? If it happened, it happened off camera, or MTV didn't want us to see it. Considering that the few swear words uttered on tape are bleeped out and Sean's frequently bare bottom is discreetly filtered, this would appear to be the case. Alas, this doesn't make for very juicy viewing, nor does it makeReal Worldseem very real.

Still, die-hard fans will appreciate the previously unseen outtakes that are included, and Sean and Montana's camouflage-and-twinkling-visor attempts to break into the control room (where all the crew is set up watching them) are pretty funny. 『This is the 2nd one that I have owned, and the new generation is even better than the first one. I bought the first one in an outlet in Georgia in 1992 and it lasted until 2008. Not bad in my book. The new version has more power, holds a charge longer and cleans twice as well as the old.
I have never had a bad Black and Decker product.』

Buy-It-Now-Store should remove their listing from this 'set' heading and sell their 'inner-filter-only' under an appropriate heading instead of mis-leading customers. Fine print stating "does not include pre-filter" in an obscure place doesn't cut it.

So, if your once great dust-buster is starting to seem sluggish, get rid of that old crappy, filthy filter and put a new one in it. Chances are, it'll run like new again, but remember to clean it regularly. Also, if you need the plastic retainer that is advertised in this listing as part of the 'set', DON'T order from Buy-It-Now-Store. Their $6.95 shipping amount is ridculous and you'll only get the 1 ounce inner filter.』

『This is a good quality product. I had some minor difficulty installing because the holes on the flange did not match up with the mortar cracks in the brick foundation. Other holes can be drilled in the flange, just be prepared to drill holes in whatever wall this is to be mounted. I painted after installation with a brush and latex paint as recommended. I still wonder if a good quality spray paint applied before installation would have made more sense. Works great. We'll see how cold the dryer gets come winter!』

『On first use this unit heated oil to 400°F. During cooking it never dropped below 380°F. Because it was so high, I checked with two thermometers.

My Chicken Fried Steak came out a mahogany color, and the crust had a definite burnt flavor. The frying oil was burnt, not reusable, and oil is not cheap.

Most authoritative cookbooks recommend 320° to 365°F for deep frying. The highest smoke point of readily available shortening is around 350-360°F, only canola and peanut oils are above 400°F.

I would put the ideal temperature at no more than 350°F, 50°F less than this fryer.

Presto Customer Service said I should only use canonla oil (contrary to the enclosed instructions) and if that was not satisfactory, I should return the unit.

I was disappointed and surprised after good reviews.』
