In this fourth book of the series, besides Riki and Iason, also Kyrie gets a fair share of attention. Very interesting to read the motivations of his actions and to what lengths he goes for that. The Sci-fi world created in this series is becoming more detailed with each volume. By accident I stumbeled across the OVA and I am glad I did. Otherwise I would never have read this series (being a novel and no manga) and that would have been a loss.』
(A powerful story of love.) 『This series is magnificent! Early in the 90's an anime appeared in Japan that would rock. It was a love story about a "mongrel" named Riki who had the misfortune to cross paths with a man called Jason, an elite race of Blondies, perfected human beings. Jason would come to love the proud Riki through torture and forced encounters that would not break Riki despite appearances. Much would come between them to tear them apart including threats to Jason that he would be reprogramed if he kept such an inferior pet as Riki. Recently a new manga translation was made available to we eager American readers. It is very good with illustrations that are just right for the series. I had read previously that there weren't enough illustrations. I think there are and they are quite beautiful and haunting. The most recent volume "Suggestion" continues the story of Riki, freed fron his confinement for a year, by Jason. It does not hold back in its frank sexuality and powerful love that Jason has come to feel for Riki. Excellent. One caution though,it is mature reading. Highly recommended!』
(Excellent!) 『This is an absolutely great read. It definitely brings to light the happenings during the three years Rikki was separated from Bison. It's a whole new twist on an already wonderful story.』 『Released from Iason's curse, Riki is spending his days idly in the slums when he's drawn into a trap - is it a secret plot of uninvited visitor Kirie, or could it also be a cruel way to force Riki to choose between the body of his old roommate Guy and his own pride? Riki revives the memories of his three years of lust and masochism with Iason. Is freedom just an illusion?』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great yaoi (M/M) HENTAI stuff, explicit!) 『All those who buy yaoi hentai series and expect sweet kizuna-like "older-teens" type of stuff should check what the word "hentai" means first :). It's really hardcore / explicit stuff, and I find such stories very amusing. I liked all four stories in this volume: sci-fi story actually had quite a decent plot (and quite romantic, if read in the right mood), and the Trach Monster story was the funniest of all 4 Trach stories published (vol 1 - 4 hentai series). It also includes the explciit (VERY) follow-up on another published yaoi, "Pinned" (Studio Kosaru and Yamilia Abraham - I love her stories! Check out "Winter Demon" and "Dark Prince"). The "Stradivarius" / first story has the weakest plot (in my opinion), but the art is really good / Japanese manga quality. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend this volume to all open-minded hardcore yaoi fans, especially those who can appreciate some variety.』
(I love this series!) 『I think that there needs to be at least one series that goes all the way in yaoi, and this one does not disappoint! I love the unrepentant 'plot-what-plot' vibe. It's up front: You're going to get hot, uncensored yaoi.
I especially like the cute and funny bits. Like the little chibi breaking the forth wall in the violin story, and the 'ow my butt hurts' part in the rocker story. And of course, the Trach the Tentacle monster stories rule! Falcor getting hit by the train was a riot!
I think that when people know what they're in for with this series they can better appreciate it. The draw out sexual tension and drippy romance is already in every single yaoi out there. This one just gets to the goods. Anyone who was expecting more that raw loving is of course going to be disappointed, but then what did you expect for a series called 'Yaoi Hentai'? Hentai means Perv!
I eagerly await every new volume.』
(Still not very good art) 『A couple of the stories were okay (not great) But the art is still pretty bad.
Explicit.』
(yaoi banzai) 『this volume was steamy and fun. trachs short in the back was hilarious...LMFAO. if youlike yaoi and hentai, this is for you.』
(Good smut...now if they could get GOOD artists...) 『I'm just being nice for this review on Yaoi Hentai - probably cos it's the only good series Yaoi Press releases - I say that cos I've read a number of their Graphic Novels. Yaoi Hentai is different though, it shows everything and focuses on sex, rape or whatever the writer wants. The stories are a little lacking, the sex is the only thing they all have in common not that I mind seeing - as most Japanese Manga only show cones - but it's the drawing that throws you off. You kinda have to wonder if any of those artists have ever seen a naked man as they all look...strange and off putting. Some of the drawings are off proportioned making the smut scenes look horrible (either that or impossible). At least we didn't see a return of Wicked from Yaoi Hentai Vol. 1. That art was just horrible! Probably the most positive about YH2 is that Trach the tenactle monster adds some humor. But don't expect to laugh your head off, just chuckle if that.』 『Yaoi Hentai is back with a whole new volume of romantic yaoi smut. All new artists bring you four hot stories of hardcore guy on guy loving. First, an Elizabethan dandy is cursed to be the love slave of anyone who plays his violin. Next enjoy a science fiction story of a prince who endures trials of sexual pain and pleasure at the hands of his idol, the emperor of a sexually depraved planet. Fans of Yaoi Press' PINNED! graphic novel get to see a hardcore love scene between Renegade and Synn. And of course, Trach the tentacle monster rounds out the book in his second sex-filled adventure. YAOI - MATURE&EXPLICIT CONTENT Readers 18+.』

Digital Manga
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Delightful!) 『It's probably one of the best and sweetest yaoi novels I have read. Yes, we have doubts, jealousy, secret love, passion, lust, misunderstandings, all the recipe for a typical yaoi novel, BUT the difference lies on the characters and how vivid and convincing they are. I can't possibly stress enough how important for a novel is to have convincing characters who feel and sound *real* and their actions are based on human psychology rather than on some unfathomed whim.
As other reviewers have already talked about the plot, I won't repeat it here. I will only say that here there is indeed a story to be told, there is plot and convincing turns in it; there are characters deserving our attention and sympathy, as their feelings and thoughts sound genuine and speak truthfully straight to our hearts.
As for the sex scenes, well, they were realistic, tasteful, aesthetically perfect, describing a lot and yet setting the reader's imagination on fire for what was not yet "said".
Although the whole novel is written from Toru's point of view, there is a last chapter where we come to know Ryoji's feelings, doubts and thoughts. I think this chapter was the best conclusion to the story and the most satisfying ending Maki Kazumi-sensei could give us. I take it that Ryoji's final chapter was her present to her readers, and I'm really grateful to her for that.
If there is something that made me feel awfully sad was Keigo Kashiwazaki, a minor character in the story... You should definitely read it. It gives great insight and adds depth to the characters and their actions, so much that it is almost like a new work when compared to the original manga.
Last but not least Yukine Honami's illustrations were exactly right for "Desire".
I look forward to reading more of Maki Kazumi's work.

(this is one of the good ones) 『forgive the shortness of the review... i've done so many of these now... -__-
art= superb story= excellent characters= wonderful, and fully fleshed out XXX= extremely well done
buy it.
also check out 'constellations in my palm'. (by the same person). it is another 5 star. ('rin' 1-3 was amazing as well, but i don't remember if it was the same artist. though it shares many of the same qualities.)』
(Oh so sweet) 『This is a truly sweet and satisfying yaoi novel. It reminds me a lot of the "Ring Finger" series of books but with a little more sizzle. And the English translation is so good! None of the awkward wording that permeates the Ring Finger stories. The characters are very young (16 or 17) so I'm a bit surprised with how sexually active they are but the sex scenes are tastefully written. Ryoji, the seme, is quite a "player" who surprises even himself with how strongly he falls in love with Toru, the innocent uke. The majority of the story is told from Toru's point of view, but, very interestingly, the last chapter tells it from Ryoji's perspective. I haven't seen this in any other yaoi novel. There are the usual twists and turns, the usual jealousy, but a refreshing sweetness. This is a good book for anyone who wants to have their heart warmed.』
(Exactly what I was hoping for...) 『Something about this story, the sweetness of the characters, the transformation and the depth of their feelings, the satisfying resolution, has kept it as one of my favorites for a while now. I don't know why it struck me the way that it did - I've certainly read enough now to compare. Many stories have stronger characters or more extravagantly drawn illustrations, more passionate encounters, more compelling stories. But something about this story, again, struck a chord in me. I adore it. I love them all. I wished it hadn't ended so abruptly (I always want more...), but I was satisfied.
To learn there would be a novel version of it was thrilling and I speculated what that would bring. More insight into the characters? More detail to their encounters? More story - a continuation of the story set out in the manga?
I am pleased to say that this novel delivered all of that and more. (Including some lovely new illustrations by artist Yukine Honami.)
Toru is sweetly confused, confounded by his love for Ryoji, and finds himself in a Catch-22: this could be his only opportunity to get close to the one he loves, but doing so could end up hurting him even more. Ryoji is a dog and a scoundrel who, in the end, realizes that his heart is in control more than his desire.
The novel takes us up the end of the manga, and then, sweetly, beyond, as their love is affirmed and reconfirmed and their passion for each other reaches its fullness. Again, I just adore these two. Others might see them as stereotypes - the shy, tepid uke, the selfish, scoundrel seme - but I see them as two boys who were already friends when they found each other and who now only want to make each other happy.
Maki Kazumi's simple, but beautiful novel is an equal match for Ms. Honami's simple, beautiful drawing style. The story they tell makes me hungry for more, makes me want to know what happens next... 』 『With a few simple words uttered by his best friend Ryoji-Toru's world flips upside down. It doesn't help that Toru has secretly been in love with Ryoji for some time. But whereas Ryoji wants a purely physical relationship to satisfy his curiosity-Toru wants more. Can the two ever come to terms with how they really feel about each other?』
