『We got this remote for our six-month-old son because he kept wanting to grab our TV remote. He only played with it a little at that point, but now at nine months, he loves it. He pushes the buttons and laughs at the sounds. This is a really cute toy - each number button has Elmo saying what number it is as well as either a Sesame Street character saying 2-3 different things, or else a sound effect. (I personally find Cookie Monster saying "Yum yum yum" to be hilarious.) The remote also has eyes at the top that open and close with the push of a button. This toy seems durable - its been dropped several times and still works fine. This toy is definitely one of our son's favorite small toys, and its a great toy for him to play with in the car as well. I highly recommend it for babies nine months and up.』

『My 6 month old loved this when I got it for her to play with in place of our remote controls. I leave it next to ours and it keeps her attention. She is 10 months old now and still loves it. Each key has fun sounds and Sesame Street character's voices that say a phrase and also count the number that is pressed. So you can push one button 3 times for different sounds. The top button pushes the eyes open and shut. The volume really works and has several levels of sound for this toy. If you little one loves your remote then they will love this one. I would definitely recommend it!』

Unlike other scene it versions I've played you select a game number that you want to play - perhaps this helps to cut down on repeat questions. It's not as unique to the movie as other scene-it games have been (like Harry Potter and Disney) - the card questions are 1, 2 and 3 nothing fun or catchy. The questions and the clips are good, and the player's pieces are unique to the movie so that's a plus.
I'd recommend it, and I got a good price, but if I had realized it was a short board I might have held out for the regular version.』

『Playing Dominion is just a fun thing we do on sundays. I love to play card/board games and in dominion there's so much variety of games in one game that it's never old. You have 25sets of action cards of which only 10sets of action cards will be in play. Generally we shuffle the deck of 25 and pick 10 cards randomly. That's why we get a different game every time. The learning curve is not very steep for this game and they playing time is short that's another advantage. The only complain I have about this game is that there's a lot of shuffling involved in this game and the cards will soon be worn out. But I would be happy to buy another of this game after that. Another thing is the game has low interaction among players. So you basically cannot attack other players very often. I highly recommend every boardgame lover to give this one a try』

『My husband and I love games like Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne, so we were excited to add another game to our collection when he found this one and we weren't disappointed! There are multiple ways to play this game so it is different every time. The directions give you at least 6 different games with different card categories to use and you can make up your own, there are multiple possibilities. You don't use every card for every game. You can play with only 2 people, which is a nice feature in a strategy game. It is a little complicated the first few times you play, but if you have any experience with this type of game you will pick it up quickly. My husband's only concern is that the cards could wear out, but they seem to be of good construction so I'm not too worried, though he will probably buy card protectors for them. If you don't like card games or strategy games, you probably won't enjoy this. But if you do, this is a great game to add to your arsenal!』

『I am new to this type of game. I like playing strategy games that the player needs skill to win. Like any card game, there is some luck involved.

The box contains nice compartments to keep the cards sorted. The instructions are pretty well written, but there were a couple rules that were ambiguous to us and we had to interpret them ourselves. I can see the cards getting worn or bent with lots of use.

We have only played with two players and it is still fun. I could see it being even more fun with another player or two. Since you don't use all the cards each game, there is good variety between games, specially if you randomly pick the action cards to use each game. I think it takes us about on hour per game, not the 30 minutes the box suggests.』

will be fun for both "civilians" (who just want to have a great time and socialize around a center point) and "Hard-Core-Gamer" types (who will have both fun and be super-impressed by this game's mechanics)

"Randomosity":
The cards are randomized *before* the game starts, so every game-session is different and requires a different strategy.
It does not have the in-game randomality flaw that Settlers of Catan has, so you can calculate your strategy according to your current hand in a more controlled manner.

Price/Value ratio:
the game is pricey, but I have to say - worth it.
you have to think of it as an investment - it's a board game, so if you don't trash your cards they'll stay around for years,
and because of the aforementioned pre-game randomizing of the cards, you don't get "set" on one strategy that you play forever - every session is like a new game.
also, I have no doubt that your kids and grand kids will enjoy this one - it has the works of a timeless classic.

Expansion:
The Sea side expansion adds more aggressive cards to the game,
so when you played the S#!t out of the 1st one, you can always get the expansion to make for a more volatile game with new strategies to think about.

Fun:
overall though, just super fun.

『I've been playing this game regularly with some friends for about a year now and it's been very enjoyable throughout. If you're into strategic competition or if you've ever enjoyed deck building games, definitely give this one a try. The original game in the series, this set focuses on action chaining/combinations and basic deck balance, as well as some opponent attacking. a four player game usually takes 1-2 hours tops, but can be finished much faster once everyone has the hang of things.

contents -
the box is a giant card organizer. the cards aren't mega-durable to the point of being difficult to shuffle (which you do A LOT of in this game,) but they won't be tearing or crinkling/folding much either. Just a bit of edge wear here-and-there. the imagery is nice to look at and the different card types are pretty easy to distinguish at a quick glance of your hand. I'd say the only real issue with the contents is the fact that the coin cards (valued copper(1), silver(2], and gold[3]) look very alike save for the number printed on them, but this is something we got over quickly.

game-play -
just a quick rundown of the game-play for those new to deck builders, the goal of the game is to have the most victory points (VP) in your deck when the game ends (when certain card piles on the table are depleted). your deck is your only resource, containing all cards you've purchased so far and shuffled back together after they've all been drawn/played/discarded. there are three card types; coin, victory, and action. every turn you draw a new hand of 5 cards from your deck and from the drawn combination of coin and actions, you may purchase more action/coin/VP cards and/or play actions in your hand to alter the game-play in basic ways (such as giving you more actions to play, allowing you to draw more cards from your deck, or forcing others to discard a few cards). any victory cards in your hand are useless (at least in this series) until the end when counted, forcing you to balance early deck power with late-game points.
the cards are heavily play-tested, and we found that save for one or two cards, it's a very balanced game with many strategic possibilities. also, only a fraction of the action cards types are used each game, so randomly choosing the included actions each game makes for very different games and increases the replay value.

definitely a five-star product in my opinion, and worth the seemingly-steep price point. The latter series (dominion:intrigue and dominion:seaside[add-on only]) may combine with this original version and introduce many new elements of game-focus and strategy. try it out!』

A Dazzling Twilight Experience
From the game pieces to the trivia cards, every aspect of Twilight Scene It? has been infused with the spirit of Twilight. The game begins with players choosing one of four collectible tokens to represent their team. Sculpted out of metal, these tokens have been modeled after some of Twilight's most iconic items: Charlie's house, a baseball, Bella's truck, and Edward's piano.

Teams advance around the board by answering two types of questions: traditional trivia cards and DVD-based puzzles. The trivia cards, which resemble what you might find in Trivial Pursuit, provide questions in a wide range of difficulty. Some of the tougher questions are challenging enough to stump even the most devoted Twilight fans. Players can also strategically use special "Fate Cards" to throw their opponents off course.

The main attraction, however, is the interactive DVD. Hosted by Dr. Carlisle Cullen (played by Peter Facinelli), it is filled with hundreds of video clips, sound bites, and images from the movie.
