Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The Best Toy We've Ever Owned) 『This has been my kids' favorite toy for 2.5 years now. Nothing else even comes close. We bought the 32 pc. starter set when they were 2.5 yrs old, and quickly followed up by buying the 100 pc set. They just turned 5, and we've added two more of the 100 pc sets to their collection. I have BGG triplets and all three love to play with them, and every kid who comes over loves them. As my kids have gotten older, they've learned to build larger and more complex structures, and even use them to interact with other toys (e.g. building castles for figurines or bridges over railroads). I don't see them falling out of use for years to come. I recommend getting the translucent set as the kids like to put figurines and other toys inside their creations and want to be able to see what's inside. I don't recommend the 32 pc set as its difficult to build much with 32 pieces and its simply not a good value.
Pros: * Durable - We've never broken a piece despite being routinely stepped on, dropped, toppled, and thrown into a storage drawer. * Excellent play value - Kid's play with them frequently, and for long periods of time (up to 4 hours). The manufacturer recommends age 3+, but they're also great for kids younger than that. The magnets are pretty strong, so they hold structures well, and the kids don't get frustrated by things falling apart. * Easy to clean up and store - They're flat and magnetic, so they pick up fast, are easy to stack, and don't take up much space. Consequently, they're the first toy my kids pick up when asked to clean their playroom. If you're short on space and looking for a limited number of high-quality toys, this has to be at the top of your list. * Safe - The magnets are completely enclosed in plastic and can't come out. * Educational - You'd be surprised what can be made out of them.
Cons: * Not cheap - Sometimes you just gotta pay for the good stuff. They're still a great value, though.』

(Color of blanket) 『I purchased 3 of the ZhuZhu pets hamster carrier and blanket. The purple one was just what I expected and my granddaughter was very happy, the two others were "blue". They may have been blue to some people but not to my other granddaughter and grandson. It was a greenish color. All three grandchildren were so excited about the hamsters that the color of the blanket and carrier really didn't matter. They love their little "pets".』

(Mostly comfortable . . . .) 『. . . But you and your bedmate better agree on how much air you want in it. If you make it too firm or too soft you won't sleep too well. It has a built-in pillow but I would still use a regular one. The built-in one is better served to keep your regular one from falling off the edge while you sleep. Inflation and deflation is super easy with the built-in pump. We bought it for use at my sister's house and it was either just the turn of a knob or the flip of a switch (can't remember which). We did have to return it for a leak in the seam, but as long as you buy it directly from Amazon and not a third-party vendor (Amazon has a longer warranty), you should be in good shape. They send you a relacement, if that's what you want, immediately, and you just have to return the other one. Better still, you don't have to send yours back first; they'll cross in the mail. I recommend inflating it and using it a few times to be sure there aren't any leaks so you're prepared for guests. Overall, though, a really good deal.』

(Does the job but could be better) 『I bought this toy for my 4 month old son, who is still in the "supported sitter" stage and therefore loves to sit in his stroller. He still doesn't reach the tray so I use toys that fit between him and the tray, this toy is the perfect size for that (he also has the vTech steering wheel, and vTech Baby's Laptop for this purpose and they are great if you are looking for the same size of toys#.
After seeing my son play with the piano a few times this is what I have to say:
PROS:
1- As with most Baby Einstein toys and videos, classical music is the main feature and I like that.
2- Different settings provide a wide range of sounds and therefore I don't think this toy will drive me crazy too soon.
3- Different languages set ups helps me expose my son to several languages which is great and I big factor in my decision when I buy a toy #we live in a bilingual home as it is, and the more languages the better as far as I know#
4- Perfect size for my son to play with it in his stroller #as I mentioned before that was my main goal#
CONS
1- The speaker is on the bottom of the toy. When playing with it in his stroller this is not too big of a problem #since it's on his lap -an irregular surface- but when we lay the toy on his "tummy time" blanket it's really hard to hear the sounds.
2- When you have it in the "number" set up and you press a key, it plays music, then if you press it the second time it says the number. I know that the musical aspect of this toy is the main feature, but in my opinion it'd be better for "cause-and-effect" purposes if the toy would always say the number (and maybe after that play some music) when you press the keys while in the "numbers" set up.
3- I wish it had all the musical notes. The toy only has 5 keys and therefore only 5 notes, but looking around I found that most piano toys for this age range only have 5 keys so this may just be a standard thing.
All together it's a very nice toy, as far as I can tell it's safe for my son (nothing can come off of it or anything like that) and my son is interesting in it enough to keep him occupied for a little while which is all I asked for.』
(Baby Einstein is a genius!) 『I purchased this Baby Einstein Count and Compose Piano as a Christmas present for my 10-month-old niece, Solemnity Rose, and she absolutely ADORES it! My sister had a hunch that she would be enamored with it, so she wisely made sure my niece opened all of her other presents before this one. She was right! My niece had a blast opening her presents- she got a kick out of tearing the bows and ribbons off&ripping open the wrapping paper. However, once she got to this one, she lost interest in everything else for the rest of the evening!
Having spent my life around children, I know how annoying toys can get when babies play with them over and over again, especially the ones that make noise! For some reason, though, I don't find this piano annoying at all. It's not as loud as a lot of other toys are, and the sounds are more soothing somehow- not as high pitched as most baby toys. There are 5 keys on the piano, numbered one through five, with three different sound modes. The first mode tells the baby the number of the key they're pressing in 3 different languages: English, French,&Spanish. The second mode plays a different melody for each key, and the third mode is the normal "piano" mode with musical notes corresponding to each key. The toy lights up every time the sounds are activated, shining different color lights on the consul's "dashboard." Plus, the dials on either side of the light can be swiveled, and there's a rattle on top of the keyboard that can be spun.
This toy has everything a baby loves- bright colored keys, a rattle, songs, musical notes, talking, and colorful flashing lights. Plus, it's very lightweight and easily supported on the baby's lap. Not to mention the price! I was shocked when I saw how affordable it was, because it is so perfect for babies and has so many features! In my opinion, this is the perfect gift for any baby, any occasion. Every child should have one of these!!!』 『Sing, count, play together! The toys are durable and have held up to the playing. The hard plastic container is great as everything fits right back in it for easy pick up. The working stethoscope was a big hit, as well as the thermometer. I would recommend this toy for purchase.』

The quality of the pieces is decent with batteries included (surprisingly) in the beeper and the stethoscope. The blood pressure gauge spins when the bulb is squeezed and the cuff is sized right for a small bicep. The stethoscope makes coughing sounds when pressed and the beeper beeps with an emergency light displaying. This toy is more than adequate for a safe medical make believe between little friends and has enough variety of items to sustain an extended role play. The box that contains everything is pretty sturdy and has solid catches to keep it closed. At the current price point of $18+, it is a reasonable buy.』
(solid set but maybe too realistic) 『I got this for my niece (2) and nephew (4) for Christmas and watched them play with it for a while. Some thoughts:
PROS Carrying case - All the pieces (20 or so) can be stored in custom-cut plastic cutouts. It takes a bit of strength to get them out the first time, but I'm sure it becomes easier over time. Electronic pieces - the stethoscope makes a heartbeat and coughing noise, and the pager makes some beeping noises when you push its three buttons. Decent quality - I'm sure this won't last for 10 years, but I think it will last until they outgrow playing doctor.
CONS Too realistic - the set comes with a scalpel and surgical scissors, and I had to explain what they were when my nephew asked. Kinda gruesome.
