『Once assembled and cleaned (it arrived with some fine gritty dust) I was excited to put the little guy in and see what would happen. He took to it immediately and proceeded to jump around and laugh. This can wear a baby out quick. I limit him to 10 mins a day or he quickly gets overtired and cranky (he's 5 mos). I now find him wanting to jump more even when just being held in a standing position, it's one of his favorite things.

(How to make your vulcan work)

『Lots of people have complained that this gun jams too much. When I first got this gun I thought the same. It took me a bit to figure out but I found all you have too do is remove the ammunition box and it works fine. Also be warned, this gun takes forever to reload.That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise works just fine.』

(Big disappointment)

『I was really disappointed with this nerf gun. For one thing, it is REALLY heavy, and I found that my arm became tired just holding it for thirty seconds. for kids under ten, I doubt they could hold it at all. It does come with a tripod, but it slips off easily and is not very durable.
Another disclaimer is that it takes FIVE 9-volt batteries. Also, the gun supposedly shoots two shots a second, but after a few minutes shooting, it ends up being more like forty a minute.
The internal mechanism is screwy and prone to jams, and it often skips rounds in the ammo belt, causing it to go off unexpectedly. Then the belt falls out and leaves you defenseless.
The single-shot mode isn't much better, because the cocking lever is way down by the handle. This means that you have to hoist the huge, unwieldy gun up onto your shoulder every time you want to shoot.

CONCLUSION: Just buy the raider.』

『I am surprised to see all the one star reviews here? My gun has been perfect, I have shot HUNDREDS of belts through it on the first set of batteries! It has been knocked around by my me, my son and my nephew for hours and hours without a hitch.
Perhaps I just got a good one? Not usually the way for me.

If you load the belts wrong it will jam and not feed. It is not hard to mess that up. It also gets a dart stuck in the barrel from time to time that causes a real problem. But come on, what automatic does not ever jam?

This really is a fun gun!』

『This weapon, I think,adds yet another level of completion to the Nerf arsenal. It was about time that Nerf made a belt fed gun. It has two modes of fire, one that shoots continuously and one that shoots manually. The precision blasting capability is certainly necessary otherwise you would have to pack a sidearm. A problem with it is that the cocking arm twists some before clicking into cocked position. It LOOKS like the Longshot Cs6's cocking system, but I wouldn't know if it's similar. The auto fire capability, this products most accentuated feature, is good and reliable (for me anyway). It is a bit noisy though and makes an unmistakable "EE-CLICK-EE-CLICK-EE-CLICK!". The tripod is handy as is the ammo box. Nothing special there. It is really good for non-precision, all-around mayhem and particularly good against soda can pyramids and people. If you are trying to nail a 4-inch target at...say....1o feet, it would probably take a few shots in contrast to the Maverick. The maverick is very slightly more accurite but packs less of a punch. As for reloading, it is naturally difficult but as easy as reloading a belt gets. All in all, Santa made a good decision this Christmas.』

Full Auto Design Gives You a Quick-Firing Advantage
The first thing we noticed when we took the EBF-25 out of the box was how substantial it was. The gun itself was large, brightly colored in yellow and orange, and heavy enough for it to be a burden for quick missions; accessories included a tripod, ammobox, and ammobelt. The instruction booklet did a good job of describing the assembly process, which took about ten minutes. There is a handle that allows you to easily carry the gun around, but we would have appreciated a strap even more.

The darts are held inside an ammobox in a 25-shot belt, which is fed through the gun. You'll feel like Rambo when you carry the gun, or sit it on its tripod for taking out enemies by the bucketload. After we'd installed the required six D batteries (not included), we pulled the trigger to see the gun work methodically through our belt of darts. It took only 10 seconds to blast through the included 25 darts, flinging them thirty feet across the room. We wished there were more darts included in the box since it seemed a bit silly that we needed to spend a few minutes to pick up the ammo, and then reload them onto the belt, after shooting for only about ten seconds. A refill pack can be purchased separately, which, we think, would be a wise investment if you want to effectively beat your enemies.

The gun also has a single-shot mode that lets you shoot with extra precision. Rather than battery powered, you have to pull back on a spring-loaded lever, and then use the trigger release lever to shoot the dart. In our experience, you can achieve a little bit more distance this way than with the auto-fire mode.

Tactical Rail System Allows for Fun Additions
The Vulcan EBF-25 features the Nerf Tactical Rail System, allowing it to use most N-Strike accessories, such as the night vision Tactical light accessory for night-time missions.

For those interested in Nerf-fights, the Vulcan EBF-25 should be in everyone's artillery; the rapid-fire design gives players the advantage when engaging the enemy, and is ideal when it can be used on the back of a moving vehicle, or a stationary setting.
