(Baby loves it!) 『We tried another playmat, but she wasn't interested. Got this one and she loved it right away. 4 months later it is still her favorite toy/activity. We now have the Rainforest Jumperoo and bouncer too. Excellent quality for me, fun for her. I'm sold on Fisher-Price.』
(Money well spent!) 『This mat provided my son with plenty of stimulation - blinking lights, swinging animals, and music. This is where he perfected his motor skills. All the cons are VERY minor and it's worth every penny spent.』
(Life Saver!) 『Got this when LO was 3wks old and I finally was able to get things done around the house!! LOL. It kept him quiet and content and helped with tummy time. His favorite part is the top of the play gym with the sounds and ranging colors (actually thought the butterflies would spin like a mobile which was a downer). It actually keeps him content for quiet awhile-- it was 45mins. at 1 month, and now at 2 months he makes me restart it twice.
His favorite toy (other than the top of the gym) has actually become the elephant rattle. It goes with us everywhere and it's the only toy that he show interesting in grabbing and hitting.
I'd buy this again and again. Just wish the top could actually spin. :(』
(Charming&Entertaining Gym, Worth the Price) 『My daughter wasn't able to interact much with this toy until about 4 months old, but before then she did still enjoy looking around the gym, staring at the brightly colored flashing lights, and cooing at the slightly swaying butterflies ahead. This gym is great because you can switch out the toys. My finance&I switch it up all the time, and we use every attachable toy we have on this gym. It keeps things interesting&surprising for our daughter, who is now 6 months old&enjoying this gym more then ever. She coos&"talks" to the animals&especially loves chewing on the monkey. The monkey has become such a special toy that her dad is thinking of getting it tattooed. It took our daughter Lenore awhile to discover the attachment mirror, and we knew previously that she loved mirrors, but once she has discovered it it is one of her favorites. She will stare in the mirror and smile and seemingly flirt with herself, then attack it with her slobbering mouth. Our baby gets much joy out of this gym! I do wish it were better priced. If it sold for $40 that would be great! But even still, the use&smiles&long play-times we've gotten out of this gym in the past several months, have no doubt been worth the money spent. Also the characters of this Rainforest line by Fisher Price are so cute! All the animals look very friendly&are all smiling in their faces. Quite sweet companions! We loved this gym so much that we purchased the mobile&waterfall soother in the rainforest's theme too, and if I would have known that they made a bouncer, swing&bassinet in this theme, we would have purchased those too!
Great little gym. Charming, sweet, entertaining, versatile, machine washable, easy to assemble&tuck away when not in use. However, this gym is in use, much more than it is not in use! There is not one day that goes by that our little girl doesn't enjoy spending some time with this gym. I will even set her on her belly on a blanket next to the gym&I'll turn on the lights&have the rainforest's sounds going, and it turns into a splendid tummy time activity center! We just hang some favorite toys from the attachment rings&she is thoroughly enthralled. She will roll back&forth now, but does not explore yet far from this gym.
I recommend! If you can afford this gym, I do not believe you'll be disappointed.』 『Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner and a frog character mirror. Two satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has two points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of three link points on the mat as well as to any of five link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between three modes of play: Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off eight to 12 seconds of lights and music. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays. Rainforest mode plays 20 minutes of rainforest sounds while baby plays. The gym provides four songs and two sound effects sequences. Requires 2-C batteries, not included. (LeapFrog Tag Storybook - Olivia) 『My 3-year old daughter loves this book. Although the book is rated for 4 year old, she is still able to enjoy. She clicks on all the pictures and is amused for quite a while. We read together and she touches the dots. Great entertainment for children.』
(Best prices.) 『We priced these in our local stores and on the internet and the price was the best we found.』
(Oliva book for the Tag system) 『This loveable story is a great first book for the Tag system. It is entertaining as it teaches beginning sounds and words. Two thumbs up!』
(Great Book!) 『Loved this book and now love it's addition with the TAG products.
Cleverly written to amuse both parent and child.』 『On each book page, see Olivia dressing up, singing songs, building sand castles, napping (maybe), dancing, painting on walls and "whew!"going to sleep at last. KIDS II
Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Baby Moron Toy) 『This toy appeals to parents because the music isn't obnoxious, its marketing promises a brilliant (bilingual) baby, and it isn't very expensive. The reality is there are so many switches, settings, and keys on this thing that it's all but impossible for your child to learn cause and effect. My son seemed interested in the toy, but grew frustrated after a while because the effect of hitting the red key with the setting on Spanish with one knob turned to the picture of the metronome with the other knob turned to the picture of the violin was completely different from the day before when he hit the red key with the setting on French with one knob turned to the picture of the keyboard and the other knob set to the picture of the clarinet.
My mother gave this toy to my son envisioning a valedictorian or the reincarnation of Beethoven. I ended up lying to her, telling her the toy was great, and sending it to the thrift store. If you want your toddler or baby to learn about music and cause and effect, simply put them in front of a keyboard or piano. Overall, we've found that while they have a great marketing campaign, Baby Einstein makes pretty poorly designed baby toys.』
(Good for a compact toy, but speaker is in a horrible location) 『My son who is now almost 10 months old enjoys playing with this toy, but he tends to flip it over with the keys down and bang from the back because the speaker for the music is on the bottom. When it sits on a carpet you cannot hear the music very well. Baby Einstein needs to move the speaker to the side of the toy next to the label so you can see it. Then it will get 5 stars.』
(Very Disappointing) 『Ever since I was about 20 I wanted to train to become a classical pianist. I had hoped that this product would provide me with the basic tools I needed to begin as a novice and move up to at least an intermediate level. I was very excited by this product upon reading about it on Amazon. I splurged and ordered it Next Day Air so I could play it immediately.
The next day the box was delivered. Although I was extremely excited as I opened the box, I was surprised by how small the box was. I was sure this must be the first piece of the piano, with more to come.
Imagine my disgust when I opened the box to find this tiny plastic instrument.
To add insult to injury, upon tapping the first key on this "piano", rather than hearing a melodious instrument I only heard a computerized voice saying "three". "Three" "Three" "Three" it kept on repeating as I furiously tapped the key. Plus there were only five keys. I thought pianos had a lot more than that. Ridiculous!!!
The rattle on the top of the instrument provided some enjoyment, but not enough to warrant even two stars.
If I could give this item zero stars, I would. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! 』
(OK, but my daughter doesn't really care for it) 『I got this toy when my daughter was about 7 months. She has had it for almost two months and has never really been crazy about it. She plays with it for about 2 minutes and then moves on to other toys. The music is pleasing, but it is not nearly loud enough to actually catch my daughters attention. The speakers are on the bottom of the toy, so if it is on the ground you can barely hear the music, even on the highest setting. I find you have to push the keys just right for it to play music or count too, so my daughter isn't successful every time. My daughter much prefers the V-tech laptop over this toy. Maybe this is great for some babies, but it was a waste of money for mine.』
(Finally a piano that is not annoying!) 『We had the Fisher Price piano that played more contemporary music and that piano has a new home at Grandma's. It was loud and it seemed like it never quit, this piano has the same cause and effect learning without all the annoying noise. I love how you can change to so many different features and it keeps my daughter who is nine months old very entertained.』 『Sing, count, play together! The Baby Einstein Count and Compose Piano features 3 exciting play modes. Piano Mode: Choose to play piano, flute or xylophone sounds.Counting Mode: Introduce your baby to numbers in three languages. Select English, Spanish or French and as baby presses the keys, they will hear numbers one through five in the selected language. Composer Mode: Encourage your baby to conduct a symphony of sound with the touch of their hands. Each press of a key activates melodies and dancing lights. Additional Information: Roller on top with colorful rattle beads, volume control. 4'' H x 9 1/4'' W x 5 3/4'' D. Requires 3 AAA batteries, included.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Winner!) 『I bought this toy for my 4 year old grandson's birthday. He is able to do the activities "solo" with no difficulty. My daughter tells me that she has to take it away form him when it's time for bed... he loves playing it so much. That's good enough for me!!』
(4 yr. old has no interest in this toy) 『I bought this toy for my son's 4th birthday after reading the rave reviews on this site. He seems to be above average in intelligence, and can stay focused for long periods of time. This toy does not capture his interest - not even in the least bit. How it works: On each level, the toy plays a sequence (i.e. count to five, sings a song, names of months in the year, etc.). As the game is verbally saying the sequence, the "gizmos" light up. Each gizmos is assigned to one of the parts of the sequence. Then, the child is expected to activate each gizmo in the correct order of the sequence. (It reminds me EVER SO SLIGHTLY of the game Simon.) If the child activates a gizmo out of sequence, the game plays a 'you got it wrong' series of buzzes. Then the child can try another gizmo until he selects the correct gizmo in the sequence. While watching my son play the game: He has no interest in what the game wants him to do; so he touches various gizmos in the wrong order; which leads to wrong button buzzing; then he's less interested because the unit is just a bunch of buzzing and lights flashing; and he puts it down about 30 seconds laters. Maybe it's just too hard for him; but both my husband and I played it and we find nothing appealing about it either. I wish I could see the kids of all the other reviewers play this because they make it sound like the best game ever. I'm at a complete loss as to what they are seeing that we're not.
UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE: Two days after I wrote the above review, my son picked this game up and didn't want to put it down. I guess it just took him a while to warm up to it; and patience on my part in terms of seeing him eventually enjoy it. This toy is a winner -- but be patient if it seems like a dud at first!』
(good fun) 『Purchased for a 5 year old to give them practice with sequencing and building listening skills. Child loves playing with it, their 7 year old sibling also can't leave it alone. They have fun playing in two player mode when the 5 year old will share. I find it durable. It fell off the kitchen counter and has been dropped by our toddler (who also wants to play with it) and still works great.』
(Perfect for Gifted Toddler) 『My two year old can read and skip count. It can be tough to find toys like this that will stand up to a toddler's abuse but go beyond phonics and counting to ten. This toy fits the bill. He knows much of the information it presents, but not all of it, and with the memory and sequencing skills involved, it's fun and challenging anyway. Plus, operating the "fix-its" probably helps develop fine motor skills.
I think any toddler might enjoy this toy. (Even if a toddler tries it out and isn't ready for it just yet, he'll grow into it.) I allow very few electronic toys in the house and recommend even fewer. This one makes the cut.』
(the best toy I have ever bought!!!) 『i was skeptical at first when i bought this for my 3 yr old son..(hes now 4) but he picked up on it right away and beats me EVERY TIME!! haha - I run a daycare and the 3 yr old girls I have cannot stay focused on it for more then a minute, and dont know how to play it but my son and i play with this EVERY day, no matter what, for at least 20 minutes.. i do wish level 3 was more difficult and had more songs.』 『Twist, roll, push, squeeze and spin the five "Fix-its" to place sections of the alphabet, numbers, days of the week, daily routines, and early science in the right order. Game includes three levels of play so children learn at their own pace and allows for up to two children to play at the same time. Requires 2 "AA" batteries, included.』

Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (World's Toughest Computer) 『I've been saying for a month that I should write a review for this baby laptop. I have a wild 9 month old who likes to push the buttons sometimes but has more fun beating it up, standing on it, walking on it, sitting on it, carries it by the handle, turns it into a see-saw and finds more uses for it every day! We've had it for 3 months and it's still in perfect working condition, even after all the abuse! It's one of his favorite toys. The music never seems to get old to him. The one negative though is that one time, on closing, the lid did pinch his fingers. Didn't stop him from loving his laptop though.. he's even playing with it right now!』
(Durable, cute, 2 volume levels, off button, great!! Screen does NOT crush baby's fingers, don't worry.) 『 My daughter received this as a gift when she was about 6 months old. She has loved it ever since and she's 2 years old now.
She loves the lights, sounds, and music. It's not overly annoying. She's now old enough to recognize the shapes on the keyboard which is really cute.
She loves carrying it around by the handle and playing on it next to Daddy while he is on his laptop.
It's been a must for traveling!
It's thicker than I like, wish the design were a little slimmer, but other than that, we all just love it.
The laptop screen is harder to open than you would think for an infant/toddler - we've usually had to help her until recently. The laptop screen does snap closed when you get to a certain point in closing it, but it's never been a problem with my daughter. I don't even like to use the word "snap" as I wouldn't call it that. NEVER pinched her and she has NEVER cried when she has closed the screen on her fingers, even as a 6 month old. She does it on purpose now a lot of the time, so please don't listen to the other reviewers - this toy is safe. It will not crush your child's fingers.
We love it, highly recommend it!
』
(Overall pleased) 『We bought this for my son when he was about 7 months old, to try to keep him away from our laptops. Well, that failed, but he does enjoy this toy, and it can entertain him for a pretty decent amount of time. The flashing lights on the screen attract him, but they don't strike me as very educational. I don't mind, though. One thing I would change is that my son loves to open and shut the computer. He can shut it easily (and has never hurt his little fingers, as another reviewer said), but he cannot get it open easily. It would be nice if it had some kind of handle or something for the younger babies. But still, overall, my son loves this toy, and I would buy it again!』
(very good toy for babies!) 『We bought this toy for our baby when he was 10 months old. He loves to play with this. It has many great features of educational values also.』
(Sound isn't annoying!) 『i bought this in pink for my 9 month old daughter. i was hoping for a laptop that looked more like a real laptop, that it just doesn't exist for this age group. in any case, she likes this toy well enough. lot of buttons and lights. the sounds aren't annoying to me, and i generally have a very low threshold for noisy kids toys.』 『Your little one will be wired for learning with Baby's Learning Laptop! The colorful keyboard interacts with the bright light-up screen to teach shapes, common objects and feelings. Entertaining sound effects, melodies and a moveable mouse round out the fun. I am glad they finally came out with pink in the recent years. This is the same scooter that is sold in retail outlets for more.』
(Razor Scooter) 『The Scooter was purchased as a Christmas gift so we have no input on this, except that it was a great price and better than the ones in the stores. If it's a nice as the one our grandson has I'm sure his little brother will like it.』
(Grandson's favorite toy) 『I bought this scooter for my 8 year old grandson and he plays with it every day. It's one of his favorite toys. It's very durable, it was purchased to replace one we bought 4 years ago, so I definatly recommend them to all of my friends as presents for their grandchildren. I also recommend the razor 360, he has that too and loves riding it also. 』
(great brand name scooter) 『We bought two of these scooters for our kids and they love them, but the adjustment for the height of the handlebars on one of them broke very early on so now we can only have handlebars up all the way or down all the way. Nice scooters otherwise.』
(Grandson likes his kick scooter) 『We bought this kick scooter for out grandson who just had his 7th birthday. He is enjoying it. His older sisters each have their own scooter, so he feels included when he can use his too. The Razor scooters are great gifts for grandchildren - male and female.』 『The Razor A Scooter is the original kick scooter. Updated deck design with aircraft grade aluminum t-tube and deck. Patented rear fender brake and patented folding mechanism that creates easier storage. Weighs only six pounds and easy to fold and carry.』 『The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.
The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98 mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.
Recommended for ages 5 and older, this version of the Razor A sports pink handlebars, a pink deck logo, and pink wheels, with a max rider weight of 143 pounds. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.
