(T-Ball set is a Homerun!)

(good toy)

(Caution)
We bought this for my son on his 2nd birthday. He immediately loved it. His 3rd birthday is coming up in July and it's amazing how good he's become at whacking the ball off the tee. He'll definitely be ready to join a T-ball league soon, and this playset definitely gave him the practice. As far as outdoor games, this is definitely a must. Great fun all around.

The set came with the tee, a bat and two white balls. The set is entirely made of plastic. In a year, the set still looks good as new.

Highly recommended.

my son loves this. i haven't had it long so hopefully it holds up, but it was a fun christmas present for him. he's two and loves to play baseball, and this allows him to be able to actually hit the ball!
Careful when ordering this if it is a present. I paid $9.99 for shipping and handleing and when it arrived at my house, the company just stuck the shipping sticker on the toys box..NO SHIPPING BOX! Sooo..now my girls are one less present this Christmas because when we came home it was at my front door, and they saw it. USE CAUTION!
The perfect set for the soccer star of the future, this deluxe version comes with everything they need to learn and practice game fundamentals.

(Increased Street Safety)

(Not very durable.)

(best bike mirror ever)

(Good on road bike drop handle bars too!)

(bicycle mirror)
When one has to ride on a street, there is nothing like a rear view mirror to alert him or her to a vehicle approaching too closely from behind, providing an opportunity to know when to move over and out of the way. Additionally, because the Mirrycle MTB rises up at an angle from the handlebar end, it is less likely to brush against branches or other close obstacles. Lastly, if the bike should fall over on its mirror side, the chance of the mirror being damaged is reduced. It is an effective safety accessory which I am very glad to have on my bike.
I've owned three of these, but will buy no more; it's too easily broken. It was easy to install, and it's not too hard to adjust.

The biggest flaw is durability. I bicycle commute 16 miles a day, through a park and on city sidewalks. Even in this rather benign environment, this will get broken or wear out in a few months. The least impact at speed with bushes, tree branches, poles or other obstructions can crack the mirror or break the plastic mount.

Also, a few months of adjusting the mirror via the friction mounts wears them out and the mirror will no longer hold position.

I cannot imagine these mirrors lasting more than 2 or 3 rides on mountain trails.

Best bike mirror I've ever had, easy to install, easily swings out of the way when needed but does not loosen the mechanism. Very adaptable to different handlebars and installation angles. Forget those dime-size helmet mirrors, Cyclists. This is the one!
I have now used 3 types of mirrors for my road bike for both commutes and long tours: Take A Look mirror, the Mirrycycle round "mountain bike" mirror on the bar end, and the Sprintech bar end mirror for drop handlebars.

Short review: I like Mirrycycle the best.

I bought the Take a Look mirror based on the strength of reviews from Amazon and I was a little disappointed.

One strength I was expecting from the other reviews was being able to always see behind me no matter which position I used on the handlebars and without having to move my head like when you look down at the bar end mirror. This was kind of true, but you had to get your head to the same angle. I found the angle for the top of the bar to be very unnatural in the lower grips. It was impossible to tilt my head up that far on my bike with aero bars. In order to see back and to the left while on the brake hoods I usually had to tilt up and twist my head and when down on the lower grips I had to tilt WAY up and twist. You can't check behind you without moving your head because you have to do a lot of sweeping motions to see all around behind you and those are more uncomfortable in the lower positions.

I used Take A Look for a couple weeks commuting every day and doing long rides on the weekend and I sort of got used to sweeping my head around to check behind me, but the deal breaker for me was that most of what I saw while commuting was my backpack. When you have a backpack full of clothes and in a pretty leaned forward road bike position what the mirror sees looking back past your ear is back pack, even when on the top of the handlebars. If you are riding a more upright bike (hybrid, mountain bike, or others) it probably wouldn't be a problem. It also wouldn't be a problem if you had panniers (won't work for me because I have a large laptop that would make panniers severly unbalanced). It was fine on the weekend rides without a backpack.

I found either of the bar end mirrors (Mirrycycle or Sprintech) to be better than the Take A Look. The Sprintech is nice because it is convex and shows a wide area. Some people see that as a minus because it is hard to judge distance, but you shouldn't use the mirror as a substitute for looking behind you, just as a way to alert you that a car is back there somewhere and may warrant a head turn look behind. You can also get good coverage from the mirror from all handle bar positions, but the mirror is a tad small. It doesn't stick out far from the bike so it doesn't get bonked around storing the bike, but your knee can be in the way sometimes.

The Mirrycycle "mountain bike" bar end mirror is the best in my opinion. It goes fine on road bike handlebars. Since it's flat you have to compromise a little bit on the position or move your head a little to see behind you from the different grips, but there is no distortion like a convex mirror. It sticks out from the bike so you can see behind you without obstuction at all times. The downside to sticking out is that when you are entering or leaving the lower grips on the drop handle bars it is a little in the way of your left hand. It's not a big deal. Also when you want to lean the bike on anything the mirror is in the way. It's an annnoyance I don't mind putting up with to have the best view when I ride. It's big so you get a good viewing area. I guess it's not very aero dynamic, but lose some weight and gain some muscle and you can overcome that.

All three mirrors have to be adjusted everytime you ride. There is no set and forget mirror. The Take A Look itself holds position well on the ride, but your glasses never seem to fit exactly the same everytime you put them on and pretty much anything you do with them once you take them off will change the adjustment. This is even worse if you want to take the mirror off and use the glasses between rides (without looking like a dork). Take a Look also takes lots of little adjustments to get right. Sprintech mirror is flimsy and loses adjustment easily, but is also the easiest to adjust by a long shot. You just slide your hand down to the end of the bar and adjust it with your pinky as you ride, takes 2 seconds at most. It's convex and covers a wide area and the mirror doesn't move very far so it's never very far off from a good adjustment. The Mirrycycle mirror is stiff and holds position really well once you set it, but since it sticks out from the side just about anything you do to move or store the bike readjusts it. It takes a little more fine tuning than the Sprintech, but less than the Take A Look.

Of the three I prefer the Mirrycycle mirror.

Very pleased with the product. I had one previously but when my bike fell it broke. Searched all the stores for it but couldn't find it. Was so happy to see it on Amazon. Reasonably priced too. Received it on time and in new condition. Thanks
Convex mirror with its wide field of view is adjustable to any viewing angle. Mounts in minutes with the wrench that is included. Fits inside handlebars with 15.8mm - 23.4mm (.62" to .92") inside diameters.

(Cute)

(Pitched it in the trash.)

(great for teethers)

(Great Learning Tool)

(Like it - but becareful)
My 8 month old loves this, his older brother (22 months) will "read" it to him. He doesn't use it as a teether... it's odd to get into his mouth the "loop" however is chewed on.
This teether is really cute, and my daughter loved to chew on it. HOWEVER, after she had it for about 15 minutes, I noticed a big piece of one of the pages in her mouth... WHO makes a "teething" book with paper pages that peel off? I noticed they were paper labels when I first got it and washed it before I let her chew on it. I was hoping it would stay intact; however, as any mom with a teething baby knows, teething toys get soggy and slobbery, and something with paper labels is OBVIOUSLY not going to stand up to being waterlogged! What a bad idea, and what a disappointment. Money just thrown away!
this book is great my poor sister was at her wits ends with her 10 month old son. he was eating everything he could get his hands on. he could slobber all over the book and all she had to do was wipe it off. its not a popcicle but a close second...great job
I bought this book for my 7 month old granddaughter. She seems to enjoy turning the pages and looking at the pictures and oh yes it is quite tasty.
I like the product as does my daughter, but when she was playing with it her little finger got stuck in between two of the pages and pinched it. She could not remove it herself, I had to open the book to get her finger out.
LeapFrog baby's Number Cruncher Teether Book presents numbers and groupings of familiar friends in a colorful teether book. Soft plastic teethable easy clean pages.

(Yahtzee Game)

(Great beginner set)

(Great Family Game! Highly Recommended!)

(Entertaining for Both Adults and Children)

(You can't go wrong with YAHTZEE!)
This is an old school game that enjoyable for the family, however the cheap way they make these games nowadays, is just plain cheap..!!
My 8 year old loves this game she received for her birthday. It's a noisy family game but lots of fun. I think 8 years is a very good age for this game and just about anyone adult or kid can play this game. It's really nice that the rules aren't too complicated.
"Yahtzee" remains one of the all time great family games. We have a lot of more complicated and newer games, but more often than not no one can agree on which game to play and we tend to default back to Yahtzee.

The rules are not too compliacted and the game play moves fairly quickly, but still allows for talking around the table.

Highly recommended!

Yahtzee is an absorbing game that can be enjoyed by adults as well as by children. If your company has an annual Christmas toy drive for children who would otherwise not receive a present, this would be a great gift to add to the pile. In addition to being fun, this game would help disadvantaged children develop their math skills, learn to estimate probabilities of getting various dice combinations, and hone their strategic thinking abilities.
If you haven't played Yahtzee before, where have you been?? I remember playing this while growing up and still love it to this day. It is a game that anyone can play and great for family and friends. I picked it up recently, because we had lost ours in a move and the kids kept asking for it again. We enjoy playing it on weekends or evenings instead of flipping through the channels on the TV. It's also nice that there is no limit to how many people can play. A TRUE CLASSIC of a game that it a must for your collection.

It's America's all-time number one dice game! Since 1956 players have been rolling classic dice combinations like Full House, Large Straight and Five of a Kind - that's Yahtzee! The unique combination of luck and strategy makes every game an exciting challenge. Can you rack up bonus points by scoring an extra Yahtzee' It's classic shake-and-score action that keeps the fun rolling! For 1 or more players. Contents include: 5 dice, plastic dice cup, scorecards, 10 plastic bonus chips, and rules. Color of parts may vary.
Anyone who's ever done it knows the indescribable feeling--getting Yahtzee in one roll! Of course, this five-of-a-kind phenomenon only happens once in a blue moon. The rest of the time, players must be content with a three-roll full house, large or small straight, or any other combination of five dice. In this seductive game of luck and strategy, players have three tries each turn to roll dice in hopes of obtaining the elusive Yahtzee--or racking up points in one of the 12 other scoring categories. For a real challenge, go for a bonus Yahtzee--two or more in one game! This parlor classic has captivated and vexed players, young and old, since 1956. Game includes five dice, dice cup, 10 bonus chips, score pad, and instructions (English and Spanish). For one or more players.--Emilie Coulter

(More fun from Melissa&Doug)

(Not just for aspiring burglars and escape artists!)

(WE LOVE THIS TOY)

(2nd Child and still like new)

(Latches Board keeps busy toddlers occupied)
If you're looking for a multi-challenging toy for a young child (1-3) this is sure to keep them happy. They will learn colors, numbers, and animals while using their hands to operate interesting latches.

Like other reviewers have stated, I found some of the latches to be stiff. The latch at 2 is especially so.

Overall, a beautiful teaching "puzzle".

My two year old loves this! My kiddo is dexterous like you wouldn't believe, and has a passion for opening and closing doors as well as removing covers and lids (electrical socket safety plugs, the backs of remotes, change purses, bottle tops, baby wipes) and opening clasps (wallet, watches, bracelets). If your child is the type who's always looking for new and exciting ways to raise your blood pressure with feats of exquisite motor control, this latchboard is a great way to redirect that energy and curiousity.

I remember reading some horrified parent exclaim that perhaps teaching young kids to open latches and locks is a dangerous idea, but realistically speaking - the latches featured here probably aren't used in a safety capacity anyway. (Unless you hide your dynamite behind a miniature chain locked door. And you might want to rethink that.)

The thing is also virtually indestructable. I can say this with confidence because it was "tested" by the brats next door, and those boys could destroy a padded cell. The colors and pictures are bright and appealing, too; it's remarkably well made.

My only beef is the cost of Melissa and Doug products, but since it's hand made I can understand why it's necessary. Keep up the fine work, guys.

Even my 7 year old will sit and fiddle with all the locks for a few minutes. It's just "that" intriguing for kids. I bought it for my 2 year old and he loves it. So does my 3 year old nephew. This toy is so cool, that the kids will fight over it. So buy two!!!
I bought this for my daughter when she was about 2 1/2. She enjoyed figuring out how to open all the latches and we had fun together talking about the animals, colors, and counting. She has played with the toy off and on for almost 2 years now. My son is 19 months old and discovered it in his sister's room several months ago. He dragged it out to the family room and has played with it nearly every day. He loves opening and closing the doors and trying to figure out the latches. The toy seems to be extremely durable as both kids have fought over it and dropped it and it still looks like new.
My Grandson is 2&very busy. He rarely sits down,so I bought the Latches Board to see if it would interest him. The first time he played with it, he sat for 45 minutes playing with it. I was amazed at how it kept his interest&he continues to love playing with the various latches, knocking on the doors&peeking inside to see who is in there. I love it!
Incredible value and superior craftsmanship make this item a top seller and childhood favorite. Brightly colored, smooth-sanded pieces help build early shape, color and size differentiation skills.

(Easy to navigate)

(Tech Toybox Price Gouging)

(leap frog educational game: Kindergarten)

(Leapster 2 is a hit!)

(Held her attention!!)
One of my goals in getting games for our son's Leapster is that I wouldn't have to constantly help him. This game is easy to navigate and doesn't seem to frustrate him. It also has just enough of a challenge, so I don't think it's too easy either. I bought this at Wal-Mart for $18 (two weeks ago), so this price it a little steep.
Tech Toybox is selling this for $64.99 on Amazon. What a ripoff. They are taking advantage. Amazon seems to let this price gouging happen but will soon figure out that they're losing customers due to price gouging by their partners. Amazon should list suggested retail price on all items where possible if they care about their customers
Granddaughter loves this game, even her brother who is 3 seems to be able to play well with it.
My 5 year old daughter received the Leaptster 2, a Disney princess game and the kindergarten game for Christmas. The Kindergarten game is by far her favorite. She would play with it for hours if I let her. My 3 year old loves it too. There are many fights over the Leapster and the Kindergarten game.
We just got the Leapster2 for our 4.5 year old and chose a couple of games - you want to be picky since they are expensive and you don't want so many as to overwhelm them. This is one of her favorites and she delights in getting points to buy the robot parts. She comes running in the room to shout "I spelled a word" and that she got to complete a robot. She also enjoys the Pet Pals game. This is a great educational toy, but can you will need to limit their time (she would play all day if I let her). The Disney Princess Enchanted Tales game did not hold her attention nearly as long, and she is a princess fanatic.

(lego star wars droids)

(Fun and more fun)

(LEGO'S, SNOW, AND SANTA)

(Fun for 12 year old)

(super cool)
I gave this as a gift to nephews who are both Lego and Star Wars fans, and this was a hit. And the price was right, given today's economy.
My grandson and I put this together and enjoyed a great time together. He is a Star Wars nut and is always playing with it. Lego makes a fun and durable toy. I recomend any Lego toy.
My grandchildren all LOVE LEGO. This year, due to the weather, none of my
purchases arrived before Christmas. They were disappointed to learn that
Santa was not able to land on my roof due to ice&snow.
I should have ordered earlier and/or the snow should have come AFTER
Christmas.

My son received this as a gift and it was a lot of fun for him to put together and he also really liked the mini-figures that came with it. It is now displayed proudly in his bedroom.
my nephew loved this. parts are small for a 5 year old...the toy is significantly smaller than the box. :( I thought this toy was going to be bigger...but he still loved it!

(Fun!!)

(go baby go is an excellent choice for name...)

(Don't buy, very dangerous)

(worth the money)

(Grandson loves it)
This zebra is easy to put together and extremely stable. My granddaughter loves it! It bounces, turns and plays music. It helps with balance and has given her hours of fun! Highly recommend.
this is a very well built toy and sturdy...my greatgrandaughter is attached at the 'hip'...an excellent choice for a child of 1 year and older...may take some children a few months longer, but they will love it...
We bought this toy for our son's first brithday. He started bouncing and seemed to enjoy it very much. There is no safety belt. He fell off a a few times and we were able to catch him. But one time he fell off very fast and we had to take him to the emergency room. I think that this toy should have a minimum height requirement instead of an age guideline and can be very dangerous. I would help if it had a seat belt.

I don't recommend this toy for young infants unless you try it first and both of their feet can touch the ground.

VERY easy to put together. 12 month old loves the music, but can't quite get on by herself yet. Think she will grow to love it.
I bought this for my Grandson's first birthday. When we put him on it it scared him and he would not go near it. My daughter put it up and and when he was 15 months old my daughter brought it back out. We can't keep him off of it. He goes crazy, jumping and spining on it. I love to see him on it he loves it but, he calls it a horsie now that he is 18 months old. Great toy but I think it is better for toddlers over 12 months old.
This lively zebra really encourages baby’s physical development through bouncing, spinning, and having a ball! Fun sounds, delightful songs and dancing lights reward movement while enhancing baby’s eye-hand coordination, motor skills, balance and coordination as he bounces and spins. The wide, sturdy base offers stability, and the easy-grip handlebar features busy activities for added fun.
Bounce, spin, and dance away with the Fisher Price Baby Gymtastics Bounce and Spin Zebra. Ideal for ages 12 to 36 months this lively zebra enhances motor skills as the child learns coordination, balance, and how to climb on and off. Sure to become every youngster's favorite toy, five uplifting songs play as the child bounces and turns 360 degrees. Fun sounds reward movement and strengthen auditory skills. The Bounce and Spin also has an activity handlebar with a rolling ball to encourage eye-hand coordination.

Fun for the Little One
The wide, sturdy base of the Bounce and Spin Zebra provides stability and support, even with hard bouncing and spinning. And to prevent falls, the Zebra locks until the child is sitting properly in the seat. It also has an off-soft-loud switch that little fingers can't turn. Orange, easy-grip handlebars allow the toddler to hold tight as they take their wild ride. For even more fun, a ball spins in the center with lights and music. This toy is relatively low to the ground, so that most children can climb on and off by themselves. Putting together the Zebra is easy, but be aware that the carton contains small parts for adult use only. This product requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).

Features
Better than a boring old horse, this lively Zebra really encourages physical development. It comes as no surprise that the Bounce and Spin Zebra won the Hot Toy award from Toys 'R Us in 2006, and accolades from other companies. Parents get a lot of use out of this toy, as children can play with it until they are about three years old. The zany Zebra won't tilt under pressure and it has an irresistibly cute appearance that kids love. Five fun songs and activity handlebars keeps active kids bouncing, busy, and happy.

This toy encourages baby's physical development through bouncing and spinning.

(They love it!)

(This is a GREAT lower cost present)

(How do they do that!!)

(3-d chalk)

(We love it)
I bought this for my 2grandsons,and they just love it!I would recommend this item to every one who has kids!
Ten to fifteen dollars for a set of chalk probably seems expensive but this really is different and fun. The kids used over half of it the first day they got it and played with it for hours. It's also a pretty good way to teach them how the optical illusion of 3D works.

Considering how many different toys are out there in this price range this is one of the best for the price. It's fun for the kids, since it's outdoor chalk it's not messy (inside :), it's educational and creative, and it doesn't take up a lot of room (i.e. it doesn't junk up the play room) or make annoying noises (or require batteries). It really is just about the perfect small gift.

As a present that the kids will enjoy and the parents will still invite you over it's ideal.

All I can say is why didn't they have this when I was little!! The 3 d chalk is really cool. It is like the 3 d movies except the drawings don't fly at you. Makes the regular chalk seem old and boring. The only thing is the package comes with only one pair of 3 d glasses so only one person can use it at a time. I wish the chalk was bigger because of the price you have to use the chalk sparingly. I still recomment this chalk and intend on buying more. I guess I can use it as a reward system.
this 3-d chalk is awsome, the whole family cant help but want to join in the fun.all my grandkids went crazy for this and everyone had a lot of fun.had no luck finding it in stores, either they didnt carry it or they were constantly out. amazon had plenty of choices and always in stock. shipped fast.
My kids and I used these to decorate the sidewalk and driveway. The pictures really do look 3D. The large chalk is much easier for small hands to hold and doesn't break into pieces. This is even better paired up with the Crayola sidewalk paint. Great contrast. Washes off when it rains or hose it down.
Everything kids need to create incredible 3-D art.

(Looooooooove this!)

(Ice cream fun)

(daughter LOVES this toy set)

(loved it, great toy)

(Toy ice cream set)
Wow! This ice cream set is so much fun!! Out of all the kitchen items my son has - this is the set he plays with the most. He just loves to use the magnetic scoop to scoop the ice cream into the cones. So much fun and very well made! Great quality! The sushi set is awesome too!
This toy went over big. The kids loved it and played with it steady. Everybody got lots of ice cream cones. Too bad there were only two cones in the box, but great fun.
My four-year-old loves this set. From my own perspective (as dad) I didn't think it would be all that fun; but what do I know... It is especially great with her play kitchen. She sets up an ice cream stand with it. It's good for about 30 minutes of interactive play. Not so much a toy they would use all alone very often.

The only flaw is that it is a little bit of a challenge for little ones to scoop the ice cream out of the box.

The set is quite durable, as we left it in a rainstorm (oops) which only affected the box/tray that holds everything. We let it dry for several days and it seems ok, albeit a little warped. The ice cream, cones, and scoopers seem unaffected despite being submerged. (which means it is at least washable)

He absolutely loved it from the second he saw it in the box. Great set, helps to teach hand-eye coordination, balancing, and other motor skills. All of the pieces are very sturdy. Magnets that hold ice cream to scoops, cones, and each other are well-concealed inside of the parts and are strong enough to hold the pieces together but also require the toddler to keep the cone somewhat upright to keep them stacked. That's a great feature, whether it was intended or not.
Excellent product and price would recommend and purchase from this company again good price and service.
