(Great for entertainment) 『I wasn't sure how much fun the game would be when I purchased it, but as soon as it arrived I put it to the test with my siblings. We spent hours playing it, unsure of exactly when we would stop. I next played it with my friends and we got pretty competitive with it. I like the twist that you don't win for being the person who gets the right answer, but instead you win for betting on the person who is correct. Although, you do get bragging rights for being the correct guesser, of course. Very fun to play, easy to get into, and worth the money. My only negative comment on this game would be the 30 second timer. It doesn't work very well, but oh well. It's not a big prop to the game and easily replaceable with a better timer if you choose to use it.』

I received the game for Christmas from my Grandma, who was very excited about it. I took one look at the betting mat, and said to myself: "Great--another lucky game" (I prefer strategy and competitive games like Monopoly, which you CAN play FAST by the way!). But since my grandparents had purchased it for me, we played it the very next day with them. It was a BLAST! Like I said, whether you enjoy betting/gambling, trivia, or just plain LUCK! It's all there! How it works is a piece of trivia is read allowed (ie: what percent of women in the United States are left-handed) and then everyone bets on the number. Every guess is a number. Of course no one REALLY knows the exact answer (unless they just got through reading statistics online) but it's a lot of fun to place your guess within a minute. Ooh and aaahh over all the different guesses (and laugh a lot at the really ridiculous ones!) and then BET on which guess you think is CORRECT. After this, the real answer is read aloud and if you bet on either the exact right answer, or the number closest to but not over the right answer, you win even more mula! If you guessed and bet wrong, you lose whatever you bet.
And if you're not a trivia freak or a wildly lucky gambler--but maybe just enjoy being in charge, being a "host" and reading aloud, then just take the job of reading the questions aloud, making sure no one goes over time in their guesses or betting (ie: keep an eye on the included 30 second glass), and have the fun of everyone waiting breathlessly for you to read the right answer and make some of the players so rich there aren't enough chips, and some broke! I personally enjoy the job of just reading the card and being sure no one goes overtime, as I am a terrible guesser :)

(Son cannot put it down.) 『We bought this and LeapFrog® Leapster® 2 Learning Game System - Green for our son for Christmas. He is 6 and a big fan of Star Wars. He is the youngest in his first grade class and has the interest to read but is developmentally a bit behind them. This game makes learning fun, because he has little idea that he is even playing a game. Instead he is helping the rebels defeat the evil empire.
It is set around episode 5 or 6. I have played it myself a little bit to see what it was like. They throw in small little games to assist with the main mission. These games build on vocabulary and reading skills without being in your face. Its quite ingenious and a credit to Leap Frog for the way it is subtly done. So much so he has hardly put it down since Christmas.

(WOW) 『OK, so you won't learn anything from this toy, BUT these things are hypnotic to watch. If you saw the commercial on TV you know the more the merrier. One thing we learned quickly is you need something to contain them or they WILL find every crack, nook, hole, and seemingly other dimension to disappear into. All you need is something flat, smooth, with about a 1/2 inch lip on it to contain them. These things are amazing. If they turn upside-down they will right themselves. There only drawback is that the button battery doesn't last very long. The baby boomers out there like me will remember the vibrating football game where the table vibrated and the players moved across the metal field. I think the guy that invented these things remembered it too. Oh well, GOOD FOR HIM !!!』
(More Entertainment Value than Robots that cost 20 Times as Much!) 『I am a teacher and in the summer I teach Robotics and I also run a Science Camp. Most of my purchases for the camp are more expensive items... things in the $50-$200 price range. I bought this on a whim thinking it might be a little fun. I truthfully didn't expect much from it. Around the same time, I bought a Wowwee Mr. Personality (MSRP $250), a Wowwee Tribot (MSRP $99), and a small Innovation First 6 legged walker (I forget the name of it - MSRP $14.99).
Out of all of these robots, the tiny, inexpensive ($8.15) bug gets the most play and the most attention. My students are in awe of it and we have had many discussions of how it is constructed and how it works.
I've dropped it several time and it always continues to run. If it is flipped on its backside it'll turn itself over in moments. The only place it struggles running it carpet. While it still vibrates, it does not move forward much when it makes its way to a carpeted surface.
At any rate it is one of about 20 different robots I own and it is both the cheapest and the best. I found a birthday gift for all of my nephews as well!!』
(Darn good Cat toy as others have said!) 『Got this for my little sister for Christmas and she kept saying, "THank you! Thank you! I've always wanted one of these!!" and she got up and gave me a big hug... it was awesome. Little kids in general (she is 6), love these kind of things, things that you can interact with a little, that actually move pretty damn good on our Wood floor!
It is very fast and speedy, it likes to go everywhere, even under the couch and back out on it's own... but you got to watch for it though, where it goes, because until you turn it off it's gonna keep moving. It looks pretty cool on the outside as well.. You can get different colors if you wanted to.. such as Blue, Red, etc. Also on their website..
One other thing, it's a pretty good Cat toy as well, Cats will chase it all over the place...
