(just as described!!!)
(a great way to learn to hit a baseball)
(Doesn't hold up to 3 year old play....)
(cscarter)
There is some small assembly when you get this toy, but it's super easy, and takes five minutes. It works fantastic. I even had fun hitting the balls in my house. My son is 3 y.o and likes hitting the ball from the t-stand. The balls so far have not gotten stuck. I do wish it came with more balls, b/c you spend so much time chasing them. Overall, does what it promises, no problems, and I would recommend this toy. This is a great product. My 4 year old son and his 2 year old sister have already played with the batter a lot!!! It definitely helps with skill set for my 4 year old and I think it will do so for some time to come. The only suggestion I would have is 3 balls are not enough....contact Fisher Price for more!!! I bought this toy for my grandson's 4th birthday. He loves baseball and really enjoys this toy. He likes to have the ball pop up rather than use the toy as a tee, but he does sometimes use the tee. After he hits the ball, he runs around the yard, then picks up the ball and starts over again. I think this is a wonderful toy to help train a child to hit a ball. It saves the parent from having to stand their and keep throwing the ball to the child. I definitely recommend this toy for any child (boy or girl) who loves to play baseball! My three old grandson played with this using the middle level of pitching balls for about 10 minutes when the batteries had to be replaced! I was very disappointed in it's quality. This toy is great fun for my 2 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter. My order was shipped promptly and received in less than a week. Thanks!!! Batter-up! Three fun ways to play help kids learn to hit like a pro. Beginners hit from the tee. When they're ready for a little more challenge, a simple adjustment converts this battery powered trainer to pop-up pitch play for rookies. Balls automaticall A reasonable gripe against a great number of sporting good themed toys has been their lack of versatility. Once a kid has surpassed the skill level engendered by the toy, the toy is pretty much useless, offering no further challenge to the burgeoning athlete. The Grow To Pro series, on the other hand, evolves with the kid presenting increasing challenges along the way. In this three level baseball training set, young kids can practice first hitting the ball off of a tee to build fundamental coordination skills. Then on the "rookie" level, the ball pops up from ground level as kids practice smacking the ball out of the air. Finally, the "pro" level is a pitching machine, lobbing the ball without a prohibitive amount of velocity, to the batter standing up to ten feet away. Four D batteries are required but not included.--Charlie Williams Rerations < Triple Hit Baseball >

(Great toy)
(Love it)
(GREAT toy)
(another great outdoor toy from Sprig!!) My son loves it! I love it because it's a "green" product. Did I mention that they SMELL great? Not kidding! :) Bought this toy as a gift for my 3 year old nephew, who loves trucks and the outdoors. It really does have a great smell (like a lumber yard), and the parts are movable, and look useful and durable. It's a decent size too. The packaging mentions how it is made of reclaimed wood and plastic which is nice since it's a gift. My only complaint is that there is a spot in the truck for a driver, but no figures came with it. We got this for our son for his third birthday. My husband and I are pleased with the materials used to make and package the product. My son has lots of fun playing with this in the yard. It is sturdy enough for him to scoop up egg-sized rocks. It is also easy for him to use it. I'm recommending this company's products to all of my friends. and eco-friendly too!
bought it with the dump truck - hours of fun.
After purchasing the excavator, we wanted to add another Sprig Truck to our collection and this front loader is great!!! simple, lightweight for our little one to carry, and it smells like a wood shop!! great job Sprig!! keep the toys coming. Give your little one the tools of today to help them build a little greener. Sprig Toys Eco-Trucks are made in Europe to exacting standards and use the exclusive Sprigwood¿ wood-plastic composite. Each truck uses bits of recycled wood&plastic materials to create an earth-friendly toy that is durable, highly mechanical and has less impact from manufacturing on our earth. The Eco-Trucks Loader uses off-road wheels and freewheeling chassis to easily push over any terrain. The lifting arm and bucket hold sand loads securely and the mechanical dumping action is sand friendly and easy to use thanks to the Easy-grab handle. Sprig Toys Eco-Trucks Loader freewheeling chassis with mechanical scoop and lift action, easy-grab handle and tilting cab. Built in Europe using eco-friendly Sprigwood¿ wood-plastic composite. Digging, loading and dumping. That¿s a tried-and-true formula for dirt pile and sandbox fun that we simply won¿t mess with. Sprig Eco-Trucks are fully equipped with flip-open cabs and easy-grab handles, making each freewheeling vehicle inviting and a cinch to maneuver. The scooping action and rotating chassis of the Excavator turns serious digging into child¿s play. The Loader does the trio¿s heavy lifting, and the Dump Truck gets the job done with its tilting cab, locking bed and swing-out tailgate. The playful, cartoon-like designs of our chunky vehicles make them irresistible to preschoolers, and parents love the eco-friendly, battery-free, kid-powered construction. (Leapster Wall E game)
(Wall-E is a HIT!)
(Great learning tool)
(My kid loved it!) My 4 year old loves this game. He doesn't think of it as an educational tool, he thinks of it like any video game. I like it because he is learning so much and it keeps him busy! I often hear him laughing and giggling because of Wall-E's funny antics. I recommend this game to anyone. I bought this game for my son, 5, among other games for the Leapster 2 he got for Christmas. This is the only game he wants to play. He makes snowflakes with the picture making part. He knew his planets and the order previous to playing this game, but now he likes to show off when he doesn't make mistakes. I think it is a must have for children with a Leapfrog gaming system. Friendly characters and fun games. Our 4 year old received the leapster and 2 highly recommended games for preschoolers (Petpals and Learn to Draw) for Christmas. It was his first 'handheld' game and I was hopeful he would enjoy it.
He liked the bunny game that came with Leapster but the other games didn't seem to challenge him enough to keep his interest for long.
On a hunch, I let him choose his own game from the store and he picked Wall-E. He LOVES IT!!! He plays for hours at a time and is still discovering new games/levels to challenge him. I can't wait to try more games.
My son is 5 in kindergarten and uses many of the leap frog tools as part of his home school. This particular one is engaging and with the rewards on the leapster web site, I have found he is becoming a child eager to learn. My kid loved this game. It stays pretty true to the movie and incorporates plenty of learning about the solar system into basic game play. It is similar to most Leapster games, so experienced kids can pick it up pretty quickly. The only annoying part is the "info-mercial" on recycling that repeats every time you play that part of the game! Help Wall-E find his place in the universe! Ride a rocket through the solar system and use your letter recognition, spelling and mathematic skills to blast robots, form constellations and sort recycling stacks. Leapster2 players can connect online for extra activities and rewards. And with the LeapFrog® Learning Path, parents can see what their child is learning. All Leapster games work with all Leapster systems. Rerations < LeapFrog® Leapster® Learning Game: Wall-E >

(Tube Float)
(Rawkin)
(River fun!) We took this out to the local river, and it got a dime sized hole within the first 30 minutes. The tube became flat within 5 minutes, and my little daughters and husband had to pull out in a patch of poison ivy. Because the tube is so large, it is difficult to maneuver. Be careful. It's HUGE! We have a 33' round above ground pool and this float is perfect for it. My husband and I can float around the pool and talk without looking around for eachother. The cooler isn't in the way and is great for putting drinks or towel, phone, etc in but know that the lid does not fit properly. The float would be great out on the river as many have said but it's just as wonderful in our backyard pool! Perfect for two people to use tubing down the river. it had a small storage compartment to add either drinks with ice or keep your items dry. nice mesh bottom to keep you from sinking in the middle of the tube. also very affordable. This was awesome! I bought it for the river, and thought you could maybe 2 or 3 beers in it. I was wrong! You can put an entire case in. It's huge! The only down side is you're really far out of the water- and it's hard to get back in if you are in deepish water (Especially if the water is moving) But all in all, really durable, and really fun. We had 9 people there, and everyone wanted to be in the tube. We're going to have to get another one! I love my river raft! We used this last weekend and even got a fishing lure stuck. We put on the fix and kept on going! We plan to spend our weekends floating on the river. A great time! Intex river run ii with ice cooler. Seats 2 adults. (Durable ~ Educational ~ Fun)
(Pizza Party!)
(Toy wooden pizza.)
(Grandchildren love it!) My son received this for his second birthday. It was an instant hit. He likes to cut the pizza and roll out the dough. (We received a rolling pin as well.) He is less interested in the toppings. So, three stars for that.
But only three stars because it had terrible chemical off gassing for weeks after it came out the packaging. Nasty, nasty chemical smell. And the paint is really poorly applied with missing spots, chips, and already some wear and tear from very modest use. Like a lot of MIC M&D, this is really junky. Now if only Plan Toys made a better version... My four year old and two year old love to play with the Melissa&Doug pizza pie. It is the one toy they actually share nicely. Everything else we have to get two of. Their is a pizza cutter, spatula, six pizza slices and 50 toppings which store neatly in a wooden box. The recommended age is 3+, but my two year old fortunately does not place toys in her mouth. With that being said, the topping pieces are on the smaller side, but big enough that a child under the age of three should not be able to swallow. We love all Melissa&Doug toys. They are very durable, educational and fun. I purchased this game for my special education classroom. It has been a great tool in helping my students learn to take turns, make requests, and increase vocabulary - all while playing with one of their favorite foods! The durable wood pieces make it sturdy enough for my students. I wish that the box had a lid on it to make storage easier. There are lots of pieces with no where to go but on the floor. I love Melissa and Doug toys, they are a little pricier than some but are quality poducts, the kids love to play with them, they are very realistic and they last forever. Whith a little care my grand daughter's children will be playing with these toys. Wooden toys are great. My grand children are still playing with Fisher Price Toys that were my daughter's, and Melissa and Doug toys are of the same caliber. Like all Melissa and Doug toys this is well made and durable. My grandchildren love playing with it. I have bought one for both of my daughter's families with young children. It is educational as well as fun. Attention pizza lovers! Create your own personal pizza with this sturdy wooden pizza set. Six thick slices served in a brightly colored tray; complete with cutter; spatula; and over 50 toppings stored neatly in a wooden box. A tremendous value any way you slice it! (Great Product!)
(Cute but VERY disappointing - pretend use only)
(So close...BUT...)
(Do not waste your money) My girls have had this tea set for years (gift from grandparent). They love it and play with it all the time. It's durable and the music still works. I, however, HATE this toy! It is the most annoying toy in my house. You even bump it slightly or knock it over and it makes noise. Keep it where the kids can play with it but you can't hear it! I bought this tea set as a christmas present for my 2 year old niece. She plays with the set, in some form, everyday! She loves the little song it plays as well! Great product! After searching multiple stores for a cute, but not to girlie tea set, I was so excited to come across this one for my 2 1/2 year old. Very disappointed to open the box at home and find that all the cups have two small holes in them that cause them to leak if used right handed!
Called FP to find out that European regulations require that they have the holes to prevent children from sufficating themselves with the cups. This was NOT noted on the box - (after we saw the holes we re-read the box and re-looked at the pictures on it several times to make sure)in any way and was not evidant until the box was opened (and unreturnable).
Since we are pretty sure he won't sufficate himself with a tea cup (after all he does drink out of cups every day with no ill effect) we have continued to play with these making sure to fill cups only half way and holding them in our left hands so that the holes are on the back side of the cups! Still continuing to search for a tea set you can actually use that is suitable for a boy. I don't know how I missed all the reviews that warned of the holes in the cups. This looks so cute and I was so excited and now I am looking at the OTHER tea set my granddaughter got for Christmas - a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Say Please set with no holes in the cups and a delightful bubbling sound while pouring - much cuter that the sounds this set makes which is that musical whine.
Best feature of the Musical set - the tray and spoons. There are 4 cups (don't forget the cups have HOLES!!??).
Best feature of the Say Please set - much cuter teapot (with a "tea bag" in the "tea" inside the pot), and you can choose from 3 settings that change up what happens when you open the lid OR pour. It makes boiling sounds, pouring sounds, says please and thank you and other things. The 2 cups are cute, sturdy and actually hold "tea". Additionally, there is a little plate of really cute cakes to serve as well. One of the settings is for the cakes, which are shapes - a circle, a triangle and a square!
The Say Please set beats the tar out of the Musical Tea Set, just buy it somewhere else because the price difference is huge. My tea set gift was a loser except for the tray and spoons which my 2 year old granddaughter uses with her COOL tea set. Darn it... Cute to look at, but my 2 year old wants to use water to pour and drink, but there are holes in the cups...now I have to throw it away because she has a melt down because she can't put the water in it and has no desire to just sit there and stare at it...Buy a set that your kids can actually play with and don't waste your money on this one. There’s something magical about a tea party! Tip this teapot over for magic pouring sounds, or press the lid to hear a tea time tune! Set includes four cups, saucers and spoons, plus a creamer and sugar bowl with lid, and a tray for serving treats. Requires 2 replaceable button-cell (LR44 or equivalent) alkaline batteries. Every child should have a tea set somewhere in the toy box, not just for feeding favorite dollies and teddies, but also for practicing tea-party manners before a special party or dinner. This molded plastic set is made with the thoughtful design and extra-durable materials of most Fisher-Price toys, with the added bonus of a jolly musical teapot. It plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when the top of the lid is pressed, and also provides a "magical" chiming noise when the pot is poured (requires two button-cell batteries; included). The set includes four teacups in pastel shades, matching saucers, a sugar bowl, a creamer, and four white spoons. Everything fits onto a sturdy lavender tray with large handles and a built-in stand for the teapot.--Marcie Bovetz Rerations < Fisher-Price Musical Tea Set >

(Great Way To Play Monopoly)
(Great family game)
(Great card game to spend time playing with friends)
(Loads of fun!) This is a great "travel" Monopoly game. The one remark I want to make though, is that there are probably too many "money" cards and not enough "rent" cards. In other words, the money supply seems to far exceed the money demand in this game.
So, what you normally end up with, are the losers of this game finishing with a ton of money in their banks because they never had to pay out much -- not very realistic to have losers who are very wealthy.
To fix this problem, buy two of these games and take all the "rent" cards out of one game and add them to your other game. This will make money a more valuable resource since the increased # of "rent" cards will present a larger danger to each player's bank.
This will also have the effect of rewarding players who lay down property cards so that they can collect rent from them -- the whole reason that you want to own property (and play the game of Monopoly) in the first place, right?
I also think this increases strategy somewhat because it puts you at a decision between using your property to collect valuable money or hoarding the property in your hand to keep it protected. As the game is now, it's pretty much a no-brainer that, of the three types of cards, the property card is the last type you want to lay down (unless you have very powerful action card). This is a great way to play monopoly and fun for all age groups - not just children. I wasn't sure what to expect from this game, but I am really glad I purchased it. The overall concept is the same as the Monopoly board game, but doesn't take all day to play. (However, it's so fun you will want to play more than one game at a time!)
The directions actually make it seem more complicated that it is. After one game, it was easy to play and understand.
I would recommend this for ages 10 or 11 through adult. Wonderful fun game, played it with 2 and 3 players and we love it. However anymore and you may run of or cards to draw or you may have to alter the winning conditions for the extra players or just have another deck of cards. Players can compete by bankrupting other players and force them to pay using their cash or property or just use action cards to still it in crooked deals. Great laughs. I purchased this over the weekend, and took it to a family gathering. This is the first time that people have ever been asking to play Monopoly with me. It required strategy and thinking like the regular game, but moves much faster.
The ONLY negative that I could see is that the instruction sheet is very poorly written. It makes it seem much more complicated than it really is.

(Not worth $35!)
(Great except for the sounds, which didn't last a month)
(Great toy for a toddler)
(happy great nephew)
After I ordered this Lil' Mover's Airplane, unfortunately, I realized that I could order it much cheeper through Fisher Price and recieve it within a reasonable time. Amazon offered Free Shipping, that made this toy wait to be shipped for almost 20 days. Beware of the free Shipping! it cost you more in the long run. I went ahead and ordered directly through Fisher Price and saved 11.00. I thought Amazon was supposed to give you the best deals, evidentially not. You are taking advantage of your customers. Since I am now aware of this happening I will be more careful, if I order through Amazon again and I will inform others to be more careful as well.
Please beware of what the prices are, who wants to spend more, 11.00 more!
Diane
1. This plane is too bulky for any kind of pretend play involving flying - so kind of beats the whole idea of buying a toy airplane!
2. The four or five pre-recorded sounds get stale in like 4 minutes.
3. There is very limited motion/activity in the toy itself.
My son has taken to using it as a storage box for his Lego mega blocks and the only thing he finds interesting in it is the people, which he has taken out and plays with separately. He also refuses to call the toy an airplane and instead calls it "car" and "truck" interchangeably.
Not worth $35. Maybe if the price were more like $10-15, it would be a nice colorful piece of plastic on wheels to add to the clutter, but definitely not worth the high price tag!!! My daughter loves this toy with the sounds, music, and little people. After a few weeks, I thought the batteries were dying because the sounds and music started sounding a bit possessed. However, new batteries did not fix the problem. Too bad. It was a great toy and she'll still play with it, but it's just not the same without the music. I gave it 3 stars since the music died so quickly. I purchased this for my 18 month old and two months later, he still plays with it every day. He also enjoys that LP School Bus, but I think the airplane is his favorite. He enjoys "flying" it around and making the motor sound. I recommend this toy for any toddler, especially boys. I enjoyed my shopping experience on amazon.com. This was my first year utilizing the service that my family has raved on about. The toy was awesome. I had it shipped to me first because I wanted to check the quality before sending it onto my great nephew. I was told it was the first gift he opened and they couldn't get him to open anything else so they had to hide it for a little while. Thank you soooo much. High and low, high and low; up in the sky and away they go! Lights, sounds, talking, and a fun sing-along song help little imaginations take flight while they learn about "high" and "low." Little People figures wiggle and wobble as kids spin the wheel, a "Ready for take-off…here we go!" Diminutive pilots in training can let their imagination take flight with this stocky, swooshy, wiggly-wobbly airplane. Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilot’s windshield, a handle over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, herseat…we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree design on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port--airport, that is. What’s not tolove? Check out the entire line of Lil’ Movers vehicles. Three AA batteries required (not included). (Nice set but no rules included!)
(Really heavy Bocce set)
(bocce ball set)
(Love Them!) We've been very pleased with this set.... durable, substantial, attractive, and have bought a few more to give as gifts. The set itself is of really high quality. I like the carrying case, makes taking it down to the beach easy. On the downside there are no 'rules of the game' included, so unless you know the rules you just have to make up your own! I am an amateur Bocce player. These Bocce balls are REALLY heavy -- too heavy for my comfort, as a strictly-for-fun player. For me, they are too heavy to carry around and too heavy to throw. Perhaps they are more suited to more serious players. I ordered a bocce ball set which arrived as promised, It was in good shape, and it was exactly what I wanted. I had tried to order another set previously from someone else, and they never informed me they were out of stock, so I was upset and went to Amazon and got what I wanted, when I wanted and and even a lesser price. I was most pleased. I bought these for my husband for Father's Day. We go to the beach quite often and usually rent a set for the week. It's so nice to have our own set to use. It is great fun for the whole family! We love them! This set of finely ground Bocce balls and complete court marking kit can turn your backyard into a fun, competitive bocce arena in just minutes. Fun for backyard barbecues and sunny afternoons at the park, the internationally popular game of Bocce is similar to lawn bowling. The Park and Sun Sports BB-109 Bocce Pro Set includes 109-millimeter pallino ground balls, a set of bocce balls, and a distance marker. A handy carrying bag completes the set. Great for all ages and skill levels, you'll have a grand time playing this competitive game all summer long. Rerations < Park&Sun BB-109 Bocce Pro Set >

(LOVE this item!)
(PERFECT!!!!)
(Fantastic Product)
(Great quality, great fun) great buy, my son (1yr 6mos old) loves to crawl through it and my daughter (4 mos/old) loves to lay in it and play with her mobile toys, came at a cheap price compared to other items of this type. easy assembly too! I purchased this tunnel for my 11 week old baby and he LOVES it! Right now he can only lay under one of the arches and bat at nd grab onto the toys, but I know he will love it just as much once he's crawling too. It is big, approx 4 feet long when fully extended, but can easily collapse for storage with the removal of two support rods. The toys that come with it are very cute, they rattle, crinkle, and the little robin even tweets. It is very colorful with a mix of illustrated and real life animal photos. Absolutely adorable and endless entertainment. GOT THIS FOR MY GRANDCHILD. I THINK SHE WILL HAVE FUN IN THE TUNNEL. This is just a great little thing. I know it's expensive, but once you see your baby in it, you'll realize that someone put a lot of thought into this.
Cons: 1. It is very large when set up, and it does take some time to fully break down and set up. 2. The mesh sides are vulnerable to velcro when in the wash
Pros: 1. It is large enough for me to get in to play with my daughter 2. If need be, it can break down to be even smaller than how it is shipped. 3. Machine washable and air dries 'flat' really quickly 4. Lets in a lot of light and feels bright and cheery 5. Very soft floor 6. Has pairs of images: one photo and one illustration of the same animal 7. Lots of toys to meet a wide range of interests and ages 8. A couple of crinkle 'leaves' and some ribbon tags on the floor help get my kid, who usually imposes a strict embargo on tummy time, to actually enjoy it (for a little while, anyway)
All in all, I'd really recommend spending the extra cash and getting this. If we hadn't already purchased infant gyms prior to this, I probably wouldn't have. This is a great multifunctional piece. The tunnel is great! It's easy to put in and take out the rods-- easy set-up and easy storage/portability. The floor of the tunnel is padded which makes it super comfortable. It has a lot of fun features: hanging toys that rattle or scrunch or make bird sounds. My 1-year-old loves to crawl through and look out the mesh sides. Tunnel features colorful Baby Einstein characters and real life imagery, plus developmental toys, textures and activities. The mesh window panels along both sides encourage parent and child interaction with peek a boo play. Tunnel includes flaps, textures, crinkle and real life imagery to create a unique crawling experience for babies. It has five developmental toys which includes red bird that "chirps", soft sun rattle, discovery flash cards, ring rattle, and water filled teether. It comes with 8 sewn in loops plush 8 Baby Einstein links included to reposition toys or add more of baby's favorite toys. Rerations < Baby Einstein Animal Exploration Tunnel >
