This toy was a bit smaller than I had hoped it would be. I gave it 3 stars overall, only because my children love it. I on the other hand am tired of putting pieces back on that break off. (The ones that I can anyway.)
My son loves Mack and Lightning McQueen. Before he has this toy, he would use his Fisher Price truck and pretend that is Mack. So he was really excited when I get this truck. The only complaint about this toy is that the truck, Mack is hard for children's little hands to open. He has to keep asking us to open and close it for him, but he carries it everywhere and is very happy with it.
We received this as a gift for my child. He was SO disappointed because unlike the pictures on the box, there is no car in it !! So now we have to head to the store to buy the car. The quality is cheap and its actually a pretty small truck. It can hold one hot wheels size car. He loves it, though. He goes to sleep with the truck. I wish they would have included the tiny car.
My three year old is thrilled by this Mac and all its accoutrements inside!! His imagination has definitely developed since he has been creating scenarios playing with this and his other Cars. It has proven sturdy. It arrived just in time (early) as my son was asking if the mailman had brought it every 30 minutes!! We are happy!
This is a fun toy. All the little gadgets in the back of Mack are really fun. They do come out pretty easily. The nice thing is they don't break. That's my only criticism of the truck - I wish stuff in the back stayed in the back and was not removable.

This item was listed as a replacement battery for Little Tykes ride on toys. When the item was received, the plug is not wired as a direct replacement for Little Tykes. Since it is a battery, it cannot be returned. I explained my situation to Amazon and received a full credit. Frustrating that the item was not as described though, but received good customer service from Amazon.
A excellent toy for the grandkids. They get to drive around the yard and it has two speads so first learning to drive it gos extremely slow.
I follow the 18hour rule with use of this battery on my sons Peg Perego Polaris ATV. No issues at all and he is getting 2+ hours of ride time with each charge. We typically plug in the battery after each use and let the battery charge overnight so about 18hours from the time he puts it up and comes home from kindergarden the next day. Its a little high priced and yes a lawn mower/motorcycle battery will work if your into splicing wires and cutting up your childs ride on...for me it was much easier to get this battery which works great and fits in the space provided....keep it fully charged and it will continue to work for years....
The car without the battery is of no use. A good battery is a must to enjoy the toy and this is the perfect battery recommended by the manufacturer.
I also looked into purchasing this item, but read an earlier review of someone who placed a small 12 volt lawn tractor or motorcycle battery into the toy gator with success. I purchased a 12 volt motorcycle battery and used the connector from the previous dead prego battery. This allowed me to attach the new motorcycle battery to the gator. When I removed the wires from the old battery I removed the blue cap, and was able to save the fuse that is built in. Anyway, it works great was half the cost, and I can hook it up to my 12 volt battery charger. In order to be the new battery to fit I had to enlarge the battery box, by doing some cutting. I was not real pretty, but my daught is not picking dates up with it.

The box was much smaller than I expected for so many blocks. this is because the blocks are pretty small. I had to keep the smallest ones away from my toddler for a while. Great to play with and even survived the bathtub!
oOr daughter loved this toy at 6 months old when we gave it to her and still loves it 3 months later. No doubt she'll play with it for a long time. So many opportunities to learn shapes, colors, coordination and creativity. A great buy
...at a classic price...These blocks are painted well(not really sure what to make of the lead paint assertion)...Also, they're quite smooth with no rough surfaces or edges...A definite must for those little creative minds because you really never know what the blocks are going to end up becoming...Sometimes, you'll get a building...Next time, you might get a spaceship or a hot dog...They keep my kids busy for longer than other toys which are more specific in nature...I also bought the 60 pc. set, which has large and chunk pieces, to compliment this set...All in all, a quality toy at a reasonable price that won't end up in the garbage.
Bought these blocks as a gift for our 2 year old boy. He loves the blocks but he's not at the developmental stage yet to work with smaller blocks and balancing them. He is very interested in them, however. And the different colors are attractive. As well, it inspires conversations about colors while building structures. I have no regrets about buying these blocks and I think they're a great toy to have. I would recommend, however, the Pottery Barn blocks if you think your boy/girl might have trouble stacking and balance. I went to many toy stores before settling on both types of blocks (the PB blocks and the M&D blocks) and think these are the best of their type. Of course there are larger sets of blocks but if you're not looking for a massive collection of blocks, this is a good start.
This is a very educational toy fol kids under five years of age. They can build and be creatitive, as well as use their motor skills.
Kids can use their creativity and imagination to build all sorts of things with this 100-piece set. The structures are only as tall and wide as the child's imagination! With endless possibilities, it's sure to provide hours of engaged play.

This is the same good scooter you get in the sports stores. I just got it for a better price here. Our son didn't really like it, for some reason, but it was still a nice scooter.

These are great birthday gifts for little girls ages 6-8. They love making the jewelry and the colors of fun. Still have to be careful for baby brother not to choke on the beads, but the beads are a bit larger and more durable. Great price for a nice gift.
Bought 2 of these kits to keep a very antsy 4 year old entertained at a grownups Thanksgiving table - and it did exactly that! She played with it for ages, making and remaking necklaces for the adults and herself with little need for our help (which meant we could enjoy a leisurely meal!). Colours and patterns of the beads were really cute as well, and the storage box kept things nice and tidy. Only slight disappointment was that several of the beads broke in half with normal usage - but this is truly a minor issue.
I gifted this set to my niece and she was overjoyed.
Not to mention she used her creativity to put together beautiful necklaces, although the first one she made, she gifted to her dad.
However I do caution that this set is not for children below 3 yrs, since there is a risk that they might pop the beads in their mouths.
I would recommend adult supervision.
I just sent this to a friend's almost-6-year-old as an early birthday present. I got immediate rave reviews from her mom, who said she had just enjoyed an hour of quiet while the 6 year old and her younger almost-3-year old sister made necklaces together without any fighting!
My 5 year old daughter has strung many a cheap plastic bead in her day but these cheerfully painted wood beads are much prettier and sophisticated than the usual tacky plastic ones. With this kit she made 3 long necklaces for herself with some of the product left over.

For young children this is a great craft to build fine motor skills. This also became an educational opportunity when I started teaching her the words "pattern," "symmetry" and "asymmetry."

One evening when helping my daughter choose which bead to use next we compared sides and made a symmetrical patterned necklace. Then on her own she said she was going to make an asymmetrical pattern. All the necklaces turned out beautifully.

The packaging of this bead set is very attractive and would make a great birthday or Christmas gift especially for a girl. The price nice too.

This is a great toy. I have a 19 month old and a 6 month old, so I purchased one for each.

My 19 month old loves it. It plays several, soft, different melodies and the water bubbles softly as the fish and the crab gently sway in the water.

I tied it to his crib, down at his level, so he can watch it lying down. He learned how to turn it on and off by himself immediately. I'm surprised it fits our crib (most things don't) because we have a 4 in 1 convertible. But no problems at all. Since I tied it to his level, I just criss-crossed the straps and I was able to tie it down pretty well.

I can hear my son at night turning it on and off, which is awesome. It means I don't have to get up and do it.

Someone mentioned that her remote control could control the aquarium. It's true!! Last night while pushing the button to rewind live tv (we have DirecTV) the aquarium kept turning on. That's weird but it is a little funny.

To those who complain that it runs the batteries down. Ours played all day and all night and the batteries are still running.

Others have also suggested this should come with an ac adapter. I don't know about you, but I would not want to place this in my baby's crib with a cord attached to it.
I'd rather change batteries ten times a day than risk my baby "playing" with an electrical cord that's still plugged in, only because I wanted to save on batteries.
This toy has helped my son to identify a fish and plays soothing music at bedtime. He looks forward to watching the fish and the bubbles and it makes nightime so much more enjoyable.
Purchased this for my 3 month old son. At first he didn't take to it but we used to leave it on and now he looks at it and smiles. Sometimes he goes to sleep because the music is so soothing. Still on the first set of batteries.. the toy is visually appealing. Only problem as some other reviewers have reported is the remote... our TV remote (or pretty much any remote key) can turn on/off the Acquarium. Easy solution is to turn the switch off when not being used so the remote doesn't accidentally turn it on.
My daughter loves this toy!! We put it in her crib when she was about 8 weeks old and she was immediately taken with it. Within a couple of weeks she was turning it on and off by herself. In fact one night I heard something so I went down the hall to check on her and the hallway looked like a disco from the blue light in the toy. She had turned herself so she could kick fishy on and off repeatedly at 2am. She loves it. He helps her fall asleep on her own and I love the remote control.
I am mother of a 4 month old and have been using this for two months this toy is great it sooths him when he is fussy and entertains him in his crib to allow me to complete tasks close by.
