(Didn't not like it!)
(A classroom game) We will have to buy our second Operation game because our first one doesn't hold up over very little use. I have two girls who were skittish with this game, but now that they are older and finally want to play with it, it didn't take long for the battery connector to break. We have all the parts, money, cards, even the battery....but no way to make it play. I'd let it go but my girls want another one. As I see it, in cheaper condition than when I was a kid...and I loved playing this as a kid! I bought mine from Target and did not like this game - I like the previous Operation game - the one I grew up with. I ended up taking it back. My kids were very disappointed. I love operation. I played this game when I was a little girl. I wanted to get this game for my classroom so the children would have some games to play with. The only thing that was wrong with this is it was missing one of the pieces. I was unhappy about this, however, it didn't stop my children from playing with the game and having a great time with it. Beep, beep! Tweet-tweet! Ribbet! This all-new game of Operation offers a full multi-sensory experience like never before. In this game of silly skills, it's all about the senses. Hilarious sound effects are sure to tickle your funny bone, and new funatomy parts include textured, gooey parts. There is also a success button on the patient's nose. Rather than cards or money, the game now prompts players on which part to remove next. Features 2 skill levels and a storage drawer for all the funatomy parts. For one or more player. Requires 4 "AAA" batteries, not included. Rerations < Operation >

(WASTE OF MONEY)
(Can't get enough of the Mouse!)
(Very pleased!)
(Somewhat Disappointing) We just received this for our 3 and 5 year-old sons as a Birthday gift. It is Mickey, so they loved it right away, however the track does not stay together very well and is very frustrating for the kids. Parents - stay close while the kids play with it because you will have to constantly snap pieces back together! We have tons of Fisher Price toys and have even been toy testers for them before. I am shocked that this came on the market with the issues it has. Especially for the price, I would think twice about this one. this toy is a big waste of money. if it didnt have the disney name it would probably sell for less than [...]. my daughter was bored of the toy after 1 day. she doesnt even play with it anymore and she loves mickey mouse.
the tracks fall apart easily (especially the upper tracks) and the whole toy seems to be made from cheap plastic. the cars dont run very smoothly. its hard for little kids to move the elevator up and down.
i cant believe i spent [...] on this piece of junk. get a better toy for you kids [...] I bought Mickey Motors Raceway for my son's 4th birthday. I almost didn't buy it because of the reviews it had received. But, I'm glad I did. My son hasn't stopped playing with it since we opened the box! I will admit the red raceway is a little flimsy. It has popped out of place a couple of times, but not enough for a negative review. Mickey gets a thumbs up from this family! I have 2 boys and they love this product! Very durable unlike some of the other Disney Mickey toys we have purchased in the past. Even though the cars don't race side by side, they each have a car and the fun never ends. We bought this today and were disappointed that the cars will only go 2 laps before you have to "charge" them again. The cars aren't really designed for "kid power" so that option would probably break the cars at some point. Unless there are two kids playing, only 1 car can really be played with at one time because one kid can't keep 2 cars running. It does talk a lot, which is very interactive. But, it is pretty loud. Overall, our son will like it, but $55 was steep. Definitely, this new Fisher-Price line of Disney Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys is WAY more durable than the Disney made toys we had purchased before. Start your engines, kids! With the Mickey Motors Speedway, kids charge up their cars at the two Rev 'n Go stations along the track, then send them speeding away for head-to-head racing fun with Mickey and Pete. Use the Mickey hand elevator to raise the cars to the upper tracks for extreme high-speed fun. Silly sound effects and fun Mickey phrases accompany the fun as kids charge up their cars. Playset is packed with more than 20 phrases and sounds in all. Includes two racecars. Requires three "AA" batteries, included. Measures 15"L x 7"W x 18"H. Stand up and cheer for Mickey and Pete as they race around the Fisher-Price Mickey Motors Raceway! Children ages 3 and up will love revving up the engines and letting cars speed around the track. By using the Mickey hand elevator, the cars can be sent to the tracks high in the air, speeding down to the finish.

Pump the Mickey head to rev up the racer and make it go! View larger. | Bright, Colorful Track With a two-level bright, colorful track, kids will be eager to start racing their cars. The track itself features two lanes side-by-side, along with several Mickey-inspired touches to the raceway's design, including Mickey Ear archways, a Mickey Hand-operated elevator, and more.Parents may need to help assemble the race course, which takes about 10 minutes. Although not necessary for racing, three AA batteries are needed for the sound effects to work, which we highly recommend for the enjoyment they add to the game. Engaging, Hands-On Fun Kids will love the interaction that the Mickey Motors Raceway provides. They can make the two included race cars (one with Mickey driving and the other with Pete) go by placing them on the launcher and pumping on the Mickey ear charger to "rev" the engine. A Mickey voice will count each time you pump, and when the voice reaches 10, it will tell you to "Go Racer One!" To launch the racer, you press down on the Mickey hand and off it goes. Kids will need to charge the racer after each lap to maintain speed, and Mickey will tell you what lap you're on. One of the fun features is the elevator. As racers ride into the tower, depending on whether the elevator is up or down, they will either pass through or stop in the elevator. When they stop in the elevator, kids will love raising the elevator using the Mickey hand, and then watching the racers race back down to the ground on the red track. Although there are two tracks, we wished that the racers would have raced side-by-side. Instead, the racers start from different ends and the game keeps count of how many laps the racers have done to see who is winning. We think the Raceway will provide a lot of fun for younger children, but older children might prefer a racing game that puts more of an emphasis on competition and skill. Two racers are included, but more can be collected and raced to add to the fun. Sound Effects Galore! The Mickey Motors Raceway provides a variety of sound effects and sayings that will have kids thrilled and giggling. Mickey will say both cheerful and informational things such as: "I think we need a pit stop!," "Faster than a speeding mouse!," and "Hooooooot dog!" What's in the Box Mickey Raceway track, Mickey racer, Pete racer, decals.

(Great for Wii Parties)
(Good trivia Game for the Money)
(Great Challenge)
(A good rental... Not a good buy.) I haven't been too crazy about playing the way since I'm not into the kid games, however Smarty Pants is really fun. My husband and I played it for 2 hours the first day we got it. We love playing NTN at restaurants and this is similar. Some of the features had us laughing in tears, such as the dancing. We also enjoyed using our Mii characters to play the game. I bought this game for a Wii Party I hosted. It was a hit! Adults and kids thought it was fun. We had a hilarious time! The game is simple and easy to play, and the only complaint I have is that you could only play with a maximum of 4 players at one time-- that is, only 4 people can have their own Wii remotes to buzz in. You can play in teams, but it's more fun if you can buzz in yourself. The game lets you input your age so you get age appropriate questions, but some of the questions were quite difficult. It was ok as it made the game challenging but not frustrating. A few of the questions did get recycled, but during those instances it became a question of who can buzz in first. We had so much fun that people at the party were planning to buy the game for their own Will collection. I highly recommend this game!
My family enjoys Trivial Pursuit and games like that. So far we've played with folks ranging from 24-55 years old. We're not much for reading directions, but most of the game's rules are intuitive - there are several alternative ways to play, including a cooperative version. We're kind of competitive, so that one didn't interest us. The questions are fairly tough and there's a variety of categories - more than in Trivial Pursuit, but like them. I don't know how younger kids would fare, but it takes your ages and it's supposed to ask questions relative to each person's age group. I can attest that there were some questions that were "too young" for me. I'd recommend it for people who enjoy trivia games. The only part that was annoying was the little "celebration dances" that characters would do occasionally, and it took a while to understand how to use the "cards" that you could earn and use. (But, as I said, we didn't read the directions!) A great group game. Like Trivial Pursuit but a faster paced game. Fun for all ages. My mom purchased smarty pants for me 2 weeks ago. I wish we would have rented it first it is kinda fun but gets old fast. It is a great game to rent for a family get togeter but not such a good buy. How smart are you? Do you know more than your Grandma about world history? Does your little sister know more than your Dad about sports? Find out in Smarty Pants! Smarty Pants finally levels the playing field for people of all ages, allowing simultaneous play using age-targeted trivia plus action-based gestures, making it a truly trans-generational game made exclusively for the Wii. Tailoring questions to the contestant's age, gamers from eight to eighty can join in on the fun all at the same time. Exciting Wii gestures make everything a game, from spinning the category wheel and tug-of-wars over correct answers, to "dance-offs" for additional points. With both competitive and collaborative game modes and 20,000 questions in multiple categories, the fun is virtually endless! ESRB Rated E for Everyone Rerations < Smarty Pants: Trivia for Everyone >

(Good overall)
(Still Loving It)
(Simple, but fun)
(Racing Ramp works with many different sized cars) I don't understand what all the negative comments about this toy are about. Right out of the box, this is a wonderful toy!!! Well worth the money. You are not paying for intricate design but, rather, for durability.
My granddaughter, grandson and niece played with this all day on Thanksgiving and had many other toys from which to choose.
The nonsense about not all hotwheels working is bunk. A few hotwheels are too wide and don't work, so pick another one. I doubt that any child has just 1 or 2 hotwheels.
This toy made the kids laugh and squeal with delight. They made up games with it, took turns, and fought over who gets to push the lever. Great fun.
You won't be sorry you bought this toy. My kids (age 5, 3, 2) all love this although it keeps the attention of my youngest for the longest. The two cars it comes with are little, plastic, and lightweight. They fly down the track. Of our 20 or so metal diecast cars, we have ONE that is small and light enough to be equally as fast (I think it has a plastic body). Some of the others fit down the track but are slow because of their weight; still others are too long to make it down the tight spiral and get stuck. In theory it shouldn't matter if the track works with any other cars - except that we all know the two it comes with will someday be lost! It would just take a little hunting at Walmart or Target to find a small, lightweight replacement. My son got this toy for Christmas 2007, and now, coming up on another Christmas, he still loves it. It DOES work with other "matchbox" style cars, just not all of them. They have to be narrow. The voices can be annoying, especially if you bump into it in the middle of the night, it sounds very loud, lol, but it's fun for my son. He was 20 months old when we got it, and he's more than 2 and a half now and still loving this toy. Well worth the price at $23.99. And it's the only toy from last year that he still plays with consistently. This toy does one thing and one thing only....luckily most boys find that one thing pretty cool! Just know that the ramp does not accommodate the die-cast cars--only these tiny plastic ones that come with it. My other realization was that there is no on/off switch to the sound effects which are triggered very easily, so I hope you like the phrases "Speed, I am speed!" and "You're one gutsy racer!" That being said, my 3 year old son has played with it quite a bit, and probably likes it more than me! I think there are better toys out there though. The children loved this racing ramp. It's great that it works with all the matchbox cars that you may have laying around. You can race different ones to see which ones are fastest. But it didn't hold their attention as long as other toys. Lightning McQueen and the King are back racing again! This time you get to be the one at the starting gate. Flip it up or down to hear cool racing sounds and phrases from the cars before they hug those curves on their way to the finish, in side-by-side racing action. Lightning and King store in the base. Other die-cast cars, sold separately, also fit on the Spiral Speedway. Features an easy-carry handle. Requires two "AA" batteries, not included. Measures 8.5"L x 15"W x 15.5"H. (LOVE THIS GAME)
(Not as good as I'd hoped.)
(Some Major Flaws)
(Perhaps it was the minigames that got me but I dig it!) We enjoyed playing this game as a family. Its best if you have all 4 controllers. The board could use some improvment, the names are hard to see unless you land directly on them. Overall I would recommend if you have family members whom like to play board games. i loved monopoly as a kid and this is even better because you dont have all the set up and take down involved. i love the choice of boards and mini games. I was so disappointed in this game. I expected a lot more. I found it very hard to keep track of who owned what. The colored tabs were confusing. I thought the graphics would be better. I found the repetitive narration from Mr Moneybags totally annoying. The company should look on at the online game site POGO.com , which offers their version of Monopoly, for suggestions to improve game play. Okay so let me give you background. I bought the Wii for my wife so she can use the Wiifit. I am a 43 year old weekend Dad with a 14 year old daughter. I decided it might be cool to bring the family together to play video games since we all love them but there is not much interaction on a PC (especially when we are playing different games). I saw an advertisement for this game and thought, hey I loved it as a kid maybe the new wii version will be cool for the family. My wife and I tried the game out last night. We played one whole game all the way through. As a two player selection you end up with two computer players and I left the "easy" default on. The game basically is intact and plays like the real rules of the board game. There are some special features like different ways to play Monopoly and I will speak to those in a moment. So we started off playing and the first thing I notice after 2 rolls of the dice that there isn't a way to stop the music. I tried the usual suspects and nothing. The only option this game has is to turn on captions. The music is bad, real bad, annoying and repetitive. You can't even turn it down because you kind of have to hear the dialog of the game. Why? Well that leads me to my second complaint and it's a doozy! Even with my 42" HDDLP TV the playing surface is really small. They have a cheesy zoom feature but the game mechanics for it are not aligned correctly it just zooms to the corners. This game could have rocked. It could have been and should have been a killer recreation with neat graphics of a timeless board game. The ONLY redeeming quality which did catch a glimmer of interest was in the "Richest Edition" section of the game. We played some sort of "Future version" of Monopoly where you don't roll at all. I didn't really figure out the rules but it was entertaining with it's graphics and sounds for the tokens. All in all I would unfortunately have to say that this game is a waste of money. I mean I am stuck with it so I will try to play it with my kid next week but I doubt it will hold her interest for very long. Maybe I'm into mini-games too much (and I have Mario Party 8 to blame) but I like this game.
I am a fan of Monopoly. I like Here and Now and recently played the world edition online. I was hooked. This game is different from any other monopoly that I've played and here's why.
It does have minigames that are fun to play.
There's Monopoly "Richer", which is a blast too play and is quite challenging.
I love the different boards (Sweet board, Ice board, Future board etc) and yes the property names change with each board as well as the backgrounds, tokens, and noises.
There's a passport system which is the only way to unlock new boards.
Yes, sometimes when playing, the board becomes so small that you must get closer.
Yes, in the beginning, the trade screen is impossible to manage.
But the Pros outweight the Cons.
A nice stocking-stuffer for christmas and definately a nice addition to the collection, if and only if you like monopoly! Get ready to play MONOPOLY with an exciting party twist. Host the ultimate MONOPOLY night with family and friends.

customer 's review (fantastic)
(Amazing clarity and overall elegance)
(Won't show altered jpegs)
(Great Frame with One Small Glitch)
(Sony DPF-D70 7 inch Digital Photo Frame) There are a ton of cheaper digital picture frames from all sorts of companies I never heard of, but you can always count on Sony. Somewhat more expensive for it's size, but it works perfectly right out of the box. There are a few poor reviews here that claim pictures that have been edited don't work, but that's not my experience. I exported a couple of hundred images from Lightroom 2.0 to an SD card, plugged it into the frame, and they display perfectly. The display is bright and sharp with nice accurate color. The images I used were originally high-resolution scans of slides (from a Nikon film scanner). All have been cropped and adjusted in Lightroom, and some touched up further in Photoshop CS3. I exported 750x480 JPEGs which the frame accepts without any problem. We're giving this to my father-in-law for Christmas, and his entire slide collection (4400 slides) will comfortably fit on a 2GB SD card, extrapolating from the first couple of hundred. The manual says up to 8GB SDHC cards will work (and up to 9,999 images), which would allow me to export much larger versions of the images. (That will allow the zoom-in feature to have more to work with.) I have had several digital picture frames over the years, but nothing comes close to this for image quality and just overall beauty. Sony really deserves the praise it received for this frame. On another note...all of my images were modified in Photoshop CS3 and saved as jpg. All of them play fine on this frame so not sure why the other poster had problems. The product is beautiful and the display is very clear - IF you can get your photos to show up! I had some photos adjusted by photoshop and all I get on the product is a box with a question mark in it.
It is so ridiculous that you can't up load altered jpegs on the frame - who doesn't change red-eye or crop or take out things from their photos. Its very short-sighted to have a frame that only takes camera-only photos. I have also wanted to put scanned photos on (from before I got my digital slr)...but no...it won't recognize those either.
I'm very VERY dissapointed in Sony's lack of foresight!
I bought this frame as a gift. I filled it with family photos. We shall see how it goes over this holiday season.
It's extremely easy to use. Once plugged in and connected to the computer, the computer recognizes it as a portable memory device and opens a window. Just create a folder with any name you choose and fill it with photos. Drag the photos to the folder in the frame memory. As soon as you disconnect the cable, the pictures begin showing on the frame. I have a feeling that the frame will work just as easily with a memory card. Finally, without reading the instructions I was able to figure out how to set the clock and the calendar. To get at all the features, reading the instruction would help. (If you don't connect it to a computer right away, the frame will automatically start up an instruction slide show. If you want to sit and watch, the frame will show you how to use it.)
Finally, the glitch! The "Mode" button allows you to cycle through the various ways of viewing the frame. I thought that the most practical application was the simultaneous showing of the analogue clock and picture. However, although the clock was accurately set, when in the simultaneous mode, the clock did not show the right time. This "feature" was a bit of a mystery which I have not yet solved. Since I am giving one of these frames to each of my three kids, maybe they will figure out the solution to this mystery.
This frame is so nice looking that I plan to buy one for myself. Hopefully, my kids will have figured out the glitch before I get one. I recently received this frame as a gift and I am happy to say that it is one of the best gifts I have received. I am a scrap booker and spend many hours creating a legacy in photos, but once done with the albums, I don't often look at the pictures afterwards. With this photo frame, I get to enjoy the same pictures I've just worked with over and over again and I love it. The quality of the frame and images is excellent. It is perhaps the best of the digital frames out there. The crisp images and easy to use frame are the best. I highly recommend this purchase for anyone who loves pictures and wants to enjoy them often. Rerations < Sony DPF-D70 7-inch Digital Photo Frame >
