Exactly what I wanted.It would take too long for a thief to cut through it.You may want to buy a chain also,especially if you have an expensive bicycle. I bought this when I bought my woman's bike, and made a mistake. It is definitely for use on man's bikes without a doubt. It made a great gift to the spouse and is really strong and trustworthy. The price is right and it is really practical. It's a little bit heavy but I guess you do not have to worry about someone taking a hack saw to it unless they have all day. It comes with hardware to attach it to your bike but I just keep it in my bag. My bike was locked right outside my door to a metal railing with this lock. Went out, came back 4 hrs later and bike was gone, all this in broad daylight in the middle of the day. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I dont know how the lock was broken, but if you live in an area where many bikes are stolen, buy a better lock. This toy is not perfect (Dora is top-heavy and Boots tends to tip over in the water) but it is something that my daughter enjoys every time she takes a bath. She particularly likes to take the flippers off Dora and put them back on and does pretend play with both characters. Recommended for any Dora fans. If your child is not a Dora fan, then it is nothing special. My son has had a thing for Dora since he was a year old. The tub toys were a birthday gift and he's bathed with them every night for over a year. They are darling for a boy or a girl and have held up very well. Dora's lifejacket, pink flippers and Boots in his inner tube tend to get a little icky if you don't clean them once in a while. To clean all plastic toys I generally soak them in a sink full of water with 1/4 Cup bleach to kill the mold/mildew. The boots toy needs to be squeezed to force bleach water in and out to ensure it gets clean-takes seconds to do. Then I throw all the toys in the dishwasher, without detergent, and run it. That'll get everything clean and kill the germs. You can always throw the toys out when they get yucky from tub or dry them out carefully after each use. Your little ones will love bathing with Dora and Boots. We've loved them for almost 2 years and they're still in great shape. my daughter recvd this for her birthday thinking she would love to play with this in the bathtub but she hardly even touches it!she plays with other bath toys over these. the only thing she likes to do to dora sometimes is put makeup on her face with her water crayons which wash right off, and don't even mention boots he is just nasty, nothing but nasty slimy mold growing inside i threw him away along time ago and my daughter still hasn't noticed! I try to get her to play with the dora at the pool but she just isn't having it, I'm surprised because she loves dora,but this just doesn't do it for her. My daughter is 3 and loves this toy! We got it when she was 2 1/2 and she has not taken a bath without Dora and Boots since!!! The only problem we experienced is getting Dora's life jacket on. This toy was one of the first in our collection of water toys and is still going strong! Purchased over a year and a half ago, my little boy will be three next month and he still loves to squirt both Dora and me with the Boots. The vest on the one I bought still changes colors when it gets wet and Doras head has not gotten water inside of it. The Boots did get moldy inside despite my best efforts to squeeze all the water out and allow to dry on its side. I now once a month fill the bathroom sink with hot water and add a capful or two of bleach and squeeze it in and out several times -- this works well for all his "squirtys". Also, we had an opportunity to ride in a friends boat and while all the other kids were screaming they didn't want a vest on, my son willingly jumped into his saying "I'm just like Dora Mommy"! Kids can now splash around in the tub with Dora and Boots. Dora comes in her bathing suit with removable plastic flippers and a life jacket that magically changes color in water. When the first scare happened about lead in the paint of toys made in China, I called the Melissa and Doug company. They assured me that while their toys too are made in China, they have never had a problem with quality assurance. And they further stated that they never will. Hopefully this will be the case. This toy is very well made, and the educational value is very good. My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter really likes playing with it, and is already making the connection to telling time. I ordered this clock for my 3 year old daughter. I wanted to make sure she could tell time using an analogue clock, and not just a digital one. She's having a blast with the puzzle pieces, and now her 18 month old sister is also playing with it. It's been very durable, and it's great to watch the two of them playing with it together, singing "Tick tock, hickory dickory dock!" We got this as a gift from the grandparents, and it just sat in the toy box with nobody having interest in it. Then recently I dug it out of its grave and resurrected it with this game I made up: 1) I got my 4-year-old boy to dump! all the numbers out onto a table. 2) He shovels them all into a cloth bag off the edge of the table. 3) We take turn taking out a number from the bag without peeking. My saying "no peeking" always generates more interest in peeking. 4) The person who got the block reads the number on the block and puts it in the correct slot. 5) The person then points the long-hand to 12 and the short hour-hand to the number that has just been put in. My son who is otherwise very academically challenged as a 4-year-old learned to tell time in no time -- two days. We also learned to use our sensory nerves to psyche out the pieces. When he puts his hand in the bag he knows how to pull out number 12, his favorite number on the clock. This is a great wooden clock. The pieces fit very nicely and the whole clock has a nice, sturdy feel. The colors are beautiful. We gave this as a gift and the little girl loved it. She has played with it for hours. I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter, who likes identifying shapes. This set has all the basics and then some (a parallelogram, trapezoid are included). Beyond that it also identifies quarter-hour, half-past and quarter-til, the minute and hour hands, and provides 60-step increments (seconds or minutes). Brightly colored and quite a grow-with-you educational piece that we will be using for my 13 month old too! I bought this along with the Melissa and Doug Pizza set and so if you only want one set I would go with the pizza set as my girls play with that way more than this but it is well made and the velcro is awesome. Definetly worth it and a great addition to the play kitchen. This wood sandwich kit is as sturdy and durable as they come. Excellent quality toy, and it gets 5 stars for that. I bought this for my daughter at 18 months.. she is now 22 months. She has loved it from the beginning. Have some drawbacks though: - My daughter absolutely LOVES "cutting" the sandwich and hamburger.. but thats about it. She doesnt quite get the concept of making a sandwich, which means I have to put all the pieces together.. and she takes them all apart with the wooden knife. - There's only so many sandwiches you can make with this kit! It would be nice to have more meats.. and fillings, but thats okay I suppose. - The velcro is starting to wear down. I have this issue with the food cutting set as well - my daughter plays with this toy so often ("cutting" the sandwich), that the velcro is starting to lose its adhesiveness. So I question how long this toy will last if we've only had it for 5 months.. and its already started to wear down like this. Overall, excellent toy, I highly recommend it - my daughter loves to cut the sandwiches, so it provides excellent playing time for her. The bottom blow up piece that slows the kids down when they hit the water ripped off at the first party, but the kids don't seem to mind, they go a lot faster into the water. I purchased this for my 3 year old niece's Bday, and it was first used at her party by 6 rowdy kids ages 3-10. A few weeks later and after a Memorial Day bashing by more kids, the slide is still holding up like new. Set up was easy (use an air compressor, I couldn't imagine blowing it up as the directions show with a hand pump!) It takes up some room but is well worth it and the kids love it. I'm anxious to see how well it holds up after the summer is over, but for now I'm very satisfied with this product! Steps are great, big slide surface, extra inflated section at bottom of slide drops kids well past edge of pool, right in the center...very safe. It is vibrant, has fun sounds and music, and he can turn it on/off by himself. It is quite durable, seeing as how he likes to carry it around and has dropped it many, many times. If I am being picky...I would say that some of the animal sounds are a little strange, but what does an x-ray fish sound like? :) Great product. We are big fans of LeapFrog toys. My son has played with this since he was 4 months old; it never gets old. i keep it in the hallway, since he's an avid crawler at 6 months, it lets me know where he is when he crawls away. the price point is right on, the base is a sturdy rubber and I don't feel that it tips over easily like other reviews. there are 3 modes, though i think leapfrog should have done better with some of the animal sounds - i.e. a whale sounds like splashing water, maybe they should have chosen a different animal, but hey, it's a kids toy not animal planet. a great gift to give someone at the 3-4 month stage as it will grow with them. babies like to spin with their hands or their feet.
