These hands are far better than the foam ones that came out with the first movie, much more durable and seems like they are better for your victims too, a bit softer on the outside. The handle grip on the inside feels more secure on these. Plus you can make the sfx box do some cool tricks...
My four year old son asked for these EVERY time he saw the commercial, and he does not do that with everything he sees.
He is crazy about the Hulk and Spiderman.
I got these for him for his fourth birthday and he LOVES them!
I was expecting them to be a foam type of material, but they are cloth.

My son loved this. At first I wasn't sure if he would being that he is only 4, but he wears them all the time along with the mask and the gloves are soft and cushy. There is of course no educational value to them, but he has lots of fun with them.
I'm pretty sure that there has never been a better creation in the history of creations, then this pair of Hulk Smash Hands. Everything about this toy is incredibly awesome. What more needs to be said?

I'm a new Whovian, but I squealed in delight when I stumbled across the sonic screwdriver toy online. Upon purchasing it, I've unleashed my inner fangirl and have enjoyed it immensely. The uv pen draws oohs and aaahs even from non-fans. Despite some other reviews I did not find the assembly difficult at all; and it seems quite a sturdy little device. The sound is loud enough to hear in one room but not the next, and the light is pretty bright. All in all, quite a fun toy!
..... and now I know why the producers of the current Doctor Who Series decided to use this in the adventures of the 10th doctor.

The story goes that the producers of Doctor who were so impressed with the ruggedness and authenticity of this Sonic screwdriver "toy", that they decided to use it on the show as the actual prop for David Tennant, instead of the sonic screwdriver the prop department made for the series originally.

The craftsmanship and quality shows in this toy, and yes, as some have said here, it can be broken, but ONLY IF YOU LEAVE IT THE "EXTENDED" POSITION IN AN ENCLOSED SPACE (LIKE A PURSE)...

Other than that, this thing is one of the best prop/toys I have seen in years.

And hey, if its good enough to actually use on the TV show, then it should be very OK for the fans.
This little gizmo features two authentic "sonic" sounds, UV light, and UV ink, and comes with "psychic" paper folio. Batteries were slightly difficult to insert, but once they're in, no problem. It is, frankly, ridiculous how much I enjoy this toy.
Im a doctor who fan myself but when i got this sonic screwdriver i was excited to finally get it. The toy its self is great the uv light and the two little nibs for the bottom of the sonic screwdriver is neat. The durability of this toy is grand because i mean i carry it around alot and have it with me in hand or in my pocket and it has yet to break on me the batteries are easy to install and replace. the only thing that is not what i expected was the little line that you get when you put two plastic molds together which i can live with and the cool thing is that its like the one in the show the sound is alittle low but not that much the light is strong and the detail on it is great for all that are a doctor who fan its a must buy. im enjoying it right now

Really fun to build! Anyone who has Lego's will love putting this one together. Watching it walk when your done with it is really really fun for anyone of all ages.
This lego is a great price. It really walks forward and backward. It also comjes with neat mini figures- Luke Skywalker, General Veers, ATAT pilot, and a snowtrooper with a rifle. It also comes with a grappling line to hang Luke. I give this durability a 4, since it did not walk until I fixed up a few gears. It is one of those toys that if you mess up one little piece it messes up the whole. The age one this really matters, I am thirteen and I needed a little help from my dad. Anyways this is a great buy with many customized features.
I bought this for my husband on Father's Day. I was quite excited to see him put it together. He got the legs done within an hour or so and we tried to make the thin walk....and all it did was twitch. We hadn't hooked up the power yet, but we figured the legs should move without it. At this point I was prepared to call LEGO headquarters and complain at length. He continued to put it together while I moped and fumed about our new non-walking walker. Finally he got to the power-pack installation and we turned it on...................and IT WALKED! When we tried to move it earlier it was not able to turn the motor so it siezed, but we couldn't tell that because it appeared that everything was turning as much as it could. We were seeing what turned out to be the motion of the worm gear switching between forward and reverse.

This little model is wonderful. It walks in forward and reverse and the head moves back and forth as it walks. I can easily see this being modified into other walking robots and it gives a great example of how rotational motion can be transformed into linear motion. Plus it's kinda cute. Pew pew
I bought this toy for my son's 10th birthday. He had builded it for 1 day. After that he could play with it, because it can move by moter. It is great toy!!!

The chocolate lab Webkinz is very cute, soft and cuddly. It has cute cocoa fur, and amber eyes, mine's name is Cocoa Nut.

But anyway Webkinz is a fun interactive site that teaches kids responsibilites of caring, earning, spending, and learning along the way. Although this Webkinz sewed as good as it could be. But it is still a fun pet.

I highly reccommend Webkinz, it's fun and educational, and Webkinz are great gifts. I have 48 Webkinz and I am not done yet.
This is a very inexpensive and fun gift to give to ANYBODY, young or 'older'...lol Very fun and educational and i love the safety the website has set up for the kids in the clubhouse.

Oh, and the stuffed animal is sooooo soft and very cute too! :)

(Beautiful Dolls All Can Appreciate)

I was lucky enough to get my Elvis and Priscilla dolls about a week and a half ago for about a 1/3 of the price this particular retailer is asking. The dolls are beautiful and nicely packaged. They are NOT positioned hand-in-hand like in the picture, but rather side-by-side in the box. The dolls are 11.5 inches high which makes them as tall as your average Barbie.

Mattel did both Priscilla and Elvis justice in making the dolls look very real; so often we see dolls made to look like their famous originals and don't even come close in likeness. Elvis and Priscilla were/are very beautiful people and the dolls certainly duplicate their likeness.

As far as durability goes, well, if you keep them in their box [as they were meant to be] they should be fine, though I highly recommend plastic casing to preserve the rather high value they [most certainly] will attain in the future. However, if you are going to let the kiddies play with these dolls, they should hold up just as well as your average Barbie doll. Priscillas hair will probably get knotted/matted with child's play.

For educational value I gave these dolls 3 stars for the brief wedding bio on the box and for the replication of the Priscilla's wedding gown, Elvis' paisley tux and boots (Priscilla's feet cannot be seen without opening the box so I am unsure what type of shoe she's wearing), and their wedding bands - hey, this is history! There are also 2-3 wedding photos on the box.

My overall rating was 4 stars simply because I would have preferred Elvis's hair to have been fabric (like Priscilla's) instead of plastic. I do believe the reasoning behind the plastic is so that the hair keeps hold of Elvis' famous swooped-'do and shine. Besides that, these dolls in my opinion, are just fantastic.

These dolls will certainly be a treasure to fans, Barbie collectors, and the young and old at heart.

We purchased this for our 8 year old's birthday. Our purpose was two-fold. One, we need him to improve his penmanship, and we thought if he could see where the computer wasn't picking up his writing as text, it would show him where to improve. Secondly, we were going out of town on a business trip and were going to use the pentop to e-mail his written school and homework to his teacher (we got her approval with a test page first).

I was a bit concerned that since you could use the pen to give you answers to math problems, he would take the "easy way out" and have the pen do the work for him. However, since it is a bit akward (due to size) for his hands yet, he did not want to write with it any more than he had to. Secondly, since he is a little young, and had a bit of difficulty holding the pen, sometimes he managed to cover the small camera in the end of the pen with his fingers, and therefore the pentop did not record what he had written, causing me to have to re-trace his writings in order for the pen to capture what was written. Minor inconvenience for me, major headache for him as he got a little frustrated.

On the first installation of the pentop software to my computer, I am not sure what happened, but no matter how hard we tried, the desktop software would not recognize anything that was written in the 2nd and 3rd notebooks, only the first one. I called tech support for LeapFrog, thinking I had a defective pentop. They went thru all the STUPID scripts, even though we explained to them that we had gone thru all of this on our own. Not once did they ever suggest that I might need to repair the installation of the desktop software (although I finally tried that on my own accord and it worked perfectly.)

One other issue I have is there isn't an easy way to transfer notebook pages that have already been loaded to the desktop onto another computer. Once again, I called tech support and they told me supposedly where the files were located - WRONG!. I managed to locate them myself by searching for "fly" on my computer - they were stored under the "common user" in Windows XP. Once located and copied, they did show up on my new laptop's FlyPen desktop application, problem solved, but with absolutely no help from LeapFrog's tech support.

All in all, this is a fun toy and a fair learning tool. Tech support is useless, so if you have no problems with the pen, it's great. If you do, beware, because you won't get any type of useful information from LeapFrog.
I really think this product "saved" me. I am a full-time college student who attends night classes and who works 40 hours and five days a week. I had been having trouble getting my assignments done until this nifty little thing came out.

This product saved me because it really cut my time. I got my assignments done so quickly that I actually got to relax!!!

I do recommend this item for not just for Middle/High School students. But also for College.

There are a few drawbacks, but not terrible.

1. You can't use normal paper, you have to use specially designed digital paper (160 pages). Cost around $8.00 usually.

2. If you make a mistake while writing, you can't fix it. But I have solved that problem by just adding to the right after the undesired word "(Mistake - Change to "whatever word(s)")." After transfered to PC, I just change it while editing the typed text.

3. Sometimes the computer can't read your handwriting. You will have to go through and make sure that its correct after downloaded. Which is what you should do anyway even if you typed the whole thing.

4. FYI: NO MACS
We bought this for our nephew (12 years old). Since then, he does all his classwork in the FLY notebook and his handwriting has improved drastically. He tries really hard to write neat so that the words are recognized (really cool for us because we sound like a broken record "you need to write neater blah blah" He did it on his own). For his age we think it's great. It has it's short comings but overall the value is worth it. I recommend this for kids who are interested in computers, they will truly benefit from this toy and have fun while doing classwork/homework.
I bought the Fly Fusion Pen and Journal software to go along with it. I am a writer and I have been genuinely interested in this pen since I read about it in Wired magazine about 2 or 3 years ago. It seemed to have all the features I was looking for. I was particularly interested in being able to write my ideas down on paper and pull them up on Microsoft Word easily. This is not too difficult to do with this device, but after only writing about a paragraph, my hand began to cramp due to the bulky design. It looks like a doctor's pen, but it is actually much more cumbersome than that. I couldn't imagine writing for 1 to 2 hours at a time like I usually do. Also, I felt misinformed due to the advertising of this pen. I really did not realize how much money I would end up spending for such a product. It is NOT all-inclusive. Of course there are separate software programs available for specific applications, but I didn't realize that I would need to continue buying more and more proprietary notebooks and could not use my own paper with this tool. Fly Fusion wants to get you addicted to it's product so that you will continually be dependent on accessories. Even if you want to expand the memory, you will be forced to buy a Fly Fusion memory expansion; no universal memory cards here. It seems very clever and useful, but in reality, it is more bells and whistles than it is functional. I am planning on taking my Fly Fusion back to Fry's where I purchased it. The best bet for a device that records your writing digitally seems to still be the Tablet PC laptop or a PDA. I just don't think this pentop computer technology makes sense for the average consumer yet. When programmers and designers figure out how to put the same concept into action with a normal-sized ink pen that uses gyro-technology or something similar to track and record movement, I will be the first in line to buy one. Until then, I will continue to faithfully buy mead notebooks in bulk.
I'm going to keep this simple and break it into a few points for you:

1. This is an incredibly easy to use piece of technology. With a quick browse of the manual you'll be using the pen in a matter of moments.

2. Other devices like this have failed miserably over the years to do the simple task of converting your handwriting into text. The Fly Pen does this in spades and so easily that it may startle you. I have two different hand-writing styles, cursive and block - and while the manufacturer politely asks you to "not use cursive", I found the pen did a great job at reading my scrawl with very little error. My block writing style (all caps) was perfectly transcribed, but in all capitols ... so be warned.

3. The manufacturer suggests as a practice that you utilize the penmanship illustrated in the manual but I found this not necessary as continued use with the pen gets more accurate with practice. Much like MS's speech-to-text engine built into Word (which no one ever uses but me, it seems).

4. Yes, you need to buy the special notepad paper that works with the pen as standard paper does not. This may set back about $3. The last novel I wrote took almost 10 legal pads and came close to 250 pages. I write everything long-hand first. If you use the fly pen, you'll be set back about $40 bucks total with tax. Big deal. I spent much more on much less. The overall cost of this is not even a factor as retyping from scratch is a major setback and also changes your original ideas in many ways.

5. The Pen does other things other than text conversion as well, like translate Spanish and French, etc. The function for it is a bit tedious but worthy. It's like a spoken version of a Franklin Language Translator. It also plays and stores MP3's too. Although I only used this function once, just to test it - I found it simple to navigate.

6. For the cost - it was more than worth the money I plunked down for it.

7. It fit my adult hand just fine and for extended use, but get used to old-school calluses.

How It Works

The Pentop Computer is compatible with PCs. (It doesn't currently work with Macintoshes.) As well as being able to upload to a PC, the Pentop Computer can also download additional programs that are available for separate purchase.

High-Tech Homework Help -- or Play
The Pentop Computer comes equipped with a FastComp application to help your child tackle math problems. When your child gets stumped, he or she can simply write out the equation and the computer will calculate it. It also makes a great study partner: Your child can get ready for tests in any subject by using the pen to create interactive "flashcards." The computer will be able to use the flashcards to then give your child customized pop quizzes and will even keep score. But all work and no play is no fun, so the Pentop Computer also comes equipped with several fun and challenging games, including challenging Tangrams, Hangman, a "High Octane Personality Quiz," and more. Additional games are available for purchase and download. Plus, not only can your child download and listen to MP3s, he or she can even compose music with the computer's synthesizer-like capabilities!
