They hold up reasonably well and offer lots of play value.. Voyager class Demolisher is not on par with the other Transformers.. Its hard to Transform, the wheels don't turn very well, if at all...and one of the rubber treads ripped/broke after about 10 minutes of play... COOL character,, poorly designed toy...』
(Regrets) 『I agree with Rodolfo. Read his review for the technical flaws. I regret buying this thing and, especially, opening it. I should have compared the scale in the store, but didn't do so until it was too late. I live in coal country and have stood beside a slightly smaller version of this sort of "steamshovel." Were this to scale, any of the deluxe class cars/SUV's should easily fit in the bucket. This is a joke. This should have been made in Ultra class scale or, at minimum, Leader class.
For a real eye-roller, place this version of Demolishor beside the Chromia and Arcee Deluxe models, which I'm definitely not buying b/c the scale is so ludicrous.』
(Neat looking transformer) 『Found this guy, Demolisher, on sale on Target. As others have said, he is probably one of the harder ones to transform, which surprised me, as I thought hed be one of the easier ones. the directions were hard to understand.. We've had half and half luck with the voyager class transformers, so I was prepared if it came down to this, he would be designated to shelf life, like my son's Starscream and Ironhide. but, he seems more durable them then and my son loves his design.
Just be prepared for a hard transformation..my son is 8 and had a tough time with it..although normaly he is the whiz at those things.』
(Demolisher rocks) 『I went to TOYS R US today and I saw the transformers ROTF display up and I picked up DEMOLISHER. When I got back in the car I transformed him. I thought it was pretty neat. I think he looks cool in vehicle and robot mode. Only one part has fallen off and it was easy to put back on. Its wheel even moves in robot mode. His arms kind of help him stand up. I would really recommend it!』
(DEMOLISHOR isn't very bright...) 『The character's description fits the toy well because this is not a great toy.
The toy is based on a Terex/O&K RH400, "the world's largest hydraulic excavator". It must be huge, but making it part of the Voyager line (the big toys, but not the biggest) means that it's roughly in the same scale as the smallest Optimus Prime in the Legends line.
The red colored deco is more appropriate for a simmilar excavator called Scavenger that also appears in the film and forms the torso of Devastator.
Now on to the toy itself:
ALTERNATE MODE: Demolishor should be painted WHITE. The toy lacks a lot of detail that can give a sense of scale, especially a lot of pistons and cables on the arm of the real excavator. The whole "body" is off in shape and proportions, and it can't swivel on top of the tracks, so the arm will always point in the same direction. The tracks are made of rubber, but they can't roll because they're permanently attached with screws to the two wheels inside each track. They even have a small hole that connects to pegs in the body. The tracks are fake, but there's no little wheels either, so the toy can't roll in any way.
So, this toy doesn't roll, the body doesn't swivel and then the only moving part is the arm, which has 3 points of articulation.
Transformation is a little bit hard, especially because both modes are not familiar and you don't know how it should look in the end. Also, instructions are accurate, but aren't very clear.
ROBOT MODE: You'd think that the excavator mode was sacrificed in order to have a great robot mode, but you'd be wrong. The robot design is intended to balance like a Segway on one big wheel alone, as it has no legs. This limits a lot of poseability, because you'll need to use both arms to stand the toy like a tripod. Because the head is permanently attached to the body and there are no legs, the only articulation is in the arms, but it's useless for posing because they're needed to stand the toy.
The toy in general seems to have few pieces, so durability should be good except for the delicate handrails that follow the contour of the excavator and it's stairs. Mine shows white stress marks where pressure has been applied by the twist ties that hold the toy in place within the package. Paint application is scarce, resorting more to molded colored plastic.
To sum things up, the toy has very limited poseability and detail for a toy in the Voyager line. There's much more molded detail in the medium-sized Deluxe toys (like Sideswipe, Sideways, Rampage).
This is the "less bang for your buck" toy that I've seen from the ROTF movie. I recommend you to get a couple of Deluxe toys instead of this... or that you save a little and get Optimus Prime in the biggest Leader line, which is the greatest movie toy I've seen.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (gift for 8 year old birthday) 『I ordered this for my grandson's 8th birthday. He really likes Indiana Jones at the moment. He has enjoyed playing with this toy and uses his imagination a lot.』
(Fun but my kids didn't play for too long. Depends on YOUR child.) 『I have a 3 1/2 year old and 7 year old (both boys). We put this together right away. They both played with it for maybe 30 minutes and haven't touching it since. I think that if your kids are always playing with play sets, they will love it. My boys are a little more of the outdoors running around or video game type. I think it is very detailed and fun IF your kids will sit and play with it.』
(Bring toys to school!) 『Wowsers. If you told me that Korean children who born almost twenty years after the last Indiana Jones film would dig this playset so much, I wouldn't have believed you - and yet, here we are.
I am an American teaching English in a small Korean town. I bought this playset as an Indy fan and to show it to my kids. They went nuts over it. They love the 'boulder action' especially, and never hesitate to flip over the 'quicksand' feature and the hidden stairs.
Would I have liked a few more features? Sure, maybe like the throne room that appears at the end of the picture, or maybe some kind of 'escape route' the figures could slide out of. Also, the 'whip swing' that the characters can haul about on pulled off after less than an hour - be ready re-tie it. But you know what? My students love the thing. And that alone makes it a great toy.
It comes with two figures, a well-detailed Indy and an Ugga (?) Warrior. It can actually make for an iteresting conversation as to where the warrior is from - Peru, I think - which can then lead to discussions about geography (the kids think he's an early Native American).
I picked this up on Amazon for an amazing 24.99. Definately worth the price.』
(great fun for the Indiana fan!) 『This was just what I was looking for for my son's 6th birthday. It is good quality and sturdy, has held up to over a month's constant play. Really let's the childs imagination go to work.[...]』
(My six year old and four year old are indiana jones fanatics) 『And they were unable to walk away from this play set for three hours on the first day, and have continued to play with this set, despite getting oodles of holiday gifts. It is good quality, with an Indy and a bad guy and just enough moving parts to encourage them to fill in the action. That said, shop around!! the price on this varies wildly. We got it on the low side, which is just how I like it. 』 『Entering the Ancient but still dangerous lost temple of Akator with the Russians hot on his heels, Indy finds himself confronted with the most devious series of traps and puzzles he has ever encountered. A single misstep could result in doom for him and his companians. It will take every bit of his wit and skill to avoid both the Soviet soldiers at his back, and the deadly pitfalls before him. * Swing past danger! * Collect and add other figures to your collection! * Brand new in manufacturer's package.』

I wanted this more as a robot but since the robot mode sucks, Im trying to get a refund and get the tank. Take me seriously! do not get this toy for a little one! I think you should go with the [...] one if your daring.』
(Beautiful piece of transformer artwork) 『Grindor like Blackout has the same vehicle mode and helicoptor mode. What makes Grindor more attractive is the figures robot mode excellent for display and cool gimmicks to mess around with. This figure is excellent for the shelf of a collector or a kid although transformation maybe be a little tedious at first it's alot of fun and can turn out to be a joy. I reccomend this to anyone.』
(great toy, for display, not for youngsters!) 『Number one: Superb detail on this repainted 'blackout'. My goal with this purchase was solely for something nice to set up on my shelf and this figure provides exactly that. The detail built into this guy is amazing. The helicopter mode looks like the real thing and the robot mode is straight from the movie! Very accurate recreation. It doesn't feel like a toy that would last too long in the hands of a child like I was, but on the shelf it's my crown jewel.』 『GRINDOR is a born soldier. He is both a highly talented fighter, and an instinctive strategist. Every moment of a battle is laid out in his head before the first shot is ever fired. He is so talented at anticipating his enemys moves that he is almost never surprised. Whenever he can, he ensures himself a place at the direct center of a fight so that he can bring his powerful weaponry to bear on the AUTOBOTS around him, destroying as many as he can as quickly as possible.』

But, it's actually much smaller. Its about the size of an action figure. But i do like it. It's a nice little collectible doll. I have not taken it out of the box...use it for collectors reasons only lol.So i cant tell u about it other than that.』
(Doll More For Collecting Than Playtime...) 『This doll is for an adult and is still in the box. It is a great doll for a collector. Not sure about the durability but surely an older child could play with it. I like it but her expression is a little odd.』
(Too Small and Fell Apart Already.) 『I bought two of these dolls for my girls and I was shocked to say the least. For the amount of money this doll is about 5 inches tall and is hard (even her hair). Right away the boots fell off to reveal a "peg" leg, not even a foot. And the face fell off! That was weird. Not suitable for a toy, or children, and a complete waste of money! I bought this thinking it was a "doll" and not a bendable like the others shown but it is small and bendable and easily broken. Not happy.』
(we LOVE this Coraline!) 『My daughter wanted this doll for her 7th Birthday.I was a bit disappointed in the size when I first opened the shipping box but the quality of the doll well makes up for its size.My daughter absolutely loves it!I would not mind spending the money to buy one of the other Coraline figures as well. The doll looks just like in the movie and if you watched the DVD extras on how they made Coraline you will appreciate this doll.』 『This special edition figure of Coraline from Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman's hit stop motion film features a brand new outfit and facial expression not available anywhere else. Coraline also sports a fully poseable bendable doll body and articulation at the neck, wrists and boots.』
