They are very big, much bigger than the ones that were shown in the original series, Just like a previous reviewer said, think of the one giving birth all the time in the show so it's at least canon. the sound effects are perfect, exactly as I remembered it and its got an nice vibrate to go with it.
they use 2 AA batteries that are included, I haven't used it long enough to judge on efficiency, but for the past 2 weeks since I bought it, It's still using stock batteries so that's a good thing.
I love how there's a velcro opening for the electronics, it's very accessible and it blends in perfectly. The first time I opened it I couldn't figure out how to open it since it's well hidden (it's where the tag is.) Changing batteries involves a phillips screwdriver, and there's a switch to go from the "I like humans" sound to the "DIE YOU DIRTY KLINGONS" sound.』
(Great Tribble) 『I had bought a tribble from another site because it was cheaper. Well you get what you pay for! You almost had to bang that tribble to get it to do anything! I then ordered this Tribble and I was amazed at the difference all you have to do is touch it for it to react. It has two great settings. It was a gift for my 30 year old son who has loved Star Trek since he was a kid. When we were carrying it in the sack to the door it was shaking and cooing all the way to the door. Needless to say he was thrilled. Also the Tribble is a great large size and very very hairy!』

The info says it's 6in across, but when it actually arrived it was more like 9in. This thing is HUGE, think the size that was giving birth to all the babies in the episode. It's really cute and squishy though, and the sounds are realistic. So realistic my cats think it's a prey item! They've stolen it a few times already, but haven't managed to damage it yet, so it's pretty sturdy. The velcro area that houses the battery and on/off switches is roomy enough to pull the box out so you can see what you're doing without ripping any seams. All in all, it's a pretty cool item, as long as you can hide it from your pets!』

The velcro that allows you access to the switch is easily hidden, but pretty easy to manipulate. I haven't had it long, but it seems well made. The sounds are realistic and change with different actions. He is big into the Army and this toy really does it for him. It is durable for him--he is a rough kid. The only complaint I have is the tail wings come off fairly easily but I think some glue would fix that. I would definetely reccommend this toy and would certainly buy it again.』
(Great Sounds, Cruddy Toy) 『The picture on the box front looks great. The picture on the box back looks pretty good. The actual jet looks not nearly as good.
The detail on the jet is not at all good. The color isn't black; it's more like navy. The tail fins and wings snap on. They are a lighter shade of navy than the jet and so look like they are separate pieces. The finish on all the plastic makes it look cheap IMO.
The sounds are great. The jet flyby sound is fantastic as are the firing sounds which include both blasts and bullet ricochets. The alarm beep sound is cool, and the several pilot communication sounds are very good.
Also, you can play sounds simultaneously. So, you can play the flyby and the pilot communications. Or the flyby and the gunfire.

(Great toy) 『Bought this for my 5 yr old nephew, took me all day to teach him how to put it back together after launching the motorcycle. My 6 year old son got this for Christmas and it didn't work when we took it out of the box. We tried for about 3 hours to find out why it wouldn't work, and never could figure out a reason.
The problem we had is the motorcycle wouldn't even fit into the bat mobile. We thought maybe we were putting it in wrong, the instructions didn't help at ALL, because we did what it said and still it wouldn't go.
This is not a well thought out toy, and they could have made it easier to use. The only reason we bought the toy was for the "idea" that the motorcycle would fit into the car. We even had a hard time keeping it together, and 2 pieces broke off while trying to figure out how it works.
There are better toys out there that are more fun than this. My son wanted this set so he could play with all of the little figures that go with it. This toy is flimsy and doesn't really do much of anything. For $20 it should be better. The only thing I like is that it folds for easy storage. I for one don't understand the quality of the toys lately. This particular toy shouldn't be more than $10.00. I find that the Super Hero Squad sets work pretty well with the Batman Imaginext sets, etc., because the sizes are pretty comparable. This set gives your super hero fan a little city to stage battles. Problems that we have experienced -- the "landing" for the gun comes off pretty easily, and it is too difficult for our four year old to get back on his own. Same can be said if it comes apart -- too hard to set it right on their own. But, I like that it folds up and the colors are great. An absolute plus that Ironman came with this one. The main pluses are that my kids (3 and 5 yr) still play with it occasionally and they got it 8 months ago. The minuses are that 1)it is difficult to put together and doesn't stay together; 2)there is really no track for cars to just drive or race on-every peice of track ends in a crash/stunt so it is a lot of dead ends; 3)we never even got the most expensive peice to work properly. So if you have someone who likes a lot of crashes, afterwhich everything must be reset, then this is for you. If not, maybe something with an actual "circut" would be better. We are looking for something new from Santa...』
(Finally, a decent Hot Wheels Line from Mattel) 『Unlike many of the endlessly boring booster sets Mattel has released in the recent years, the Trick Track series is actually quite fun. Sure you have to buy a few different sets to extend the chain reaction of events, but I have to say, it's worth it (providing you already own a bunch of cars). The sets are very easy to put together, and are really well thought out, even down to storing them back in their reusable boxes. You can mix and match sets, and really experiment with tons of layout possibilities which can keep the kids busy for hours. Oh and best of all, with the exception of the¨Power Loop¨ set, there's no need for batteries...finally!』
