(megaman zero) (So much potential to be a great figure.) Pretty good colors and close to the popular Gameboy advance game. the only drawback is the legs don't have anywere nere the articulation found in the arms..if it did then maybe this would get a 5 star rating. also the hair on the back of the figure can come off just in case it gets in the way when you are trying to use the arms. also the blades are perfect they fit very close to the video game, and consequently they fit perfectly into the hands and even when you move them around quickly they still stay in place so you can play as much as you want with the swords without worry of a flying sword to the eye. The legs are another story they bend at the knees, and twist left and right at the ankles and forward and back thats about it the one major flaw with this figure not enough articulation in the legs. other than that if you are a megaman fan or just a person looking for a cool robot rouge kind of figure then this is the figure for you. I love Zero and the megaman series, so when I saw this figure I had to get it, especially since it was only $3. THe figures quality is great, aside from the swords, which should've been translucent, and the lack of articulation. It's hard to get the figure into any good "action" poses because of the lack of enough joints and swivel points. I reccomend this figure to anyone who likes megaman and wants a nice figure to put on display. This review is about the mega man series 6' zero version 2 figure, which is actually an action figure of mega man zero from the popular gameboy advance series. Zero comes with a cool miniture transparent zero figure from the classic mega man x series, and 2 z-sabers. I highly recommend this figure for mega man fans and collectors. I'll keep this short and sweet. This is one my favorite sculpts by Jazewares. This figure really looks like MMZ Zero through and through. And because of that, many, and I do many many, of the shortcomings of this figure can be overlooked. Like... The articulation. Jazeware dropped ball jointed hips for simple swivels. This makes it hard to get Zero into any truly dyanmic poses. The cuts at the knees are horrendous btw since we are talking about the legs. There is only a swivel cut in the boot unlike the other Jazeware Megaman figures which have side to side and up and down articulation on the feet. :-/ The arms came out ok though. Zero only comes with two swords. The swords look almost exactly like the in-game swords. BUT, the glaring ommision of the actual sword hilt makes the swords look cheap. Plus they should be translucent green instead of a solid color. Ouch Jazewares. To add insult to injury, they didn't even make his gun for him. He always starts with his pistol. I would have much prefered this over a second sword. The hair on the figure looks pretty good but once you start to turn it it gets really loose and can fall out. Outside of these faults the figure looks so darn nice and is pretty much a replica of Zero version 2 from the games. BUT, when I compare that to the countless hours my son spends playing with them indoors and out, setting up battles, joining them them in with his Hot Wheels, Lego blocks and Lionel Trains, providing dialogue as he directs the action, THEY OFFER tremendous play value. Since he got them at Christmas, his video game consoles have taken a BIG back seat to the kind of play I think is far more valuable. Transformers - big hit since the movie - but they are tough and tedious to transform. Takes an engineering degree. Kids love playing with them but they want them transformed all the time and that is not quality time with the kids. I just picked up Dreadwing from the movie deluxe line today. I have always liked the Decepticon Jets and I just had to have this one even though he is not featured in the 2007 movie. The figure comes packed in his alt mode which is a really attractive MiG 29 Fulcrum in Russian winter military camo. The only drawback to the alt mode is the large cylinder hanging under the belly that becomes Dreadwing's legs. This is a similar gripe to the one I have for Starscream, the scale appearance of the jet makes sacrifices to the needs of a transforming toy and just stores extra parts folded up under the body. The underbody portion also has 4 small wheels so you can roll him around if you like. There is no proper landing gear. There are 2 missles that double as afterburner jet blasts in the alternate mode. The Robot mode is where things get a little interesting. This robot is much like Starscream in his simian appearance. he has a very heavy upper body with tiny little legs. The nose cone of the jet simply folds backward to reveal a "lensface" head with no real features. I find it to be a very strange design choice to have these large autonomous robots be completely featureless in thier facial anatomy. It makes the character seem a bit of a throwaway, but I guess it serves the souless nature of the decepticons that they are trying to achieve in this generation of toys. The robot mode is fairly fun though, and he has double missile launchers for hands, again, just like starscream. He is a good addition to the deluxe line as he is the only deluxe figure that is an aircraft. This figure is from the Transformers Movie line of figures. (amazing) I'm a fan of Mazinger since I saw the original series back in the 80s translated in Spanish. It was awesome to see this valiant machine powered by Koji Kabuto take damage from so many battles and keep going. Of course it was later replaced by Great Mazinger and further by the ultimate reincarnation Mazinkaiser. It could never replace the original in my heart but I couldn't resist owning it. So here I am a few dollars short anticipating its arrival. Revoltech sounds like this awesome new way to pose figures. The pictures show 'kaiser in these awesome poses. Now it's here. The detail is amazing. The extra arts are awesome. The arm... is stuck. I try to loosen it an d it cracks. I drop the sword and it breaks. I glue it together and finally acquire some poses. But it's not the experience Revoltech promised. The bending of joints is hard. The toy is so small that you just know the box is where it belongs, not in your hands. So much for the ultimate machine. Fist and foremost, let me say: this is not the first Revoltech action figure I have. I find Revoltech to be something diffent and unique. and it's all due to their joints. It's amazing how many variety of possition each Revoltech has. But this one in paticular had a little accident. As I was putting it in a possition, one of the joints broke. Therefore, if you have a Revoltech figure make sure you know witch way the ends are in before you adjust them. To call it a toy is to say a ferrari is a car. This is a collectable, a true anime collectors action figure, not a toy. You don't play with it you admire it! It's multiple articulation poses makes one of a kind in your shelve. The figures from Revoltech rock! The only constructive critics that I'd make to the guys at Revoltech are: -Some hand base slots are difficult to manipulate in making it enter with the joint articulation system. -Mazinkaiser is great but it would be much greater in having in the form of it's predecessors: Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger. one of the best works of revoltech, a great item for collectors, if you love mecha an mazinger z and all series this is a must have. My 3 year old boy loves this set. My 5 year old earned these with his allowance. He's very happy with them! He carries them everywhere with him and even has a few to share with his 4 year old brother. It's got all the main justice league good guys, so we were happy with that. Wonder Woman is the only one that turns at the waist, so we're trying to be more careful with her, not to break her in half (we got a Flash like that that broke in half coming out of the packaging). Good set! There are 7 original Justice League SuperHeroes. They are just the right size for my gradson to play with. I know he'll have a lot of fun with them. Well, the paint job on Spinosaurus isn't as colorful as the other dinos in the fabulous Papo collection - but you can touch him up yourself, no problem. Overall, the design is fantastic - the mouth gets a lot of attention, and if you paint his sail bright and colorful, the toy stands out amongst the Papo line. Spino IS massive, and the face is really terrific; a ton of character. The paint job is a little bland, but the toy is still a superlative representation, nonetheless. The sheer scale and design quality are exceptional, as with all the Papo dinosaurs. You'll love it!! The papo Spinosaurus has beautiful quality and it's huge! It's jaw can move up and down. We have been collecting the animal sets and this one is wonderful. There are very small pieces though so not for children who still put objects in their mouth. The big cats heads move and it has the bowls and mice. We love playmobil and we like the fact that it is made in Germany! You can't go wrong with playmobil. The friendly farm cats are the favorites of the small girl. The cuddly tomcat purrs as he rubs himself against her legs when she brings a bowl of fine food. He was so excited to find it on-line and talked me into buying it. Wasn't expecting much, but had to admit it was pretty cool. We ordered it on a Saturday and received it on Thursday - pretty impressive! The set is basic but has all the right pieces to turn the child into a John Cena wrestler. The pants adapt to fit a preschooler to a second grader just add a white T-shirt and the clothing is set. The huge medal on the chain is hysterical - very shiny!! All in all a great buy!
