FUN: My two year old just loves this toy. He will sit for AGES and play with this. I cannot rate durability because I just purchased it... but the FUN factor is a 10+. [...] FUNCTIONS: This has 6 buttons that you can select and they have different times...ranging from 1 minute to 3 minutes. You then hit the "start" button, and the microwave lights and the turn table starts to rotate. The last five seconds of cooking... the light turns to red and flashes with a buzzer and your food is COOKED. So much fun! FOOD: The pizza slice is a hard molded plastic. They rest of the food is that softer type of plastic that if you were to press too hard it would squish. My only complaint is that the "hamburger it comes with - the pieces are slippery when you try to stack them all and so it is not possible for a two year old to actually build the hamburger... but I am sure next year he could use that piece of food. Right now he just "cooks" the chicken, hot dog, egg and pizza. SIZE: This is approx. 9 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 6 inches high. I bought this for my 4 yr old and she loves it. It has realistic sounds and movement. It's quite durable, she's dropped it several times (not on purpose of course) and it still looks and works perfectly. I paid less that $10 at TRU in Nov 08, I feel I got my money's worth and then some. this was great while it lasted, worth the $12 I paid for it in TRU last year, but i wouldn't get another one for more money based on the fact that it stopped working for no apparent reason after not quite a year. We gave this to my daughter for her second birthday. She loved it right away. Actually, she saw the microwave before I wrapped it and could not stop talking about it. When she opened her gifts, she just kept tossing them aside until she opened this one. She plays with it throughout the day. We were going to get her an entire kitchen set but I think she will be all set for quite some time with just the microwave. She figured out how to work the buttons within minutes. You need to press one of the buttons, then the start button. It only works with the door closed. When you press Start, the light turns on, the food rotates and there is a whirring sound. When the time is up, it dings several times. It comes with food, plates and utensils. What more could you ask for? If you don't have room for a kitchen set, like me, just get this one item and you will be all set. I actually bought this at a well known toy store for less than half the price. Sorry Amazon. The "Just Like Home" microwave oven has lights and sounds like a real microwave. Close the door, select the "food" you would like to "cook", press the start button and the inside light will come on and the turntable will spin. An electric timer counts down the time and beeps when the food is done. Just Like Home! And the research said the GemMagic was better so I decided to try it. Her mother, not a crafter, couldn't make it work and got extremely frustrated. But I was able to figure it out in about 10 minutes and my niece caught on right away and has probably used every jewel by now. It does take a little bit of strength to push down the jewel; our machine seems slightly misaligned with the bottom plate. But for $20, my niece is happily bedazzling everything in sight. Overall, not a bad buy. I love the gems I bought from Amazon!! Amazon was very helpful with my purchase. The gems for the bedazzler come in all colors and shapes and work very well. Continuing the success of last year's build-a-droid each one in this wave comes with a component to build the silver protocol droid U-3PO. The next figure in the line is #41: Princess Leia. This is Leia from the end of the film where she is on the medical frigate with Luke. Collectors will note that this is just the VOTC 2004 Princess Leia with a new head and slightly different sleeves. She has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational and vertical), wrist (rotational), torso (rotational), hips (vertical), and knee (rotational and vertical) articulation which gives her a good 19 ranges of movement. She comes equipped with a black BlasTech E-11 blaster rifle. There is also the right leg of U-3PO as well, the remainder of which is with figures #38 - #40 and #42 - #43 in the current line. A nice figure but if you have the VOTC figure you might give this one a miss. Really for completists only. On the hospital ship Redemption, Leia watches over Luke as he is treated for the injuries from his lightsaber duel with Darth Vader. Leia, in turn, is comforted by Luke as her thoughts turn to rescuing the carbonite-frozen Han from Jabba the Hutt. Prepare to head into an out-of-this-world adventure when you team up with this detailed Princess Leia figure. Great figure for the price and the detail is amazing! gotta love McFarlin toys! The Sword looks exactly like it does in the game. This is a review for the colored Arbiter figure. For a review on the Active Camo Arbiter look in my other reviews on profile page. This Arbiter figure stands 6.5 inches tall. This is figures format is statue. Meaning there are no movable parts. The pose is well chosen. The Arbiter is in an attack stance while holding an energy sword. The design is highly detailed and acurate. I was impressed at the level of details observed in the armor and skin texturing. The paint helps to distinguish between skin, blue armor straps (unlike the active camo arbiter which is difficult to see) and golden armor plates. The energy sword which is a mottle of light blues and whites. The 7.25-inch wide by 3.75-inch deep base is just as textured as the figure. Unfortanantly the color reminds me of dried mud. The Arbiter stands on the base by way of two pegs which are difficult to insert into his feet, but once on there he stays put. Overall this figure is an accurate portrayal of the Halo 3 Arbiter. Make absolutely sure you look at the second photograph of this figure before ordering. That's the one I got. It has no painting or coloring at all, being simply a translucent plastic cast figure. I'm not sure why anyone would want such a thing, unless it is for someone who wants to paint it themselves. The only reason I can see why the manufacturer would want to vary the color is give them an excuse to save money on production cost. The fact that you don't get to choose which you want supports that interpretation. So unless you are prepared to accept something that looks like a crystal statue made of plastic, don't get this. The Legendary Collection is comprised of highly detailed, non-articulated, large-scale figures. Accurate down to the smallest detail, the legendary figures are posed to re-create the look of in-game play. Arbiter may come Clear or Cloaked. (I WANT HIS COAT!) (Axel Action Figure) first off let me say I'm a BIG fan of KH2, and organization 13. When I got the action figure i was realy exited. My sister and I opened the package, and I was very pleased. The clothing matches the outfit form the videogame, the hair looks awsome, and there are many posses you can do with it. Although when I opened it I wanted to change the hands, and a few miutes later they broke. It's not that I wasn't being delgate with it,( I practically treated it like glass)but to me it seems like a design flaw. usually you twist things off, but when I did that to the right hand broke. then I tryed pulling the left hand, and it broke too. The directions didn't help ether, it was pretty confusing and sort of impractical. I had to super glue it back on, and it looked a little weird. sadly the next day when i put Axel on my book shelf he fell off and the front part of his hair(the two spikes at the top) broke. i super glued it back on and it looked okay, although he sort of looked like a unicorn -_-'. though this was my fault, just make sure to be careful when you prop him up on your manga shelf. besides the hands, and hair I realy like the action figure. it's an over all good product and i was very happy with it. I recommend that you shouln't try and take it off the hands, chances are it will brake. I think i'll get the Roxas one too>w< I bought one for my niece and loved it, so I just had to get one for myself. LOL! This figure is great... however... as another review said, my Axel figures hands did break. It wasn't just yours! LOL. It's okay, though. He's a display item only, so it's not too bad. He's still a great figure. I love him. I was very happy with this product! he is well made and a good representation of him in the game! one thing though. just be careful when you take off the hands. it might have just been mine, but when i took them off they broke. so I had to hot glue them onto his wrists. oh well.. it doesnt cripple him too much lol. The Axel Action Figure rules. I just unwrapped it the other day and It pretty much has not left my side. literally I tied a ribbon around him and tied it to my belt (Not that that's weird *Shifty eyes*) And anyway, the coat is correct to the game and the Chakrams are to the exact. He is really well made and is very durable. The only problem I have found is that at first he's a bit stiff and the hands are hard to change around. I'm very afriad that I'm going to break his arms off and I got stabbed in the eye by his hair (serves me right for being too close to his head checking out his tattoos under his eyes) But that was my fault. Over all he rules and I'm going to get the Roxas action figure. :3 This item was purchased as a gift.
