(AT-TE leg fix) (Hasbro's AT-TE Walker - a true let down) (THE LEGS DO NOT STAY ON!!!!!) (I was a little skeptical but..) I recieved this as a bday gift from my girlfriend. I won't reiterate the features and rave about it's size and features. Others have already done that. IMO, this is definitely one of the best Vehicle/playsets made for the line, topped only by the Millenium Falcon. I heard about the leg issue after the fact, but have not had any issues. Being that this is a newer one, it may have the new legs on it. Mine has been sitting on the floor for a few days and I have not found it toppled over due to a leg seperating. In fact, the only time one did come off, is when I stood up quickly, my leg asleep and my 200lbs came down at the base of one of the center legs and it popped off. I won't hold that against it. That said, I think that while this is touted as a vehicle(it does have small wheels) it is certainly more of a playset(read play on and in and around). Much like the MF is. Like the MF, the sounds, lights, features and detail in this is great. Certainly, if you have the gimp legs with yours, contact Hasbro and they will send the replacements, and they should have no problem. We purchased this item for our son for Christmas. We were very disappointed to find that the legs would not stay on. This is a known problem as others have posted. I did find a phone number on another post. Hasbro customer service - 800-327-8264. I called, they were very nice. They asked for the date code from the bottom of the walker. They took my information and I received a new full set of legs within a week. These work great and my son loves the toy! I promised my little guy his Star Wars justice. The AT-TE Walker is not durable and is of poor quality for such a costly price. My son has collected many good quality Star Wars toys, figures and vehicles and this is the only one that is a true let down. As soon as you put it together and attempt to move it, the vehicle falls apart. Hasbro's "contact us" site is continuously down. Please do not buy this toy if your child wishes to play with it. A friend and I both purchased this AT-TE for our boys. Both of us had problems with the legs staying on. Her husband was able to adjust the screwes to make it work, but you can only play with it "carefully", or they fall off, which is a little riduculous. I have not been able to adjust the screws to make it work. Adjusting the screws is NOT part of the directions. What a disappointing christmas toy! Like many kids my son's age (almost 6) he is a huge Star Wars fan and this was on his list for Santa Claus to bring. Well, I am a big fan of reading reviews before I buy things, especially for toys this expensive and Santa didn't bring this toy after I read the reviews. My son got a few gift cards for Christmas and chose to buy this on his own...even after his still skeptical mom tried to warn him away from it. We brought it home and I carefully put it together, checked and rechecked to make sure I had done it correctly...because I read the reviews. I wanted to make sure that I had the correct legs for the correct location (is the ML leg--middle left--my left if i'm looking at the vehicle from the front or back) and that I turned them to make sure they were locked in place. I made sure the legs were in the correct position so all 6 legs were touching the ground and then I tumultuously handed it to my anxiously waiting son...as I held on to the box and receipt, prepared to take it back. Well, we have had it a little over 2 weeks and haven't had one problem, and it has been kid tested. It has held up to play dates with 3 rough/tough 5/6 year old boys. It goes all over the house with him, being carried and pushed on hardwoods, tile and carpet and nothing has fallen off. The wheels still work, the bay doors open with a push of the button. My son loves turning on the tank and pushing the buttons to hear the noises and sayings from the movies. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because it's only been 2 weeks but so far so good...i kept the box and receipt though. She's the wife of Scott Free and she's strong and invincible so he better stay in line. This is her from Wave 7 of the DC Universe Classics line. Her figure seems just a touch smaller than maybe it should be, she is called BIG Barda after all. I suppose it is a fine line to walk with a character like this making her look tough yet feminine at the same time. Her sculpt, however, is quite detailed. The suit she wears is a kind of armor and has a textured scaled appearance that is intricate. It also has several sculpted bands around her arms and legs, a gold chest plate and gold skirt with red and black symbols and she sports a cape. It's all fancy in a Fourth World kind of way. Her face is actually attractive and realistic looking - many companies have difficulty making attractive female faces. She also wears her big black yellow and red helmet which has plenty of detail all of its own. Note that there is an alternate version without helmet with her hair out but I have not seen that one in person. Her blue suit seems to have a bit of wash to better bring out those small details. She actually is pretty colorful with light and dark blues, gold, red, yellow and black and it is all pretty darn flawless. I found only one flaw on mine and it is so small that you'll think I'm weird for even noticing. One of her eyebrows is painted as raised which looks fine but on closer inspection there is a tiny raised surface on her face where the eyebrow should have been painted making it even with the other. Maybe the painter was using artistic license. I can't count off for this since it is miniscule and looks fine. She's as well articulated as any of the male DCU figures sporting a ball neck and shoulders, pin elbows and rotating hands, the tilt and the turn waist joints, hip, knee and ankle joints. The only issue is that the helmet limits neck movement quite a bit and the skirt limits hip movement. Her Mega-Rod weapon fits in either hand and looks fine in sculpt and paint although it is small and not very intimidating. Because it is small and does not fit tightly in her hand just be careful not to loose it. She comes with her piece of the Atom Smasher collect and connect figure. He's about nine inches tall and had great paint and details all his own so is worth it if you are interested in the entire line. In the end she's a pretty impressive female figure. This Endoskeleton is my favorite one yet. It would be nice if it came with the Hunter Killer but that's okay. I like this figure for design. I was always questioning between this and the 18" one with light up eyes from T2: Judgement Day. Comment which one I should get. this Saturday is "Shopping Day" for me. So I will be on the lookout for this figure. The T-RIP (Resistance Infiltrator Prototype) is the prototype (or daddy if you prefer) of the T-800. This is the endoskeleton T-RIP and is a silver version. He is a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side he looks good with plenty of details on the skull and especially the hydraulics and tubing in the upper torso area. There is plenty of detail on the legs and the feet look great. He has red plastic eyes connected to a small window of the same color material at the top of his head so if placed under a light his eyes will appear to glow. As clunky as my description is you really barely notice this small round window on his head so no worries there. He has two accessories that fit in his hands fine. One is a dark metallic colored gun. The other is a pretty long piece of pipe he can use to bust you up. The threaded end looks really good. Some negatives are size and articulation. In the size category he just looks kind of small and next to other 6" scale action figures this gets noticeable. Now in their defense, Playmates had to basically make a skeleton, which will of course be a bit scrawny looking and next to other 6" figures I can see where these are actually the right size to be a skeleton in this scale. But this is basically a movie monster and it couldn't hurt to be a little larger than life. Articulation is limited. You get shoulder and elbow joints and hip and knee joints and the feet rotate. That's about it. The shoulders have a good range of movement both up and down and side to side. The elbows go up and down and rotate but you have to work for the rotation and be brave. Hips and knees are forward and back only. You can move the waist but it snaps back to center. You can move the neck but due to hydraulics attached to the torso up to the base of the skull it pulls it back to center after time. I'd have been happy without that set of hydraulics if I got neck articulation out of it. He looks good and is fun but not quite as fun as he could be. If you like terminators and have the money then he's a worth while pick up. The 6'' Figures are fully articulated, come with multiple accessories, and exact movie styling. Each figure represents one of the main characters in the film. Like Marcus Wright, John Conner, or one of the evil Terminator robots! Each terminator figure has metalized parts and light pipe eyes!
