(AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME FUN!!!) 『This toy is absolute fun for both mom and son. If your kid has tons of hot wheels cars this is the perfect thing to get. Its so much fun to see which cars are the fastest. Also it basically comes right out of the box without all those stupid twist ties like every other toy usually has. Set up was very simple. I cant attest to the durability of this product at this point because we just opened it and it can be wobbly if your knocking into it alot. But its just so much fun. Also the "cars movie" (lightening mcqueen etc.) "mini adventures" cars work with this too.』
(Best toy so far) 『My 3 1/2 year old loves this thing. He was so excited we had to stop to calm him down after ten minutes of play. He actually slept with it. He has tried to race cars side by side on seperate pieces of orange track for weeks now and I feel bad I didn't see this toy before. Like all plastic toys they need some proper set up and supervision but this thing worked great for 3 hours no adjustments. Till he fell on it ,then we just put it back up . I've read some reviews that say these toys are flimsy but I don't want my son playing with a nice sturdy steel track bolted to the floor. That might cost more than 20.00. and he'd get hurt falling on steel. He's a klutz just like Dad, Great toy. 』

(Thomas trains without breaking your budget.) 『My son got into these trains at age 2 and when we bought him wooden trains he quickly made short work of them, chipping them and scratching the paint off the wood. That's why I love all these Thomas Take Along trains. The die cast is much more durable than the wooden ones and much more affordable. He can be rough with them, like a 3 year old can, and they are no worse for the wear.』

Shopping for him is challenging at best, but he is like any other toddler 3 years of age. He is very interested in firemen with the lights&sounds of all the rescue rigs. Having "Little People" means that he is able to hold one at a time in his little hand. He is unable to play with it as another child would, but this does work&it makes him smile!』

However, the white ladder keeps popping of with just the slightest amount of pressure. The rest of the truck is well made. The sirens are very realistic and not to loud. The Michael figure bends at the hips, he fits well into the seats. If only the ladder stayed on. He love's them (got 2 so he could share with his friends). Play time on the battery is around half an hour so getting extra battery packs is highly advisable. The Devil Ray has more range than the Komodo, so I would advise getting 2 of the Devil Ray as opposed to one of each. Performance - Great on relatively flat services - fast enough for a little guy. Thick grass will slow it down or even stall it. Anything thicker, forget about it. It works in the water as advertised(floats and moves around), which is cool, but make no mistake, this is no RC boat - it is slow at best, and the novelty wears off quickly. Very durable, but transponding wire casing (plastic tube)snaps easily - does not affect function and is a relatively easy fix. Overall, it's a great toy for a little guy.』
(First half hour was great. Then the disappointment set in....) 『This toy was fun for the first half hour while it worked correctly. Unfortunately, things began to go wrong at that point:
1. The range of the receiver and/or transmitter dropped from 40 feet to about 3 feet (3 feet being approximately the length of the controller antenna that had to be held within 6 inches of the car antenna) 2. Controls became random and erratic, with the car not necessarily following the remote control. 3. Forward motion on one side stopped altogether and only went in a circle unless reversing. 4. Battery life dropped from about 20 minutes after the 1st charge to about 5 minutes after the 3rd charge.
I tried recharging the car's battery, replacing the controller battery, staring at it thoughtfully and finally all-out shouting at it, but none had an effect (well, the shouting did, but only on me as I felt somewhat better afterward). The instructions were practically nonexistent and the 'Troubleshooting' section consisted of: 1. Charge battery. 2. Replace battery. 3. Put in trash bag and leave on curb***. ***(edited for clarity and grammar)
The packaging was a mess, and the outside portion of the box was from a different car (labeled Komodo Dragon with pictures and stick-on label saying so). All in all, this is about the most disappointing item I have bought through Amazon. Okay, it didn't work, that happens sometimes. But I don't really believe I actually got a "new" car. Certainly, it was not in its original condition in its original box.

We recieved notice that this product and the following list is non compliant to the new CPSC regulations that Congress has written for the toy industry. We were advised to destroy this product. Most of our vendors that have products that are non compliant are asking that they be destoyed and full credit recieved. Kid Galaxy wants them destroyed and will give 25% credit on these items so we will no longer carry Kid Galaxy as they are shifting there responsibilities to the independent toy stores to eat the cost of there non compliants items. (Good toys) 『This car was delivered on time. One but there was a problem with the radio signal. I contacted the manufacturers and they have agreed to send me a new one. Very good customer service. The car works great when it is working, very fast yet easy to control. It does great on rough ground, just what a little boy wants.』

(My boys love Geotrax) 『My 19 mo old just got this for Christmas, since his big brother (3 1/2) got a Geo Trax set and I had been advised to get a train for each of them. The cargo is fun, especially since we purchased the cargo loader set too. We have not had any trouble with the sizing of the trains - I would highly recommend Geo Trax.』
(Ridiculous) 『I am extremely disappointed in this train. As a design engineer, I can't help but think of the process used in designing GeoTrax toys, and I cannot believe they don't have a maximum allowable height&length for these. "Bull" is significantly taller than both of my son's other engines, and subsequently often gets stuck while passing under standard items (such as the upper level of the subway station). Additionally, the newer named engines seem to have a longer total length and wheel base than the older ones. This prevents them from working with some older Geotrax items, namely the roundhouse. This could have easily been prevented without sacrificing anything. Fisher-Price really dropped the ball.』
