(A good addition to your collection of "Cars")

『My two year old is very much into the movie "Cars" and he loves this car. If he were rating it, I have no doubt he would give it five stars or more. I gave it four stars due to the fact that it is a little bit bigger than hotwheels and matchbox cars, so occasionally it gets stuck in the Little Tykes train and track table, which frustrates my son.

Additionally, he slides this car across the floor to hit it into things. He doesn't throw the car, but after only a couple times, the car looked like it needs a new paint job. Although he does this to all his cars, this is the only one that has had the paint chip off like that. So I can't help but wonder if they used a lesser quality paint on this one.

But all in all, he does love this car, and I would buy it again.

『Good quality car with nice shiny paint job. Unfortunately it looks more like a collectors item than a childs toy. The paint can scratch easily and it's about twice the size of a normal matchbox/hotwheels car. This car can not be used with hotwheels/matchbox playsets due to it's larger size from what I've seen so far.』

『My seven-year-old son is obsessed with the Titanic. He loves his Sea Master RMS Titanic. He brought it to Sunday School on 1/18/09, to show his class. More girls surround him to look at the ship than boys, which surprized me. (If he was 10 years older, I think he would have been happier about this.)

I not sure how durable the ship is, but Joshua has had it a month now, and he has not broken the propeller off yet. This ship is a good deal for the price. It is not detailed enough to have great educational value, but that's not why we purchased it. There are many other more expensive models for older kids that can fulfill that purpose.』

『The toy comes with numerous "cool" details. The trap door, swing, movable stairs, and pulley system are all great fun for my grandson. What was NOT great fun was putting this together. First, a major piece was missing, which prevented the tree from being put together for my grandson in time for Easter. A big disappointment! Then, these have to be some of the WORST directions we have ever encountered. If it wasn't for the picture on the box, we would still be wrestling with it.The holes are not always drilled out completely, preventing the screws from going in. Also, it is not real stable. The one platform, which is separate from the rest, is wobbly. The stairs are supposed to be pulled up to the second story and kept there with the help of magnets. The platform moves, and the stairs drop down. Maybe if the magnets were stronger, it would help. But it is very frustrating for him when he plays with this aspect of the toy.There should have been another piece to anchor the platform in place and keep it from moving. I can see that this part would be broken easily if any pressure was placed on it. We may have to do some gluing and supporting to keep this toy from being broken.』

『My daughter is five years old and has a great imagination and absolutely loves this tree house. She will have many years of play, and use of her imagination and development. This is such an amazing play item and would recommend it to any parent to purchase. It's taller than my daughter and she's 43" tall and plays for hours on end. It was a christmas present, thank ~ you Melissa and Doug for creating such wonderful toys, also to create and celebrate on the excellent pricing of this item, it's very hard to find and quite pricey if you don't do searching on the net. $68.00 was a steal of a price for such a well made item.』

『I have four children ages 3-13. This toy was purchased for the children under age 5 however all my children have enjoyed this toy. I purchased some animals to use in the tree house, gorilla, tiger, bear, etc. They have their own little "Tarzan" theme going on right at home. They love the trap doors, stairs, ladders and all the peices that they can move. We even had animals swinging from the tree limbs. This is definately a big hit. My only concern is the durability. A few of the tree "trunks" are a bit wobbly. We tightened all the screws and can't seem to get them tight enough. With 4 active kids, we'll have to see how long this lasts.』

『This toy has been a great addition to my preschool classroom, the children love to use it. It's completely wooden with a real "tree" feel, which works great for my naturalistic program. The tree is also big enough for 3-4 children to use at the same time. However, on one occasion one of the children using the toy fell onto the stick that is intended for the tire swing to hang from, and it landed right below her eye leaving a nasty welt--a couple inches higher and it would have gone into her eye. I would strongly suggest removing that particular piece from the toy! We cut it off&hung the tire swing from the ladder, it's worked just fine. I'll be contacting the company to suggest making this a long term change!

Assembly was a bit difficult, but not terrible. All required hardware was included. Most Melissa and Doug toys can stand up to just about anything. This toy has taken a lot of abuse (as all toys do in a preschool environment!) and the base has stood up well. However, the swing fell apart within the first week&was impossible to repair, and the stairs jam on occasion. These are minor issues, compared to the overall quality of the toy, but should be taken into consideration. I looked at a number of options before purchasing this tree house, and feel that even despite these flaws this is still the best wooden tree house on the market.』

The Good: Impress friends and family with a tiny remote-control car that clings to walls and ceilings.

The launcher propels Nano cars at high speeds, allowing them to defy gravity and climb up walls.

Driving Up the Wall
With a sleek, lightweight design and orange-and-yellow detailing, the Nano climbs walls and even drives upside down. The controller/charger features a steering wheel, forward and reverse throttle, trim adjuster to optimize steering, and storage/charging compartment.

Before taking the Nano for a test drive, an adult should help install the controller/charger's six "AA" batteries (not included). The Nano itself comes equipped with a rechargeable battery, and the car's working headlights will flash when battery power is low.

To recharge, simply park the Nano inside the controller/charger. A flashing red light indicates the battery is charging, and in approximately one-half hour, the car will be ready to race.

Smooth Surface for Best Performance
Like any race car, the Nano must be operated in a suitable environment. Large, empty indoor spaces are best, and in order for the Nano to cling, all floors and walls must be clean and smooth. Left and right buttons on the controller allow you to adjust the trim and make the car drive straight.

On a smooth surface, the Nano has impressive scale-speed performance, reaching a speed of eight inches-per-second on the floor, and five inches-per-second on the wall or ceiling. Pushing the forward throttle to achieve maximum speed, then quickly turning the steering wheel, causes the Nano to spin.

A switch on the back of the Nano activates the Venturi fan, giving the Nano its suction power -- allowing it to cling to walls and ceilings.

Race Your Friends
This green-and-black Nano is one of a series of lightweight Zero Gravity cars. Different models of Nano cars (sold separately) are wired to different frequencies, allowing multiple cars to race simultaneously.
