Duck adds to my sons enjoyment of his Thomas trains. Good price&shipping service from seller.
My 2 year old and 4 year old LOVE Thomas stuff and this train is no exception.

My only negative is that if kids really beat on them, drop them on the floor, scrape them etc (which kids tend to do) the paint chips of a little. But they're made with real wood, so I guess that's to be expected.
If your child enjoys acting out the Thomas&Friends episodes, Duck is one of the more sensible engines. He is a big green tank engine with the GWR logo on the sides. He stands no nonsense from the engines and freight cars who try to boss him around, and does things his own way--the Great Western way. Unfortunately, sometimes the freight cars get the best of him, especially when they make him crash through a barber shop in "A Close Shave For Duck."

If you could use a sensible engine in your layout, then Duck is for you. Don't worry if he's accident-prone, though. You could always get an engine that will tow him back into place. Then, Duck will be ready to work the Great Western way again.
If you have the Thomas series wooden railway series, then by all means, be sure you get Duck. He's just one of the older trains, and is almost in each and every video. He doesn't usually have a large role, but he's a kind and good friend to all the engines. This guy gets taken to bed in our house and also, everywhere we go. It's pretty funny listening to all the role playing going on in the carseat with this guy and hey, he can even dance to the Wiggles! These trains definitely develop imagination and fine motor skills, but they also become friends. These wooden guys are VERY durable too. They don't chip like you'd think they would when dropped onto the floor. We plan on keeping our wooden train series and interconnecting them with a "real" train set when our little one gets older. Also, don't forget to check out the HO series of Thomas here on amazon. I didn't know they existed and what a neat way to introduce your little one to the fascinating world of trains. Something they can definitely grow up with and use for quite some time. Highly recommend Duck!
This toy is really durable. My sister threw it down our stairs a buch of times and it didn't even get a scratch. This is well worth the money and a great addition to anyone's collection.

We bought this product for one of our eight year old twin grandsons as a Christmas gift. Jack had seen it this past summer at FAO Schwartz and insisted on it as a gift. He loves it! He and his brother put jelly beans in the mixer and run it to have them come out the mixer into their mouths. It is a durable product which is important in their house of four pre-teen boys. And, I am impressed by the savings we received by buying it from Amazon.com. For youngsters interested in trucks this would be a great buy.
There are not many working large size concrete mixers out there. I found this plastic Bruder model. It is very cool looking but lasted about 2 weeks before one of the smoke stacks broke off and the gears striped out for the concrete drum. for $50 it should have been made of metal.
My 2 1/2 year old son loves trucks. He studies the way it works and plays with it for hours. He dropped some coins in it and I thought we would never get them out but when we spun the mixer the coins came out. It turned into a game.

A monster tub filled with enough tracks, curves, loop halves, bridges, etc..etc, to build the most outrageous courses. The kids (and adults) will have a blast coming up with different track configurations that look like something attraction out of a Six Flags park on steroids. The quality of the track and accessories make Hot Wheels play sets look ill. Matter of fact, we ran actual Hot Wheels cars on this set (using good ol' gravity of course) and they ran better then they do on the Mattel Track. Of course, when it comes to sheer speed, the Darda cars are like lightning bolts. Be advised, the tub is packed to the max - and I can guarantee, you will never get everything back in the tub once everything is removed. Take photos as you are removing pieces from the tub for the first time, so you can see how the company had everything laid out. They must have hired a Rocket Scientist to pack this set.

What more can you ask for - that DOESN'T require batteries for once!

I got this Darda set for my son this last Christmas. He loves it! We have had a lot of fun playing with it together. I will probably buy him more track and more cars in the future.
In the past we have purchased many different sets of Hot Wheels. My boys have always been drawn to the pictures on the outside of the box depicting wild loops and racing cars. However, upon opening, Hot Wheels has consistently disappointed. Hot Wheels is cheap and easily falls apart. The opposite is true with Darda. I was dubious at first to spend so much money. But this is an excellent product. My 4 and 7 year old boys really enjoy playing with this. The instructions are very good. My 4 year old is too young to follow the instructions but enjoys helping put the pieces together. The Create a Course System offers many different race tracks to build. The kids are limited only by their imagination. I also viewed a "You Tube" video clip depicting the Darda car racing. Check it out if you want to get an idea at how fast these little cars go. They go super fast and plus **No Batteries**!!
This is a great race track. There are over 30 different examples of different tracks to build and then add your imagination and the kids will never bore of it (not to mention the parents). It's fun to come up with different designs. The cars are amazing that they don't take batteries and are very powerful going through multiple loops with ease. Would recommend to anyone.
I bought this for my four year old for christmas. Once you figure out how all of the connecters work then it is easy to use. We have all been playing with it since. My eleven year old also loves it. This toy is great for creative, busy minds.

This is the second model we bought, thinking that the first one was just a lemon. the boat has no stability
and leans in the water to the point of having no steering. This must be designed for a bathtub where you can constantly correct the vessel to the upright position. the boat has minimal power/thrust so forget about using it anywhere there is a breeze or current or waves. if you want a bathtub sailboat- you can probably find a sturdier one for less than $35. If you want a sailboat for the lake, shore or pool- this is NOT the one. this product was a total let down for the little kids and the big kids too.

My first RC toy sailboat Sank on the third day and trial in the yard pond. Ran aground on the edge and sank by the stern. Fried the RC controls because they are not water protected and the hull had ZERO floation. Store refuned money. It also was supposed to come with rechargable batteries. Did not. Had an attachable keel with some keel weight. Some models shown have a rudder mine did not and was unable to use the wind to sail. It was fun but for a few dollars 25$ more the Sea Lite with motor was much more fun and durable and it has a rudder and trimable sails by RC this boat does not. It is a small pool toy and delicate and easy to sink and destroy and I enjoyed playing with it while it lasted which is why it is on the to fix someday pile. I would suggest anyone buying this put silicon sealer on the electronics and styrofoam floation in the hull too.

This is a great toy for my grandchildren, ages three and eight. It is not a sailboat however, since there is no rudder or keel. It is really a motorboat with twin screws for turning. I had to put holes in the sails to pervent overturning in even a slight breeze. I also tied the boom to the stern along the centerline to keep the boat upright. With these simple fixes, my grandchildren their boats.
The batteries were difficult to install and required a special screwdriver. After using the remote, the propeller got stuck, so it has been in the "repair pile" since its first use.
Get ready to ride the wind with this great looking radio controlled sailboat. Ready to run with 2 AAA and 3AA batteries so you can play with it right out of the box.

Douglas is a good engine and this one is a great buy for your money. The magnets work very well and they don't come apart in a second like some other toys do. Douglas would not be complete without his twin Donald. These toys are very durable and kids can play with them for hours.
Kids think this toy is very cool. It's very enjoyable and it's durable.

It's pricy for the size but good enjoyment is something that no amount of money culd buy.
Douglas is another in the fine line of Thomas the Tank Engine trains, and he upholds the tradition of fun, educational learning for children. Douglas has sleek black paint, a smiling face, and a large coal car that my son enjoys very much. Douglas has been an excellent addition to my son's Thomas collection. He is built strong for hours of use. Purchase Douglas or any of the fine Thomas trains. They are worth the money and your children will love them.
I noticed the numbers on all the engines so I bought this one so I could make it so my son could count the engines from 1-10. This is number 10. Only the coal cars are marked.
I have found that in a very very short time after purchase, the paint on all the Thomas&Friends trains I have purchased has badly chipped off. One would think for the price you pay the paint would last. Iwould recommend the age group to begin at at least 3, if not later asI do not think children any younger can appreciate the fact that thesetoys cannot be dropped into the storage box or anywhere without thepaint chipping off. I wish Learning Curve would use a more durablepaint, especially for the price of the trains and the fact that the company is appealing to children (only) 24 months and older! Further, the battery operated Thomas and Percy engines are difficult to turn off and on and also the paint chips off very quickly. I even had to return the battery operated Thomas soon after purchase as the screw to the battery compartment stripped and therefore I could no longer keep the compartment closed. With children who do not know to always turn the engines off when finished, the batteries are changed often and the compartment must be durable. Again for the price, one would think it could be more durable and perhaps have an autostop function (turns off after a few minutes of non-use)as with the Brio super red locomotive for the same price.

Nice product. Hours of fun for my little 3 and 4 yr old grandsons. They love the little cars they can send down the ramps. Very durable and easy to put together. Stays together well also. The boys figured out how to attach and unhook the tracks before grandma did. Works great with the mega blocks they already had!
My son Loves these cars and roadways. My only suggestion really, is to buy 2 sets so you can make an intersting and more fun roadway!!

I bought this as a gift for two one year olds for their birthday. I am told by their parents that they both loved playing with this and have entertained them for hours.
My 2-year-old has lots of fun with this, as do I! Easy to set up and put away, also easy to take with you on the road as it all fits back into its 'box'.

My only complaint is that some of the track pieces don't lock together securely to take the abuse from a non-graceful toddler; but i's not a major problem. Overall this is a great toy.

My grandkids love this plane, they are ages 3&6. This thing flies for blocks away. Go to a park and stand on a hill for best results. Going to buy another one!!
My kids got this for Chanukah.I have a 7 year old girl and 5 year old boy.They both love it,they have played outside all day with it more than once.It teaches them about science, and gets them outside running around.That Rocks, awesome toy.
I gave this to my son for his birthday, and he loves it. It has ended up on the roof a couple of times because it flies much farther than expected. The wind conditions make a big difference on how far it flies, though. A nice kite-flying day is perfect. On a still day with no wind, the plane doesn't go very far. Also, I didn't expect all the turns and loops it likes to do in the air. This makes it even more fun, and there is always a crowd of kids squealing and chasing it. It seems to be quite sturdy, since it's taken headers over and over again with no damage to the nose or wings. The only thing I would suggest is that you set it on the charger gently, since a forceful push can push the plastic part into the styrofoam and then you have to find a toothpick and fish it out again. Overall I would definitely recommend this plane for any kid who loves airplanes.
Awesome and easy to use for my 5 year old! Just watch out - it has landed on the neighbors roof before! Definitely look for a wide open space to fly this in. Love it!
