(So Much Fun!)

『We bought this last year for our son's birthday and we were all fighting over the remote control to play with it! It's so much more fun than a plain old R/C car or truck because it can also do Monster Truck tricks like spinning around and going up on its back tires. The battery cover for the remote broke almost immediately, but we were able to remedy that with a little chunk of wood (it wasn't quite at the same level as the surrounding plastic) and some duct tape. The truck itself has performed like a tank. Fun for five year olds and their parents!』

『We had bought one of those monster trucks available everywhere for the 2008 Christmas season. Those manufactured by New Bright. What a piece of trash it was, failed in the first hour of use with magic smoke from the flimsy circuit board. That was $40 down the drain. This Grave Digger truck, however, has proven tough as nails. The only problem we have with it is the limited range of the remote control, probably around 10-12 feet. Once the truck is outside that radius, it's dead until you get back in range and then it's fine. The stunts are a lot of fun as well. Our 3 year old son loves it, so it's a hit and well worth the money.』

『I bought this sort of as a joke for my boyfriend (and his cat). It's fun and the cat loves to chase it, but it doesn't always work and sometimes you have to hit it to get it going. Seems like there's a bad connection somewhere. Definitely pretty shoddy workmanship, so if you're looking for a quality toy or buying for someone who might throw a fit if it stops working, you might look elsewhere.』

(hard to fly)

『These were not as much fun as I hoped. We did play w/them a lot trying to learn how to fly. We could get them in the general area we wanted but never did get any tight control. Mine broke the first day and I had to super glue it nearly everytime I crashed (often:). The battery died quickly then they had to recharge. You need a large indoor space and they crashed in any small breeze (i.e.Furnace, Door opening). Over all I'd say they were disappointing.』

『These air hogs are very fragile. Not for kids or adults really. Looks nice and pretty on a shelf and you would think they were cool enough to play with. But one crash and they are junk.
Not worth the money on them.』

『Our 9 and 7 year old boys received these helicopters for Xmas and by far it was their favorite gift! They played with them for hours on hours Xmas day. These little helicopters fly just like they are advertised and the boys enjoyed battling against each other and shooting each other down. The only downfall is that they run out of charge rather quickly and they don't work well outside.』

『Fly the Spinmaster Air Hogs R/C Havoc Heli Laser Battle Helicopters together and have real live aerial battles. You receive 2 laser targeting Havoc Helis, 2 infrared remote control transmitters and extra tail propellers. No assembly required. Very easy to fly. Ages 8+. Four way control. Fly indoors in any room. Each transmitter/remote controller has 2 fire buttons and a speaker that emits authentic battle sounds. Average flight time aprox 6-8 minutes. Includes lithium polymer flight battery in the helicopter. Each transmitter requires 6 AA batteries (sold separately). You'll need 12 AA batteries in total. The transmitter doubles as the charger for the helicopter by connecting the supplied wire from the transmitter to the helicopter. Average charge time 15-20 min. If the helicopter flight time decreases you most likely need to change the transmitter batteries because they are no longer able to fully charge the internal helicopter battery. If the helicopter spins, press and release the trim control on the transmitter multiple times to trim the helicopter in the opposite direction of the spin. Do not fly outdoors. How the laser battle works: 1. Fly both havoc helis at once. 2. Fly into position and press the fire button on the remote controller. The heli will shoot an infrared beam at the other heli. 3. Not just for meant flying solo, the Havoc copters are designed for fun with others. In what is almost like a live video game, each helicopter uses its infrared beam weapons to engage in a mid-air battle against the other. The first pilot to hit his opponent three times with the beam (complete with battle sounds) will be victorious as the enemy heads into a wild tailspin. Six AA batteries are required, but not included, for the remote controls. The helicopters are powered by rechargeable lithium batteries, and the charger comes with the set.
