The service was great I bought this boat for my husband to drive around our back yard swimming pool. He and my grown son love it! It is FAST!! I had a question about the antenna and e-mailed the company and they got back to me immediately. Then I had a question about the battery charger and they were responsive right away and offered to send me an additional charger. The boat is fun and fast and the company selling it really backs up their product. You can order this knowing that if you have any problems or questions, you are not on your own, the company will be there to help. I own many RC boats in various sizes and styles and was skeptical about this purchase based on the low price. I was very impressed to discover internal props on the drive shafts to cool the motors. When I first tossed this in the water I was very impressed with the speed but my I was totally sold watching how quickly it turned. This has the tightest turning radius of any of my boats and is the most fun to run. One precautionary note: I had a collision right of the bat when testing this against a friend's boat and it knocked the battery loose. The shape of the batter is different than all my other boats and it seems top heavy. The battery flopped around the interior of the boat and broke those internal props that had so impressed me... so a little duct tape or quick check after a collision or jump might be recommended. I bought this for my niece last Christmas. She's been having a blast with it ever since. Plenty of range, great speed, and you can tell when the battery is dying so you can get the boat back to shore before it dies. Many reviews criticize the "short" battery life. Honestly, that's just the nature of the beast with RC cars, boats, and whatever. Anything longer than 15 minutes of full use is on the good side, and this boat delivers there. I was looking for a boat for a friendly family race over the 4th of July. Did not want to spend a bunch of money on it, and some calls to local hobby shops were very discouraging. Based on the positive review I saw here, I took a chance and ordered it. Wow... the boat is quick. Do not expect to use this in a kiddie pool. The boat can only go forward, and turns by cutting power to one of the two props. Don't lets its turning method discourage you I was shocked at how tight the turns were. I would estimate a turning radius of 2 feet or so. The only down side is the charge time vs play time, but even then it is great fun and well worth it. The set did come with Annie and Clarabel but they were die cast metal instead of the wood. At first I thought it wouldn't be a problem but when we returned home from our Christmas vacation my son found that the wheels were not spaced wide enough apart and were not big enough to work on the grooves of his wooden tracks. Plus, the magnets on these cars are not oriented properly to attach correctly to his wooden Thomas. Unfortunately the time has passed for me to return these. But if you do order them and want the cars to fit with your wooden railway I would confirm with the seller beforehand so you are not disappointed. If you have a Thomas set and a kid, it won't be long until you buy Annie and Clarabel, what would Thomas be without his coaches? They both arrived safely in a couple short days, ironic that they came by air. Same high quality and durability that we've come to expect from Thomas and his friends...at one of the cheaper prices around. Buy a set to go with them so you save the shipping. In the videos Thomas was given Annie and Clarabel as a reward, along with his own branch line. So Thomas pulls these two carriages most of the time. The child who receives these will play with them a lot. If the child watches the videos, I recommend Thomas, Annie and Clarabel and Sir Topham Hatt in the blue car as basics. Our little Thomas fanatic has what seems like miles of track and tons of engines and special cars for his set. Somehow, he lacked the passenger cars, Annie and Clarabel, and the toy stores we visited didn't carry them in the magnetized version. We found them on Amazon, ordered them, and he's delighted with them. Imagination is very educational and there are all sorts of things that happen with and to these cars as they interact with the rest of his set and work to resolve problems that pop up. Toys that "do things" are fun for awhile but those with intriguing features that you can have do whatever your mind can come up with are wonderful. These cars are well made and sturdy enough to cope with the roughest work. These are additions to my Grandson's vast Thomas collection. These toys are very durable and provide endless amounts of entertainment for both him and his imagination. I'm sure these will be hand-me-downs. The battery-powered engine is preferred by all the children over the regular, old, engine that has to be pushed! My kids love seeing this train move around the tracks themselves or pull a bunch of other cars. My kid just turned 3 and isn't that careful with his trains and this one has taken a pretty decent beating but hasn't had any problems. It is all metal and the paint did get a chip or two at the corners. There isn't a magnet in the front of the train as the regular trains have. The only downer is that it is a battery hog. Be ready to change batteries frequently. For those that complained about the train falling off the tracks sometimes... Give me a freakin break! It's just a toy train. Build your tracks better. Plus, it jut means you gotta send Harvey out to put em back on line... It concerns me that I know so much about these characters. I have gotten these locomotives for my other grandchildren and they really enjoyed them. My new adopted grandson loves his trains and to have one that really goes and pulls lots of cars has him spellbound. Wonderful toy. My sons love trains but the problem is the 16month old keeps burning out the gears on the battery operated ones. This train really holds its own, my 16 month old can play with it off or on and it is still going. It has been about month since we have had it. Also it can power up the hills. So many of the battery powered engines are too wimpy. This train sees regular play everyday and I have not yet had to change the batteries. This is a great train for the wooden tracks. Very durable and great quality. My son just loves it! This James engine features with a special magnet helps keep rolling stock on the track. (1,2,3) The Thomas the Tank engines are nice toys. They are very durable and long lasting. Great toy. Fast delivery and outstanding customer service. Will buy from again and highly recommend seller. Henry is a classic engine and part of the 8 core characters in Thomas and Friends. He is in almost every video and essential, unfortunately he is not combined with any video (that i know of) so you just have to look at the bargain bin like i do. At first I was not sure to get Henry because he originally had a very inaccurate looking tender in his old model. Now he is sleeker and much better looking. While pricey, it is a great train to get, as the last review says if you get Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, and Toby, (numbers 1-7) they are great for learning numbers. Also Henry's tender, combined with others, can be great freight cars for those who don't want to pay even more. Henry in general is a very quality train with more wood than plastic and he is a great asset to any fan. I noticed the numbers on all the engines so I bought this one so I could make it so my son could count the engines from 1-10. This is number 3. Only the coal cars are marked. This is a large engine. It's size makes it difficult to push around and it derails easily. My son is 16 moths old and has trouble with this engine I recommend it if for the 2+ crowd. This is one of the better ones we have bought. I was going to just get the stacking risers but this a a better value for your money. When building your layout though, I would start with this piece and build off from it to better incorporate it. My kids (4 years and 2 years old) love playing this toy. We bought the Thomas traing engine with the basic wood railway and now we are lovers of this toy. Really easy to use, durable and funny to play. This expansion pack adds great high ways and tunnels to the railway. This set would be nice if it came with more risers. Immediately, I had to run out to purchase more risers to create the elevated levels. It is fine on a train table if you have enough curves and risers to keep it going. We also have the Nilo table that allows you to cantilever the track off the edge of the table, but being that my son is only 2 1/2, that's a concept better saved for next year. You probably need at least 4 additional risers b/c you need to have a riser at each track link for support. I ended up running out the same day for risers, which I could only find Brio, which are slightly shorter than the Thomas risers and creates some instability. You're only limited by your creativity and when you come up with a new idea, unfortunately, it also means purchasing more track parts. We found that this set when put together as a double decker like it is meant to be, is just too long for our train table. Luckily the stacking risers can be taken apart to make two seperate hills but that is not what we were hoping for. However, good quality as usual. It looked brand new and my son was very happy with it My twin 3 year old boys like it and it keeps their cars together. It is difficult for them to open and close, however. They love to wheel the case around like it's a suitcase and pretend to be traveling. I do recommend it, since it's an alternative to keeping their cars in a box. The case is going to be used by adult hands in my family, so I was not too concerned about the negative reviews regarding the cheap quality/make. I am ok with this product's quality for the price. The cars stay put when you use the plastic separator/cover properly. The wheels and the included toy are pretty unnecessary for me but that's understandable. I recommend buying from amazon for a better deal. Third-party vendors are charging a lot more - at least right now. Given the lack of good storage options for hot wheels/diecast cars, I am happy enough with the product to even buy again in the future. This case is very sturdy my 2yr old grandson uses it for all of his cars and drags it everywhere he goes and he pretty rough with it and it has stood the test of time, this is a great durable product I would recommend for anyone. This case does a great job holding lots of cars!!! It doesn't seem very durable to me though. I am contantly having to snap pieces back together.
