『The pads that come in this combo are pretty much worthless. The velcro closure is rather small making adjustments limited. Thus they slip and slide a lot. One of the pads ripped from its rivet on the first day with no abuse. The first time my son fell the strap for one of the pad nearly ripped all the way through. These pads might provide protection if you fall over while standing still, but I would recommend getting some thing more durable if you really want to protect your kid. I would have given a one star rating but the helmet is pretty good.』

『This is an awesome little 3 point harness seatbelt that makes it possible for our 12-month-old to enjoy his new triclycle!
It holds him very securely in the seat and even seats him in a better position toward the back of the seat so that his feet do not drag on the ground (he is a little too small to reach the pedals yet and doesn't quite get that he needs to pick up his feet!) It was extremely easy to install and can easily be removed or reinstalled as necessary (second siblings, etc.) It was definitely worth it!』

『This seatbelt worked out great for our 18 mo old on a Radio Flyer Ultimate Steer&Stroll trike. We didn't find a need for the center strap. The belt keeps her from sliding off the seat and also from jomping off when we are still moving. This seatbelt allows us to stroll around the neighborhood with our little girl in something more active than a stroller.

The self tapping screws worked perfectly and the strap and fasterners are good quality.』

『OK. Let's just all agree that bicycle helmets are ugly and that it's likely that you'll feel ridiculous wearing one. Get over it! These days with increasing numbers of distracted drivers, you'd be crazy not to wear a helmet. That being said, the Schwinn Thrasher Helmet is a great choice. It is comfortable, adjustable and was even able to fit my giant head. It is sculpted to allow ample air flow to keep your head cool and the basic black/charcoal design keeps the look simple and clean. I don't find the plastic visor to be of much use, but it can detached if necessary.

As a bonus, it is a "Best Buy" from Consumer Reports.

If you ride a bike don't expect a baseball cap to protect you. You need a helmet and the Schwinn Thrasher Helmet is a good choice at a great price.』

『This is the first bike helmet I've ever owned. It fits comfortably, the straps are soft and don't scratch your face. The easy dial at the back of the helmet to adjust the size of the helmet is a big plus. My only complaints about the helmet is that the plastic covering the helmet is cheaply glued to the Styrofoam. Also, the Styrofoam feels kinda cheap/flimsy. I kind of dented it accidentally when it hit the side of my desk. I don't know if this happens to other helmets as I have nothing to compare it with. But overall, for the price its nice. Wish I spend 10 dollars more for the gyro though.』

It turns out the helmet is very comfortable and attractive with it's black composite type detailing. There is an easy to use knob adjustment that is infinatly adjustable between the largest and smallest opening. It fit me and my wife perfectly. Cannot go wrong at this price.』

『While this helmet is not the fanciest around, it does do the job it is supposed to. I use this riding my bike early in the morning and so far so good. I have a large head, so finding a helmet to fit me is rather difficult. This one has an adjustable strap in the back that can fit a large range of heads (mine is adjusted to the largest size). I looked at helmets that were around $80 before finding this one, and I am glad that I chose the Schwinn Thrasher.

『I purchased this for my 4-yr. old grandson's birthday. He is learning to ride his first bike, and this will serve as his bicycle helmet. As he is a "Cars" movie fan, this seemed to be a good choice. He doesn't object to putting it on every time he rides, and naturally he makes motor sounds.』

『If you have a baby that's not yet old enough to pedal, this is the perfect trike. They're held in securely and their feet have a foot rest they can use until they're a little older and more able. The direction control on the handle is great. Construction is great. Overall, this is the best product for the younger child, and even better it can grow with your baby, saving you some cash along the way.

『Bought this for our 15 month old grandaughter! She loves crusing around in this. We love the adjustable handle and the ability to steer it. We also like that she will grow into it and be able to peddle it herself oneday. We like that she can put her hands on the handle bars and get a feel for how to turn it when we eventually turn the control over to her.

While putting it together, my husband was happy to see all of the nuts&bolts were already in the appropriate holes. Didn't have to figure out what went where. I only heard him curse once. Assembly was reasonably easy and our grandaughter enjoyed playing in the box while we put it together.』

『Before buying this product, I wondered if the front wheel can freely rotate. After receiving the product, I found that there was more friction in the front wheel than preferred while the back wheels moved freely. Of course, one wants minimal friction so that a child doesn't have to exert unnecessary force on the pedals. The shade canopy will flip out of position with a slight breeze. The push/steering handle is all plastic and after a week's use, I began to question its durability. The steering handle isn't responsive and sometimes I felt as though I should steer all the way left or right.

Yet, overall, this is a very good product. Because of the way it is designed, with the harness system, it can accommodate a kid who has learned to sit to one who can ride a tricycle. I use it to take my one year old on walks. I had asked a 2.5 years old neighbor's kid to give it a try and she was able to pedal, though not fast, probably in part due to the sticky front wheel. Another main selling point is the ability for the adult to steer.』

『The Little Tikes 3-in-1 Smart Trike is exactly what it claims to be, 'Smart'. Our 17 month old was more than ready for a tricycle but we wanted one that he could be pushed in until he was old enough to reach the peddles and ride on his own. This is the perfect learn as you grow tricycle. It starts off with a safety loop and shoulder harness for the toddler. And the push bar allows the adult to steer. The peddles also have a unique feature. They allow you to move the 'clutch' ring outward and disengage the peddles so that the toddler who can reach the peddles but isn't quite ready to actually keep up with the peddles while it's in push mode can rest their feet on the peddles without it being dangerous. Then when the toddler is ready to peddle, the clutch ring can be moved inward to engage the peddles with the movement of the front wheel. This is a great idea! In the second stage the shoulder harness straps can be removed from the seatback safteyloop and the shoulder harness straps are to be attached to the seat to become a lap harness. - (Something that wasnn't clear to some of the reviewers I read previously). So in the second stage you still have a seat belt. - The final stage, Stage 3 is simply to remove the push handle and the stationary footrests fold and flip up conveniently out of the way. All in all this is a very well thought out design. The construction is also very sturdy with an all steel frame, but the safety features are what really sets it apart from the crowd. - I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a tricycle for a toddler just starting out and who can't yet reach the peddles. They can enjoy it for many months until they are ready to graduate to a small bicycle with training wheels. - Oh, and don't forget to always have yor toddler wear a safety helmet, and once they start riding by themselves to not ride out of the driveway on to the street without stopping... Teach them to stop and look for cars, it will be a lesson well worth teaching. - Ride safe.』

『It took me probably around an hour of practice by myself to start riding smoothly. Once you start riding on smooth ground, it's really addictive since you don't need to paddle with your foot. I'm not sure if it was the way I increase speed, the ankle gets more pressure when I accelerate. Overall, this is a very fun board to ride, but I haven't had a chance to try other ripsticks to compare.

I've wanted to board ever since Michael J Fox
jumped off a Delorean onto a hover board! But never really
had the courage or the skills to master skateboarding (or roller-blades
etc. for that matter). I can snowboard though.

I've had a string of ankle and knee injuries as well so was tentative about trying
what looks like a very risky sport. Was fascinated by watching videos of the RipStik
and with encouragement from my partner decided to give it a go----so glad that I did!

I was riding and making turns within an hour of unpacking the RipStik.
The video tutorials are a *huge* help, they're also available
on YouTube (check out [..]). Definitely recommend
watching the tutes and following them closely.

This is the closest thing to a hoverboard I know of. Once you get the hang
of it, it will definitely put a smile on your dial. It is incredible fun.

Still a learner so haven't done any grinds yet, but it is a goal I'll work towards!!
