Buy this bell.
One more note: It comes in black and silver, but you won't know which you'll get. I bought 2 and got 2 colors. Doesn't make a difference for me, but it may for you?』
(Good for ELderly) 『I bought this bell to use on my 4-wheel walker/rollator. It works just fine for politely informing others that I want to get through. It is very well thought of. Thanks.』
(Cheap piece of junk - broke after 1 month) 『Bought this bell to have something on my bike to warn pedestrians of my presence. After a little over a month, the bell is broken. The lever doesn't ring the bell and just makes a harsh grating noise.
I guess it's my fault for buying it b/c Schwinn is a cheap junk brand. They stole my Cannondale b/c I tried to save a couple of bucks and bought a Schwinn lock, now this bell I bought and IT'S broken. Since it's over a month, Amazon is no help on the return.
Learn from my mistakes and don't buy this or any Schwinn product.』
(Great Bell, Wrong Description) 『This bell was better than expected performance wise. It was easy to ring compared to the other similar brands that I've tried. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the wrong description. The bell that I got was neither black or chrome as described but rather a silver PAINTED one.』
(Blast from the past) 『The sound of this bell brings back memories of riding my bike through the neighborhood I grew up in as a kid. I mounted this bell on my "adult" bike and feel the feedom of childhood again whenever I ring this great sounding bell. Fun stuff. Now, I am considering putting streamers on the handlebars...』

Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great Affordable Kettler) 『This is a great product I bought it for my twin daughters and they totally LOVE it, my oldest son also LOVES it.... I didn't give it 5 stars because the front wheel doesn't lock, so if I am pushing my child they can move anywhere they want, but I guess that's because I bought the cheapest of the Kettler trikes.』
(Awesome little tricycle!) 『We love this little tricycle! We bought it for our 12-month-old son for his first birthday. Although he is obviously not yet big enough to ride it on his own, he enjoys riding around the neighborhood with his mom or dad pushing him. It was so easy to assemble, my 10-year-old son was able to do it unassisted by us. It is a really great looking tricycle, too! It has four different settings so that he will be able to fit it as he grows. It is not excessively heavy and does not seem tippy like so many other trikes! The rear tipping bucket is adorable. The pushbar is removable for easy storage or for when your child no longer needs it. We purchased the seatbelt to go with it which works even better than I had imagined. We are very happy with this purchase so far and our son loves it, too!』
(Best Training Peddler Bike EVER) 『My 2 year-old grandson is using his leg muscles...not just his thumb...to move this bike.
Max is learning the power of his own body can make things move. He is developing gross motor skills and problem solving.
Those darn motorized toys are helping keep our kids obese and lazy.
This bike is the link between push-crawling manipulation and self-peddling. The CHILD is the motor while the adult is still helping steer for safety.
This is a must have toy to build self-confidence, independence, and exercise!』
(A great tricycle for the price, a decent tricycle overall) 『Kettler Kettrike Junior Tricycle with Pushbar
I purchased this for my three y.o. daughter. Relatively easy to put together, it took less than 30 minutes from opening the box to having my daughter riding it (and this was with constant bombardment of "is it ready yet?!"). It does not have the autofreewheel feature as described under "Product Features" as several other reviewers have correctly pointed out. I am actually happy for it because I want my daughter to learn how to pedal, and to associate the foot/pedal movement with movement of the tricycle. If I wanted the freewheel feature, I would have opted for the Kettler Airs (Navigator or Happy) and would be my suggestion.
I have yet to figure out exactly what "Maxxtread" tires are. It is not the same tires as the Kettler Air series (which are actual rubber tires with air), but does not feel completely plastic either, since it feels rubbery to the touch. It may be that there is a rubber coating on the tires. My preference was for air (and rubber) tires, but the tricycles with these tires do not have a fixed-wheel feature (all freewheel). Will update as the tires get more wear and tear.
I gave this a 4-star rather than 5-star for two reasons: First, my preference would be air tires and no freewheel. Unfortunately, Kettler does not provide this option for any of the models. It seems to be one or the other, and not both. But because my preference for no freewheel supersedes the rubber tires, I finally opted for the Kettrike. Second, I have no use for the pushbar. My daughter is very independent and does not want me to push her while she is riding it. I would have rather saved the $20(?) from the pushbar and upgrade the tires (if it was at all possible).
I purchased this with the toddler safety helmet and the bell: Bell Lil' Bell Shell Toddler/Kids' Bike Helmet Kettler Bell Red Metal Bell I did not get the seatbelt option.
Overall, I am happy with my decision and purchase (so far), and my daughter is very happy with her tricycle. Will update in a month or so.』
(Warning ... Buyer Beware) 『Please note that the item shipped is NOT the SAME as the item in the description. While all Kettler bikes are probably fabulous, I specifically purchase this one because the item escription stated it had the free wheel system so that my 1 year old, who can not yet pedal, could still ride without constantly being whacked in the shins by the pedals. THIS BIKE DOES NOT HAVE THAT FEATURE. At first, Amazon gave me a hard time accepting the return since we took more than a month to send it back and it was already assembled. When I pointed out that this was obviously a recurring problem based on all of the recent reviews (posted after my purchase) they agreed to accept the return.』 『Push your little one along in this Kettrike Junior. Kids can feel proud and confident while peddling, while parents can give them a safe, controlled ride.

』 『The Kettler name has been synonymous with top quality wheel toys for kids for more than 40 years, and the Kettler Kettrike Junior Tricycle is no exception to the Kettler quality and design standards. The frame is constructed with high-carbon steel to last a lifetime and a fade-resistant polyester powder-coat finish with sturdy molded plastic components. Designed to grow with your child, the brightly colored Kettrike Junior Trike will provide boys and girls with years of fun through multiple stages of development from one year old through six years old. With the included removable chrome-plated push bar, the Kettrike Junior Trike evolves from a parent-directed ride-on toy to an independently operated tricycle, all the while growing in size along with your child.
The Kettrike Junior Trike has a four-position telescoping frame with one bolt release so it can grow with your child or be used by multiple children. The four-position adjustable high-back seat with a handhold is appropriate and supportive enough for one year olds and sturdy for rough-riding four year olds. The parent-operated chrome-plated push bar allows kids to ride and enjoy the trike long before they learn to pedal, as young as 12 months old or as soon as they can grip the handles. The push bar can be removed easily as soon as your child is ready to pedal on his own.
As your child grows he or she will be able to reach and operate the pedals, first with the guidance of an adult helping with the push bar, and eventually on his or her own. Pedaling the trike helps kids build confidence and leg strength as they explore independently. Designed to be safe for young riders, the Kettrike Junior has wide synthetic MaxXtread tires that provide excellent traction for all-terrain riding and are super stable. The trike has a low center of gravity and limited turn radius steering that restricts the handlebars and front wheel from turning more than 45 degrees to the left or right, radically reducing the danger of tipping over. The trike is also equipped with a fun rear-tipping bucket that is great for both carrying and collecting supplies and is easy to remove and clean when necessary. The Kettler Kettrike Junior Tricycle is a standout toy for both its quality and its longevity.

(COnversion tracks) 『Nicholas and his friends had a lot of fun with the additional tracks to his Thomas the Train Ride On.』
(Mom of 2 yr old) 『Nice size track and child loves it. However, the track could be improved with groves so the it so the train doesn't slip as smooth plastic train wheels on smooth plactic track doesn't provide tracation. Make sure to open right away as I was missing a piece of track.』
(great purchase) 『I got this in conjuction with the train and i'm glad i did because even thought it takes alot of space my son loves it. The tracks that come with the train is not enough.』
(sort of warped) 『This addition to our track arrived boxed fine, no damage, but the ends were warped to the point that the train wasn't powerful enough to plow over the lips it created. They must have been stored in a hot warehouse. Its too bad because they make the ride more interesting than just the oval. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (A real kid pleaser) 『This bike is all my daughter talked about in the weeks approaching her birthday. I don't think anything else could have satiated my little spider man fan. The bike was easy enough for me to assemble, and is covered in Spiderman imagery. It is tough, a good size for my four year old, and easy for her to steer and break.
My only complaint is the Spiderman shield on the handlebars because it is made of very thin plastic and secured by a tie down. That cheap touch is out of place in an otherwise solid bike. It is easy to remove however and the bike loses nothing in its disposal. 』
(Excellent Bike) 『I purchased this bike for my little boy who is almost 4 years old, and he absolutely loves it. Even his sister (who is 6.5) rides it (I just raise the seat up for her).
』
(ok for the price) 『Took a bit to assemble and my son kept disconnecting the brake wires.. but he was only three at the time.. He also struggled with it as it is quite heavy but ultimately got the hang of it.
Now he is almost 4 (and the size of the average 5.5 years old) and we bike regularly but on a flat safe surface so he almost never needs to use the brakes.
The only real problem we have is with the pedals. Every now and then I will be biking with them and one of them will become unscrewed and will fall off. This is easily fixed by screwing the pedals back but is a little scary. i can imagine this being a real problem if we were biking fast and or going on a hill.』
(Low Quality China Bike) 『The old saying "You Get What You Pay For" definitely applies here. This bike is low quality but you shouldn't expect much these days when you pay $[...]. Good bikes are $[...]+ even for children. We put the bike together and found that both wheels were out of round. I had to true the wheels but even after that, the rims are still so low in quality that they weren't very even. One other issue is that the caliper brakes are almost useless. I had to adjust them to the max just to get them close to the correct spot on the rim for them to work. The pads fall short of the metal part of the rim. The manufacturer should have saved the $[...] on the caliper brake and put it into better quality rims. It is ridable and my son loves Spiderman so we will keep it. Bear in mind that it will only be used for a year or two and you will be OK. If you are in the least bit worried about quality, go with a better brand at a bike store. I bought this bike at Target for $[...].』
(Attractive bike, pesky defect) 『This is a great looking bike for any young Spiderman fan. However, first bike was defective: front wheel did not even fit on the front fork.
On the plus side, this bike is easy to assemble (I had to do it twice)!
Overall, I would buy again as long as you have enough time to get a replacement if need be.
The defective return was handled very efficiently by Amazon.』 『Spiderman 16" Bike』 『Give your child's spidey senses a workout with this 16-inch Spider-Man- themed BMX bike. Built for stability and comfort, the bike boasts such features as a heavy-duty steel frame, rear coaster and hand brakes for sure stopping, pneumatic 16- inch knobby tires for extra traction, a padded seat for maximum comfort, and a fully enclosed chain guard for safety. More significantly, the bike is ideal for bicyclists-in- training thanks to its set of secure training wheels. And your child will love the variety of Spider-Man decals and graphics, which are dispersed throughout the bike. Measuring 40 by 36 by 24 inches (W x H x D), the Spider-Man bike is a must-have for the budding superhero in your family.
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Get It Much Cheaper Elsewhere) 『Target and Sportmans Guide offer the Big Wheel for much less money.
I bought 2 Big Wheels for my then 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter. They have had a blast riding them for the past couple of years. Big Wheels are by far their favorite thing to ride. Plus, they're low to the ground and pretty safe.
The Big Wheel is not as durable as the one I had back in the day, but it is a decent toy to help get your kids away from video games and off the couch.
I had no problem putting it together.』
(Not as good as it is suppose to be.) 『My son got this for his birthday in April... Being that it is only July, you would think that it would still work. However, the stickers are all pealing, the pedals do not move and the bike is just over all too hard for my 4 year old to use. So sad since we was so excited to get it. :(』
(unhappy customer) 『this product is a piece of crap. i cannot believe this is the famous BIG WHEEL i used as a child. the pedels did not move freely as they need to. the back tire fell off after my 4 year old tryed to ride it with faulty pedels within 15 minutes.』
(Big Wheel Purchase) 『I am not convinced this product is made in the U.S.A. It has to be China. After all the reviews about the problems with the pedals, (which I also experienced) why doesn't the mfr. fix this product since it is a great toy? It took me about 3 hours to assemble it due to the cheap plastic parts.』
(Poor quality control) 『The hub of one of the rear wheels was defective and will not last very long. The peddles are very difficult to put on their shafts and then don't turn freely. This makes the Big Wheel very difficult to ride. The mfr is lacking in quality control.』 『The Original 16" Big Wheel Tricycle - The original 16" favorite ride'em toy from the 60's is now being manufactured again. Usually ships in 24 hours Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (early bike rider) 『I like the way the bike looks. I like how well built it is. Most 12" bikes are cheaply made. We own the deigo bike and the chain continuously falls off so we decided we needed a new one. My son is 3 1/2 and only 10% for height. Unfortunately he is too small for this bike. He has been riding without training wheels for several months now and I was really hoping this was going to work. But like many other reviews said, it is on the bigger side and my sons height just doesn't fit with this bike :(.』
(Good bike, heavy.) 『This bike is a great size and definately heavy duty as many reviewers have noted. My son has ridden it since he was 2+ and it still fits him at nearly 4. The only "complaint" I have with this bike is that when trying to teach my son without training wheels we realized that this bike is really heavy and has a short wheel base and may not be the best bike to try without the training wheels. Overall, a very good bike.』
(I would buy it again.) 『This is a good bike for the price. For a little bit more than other bikes I think you are getting a solidly built bike. That solid build means it is heavier than other bikes as other reviewers have mentioned. My 3 year old boy has not had any problems handling that extra weight -- even up slight inclines. The bike is pretty stable so it will not tip over easily, even when turning.
The shock absorbers obviously aren't necessary for a 3 year old, but I have to admit that they look cool. And they really do work.
I like the fact that it comes with a full chain guard. I knew that would be the first place he would stick his hands and sure enough, he did. I like the real air filled tires (I find it amazing that you can get a bike without real tires).
It was easy to put together and make adjustments. I did it by myself. Just be careful to line the tires up in the middle of the forks.
My only knock against this bike is that the back tire is a little warped. It doesn't affect him riding it or anything, but I can see it wobble slightly as he rides it. The should be able to make a tire that isn't warped. That is why I gave it 4 starts instead of 5. But I am not willing to pay over $200 for a Trek.
』
(good luck finding parts) 『This bike is great for my grandson but you have to give it to the suppliers for pulling a fast one when they don't offer any replacement tires that fit a bike my child loves but cannot ride because the tire sizes are so vague and not the same as the original one.』
(Very Pleased with this Bike) 『Based on the reviews we read on Amazon.com, we bought this bike as a birthday present for our son, who was turning 4. He's had it for almost a month. He did not have much trouble learning to use the bike on his own. His previous set of wheels were the radio flyer's tricycle. We are impressed with the quality of the bike. My husband assembled the bike. He didn't have any trouble. We did buy the bike from Walmart, as someone else had suggested. We had one concern with the bike while we were shopping for one. As I said, our son was turning 4. Most of the reviews we read here pertained to 2 1/2 year olds. Based on his height, it had seemed that a larger bike would've been more appropriate. However, we did not come across a larger bike with the kind of good reviews given on the Tonka. We took a chance with it anyways, and we are glad for it. This past weekend, I overhead a mom commenting on the Tonka at the playground. It seemed that her son was having trouble with his bike. Her son had the larger sized bike, and was about the same height as my son. We thank everyone who wrote a review on this bike. It was most helpful.』 『Children's Bike - Boys 12-inch Might Tonka - A great first bike for any boy, this Tonka Mighty Touch 12-inch features a high quality, steel dual-suspension frame and fork combo. She is small for her age, and she'll probably only be in it for another 6-8 months. But it was great! Very stable. She LOVED it! We took it to Moab and rode some jeep roads there. My husband felt very secure with here there (rather than off the back). I think the balance is much better than rear seats. You do have to ride a bit bow-legged, and you have to throw a leg over the back of the saddle to get off. Other than that. It was perfect. Yes - she wore a helmet just like everyone else.』
(kid loves it, easy to install but could be improved) 『The price is about right and it is the only set-up my kid seemed to like (as opposed to a rear mounted seat or trailer). Easy to load her in it. It was also easy enough to mount on a mountain bike, although i was skeptical at the one bolt that secured the seat to the cross bar mount, it seemed unsubstantial. Also, the straps could be easier to deal with, it would be great if it also had foot straps. If i could get it to slide up another inch, i wouldn't have to alter my pedaling so my knees don't hit the back of the seat, though a slightly longer bike frame (or shorter legs) would solve that. In all, we are enjoying bike rides together.』
(Good price) 『Is cute and nice, but it is wide and does get in your way when you peddle.』

(Doesn't fit all Kettler Trikes !) 『This bar might be great, but be careful before buying. I bought 2 Kettler Go Green fold n'go tricycles (1 for me, 1 for the ex) fro Toys R Us, and was amazed when I opened the carton there was no pushbar. I was told it used to come with one, but no longer does (not sure if the price was reduced for no p/b though). So I searched all over the internet including Kettler's own website, to find this pushbar and read reviews saying it worked for the fold n/go's. Guess what - works for the fold n'go's, but according to Kettler customer service, not the Go Green fold n'go's. Apparently customers complained the bar that came with was not "green" like the bike, so the mfg stopped supplying it with the trike! The Go Green has a smaller opening for the bar, so this bar is too big. Only place to get a bar is Kettler direct for [...]. Have tor eturn this one. Hope I don't pay shipping!』
(Works with Kettler Go Green Trike) 『Works great with the go green trike. I love the handle because it totally saves my back as I push my daughter around on her trike. The 4 positions of the push bar is great too because I can use it (I am 5'4) and my husband can too (he is 6'5)』
(Built Strong) 『Not much to say here other than it delivers on its name. My only other comment is that if you're ordering a tricycle along with this pushbar, make sure that you know if your tricycle already comes with a pushbar. In any case, it comes in multiple pieces so you will need to assemble the handle and the tubular steel sections.』
(Make sure you have check the the trike model before making purchase!) 『Pushbar is a good feature to add on!

(calling all construction workers!!) 『My husband chose this for our son as an alternative gift to the usual Bruder toys he already has. Don't get me wrong, Bruder's oversized trucks are interactive and fun, but what a GREAT lifesize working toy for the boy (which one you might ask, the 4 or 40 year old?) who loves to play in the dirt, leaves and sand. This excavator is made of sturdy metal and isn't very hard or time consuming to assemble. There's only one part that Jack gets frustrated with and it's the red flip-lock that holds the scoop in what I call the "off the floor" position that you see in the photo. I'm confident with use he'll get the hang of pulling back on the handles and easily flipping that piece back to let the scoop drop to the ground. This is a great toy for all ages as my 7 year old daughter loves to sneak a scoop or two when Jack isn't looking...and Dad is out looking for one that will hold his weight!』
(A boy's dream) 『My boy received this 3 years ago when he was 1 1/2 years old. He loved to sit on it in the house for the first year and turn around on it. After the first year, we moved it outdoors to the big sandbox. It has sat in the sandbox ever since.
My boy is now 4. He loves to go outside and "work" on his excavator. He can do everything really well now. He loves how it looks like the "real" thing. It has held up really great and has not faded or rusted. Some of the stickers are peeling off. It has sat for 2 years in all sorts of weather, including the scorching 110 degrees of summer and the freezing nights of winter.
My only complaints are that one of the bults in the "arm" of the excavator routinely comes undone and falls off. Also, it has been known to tip over a few times when my boy is digging while turned to the side position of the track base. It would probably be better if it was on a solid flat surface, but then it wouldn't be digging in the sand, right?
After 3 years, this excavator is still hard on the job and going strong!』
(great TOUGH little toy) 『I recently got this for my 5 yr old who is obsessed with diggers and construction equipment. This thing is built to last lemme tell ya.its all metal except for the rubber treads and the seat so its ment to stand the test of time and the abuse of a kid.heck ill even play with him and get my butt on this thing and scoop up stuff, fun little toy.great to bring to a beach to...just be prepaired for every little kid wanting to test it out.』
(WORTH EVERY PENNY!) 『We bought this excavator for my son's second birthday and he just loves it! He is a big kid, so he is able to sit in the seat and manipulate the bucket. The arm does lock - and he is not coordinated enough yet to pull back the left lever and unlock the arm. It is not an issue because at this point, he is just happy to sit and spin around on it. It does cost a chunk of change, but is worth every penny. I know that he will play with this for years! Not one regret with this purchase!』 『Official CAT Licensed Merchandise』 『Does your child like to dig in the sandbox? Well put away the shovels and put on the hardhat--the Kettler Cat excavator is ready to do the heavy lifting. This mini-Cat is big enough to seat a child who weighs less than 75 pounds, but small enough to fit in the average sandbox. Once seated, your child can use the dual action levers and large digging shovel to move sand, dirt, snow, or whatever else his or her heart desires. Like a real Cat, the excavator rotates 360 degrees, so you have full flexibility, and its tracked wheels are ideal for tooling around in the soft stuff. Best of all, the mini-Cat sports a sturdy high-carbon steel frame, so it won't fall apart after a few months of use, unlike so many plastic children's toys. Recommended for kids ages 3 and up, the excavator is backed by a three-year residential and one-year institutional warranty.
