『This is one of those purchases where you really don't know what you will truly get until you get it. To my suprised, it was easy to set up, my two year old loved it for his 2nd birthday party. Overall, it was a great purchase and easily much cheaper than The actual Thomas the Tank Engine set and just as much fun according to my son. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who, like me, has a child who is in loved with trains and anything related to trains or choo choo train as he would say.』

『on my commute which is 20 min. one way, and now I'll replace it with another like it. Re: install difficulty: if I can do it, anyone should be able to-- my techno-skill doesn't go much beyond plugging things in.
It's not the brightest light but I bike through streets that have street-lights, so it works fine. I very much have liked not having to think about batteries etc....』

『Generator lights are a great idea, of course. The reasons are obvious - mostly because they don't use batteries, but also because at 6v, they put out more light than most battery lights.

Unfortunately, this Bell unit is simply made too cheaply. Probably for 50 cents more, they could have made a much better product, but it is what it is. The wires are ridiculously thin and fragile. The unit itself is puny by any standards. I think some of the folks who praised this unit are impressed with the light when they first used it, but usually within one or two weeks, something shakes loose, and the unit no longer works.

Nice try with a low-cost generator light, but unfortunately, this one is a dud.』

『This thing is crap not powerful and hard to set up. I have a background in electric and it was still a pain for me. YOu will have to solder some connections in order to set up the ground properly. The instructions arent very good either. Also the lights die when you come to a stop unless you wire a battery into the circuit.』

『Bought this light and found parts were missing. Went to the hardware store and bought the needed hardware and installed the light. Problem is the headlight doesn't work - called Bell and they haven't made this light since 2006 and they told me to contact Amazon for help. Now if I have to send it back I have to take it all apart and package it up and stand in line at the shipping store. What a pain for a $15 light. Not worth the trouble.』

『Unlike the other tricycles Kettler makes, this bike is lightweight (but still very well made). Their other bikes are far too much bike (too heavy, too unwieldy, too hard to steer) for any toddler or small child who isn't planning to do serious off roading. This is the one, this is the trike to get: looks nice, rides well, and it's well made. This is definitely the right option for city dwellers, unlike other Kettlers which are not only terribly heavy, but rediculously wide as well.』

(Just What Was Needed)
『This comes three to a package. Sturdy construction. Good design. The only one that is better (but larger) is the speed lever by crank brothers. I keep the Park Levers on my bike at all times.』

(A litter better than my hands on 700c)
『These can be effective for people not used to changing tires, but I find that any tire they work on can be removed without tools.

It may be that they work better of 26" tires, but for 700c tires make sure that you have some steel levers for the difficult tire.

『I have a number of bikes and each bike's toolbag is outfitted with a pair of these levers.

HINT: Buy two packs of these levers and you'll have enough for three bikes!

They have worked almost without exception to enable flat fixes and tire change outs while in the garage or on the road. (The one exception was when trying to install 700x27, yes 27, Panaracer wire beads onto a Shimano 540 wheelset for cyclocross - then I had to resort to the big boys - the beefy man-sized metal Park TL-5s)

HINT: These levers, unlike the TL-4s, have a very useful feature. See those hooks on the end? Nope, they're not for gutting fish on the pier or for cleaning out field fowl after shot-gunning in the cornfield - use them to hook onto a nearby spoke after levering a portion of the tire off your wheel's rim - very, very handy as a third hand!

These levers are a rare bargain and a standout example of quality and utility in today's corncucopia of cheap import tools - get a pair for your kit or bag!』

『Got this trike after several days of reviewing tricyles online. This seemed to be the best of the best. Very simple to assemble and easy to adjust to my daughter's height. Love the "fat" tires and the bright colors. She loves it and especially loves being able to "peddle--actual she is still learning". We are all teaching her how to steer -- left, right, straight, first.

We need to get some foot cradles for the peddles for her to be able to keep her feet steady on the pedals -- they have them, we just didn't think she would need them.

Love the way you can adjust the turning radius so she won't be able to turn to sharply and turn over.

All in all -- just as advertised!! She loves it and parents and grandparents love it!!』

『I thought that my two years old daughter was not able to pedal yet, until she used her friend's tricycle and she started pedaling like a professional. I felt horrible, because I was underestimating my child's pedaling skills. Her friend, who is a pro in pedaling could not even start moving when she hoped on my daughter's "Air Navigator." I regret having spent $200 in this supposedly very good tricycle. I would not recommend anybody to buy this trike. The auto - free wheel design is not a good feature.』

(Great Tricycle, challenging to assemble)
『Just bought the Air Navigator for our 1.5 yr. old. Took me a solid hour to assemble with limited instructions (mainly graphical with very little text). You must read the instructions CAREFULLY..they are well thought out but have to be followed perfectly.

The Air Navigator is very well built (great tires!), and a smooth ride even on the rough pavements of NYC. The pushbar could be a bit more solid for $220 but it works well.

Buy the seat belt accessory and the footrest (for smaller kids whose feet don't yet reach the pedals).』

『I decided to splurge on my 2.5 year-old and buy him this trike - I thought it would be the Cadillac of trikes. Though it has been okay, it is not stellar. My husband assembled it, and could not get the screw that secures the bucket latch in. We thought the screw was the wrong size, though a Kettler rep has since told me this screw is self-threading and significant force is needed to insert it. Anyway, we took the trike to the hardware store to buy a new screw, but unfortunately since Kettler is a German company, they use metric screws, which are not available here in the US. So we have been using it without the rear bucket, which has been fine. I think a basket would have been much more fun than a bucket anyway. But now we have lost a nut&washer for the bolt that secures the seat to the frame. So for now the trike is unrideable, until parts from Kettler USA arrive :( I really do regret buying from a German company - an American product would have been so much easier!』

Using the optional tandem add-on, you can use Air-Navigator for two children.
When your child is ready for biking, a simple on/off switch (located under the Kettler logo on the handlebar stem) unlocks the front steering stem and the Air-Navigator operates as a standard freewheel tricycle.
