(For bikes, excellent wrench and a great money saver:) 『Here's the thing, this is the only torque wrench you'll ever need for the bike, since it covers the entire range of torques for 99.99% of all bicycles. The same range for the Park click type wrenches is at least $200.00, because you'd have to buy the TW-5 and TW-6.
These dial type wrenches are accurate enough for bicycles, without a doubt. For cars, I use the click torque type because the name brands really are more accurate, looking at a gauge is really difficult under the hood or car, AND you need better accuracy for cars because of the tremendously larger forces and various materials you work, eg, keeping water from getting through the heads into the engine.
Bikes just don't need the plus or minus 4 lb. accuracy. Nobody, not even Lance Armstrong pedals at>1000 lbs. per square inch, on any bike part.
Save yourself $160. No worries. And save yourself the trouble of having to store two wrenches instead of one in your toolbox.

It took about 15 minutes. The bike has both a hand brake on the handle bars and a pedal brake, however, my daughter's can't reach the hand brake. Since it can't be adjusted, she can only use the pedal brake. Overall, the bikes seems to be of good quality and I am happy with my purchase.
The bike arrived in a box that was really beat up. The box was partially ripped in some spots and on one side a portion of the bike was sticking through the box. Once I took the bike out and started to assemble it I realized that the bike was damaged. One of the lug nuts that held the front wheel in place was partially crushed. Obviously, this bike fell from a height onto concrete or something very heavy fell on it to do that kind of damage. I sent the bike back and then had to wait 3 weeks for a replacement. The replacement came and the box was not in much better shape. I examined the new bike closely and found no real damage, but there were some scratches in the paint, most visibly on the handlebars. So, bike was also handled improperly in the shipping and handling process. I decided to keep the bike in spite of the scratches because I had wasted enough time getting to this point and hadn't found a nice bike at a local retailer for the same price.
I have had nothing but good experiences dealing with Amazon over the years. Customer service was helpful and responsive in this case. However, after reading some of the other reviews, I saw that many other people have had problems with the packaging and shipping of this bike. I would recommend the bike, but beware of the shipping and condition of the bike when you get it. Be prepared to send it back for another one becasue there is a good chance it will arrive damaged. 』
(Strong ... but too heavy for our girl!) 『We bought this bike for our daughter 2 years ago and are now looking for a smaller, lighter bike for her to actually learn to ride on. She has enjoyed riding it with training wheels when she goes out with Daddy on his jog, but now she is 6 ... and when she just wants to play she gets back on her tricycle, which is way small for her now. She is normal height and very strong, but when she is sitting on the bike, even with the seat set low, she is very high off the ground.
It probably comes down to being more about the process of learning to ride than about this bike. We thought we could skip the 12" bikes and get something strong that would take her from learning into 6th grade. The Jasmine will indeed last her a long time, but the lesson for us has been that a child who's sitting way high up on a heavy bike is too scared to relax and experience balance. (She has a scooter, by the way, and she is learning balance from playing on it.) Now we're thinking that a small, light plastic bike might be the ideal way for her to have that first balance experience, even if she tires of it quickly once she can ride without training wheels.』

I bought two, one for my 6 year old daughter and one for my 5 year old son (different colors of course). They can use it as a regular scooter and push along with their foot, or use the kick bar, which can be a little awkward at first. I should tell you that it does not roll backwards because of the gears and is a little heavier than a regular scooter. My kids don't seem to have any problems with it and just pivot off the back wheel when they want to flip around. It is well made, very sturdy (I did try it). I found when I kicked the bar I didn't have great balance but that got better with practice. As for speed, I think it's the same whether you kick or push. I think regular scooters go a little faster because they are lighter. It has a kick stand so you can stand it up, but I found it to be a unreliable unless it is a very flat surface. Over all I think it was worth the extra cost. It is nice to have the choice of propulsion and I think my kids would have been disappointed with anything else. They were very specific as to which one they wanted for Christmas because it looks cool and is just a little bit different.』

The pedal has been working smoothly for over 1000 miles, requires no maintenance, clips in/out smoothly, and has adjustable tightness (from very easy in/out to very tight). Overall a very solid pedal, smooth clipping in/out, and simply works great! The paint and aluminum has been scratched, but the cro-moly clipping mechanism is in perfect condition.
Overall, very well priced at forty with a set of cleats. Don't really see a reason to upgrade to the PD-540 or PD-770.
Before you expect to hit the road, loosen the pedals about 1 full round (there are two 3mm hex screws per pedal for adjusting tension) so that it is not too tight. And practice getting in and out. I fell twice within the first weeks because I was not accustomed to getting in/out quickly. After you get used to it, adjust it to your preference.』
