I ordered these for my grandaughter's Christmas program and they will be perfect. They are small enough for little chilren, not overpowering as larger wings would be. The straps are a little long but can be remedied easily. They are an exceptional value at $6! I ordered a second set for her cousin so they can be perfect little angels in their choir! If you need the total look, I suggest looking at the feather angel halo from this collection. It's adorable too!』
(Gorgeous wings, straps too tight) 『Wings are as beautiful in person as they are online; still can't believe they cost $6. I was at least as excited as my daughter to get them. As a pleasant surprise, I like the rigid design -- they don't fold in the center like so many costume wings -- so they stay in place rather than flopping about.
However, sadly, the elastic straps were too tight on my 4 1/2 year old. She complained and took them off immediately.
I hate to ding their rating but seems like 4-5 year old should be somewhere in their sweet spot age/size-wise. Otherwise, they should make them in different sizes or make the straps adjustable. Well, we'll keep them for costume collection. Perfect if you have a smaller child to outfit.』

It comes with a pad of paper that has different faces on there. The child can use real make-up brushes with eye shadow and lipstick paints to make-up each doll. My daughter has already done four and has had fun with. Not too messy either. Everything comes in an organized set. The only down side will be to find more paper with faces on it or save some to make small copies until the make-up runs out.』

(Not What I Expected) 『I bought this kit as a gift for my niece, who loves art projects and coloring. However, I was a little disappointed when it arrived. There is no outer package around the product, so the inside of the kit had spilled out into the shipping box. The sketch paper pad was completely detached from its backing, and there is no way to re-attach it. The color wheel is not attached to the tri-fold either, although it looks like it should be because there is a little cardboard "pocket" around it that has glue lines on the back. I will still give it to my niece because I don't think she is old enough to recognize the way it should have been put together, but overall the quality of the product was sub-par. There are also no instructions, so I didn't realize the product was not meant for use on the skin (found that out after reading some of the other reviews). Bummer.』

(Great concept, but...) 『I got this for my 10 year old budding fashion designer. It's a great concept, but I wish it had more models to draw the clothes on, because I think they will all be drawn on in the first afternoon. Also, the glue used to hold all the stuff in the folder got on the bottom of the book and I had to rip several pages to get them apart. The pad with the models on it was glued into the folder too, and I had to rip the back to get the pad out. My child is going to get a gift for Christmas that looks like six other kids have already played with it because the company was a bit too liberal with the glue.』

There are five dolls (including a "mystery boyfriend" and four girls), many stencils of outfits to trace onto the blocks of fabric that are included. Our kids' scissors have a tough time cutting through the fabric easily, so I tend to have to cut out each outfit. Also, I can imagine the hundreds of tiny stencil parts getting easily lost. Most of the blocks of fabric are pink or pink-patterned -- the only masculine fabric in the kit is camouflage, which really limits the boyfriend's wardrobe.
