(oooh ahhh toys!) 『not the most detailed figure on the dc directs line but its still a nice tailoring job and the face is decent enough. it looks great when displayed on my shelf in his action poses with grapple gun in hand. for me this was the only dc direct watchmen 13" figure worth buying. if you must pick one this is it, other than that wait for the hot toys versions of comedian and silk spectra. its worth the bucks i paid but not retail.』
(Rorshach is awesome!) 『Alright so I ordered this from go-hastings for about $25 which is why I bought it considering how high the normal retail price is. Go Hastings shipped it fast and it came in ok condition.(The box at the top was a bit ripped,but no damage to the figure.) So now to the review of the figure:
Pros: The figure is extremely detailed, with three layers of clothing, his coat, then his suit and neck tie thing, and then a white shirt. When you first look at Rorschach in the box he looks a bit odd, but don't worry he will look fine when you put on his hat. He is much more flexible than the smaller Rorschach figure and stands up much more stable. He comes with three sets of hands, a grappling gun, a spray can of Veidt hairspray for men, and a miniscule lighter, and a certificate of authenticity though it is not numbered. There is no The End is Nigh sign so don't hope for that.It takes a little manuvouring to get the gun and spray in each hand but I got it after a while.(Note: I recommend putting the accesories in his hands before you switch them the hands he comes wearing.) For some reason my Veidt hair spray cans label was upside down...I don't know if that was intentional or not. The grappling gun's hooks can be pushed out just a bit. As for the lighter, don't even bother trying to get it in Rorschach's hand. I tried this and after awhile decided to put it in the belt of his coat instead. If you don't want to do that, put it and the extra hands away somewhere safe where you won't lose them. The stand for Rorschach is nice, it can move up and down by pushing a button so you can set him at any height you want. Under his mask is his facial sculpt but for some reason I liked it better on the smaller figure so I kept his mask on. Alright that's my description of the pros, now for the small amount of cons.
Cons: The figure is very hard to get out of the box even after you untie him. I was very worried I was gonna break him when I was forcing him out of the plastic encasing. The stand I had a lot of trouble getting out, and it isn't very strong so I recommend being very careful when taking it out. His lighter is far too small, and rather pointless as he can not hold it and in his belt it looks like a gun. With all of Rorschach's clothing he is very bulky at the top of his coat rather then the skinny portrayal of him you'd expect, but its minor. That's about it for the cons.
Sorry if this was a bit too detailed. Overall at 25 bucks this figure is more than worth buying for any Watchmen fan/collector whether you like Rorschach or not. Hope you liked my review and if I can I will try to get a picture up of my Rorschach displayed.』

(AWESOME!!!) 『This toy is DA BOMB! It is tons of fun to play with the miniature Edgar Allen Poe action figure. It fits with the same scale as all my GIJOES. That means that it goes great when you are having a big battle against Cobra: The Enemy in your bedroom (or even in the bathtub).
When I play, I pretend that Duke took a bullet and went down, and Edgar Allen Poe took his place as leader. This fits perfectly with the GIJOE story. EAP then goes on to fight Cobra, until it ends with a final showdown between him and Storm Shadow. Edgar Allen Poe uses his ninja skills to kick Storm Shadow's rear, and then goes on to destroy Cobra Commander in a one-on-one duel.
To handle Destro and Zartan, Poe simply commands his Raven. As they move in to attack, the raven shouts "Nevermore!" and then swoops down to pluck out their eyes. (Eye-plucking is quite effective in battle, by the way.) Then as Cobra: The Enemy is destroyed, all the good guys shout, "YO! JOE!"
And finally, we find out that Duke wasn't really dead, but was simply in a coma. So Edgar Allen Poe gracefully relinquishes command of the troops, and vows that one day, should he ever be needed to fight injustice again, he shall return.
So basically, what I am trying to say is that this toy is a lot of fun. (Lot of Knights for a low price) 『This is definitely the most knights you can get for the price, especially if you get free shipping via Amazon Prime. The figures are reasonably well formed (a few bent swords coming out of the package) and have good detail. I was mostly disappointed with the selection of poses and their distribution between the two colors of men. I count 12 different poses in my set, 6 poses per "side" (color). But, the gold side has 8 figures with maces (2 poses), 6 figures with swords (2 poses) and 6 figures with axes (3 also holding flags). The silver side has no maces or axes, 6 archers (3 longbow, 3 crossbow), 4 peasants with pitchforks (might be historically accurate, but definitely not knights), and 10 knights with swords (in 3 different poses). The poses/colors of my set seem to be opposite of those shown in the product picture.
Perhaps there is a true historical reason the weapons were selected for each side (the English did favor the longbow), but I would have preferred a more even distribution. The gold figures mostly have round shields, but I haven't found anything that indicates a specific time period or nationality (I could be wrong). So these are good if you want a lot of figures. If you want more interesting or colorful figures you might look at the other knight sets on Amazon. Unfortunately their shipping costs can be as much as their price. After I ordered these I found several different sets (Knights&Dragon Toob, Crusader Knights&Horse Figure Playset (12 Knights&4 Horses) (Bagged) by BMC, Knights Play Set, etc) at a local Hobby Lobby for less than Amazon's price (and no shipping). Generally it is not easy to find knight figures, so I was surprised to see them there (I had looked several other places locally with no success).
