It looks fantastic, is excellently sculpted, and appears identical to the character in Friday the 13th. Comes well packaged in a large box with clear plastic window. It comes with two replaceable heads, the early Sackhead and then the hockey mask wearing head. On the second head, you can remove the mask for the disfigured visage of Jason himself. Elbow articulation is rather useless (pivots but doesn't bend), wrists fully rotate but no movement in the waist or legs. Nonetheless, it's just amazing to look at and will top off you Jason display.』
(Static display) 『The 18"figure is for standing display only. It is poseable but not for handling on a daily basis.』
(Super cool!) 『Great movie detail right down to the 2 jackets made into 1. Sadly, the legs are stationary and the arms move very little. Not that this is necessary, as he is proudly displayed on our living room bookshelf (much to my wife's chagrin) and will not be played with by anybody. I can't decide if I like the "Sack head" or the "Hock" best, so I find myself switching between the two every other day.
This is my favorite "Jason" so far, but like someone said before, I have always only collected the smaller figures and this is my first large one. I did place an order for a 12" NECA from part 7, but have yet to receive it. Hopefully it is as movie accurate as this one.』
(A must-have for Friday the 13th fans) 『Based on the new Friday the 13th reboot, this 18" Jason is a fantastic action figure from NECA. The sculpt is great and so is the articulation. It also comes with an alternate 'sack' head, and as if that wasn't good enough, the hockey mask comes off revealing Jason's true face. Normally I only collect the smaller-scale 7" figures, but I'm glad I decided to give this bigger one a try. It simply looks amazing on my shelf and it's easily the best Jason in my collection.』
(Cool Action Figure) 『The detail and likeness to the real thing is identical great addition to any collector.』 『For over 25 years, audiences have been shocked and terrified by the hockey-masked murderer of Camp Crystal Lake, Jason Voorhees. While Momma Voorhees was the maniac in the original Friday the 13th, it's her undead son people have come to know and love. The star of 11 films, including the recent hit Freddy Vs. Jason, Mr. Voorhees has also spawned a spinoff TV series, comic books, novels, and a host of imitators. It's obvious that Jason is still as popular as ever.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (The cape came off...) 『We purchased this toy for our son's 5th birthday. When his little sister tugged the cape to grab the toy from him, the cape came off. It's not a good toy for rough play. It's better for collectors. Without Superman's cape, he's just not the same character!』 『Each figure features multiple points of articulation and a base.
『From Mattel and the DC Universe, this exciting 7-inch scale Man-Bat action figure features brilliant colors, tons of detail, and plenty of articulation. Don't miss out on this exceptional figure!』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Serius black figure) 『Figure of Harry Potters godfather has authentic details of face&clothing.Great for a collector or older child! Has small parts,so not for a small child!』 『NECA produced this line of figures based on the feature film, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix. The figures feature amazing sculpts and paint applications which capture the actors and creatures of the film in amazing detail! Collect them all, each sold separately.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Troll Priest) 『This action figure is incredible! It has a perfect artwork. Its of great size and color. The little problem is that it isn't too articulated. A Great Collectible.』
(It stands on its own!) 『I just love this figure. It is one of my favorites and the one that costs less. It is plain wonderful. So much, I bought a couple for some friends.
The art is wonderful, the details are awesome. It stands on its own. And no, trolls are not my favorite race on Wow.
I passed by and noticed a review about it having standing issues.
First of all, most Wow action figures has standing issues. That means, most of them will have a 0.5% over time to fall.
I have owned series 1, 2, and 3 over 5 months. Figures with standing issues are: Valeera (female blood elf rogue), Illidan, the undead rogue (it stands perfectly at the beginning, but over time somehow it has lost its balance), and the draeni female (it has to touch the wall).
The troll, I think, fell once at the beginning. When you find out how to balance it (and it didnt take much), it kept stable.
I can say that, at least 2 toys over 6 months, I had no issue with balance.
I am including an image on the product gallery, so you can see with your own eyes.
This product is so cool, I will buy another one for future keeps. :)』
(Let's be woobly!) 『I had highly anticipated this piece, and it was another close call at being a dream come true. Sadly, the troll is another figure that suffers from an inner ear infection, and simply can't stand up on his own.
This is probably the most frustrating line I've ever collected. The sculpts are amazing, but worthless if you're going to open them. For kids, the poses really aren't what I consider play friendly. For display you'll have to plan on building some sort of support, or he's a goner.』 『THE SECOND WAVE BEGINS! Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review ("I'm on it boss! Eat laser clankers!") 『Hasbro continue their series of figures from the animated series The Clone Wars with #21 Clone Trooper with space gear. Unlike the figures from the parallel The Legacy Collection series, these figures sport a more stylised 'animated' appearance and as such certain body proportions and structures can look a little odd. This is one of the Clone Troopers that were with Master Plo Koon in the episode Rising Malevolence from the great scene where they take on the Rocket Battle Droids. The Trooper has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational and vertical), wrist (rotational and abductional on right wrist), torso (rotational and vertical), hips (vertical), knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) articulation giving him a massive 25 ranges of movement. He comes equipped with a black BlasTech DC-15S blaster, a light grey BlasTech DC-17 hand blaster (which fits into the holster on the front of the rebreather, a white space rebreather backpack (which can be removed if you remove the Trooper's head first!) and a white and ochre Mitrinomon jet pack which fires an ochre missile by applying pressure to the bottom of the missile A very nice trooper and a must have for those army builders out there.』
(Clone Trooper is awesome!) 『Very pleased with the brand new condition of this toy. Came reasonably fast by mail. My grandson absolutely LOVED this particular Clone Trooper with the firing blasters! Tons of Fun!!』 『Clone troopers are outfitted with additional gear when a battle calls for them to leave their ships and venture into the vacuum of space. Wearing specialized breathing equipment, they can move through space to board enemy ships for attack or seizure. Step into The Clone Wars animated world with this articulated action figure based on the animated forces. In full detail, this figure has two-toned armor and comes with a firing backpack launcher and removable gear. Pose him in defense as you stage him in your own galactic battles. Measures 3.75 inches tall.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (Great pose-pal for your Raiders Indy figure!) 『Okay, so for starters, I'm a huge Indy fan. I have waited a long time for an Indiana Jones action figure line with decent quality and many characters, and since I've collected Star Wars figures forever, I actually wanted them to be this 3 3/4 size too (granted, I prefer my other collectible figures to be 6 inches or so, but I don't usually get accessories or playsets for those). Well, with the 4th Indy film, which is way underrated in my opinion (fellow longtime fans should give it a second viewing before deciding yea or nay; I had to warm up to it myself but love it now), that long dreamed of action figure line finally arrived from Hasbro... to mixed reactions. I'm sure many complaints were about the small size of the figures compared to the now more popular 6 inch or larger action figures out there for adult collectors these days. And, let's face it, most Indy fans are adults who grew up with the original films. However, I think what put most people off of this new line is that many, MANY figures were released to stores with awful paint jobs. I mean TERRIBLE paint jobs, specifically in terms of the eyes. This was most noticeable in the Raiders figures, and Indiana more than anyone.
Now, in my case, I wanted to wait and make sure they made more figures, and I wanted to see if the price wouldn't go down a bit too. Figures are way overpriced these days. But, once I saw Last Crusade figures on the shelves (along with a price drop of a couple of bucks), I dived in. A few of those first figures I bought I have previously reviewed, and let me tell ya, those ones I selected had excellent face sculpts! Of course, with huge, cartoony eyes painted on some of the figures, it would sure be difficult to notice the sculpting underneath. So, combine those first bad impressions with the fact that young kids just don't seem to "get" Indy (yeah, it was the second biggest film this past year, but the toys sat on shelves till the figures hit 3 bucks recently, and they're still moving slowly with a few character exceptions), and you end up with the problem I'm having now. I have wanted a Short Round figure to stand next to my Indy figure forever (a desire carried over from my original Kenner Indy figure), and it seems those Temple figures are only going to be available online now, for those of us in the states, at outrageous scalper prices since the first couple of rounds of figures sold so poorly. And to add insult to injury, the Elsa and Colonel Vogel figures have been in extremely short supply since day one. Man, I want an Elsa!
Anyways, as I searched fruitlessly for Elsa and the Temple figures this weekend at the big U.S. retailer who recently cut the price on these figures down to clearance levels, I did increase my total collection count to 14 (hope to add more before they're gone, too), as my second main focus was on Raiders of the Lost Ark figures, which I'd bought none of yet. I ended up with a nice number of Raiders characters, including an Indy with a good paint job and a decent Marion also, plus the figure I'm going to talk about here, the Cairo Swordsman.
You may remember this guy from the famous scene in which Indy responds to flashy swordsmanship with a well placed bullet. If you managed to get the jacketless, sweaty Indy figure (I still need that one myself, he's become one of the tough ones to find), set him up with the Cairo Swordsman for a great display! As I mentioned before, these figures have great detail, but you definitely have to check out the paint jobs and find a good one. The same figure can look amazing or awful depending on how the face is painted. The Cairo Swordsman is not as articulated as some of the figures. He can still be posed well, but with the stiff plastic of his robe, there was little point in making his knees bend, so they simply don't, nor do his ankles. He is also rather shy in the accessories department, as he only comes with his sword and secret artifact. Each figure comes with a different artifact in a paper crate, though they seem to be sized for 6 inch action figures like the one the Disney theme parks recently started carrying.
Regardless, the Cairo Swordsman is a great Indy villain figure to add to your collection. He's not a major character, but he's from one of the most memorable scenes and is really nicely sculpted here. A good choice for play or display as opposition to the greatest movie hero of all time! 』 『After defeating a pack of local thugs, Indy encounters his most sword-savvy foe yet: the Cairo Swordsman. Wielding a heavy scimitar sword and an over-confident grin, the Cairo Swordsman appears from behind a crowd in a thronging marketplace. Despite his razor-sharp skills, he is easily dispatched and only briefly delays Indy's frantic search for Marion.
Add to the adventure and your collection with this sinister-looking Cairo Swordsman figure! Challenge this sword-wielding enemy to a duel and swipe the hidden relic in the process. Dressed in a long, black robe and head wrap, this posable figure is ready for a sword-swinging showdown. And only you can decide who will win! Recreate exciting and memorable scenes from the classic Indiana Jones film, Raiders of the Lost Ark. Figure comes with a weapon and hidden relic accessories. Figure measures 3.75"H.』
Core2Duoノートレビュー 's review (fine for a toy) 『what can you say, it's a toy, and my 6 yr old son loved it.』
(Happy Child) 『We could not find this item locally at Target, K-mart or Walmart so, we looked on-line and found it. Toy was delivered quickly and my son loves it!』
(THE Genral) 『This action figure is the most actiony figure ever! first of all, all his arms move and roatate. the paint job is great and it looks like an actual evil cyborg. and the best part that i found out about is that you can rotate his arms around and snap them together so it looks like he just has 2 arms. so....yeah.....he pretty much just single handedly beat all my clones up.』
(Best Grievous figure made) 『Finally!!! Hasbro decided to design the G.G. figure once more and actually got a pretty good desgin out of it! The figure is taller, you can have 4 arms or 2 arms without hassle, lots of weapons included, and the eyes look very realistic. At last a Grievous figure we can all enjoy! A MUST BUY FOR FANS!』 『A cyborg composed of melded metal and flesh, Grievous is one of the most chillingly effective military leaders in the Separatists army. He is a powerful and frightening presence in battle, exhibiting strategic ingenuity and flawless cunning.
